Abstract

The learning model has become a major focus in efforts to improve learning effectiveness, especially in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. One model that attracts attention is the Jigsaw Cooperative Model, which emphasizes inter-student collaboration to better understanding.  The study aims to explore the application of the Cooperative PAI Learning Model by reference to the Kemp steps. The research method uses a qualitative approach with relevant literature, including books, journals, articles, and other sources related to the chosen topic. The data collection method used is the search for information about various aspects or variables related to a research topic.  Research results show that the application of this model is able to improve student involvement in PAI learning, with more intensive and collaborative learning activities.  The findings underline the importance of implementing Kemp's measures in supporting the effectiveness of the PAI Cooperative Jigsaw Learning Model.  Teachers need to pay attention to planning, implementation, evaluation, and revision continuously to ensure optimal learning.  The practical implications of this research are to provide guidance for educators in adopting and implementing cooperative learning models that are oriented towards better learning outcomes in the context of PAI learning.

Abstract

The main focus of PAI subjects is the development of student character but in reality when expected with field situations it can be seen that student participation in class is often lacking. This study aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning (PBL) on increasing student learning activities in PAI learning. Using a qualitative research approach, this research uses classroom behavior as a research design and involves high school students as participants. This study conducted interviews, observations and documentation in its data collection techniques. The results showed that there was a significant increase in student activity after implementing PBL. Students also reported better learning experiences and higher learning success. This research contributes to the development of an interactive and effective learning model to increase students' understanding and awareness of Islam.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze students' learning motivation through the flipped classroom model in PAI learning. This study uses a qualitative approach by uncovering and studying the application of the flipped classroom learning model in PAI learning. Data collection techniques were obtained through interviews and observations in order to gather information related to the implementation of the flipped classroom model. The research results explain that in the application of this learning model it can be carried out in different times and places between educators and students. This model prioritizes students to be more independent in learning. There are obstacles in the application of this learning, namely the difficulty of educators in monitoring students, students' weak memory, lack of support from parents, school facilities and infrastructure, and students' difficulties in understanding the lessons given. The efforts that can be made are to motivate students in overcoming obstacles from the flipped classroom learning model, namely refreshing, parenting counseling, innovation, and skill improvisation.

Abstract

Mathematics teaching and learning should equip students with the ability to think critically and creatively and problem-solving skill to enable them to compete in the industrial revolution 4.0. This descriptive explorative study explores the readiness and challenges faced by Indonesian junior high school (SMP/MTs) student in solving HOTs type mathematics test using Islamic context. Data were collected from a test-based open-ended questionnaire distributed to 164 students in the 8th of five schools in Sidoarjo East Java comprising 2 junior madrasas (Islamic schools), 2 Islamic-based junior high schools and 1 public junior high school. Descriptive analysis using SPSS and categorization of responses (referring to response options in the questionnaire such as have ever-never, necessary-unnecessary, answered-not answered, etc) show that considering their experience, the students are “less ready” to face HOTs type mathematics test. However, students expect that they can be given more practices in doing HOTs type mathematics questions to help them get accustomed to this type of question. Being unaccustomed to non-routine and lengthy questions, lazy trait and being unfamiliar to Islamic terms used as the context of the question becomes the challenges for the students in facing HOTs type mathematics test.

Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) memiliki peran sentral dalam membentuk karakter dan moral siswa, terutama di era digital yang serba Kompleks ini. Dalam konteks ini, pengembangan model pembelajaran kooperatif menjadi suatu kebutuhan mendesak untuk merespons tantangan dan peluang yang ditawarkan oleh era digital. Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang memegang peranan penting dalam membentuk karakter dan moralitas siswa. Namun, dalam menghadapi era digital yang terus berkembang, tantangan baru muncul dalam upaya memastikan pembelajaran PAI tetap relevan dan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di era digital. Melalui kajian literatur dan penelitian, kami mengidentifikasi prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran kooperatif yang relevan dan mengintegrasikan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) ke dalam model pembelajaran tersebut. Model yang diusulkan ini adalah kompresi kolaborasi antar siswa, partisipasi aktif, pemanfaatan sumber daya digital, dan evaluasi berbasis teknologi. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah penerapan modelp embelajaran kooperatif dalam PAI yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi digital memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap kualitas pendidikan. Hal ini tidak hanya meningkatkan hasil akademik tetapi juga menanamkan nilai-nilai Islami secara efektif. Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah memperluas model implementasi ini ke berbagai tingkat pendidikan dan memberikan pelatihan yang memadai bagi para pendidik dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital secara optimal. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran PAI dapat lebih responsif terhadap tantangan dan peluang di era digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis; 1) Konsep Project Based Learning (PjBL) dan blended learning serta, 2) Untuk mengetahui sejauh mana konsep tersebut jika diterapkan pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan agama Islam. Project Based Learning (PjBL) merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk diterapkan pada blended learning. Untuk mencapai tujuannya, penelitian ini mendeskripsikan secara konseptual tentang pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan paradigma pendidikan dari techer-centered learning menuju student-centered learning melalui pembelajaran campuran. Melalui analisis konsep Project Based Learning dan blended learning dengan dipadukan dengan mata pelajaran Agama Islam, tentunya akan membangun konstruk keterkaitan antar konsep pembelajaran Project Based Learning yang diterapkan dengan blended learning. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan merupakan studi pustaka atau penelitian kepustakaan, yang bergantung pada macam-macam sumber rujukan, seperti buku, jurnal yang terkait dan penelitian terdahulu. Penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran ini memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) sebagai media utama dalam proses pengajaran dalam berbagai bentuk digital platform yang telah berkembang hingga saat ini. Sedangkan hasil penelitian dengan dibantu platform online maupun aplikasi berupa Moodle serta berprojek poster, vlog dan konten sosial media memalui kampanye “#RespectChallenge”, tentunya pembelajaran dengan model Projek Based Learning yang dilakukan secara Blended pada PAI akan efektif. Sedangkan pembelajaran campuran melibatkan tatap muka dan online, tentunya keduanya digunakan untuk saling melengkapi sehingga dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menarik.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how project based learning (PjBL) is implemented and its impact in forming 21st century skills, especially in Islamic Religious Education with a contextual approach. This research is library research where the author collects, identifies, analyzes and interprets journals and books that are relevant to the writing topic. Data was analyzed using three stages, namely data condensation, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this paper show that learning in the 21st century has an important role not only in developing cognitive abilities, but also in developing 4C skills. The aim is for students not only to master the knowledge aspect, but also to have competence in the attitude and skill aspects, so that they are ready to compete in the development era of the 21st century. Overall, PjBL not only helps students understand the material in depth but also trains 21st century skills, namely critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity. Apart from that, the integration of PjBL with a contextual approach makes learning Islamic Religious Education more meaningful, because students can relate the lesson material to Islamic religious values that are applied in everyday life.

it because this science studies about sharia, siyasah, mamalah, ubudiyah, akhwal syaksiyah. Moreover, in matters of worship such as prayer, teachers should be able to correlate this with science. So that students can understand it completely by using their reason and faith in learning something. In the implementation of learning in the classroom, it was found that the value of the learning outcomes of Fiqh in class III decreased. Therefore, the teacher used a snowball throwing model of learning integrated with science to improve the learning outcomes of Fiqh in class III MI Hidayatullah, Blitar City. This study uses a quantitative method with descriptive data analysis and the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study were that 22 students out of 25 students in class III experienced an increase in their scores on the post-test. While the other 3 students still got the same score during the post-test. The average result of the fiqh score before being given treatment with the science-integrated snowball throwing method was 58.40 while the average score after being given treatment was 84.20. In the average section, the increase in the score was 11.50 and the number of positive rankings (Sum Ranks) was 253.00.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic, for the past two years, has significantly impacted the world of education. Educational institutions carry out various innovations in the learning process. Innovations in this learning model can still be applied in normal times, such as face-to-face learning. This study uses a qualitative approach to determine the android-based asynchronous learning model in Islamic religious education (PAI) learning at Nurul Anwar Islamic Middle School Pasuruan. Data collection techniques using interviews with subject teachers and students and observation. The study results explain that asynchronous learning based on android WhatsApp at Islamic Junior High School (SMP Islam) Nurul Anwar Pasuruan can be appropriately implemented because it is supported by each student's gadget facilities and positive responses to student activity during the learning process. Asynchronous learning as an optional supplement and a complement to face-to-face learning help PAI teachers distribute materials or assignments that students can access through their respective gadgets and WhatsApp applications. Teachers feel that with this asynchronous learning, PAI learning becomes more effective.

Abstract

In this digital era, Information and Communication Technology plays a crucial role in the world of education, which requires an educator to be able to combine and utilize information and communication technology in the learning process. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using Google Form as an evaluation media in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in class X SMA Nahdlatul Athfal Bangkalan. The research method used is quantitative-descriptive involving 10 students of class X B as research subjects. Data were collected through interviews, documentation, and questionnaires containing 16 questions about students' experiences in using Google Form for evaluation. The results of the study showed that the use of Google Form in PAI evaluation helps students understand the material, makes the learning process more interesting, and increases learning motivation. Evaluation with Google Form is also considered more efficient and can reduce the level of cheating during exams. These findings suggest that Google Form is an effective and practical tool to use in learning evaluation in the digital era.
