Abstract

intends to find out how the communication process used by the teacher in the teaching and learning process, the forms of communication and communication approaches that the teacher makes towards students. By involving 3 basic informants and 7 supporting informants, namely teachers and parents of students who often monitor their children at school. This study uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques using observation, in-depth interviews, and document studies as well as descriptive data analysis techniques with percentages. The formulation of the problem of this research is how is the role of the teacher's interpersonal communication in increasing children's knowledge. Based on the results of the existing research and discussion, what can be concluded in this study regarding the Role of Teacher Interpersonal Communication in Improving Children's Knowledge are as follows: (1). Overall, the role of teacher interpersonal communication in increasing children's knowledge is quite good. (2). The language used by the teacher is very appropriate in communicating with their students. (3). Non-verbal communication carried out by the teacher in interacting with his students is by using movements, additional objects, gestures, facial expressions and symbols, and various sound intonations. (4). The messages conveyed in teacher-student interpersonal communication are more about the concept of the lesson and also motivate students to more quickly understand what the teacher means.

Abstract

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF YOUTUBE-BASED FAIRY TALE LISTENING LEARNING IN SUNDANESE LANGUAGE AND CULTURE LEARNING Abstract. Sundanese fairy tales are part of Indonesian oral tradition and literature that are told by word of mouth so that they have the advantage of being delivered in everyday language so that listeners understand what is being conveyed better. However, on the other hand, the quality of the storyteller's understanding of the content, meaning, and interpretation of fairy tales can be reduced because of their oral nature. Fairy tale listeners as an important part of the oral tradition also experience changes in orientation due to technology and generational shifts, including in Sundanese families. So, if this condition is left unchecked, it is not impossible that oral fairy tale literature will lose its supporters and eventually become extinct. Information technology, especially mobile communication technology, is an inseparable part of the society that supports this fairy tale literature. This rapid technological development, including tablet computers, can be used as an opportunity to make efforts to revitalize fairy tale culture in the next generation of supporters. This research is motivated by the lack of knowledge of students in listening to fairy tales in the Sundanese Language and Culture Learning course. Therefore, this study aims to examine students' ability to listen to fairy tales effectively on YouTube media in the Sundanese Language and Culture Learning course. This research uses a quantitative approach. The method used is an experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design. The data source in the study was students who taught the Sundanese Language and Culture Learning course, totaling 68 students. The Technology Readiness Level states relevant facts and basic arguments ready to support the need for this study. The hypothesis, initial support, RD design to be carried out have been explored, then the methodology, procedures and stages to be carried out have been explored. This study was designed with the adequacy and completeness of the data to be determined, with technical evaluation and prediction of the results to be carried out. The results of the study can be concluded into several things: The ability to listen to stories of PGSD students before using YouTube media was less than satisfactory. Because of the 68 students who had just understood the contents of the fairy tale, only 10.68% listened, so a study was conducted using YouTube media in order to improve the value in learning to listen to fairy tales. After using YouTube media, the ability to listen to fairy tales of students from 68 students who understood the contents of the fairy tales they had listened to was 44.82%. So the influence of YouTube media on the ability to listen to fairy tales of PGSD students on the learning outcomes of listening to fairy tales before and after using YouTube media can improve the ability to listen to fairy tales.

Abstract

The phenomenon of closing cinemas during the Covid-19 pandemic changed the kebiasaans of some people in watching films. In the current new normal era, cinemas are gradually recovering to attract interest in watching amidst the rise of video streaming. This study aims to analyze the marketing communication strategy using Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) at the Platinum Cineplex Cibinong Square cinema in attracting interest in watching amidst the rise of video streaming and to find out what obstacles and solutions are encountered in implementing the integrated marketing communication component. This research combines emic and etic perspectives. The data collection technique in this study was by conducting in-depth interviews, field observations, and checking the validity of the data using source triangulation.. The results in this study indicate that the integrated marketing communication strategy at the Platinum Cineplex Cibinong Square cinema in attracting interest in watching amidst the rise of video streaming uses eight promotion mix components, namely, (1) direct marketing, (2) sales promotion, (3) public relationss, (4) personal selling, (5) advertising, (6) word of mouth marketing, (7) events and experiences, (8) interactive marketing.

Abstract

Communication is a social event, an event that occurs when someone relates to others either face to face or using media as a means of communication. In order to understand the condition of an individual, the ability to communicate persuasively is needed. Lecturers and students observe the condition of the target school and create a literacy and numeracy program that will be implemented in the assigned school. The implementation of the program that has been planned since the beginning of the assignment cannot be separated from persuasive communication in implementing the program. Field supervisors and students need persuasive communication techniques so that the programs that have been released in the assigned school, literacy and numeracy in the modern era, are very easy to apply in the surrounding environment with the help of technology from several planned programs. This study aims to analyze the persuasive communication techniques used by field supervisors and students in the Kampus Mengajar program to improve literacy and numeracy in the 3T area. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study was conducted through interviews, FGDs, and observations of lecturers and students at Pakuan University and students at the target school. The results showed that the five persuasive communication techniques used included association, integration, reward, arrangement, and red-herring techniques. Each technique has its own challenges and effectiveness in practice in the field. Communication barriers were identified in the form of technical (facilities) and behavior (lack of student learning motivation). This study concluded that the use of persuasive communication techniques can significantly increase student participation in literacy and numeracy activities, as long as it is supported by appropriate and contextual implementation strategies.

Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF TEACHERS' INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION IN IMPROVING STUDENT DISCIPLINETeachers have an important role in determining the success in influencing their students to improve discipline, closely related to the character inherent in the teacher himself. The purpose of this study is to determine how the influence of teacher interpersonal communication on the formation of student discipline. This study is a qualitative study, which uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were 5 teachers and 60 students. Data collection was carried out by interviews, questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that communication between teachers and students has not been running optimally in improving discipline. The factor behind this problem is the level of understanding between teachers and students regarding the importance of communication in the teaching and learning process is still low. So a teacher must continue to be able to improve his ability to convey his learning messages to students, without forgetting to involve all existing components, so that an understanding is built between teachers and students in order to achieve the goals of the teaching and learning process and pay attention to several inhibiting factors of the communication, namely, teachers as communicators, subject matter, media, students, effects, environment, feedback, and methods. Interpersonal communication between teachers and students can also change students' attitudes to be disciplined and can develop a disciplined attitude. This shows that interpersonal communication between teachers and students has a positive effect on student discipline.

Abstract

Tailoring Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) or often called Tailors experienced an extraordinary economic downturn during the Covid-19 pandemic. Convection innovation as a form of existence in the midst of a pandemic outbreak that still exists today to survive must carry out various kinds of creativity. One of them is digitizing the marketing system, updating fashion trends, increasing relationships, providing the best service, collaborating with agencies, and others. In this service the focus is on digitizing the system and developing the concept of relations using the graph theory concept to increase competitiveness. The location of the service will be focused on one of the tailors, namely Sarinah Tailor in Kedunghalang Village, North Bogor District.

Abstract

This study examines Pakuan University's scholarly output from 2010 to 2024 using Scopus data. The investigation encompassed research productivity, trends, subject areas, publication sources, author contributions, and collaborative efforts. Pakuan University produced 685 papers, with Scopus publications showing rapid growth, with a 32.7% yearly increase. An average citation count of 3,867 per document suggests a moderate impact. Among 1,780 contributing authors, only 12 papers were single-authored, emphasising the prevalence of collaborative research. The primary research domains include Engineering, Physics and Astronomy, Environmental Sciences, Social Science, and Computer Science. Recent research has focused on topics such as in silico, sustainability, job satisfaction, and smart villages. The main publication outlets are conference proceedings and journals, notably the IOP Conference Series, AIP Conference Proceedings, International Journal of Recent Technology and Engineering, and Journal of Engineering Science and Technology. The five most productive authors are Anna Permanasari, Diana Widiastuti, Eneng Tita Tosida, Johan Iskandar and Mochamad Yunus, whilst the most influential are Anna Permanasari, Diana Widiastuti, Eneng Tita Tosida and Dolly Priatna. The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) leads in contributions, followed by the postgraduate school and the faculty of engineering. Collaborative publications are predominantly from Indonesian institutions, such as the Indonesian Education University and IPB University, with international partnerships including Japan, Malaysia, and China.

Abstract

This research is aimed to identify the effects of the intensity of watching the programs of iLook NET TV show on youth behavior in clothing. The purpose of this study is to find out how the intensity of watching the programs iLook shows teenagers in their attire in the school of SMK Negeri 3 Kota Bogor. This research uses X variables in watching intensity and Y variables in behavior. This study is using quantitative methods. The population of this research is sophomores XII SMK Negeri 3 Kota Bogor. This study included 92 people. The data collection techniques used in this study were mainly from questionnaires and observations. The technique used non probability sampling. The research agrees with thehypotheses on sthe study, it states that there is a influence between the intensity of the watch on teenagers behavior. Based on a test of relationship strength of 0,381, it can be said that the intensity of the relationship is judged to be very strong and comes out that the intensity of watching the iLook program has an influence on teenagers behavior by 0,145 while the rest (100% - 14,5% ) is 85,5 rated by another factor.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse how the communication strategy is applied in socializing the Child Identity Card program. The study was conducted at the Population and Civil Registry Office of Bogor Regency and Cibinong District Region. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive study using two concepts, namely the communication strategy concept of R. Wayne, et al in Effendy and communication strategy barriers Ruslan. The results of this study note that the communication strategy step adopted pays attention to all components in communication. Even so, the results of the study showed that the socialization of the Childrens Identity Card program was still included in the Dukcapil program of the Indonesian Movement to be Aware of Population Administration so that for the childs own identity card program currently the emphasis was on online media and the service went directly to the community. The process of achieving a communication strategy can be said to be good even though it is still not evenly distributed as a whole in the district of Bogor because there are still people who do not know the socialization carried out and are aware of the importance of the Child Identity Card program.

Abstract

The aims of this study are determine the level of awareness of the Kelurahaan Baranangsiang community brand and to find out how the level of brand awareness influences the community purchasing decisions of Baranangsing Village towards Traveloka E-commerce. The method used in this study was descriptive quantitative using survey research. This research was conducted in Kelurahaan Baranangsiang, East Bogor District, Bogor City with a total of 100 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study is a non probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling method. Quantitative data is presented in the form of a frequency table. Statistical tests were carried out with the help of the SPSS version 25.0 program. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the level of brand awareness of the Baranangsiang Kelurahan community was dominated by people with brand awareness at the brand recognition level. It can be concluded that brand awareness has an influence but the influence given is not too significant. But at the peak level of mind towards the level of awareness of the Traveloka brand weakening, which shows that the peak of one's mind can change along with the development of E-commerce that exists today.  Keywords: E-Commerce, Traveloka, Brand Awareness Level, Purchasing Decision.
