Abstract

Livestock activities carried out by the Baluk village community with a minimum number of livestock in each family of 2 cows and pigs have the potential to develop new and renewable energy systems, in this case household-scale biogas energy. Thus each household can produce energy for their daily needs. Optimization and cost efficiency with the introduction and application of biogas/portable biogas digester technology by utilizing cow dung as a daily energy source is the focus of this service. A portable anaerobic digester was prepared in this work as a solution. Its capacity is around 500 liters making it suitable for household scale livestock manure processing. The material used for the digester is stainless steel 304. The digester is equipped with an agitator to optimize biogas production. Cow dung slurry (50% cow dung + 50% water) is used to feed the digester. There are 2 variations of the slurry loading speed carried out in this work, namely 5 liters/day slurry and 10 liters/day slurry. The biogas production rate is around 51.7 liters of biogas/day if filled with 5 liters/day of slurry. The biogas production rate was found to increase significantly to 82 liters of biogas/day if filled with 10 liters/day of slurry. So to overcome community problems and in carrying out solutions to village problems, several methods are used, including: counseling methods, mentoring methods, mutual cooperation methods, methods of applying appropriate technology, and pilot methods. Abstract

Abon is one of the people's favorite menus made from shredded chicken or beef. This reality has led to the development of many shredded products with various raw materials, such as shredded eel, shredded fish, shredded shrimp, shredded catfish, and even shredded eggs. The model for develo ping shredded eggs from egg raw materials was eyed by a women's business group in Baluk village, Negara sub - district, Jembrana district. The business group in question is the Women Farmers Group (KWT) Pitik Jaya, which began in 2014 by experimenting with their unique product, shredded eggs. The business of making shredded eggs is actually quite prospective because the egg raw materials are produced by the KWT itself. However, this group has problems related to productivity and efficiency, namely in the process of draining shredded oil which is still conventionally done by simply placing shredded coconut on aerated niru. Efforts to overcome the existing problems are carried out by replacing conventional equipment with spinner machines. This machine is multi-functional and is built by a dedicated team so that it can also be used for other product oil extraction. The result of the activity was that the team succeeded in designing and manufacturing a multi-function shredded oil spinner machine with a capacity of 420 eggs per day, so that the use of this machine increased the quality of shredded eggs produced by KWT Pitik Jaya and increased productivity by up to 450%. Abstract

UD Ayu Dewata Jamur is an oyster mushroom cultivation business located in the Tegehe banjar of BatubulanGianyar village. Oyster mushroom production is simply packaged in a 1 kg plastic bag. This business has problems related to efficiency and productivity caused by unsuitable temperature and humidity of the incubation chamber for messelium. The manager of oyster mushroom cultivation does not have enough skills yet and educational background are still low. The aim and outcome of this activity is to produce a mechanized process of regulating the temperature and humidity of the messelium growth chamber, which is equipped with semi-automatic water or mist spraying. Besides that the team also provided knowledge about management, work safety and product quality control in relation to the application of this mechanization. The method that offered in this program is to design and install a semi-automatic spray mechanization that is also equipped with an indicator of temperature and humidity. Activities in the partners was carried on August 25, 2019, August 30, 2019, and September 2, 2019 at the UD Ayu Dewata Jamur oyster mushroom cultivation in Batubulan village, Sukawati district, Gianyar, Bali. The initial activity begins with cleaning and preparing the installation place for mechanized spray installation of water or mist. Next is the installation and testing of a water or mist spraying system. Monitoring activities carried out on October 2, 2019, and obtained by oyster mushrooms growing very well. Abstract

PT Karya Pak Oles Tokcer Group Bali is a pharmaceutical company that sells bokashi balm products in the Bali area. However, this product has faced several problems in the ups and downs of demand. This causes a decrease in the quality of raw materials and the large savings costs incurred by the company. Therefore, this research was carried out to forecast demand for bokashi balm products for 1 year and know the most optimal lot-sizing technique for determining the planning and controlling of raw material supplies. This research was conducted using ABC analysis, demand forecasting, and supply planning analysis using the Lot for Lot, Silver Meal, and Least Unit Cost methods. Based on the research, it was found that forecasting results for bokashi balm products measuring 15 grams and 7.5 grams using the Moving Average method for the ninth and eighth periods were the best results. Then from the results of the ABC analysis, it was found that for the 15-gram bokashi balm product, the raw materials belonged to category A, namely packaging boxes, pot lids, pots, and top and bottom labels. In contrast, for the 7.5-gram product, there were raw materials in the form of packaging boxes, lids pots, pots, top and bottom labels, and bulbs. Raw materials belonging to group A will then be calculated using the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method. Then after calculating using 3 lot sizing methods, the Lot for Lot (LFL) method was chosen because it has the smallest total cost value, namely the 15-gram bokashi balm product of IDR 2,306,369 and the 7.5-gram bokashi balm product in the amount of IDR 4,079,780.

Abstract

Listrik merupakan kebutuhan primer bagi setiap lapisan masyarakat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sama halnya seperti PLTA Lau Gunung yang membutuhkan pasokan listrik untuk beroperasi. Perawatan pada fasilitas produksi yang digunakan merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam upaya mencegah terjadinya downtime, serta menjaga kualitas dan kuantitas produk yang dihasilkan oleh PLTA Lau Gunung. Metode Total Productive Maintenance dengan perhitungan Overall Equipment Effectiveness dapat membantu perusahaan dalam mengetahui nilai aktual efektivitas mesin dan peralatan yang digunakan, serta menentukan tindakan perbaikan (improvement), yaitu pola maintenance seperti apa yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengurangi downtimeberdasarkan nilai efektivitas dari mesin atau peralatan yang digunakan. Setelah mendapatkan data produksi selama 5 semester dan berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Overall Equipment Effectiveness, didapati hasil perhitungan availability sebesar 83%, performance sebesar 81%, quality sebesar 76%, dan nilai OEE sebesar 51% yang berarti masih dibawah standar menurut JIPM. Selanjutnya, dengan metode Six Big Losses diketahui bahwa Reduced Speed Loss merupakan penyumbang downtime terbesar. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan kedua metode tersebut, maka hasil penelitian ini adalah usulan rekomendasi perbaikan berupa tindakan perawatan maintenance seperti apa yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan OEE dan mencegah terjadinya downtime.

Abstract

Comfortable work can make it easier for employees to work. Good working processes can improve company performance and employees will work comfortably in their jobs. The noodle dryer currently used in industry X has employees complaining of pain in their body parts. Based on data collection in the Nordic Body Map form, this complaint arose due to the inappropriate height of the noodle hangers on the trolley. This research aims to reduce the level of complaints from workers by redesigning the noodle drying trolley in Industry X. This research uses an anthropometric approach to redesign and obtain an ergonomic trolley height. The trolley redesign is based on calculating percentile data to obtain a more ergonomic trolley height. After calculating the proper height of the trolley using the worker’s body height, the result of the ergonomic trolley height is 163.4 cm. These results are then applied to the new trolley height, until the height of the trolley adjusts to the body height of the workers, thereby reducing the level of worker complaints. The results obtained in this study were a reduction in complaints from 26 to 4 complaints (reduction by 84.61%).

Abstract

Konsumen sangat mempertimbangkan kualitas saat memilih banyak produk. Peningkatan kualitas dalam dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode seven tools. Industri beras menjalankan berbagai proses untuk memastikan bahwa produk yang dihasilkan tidak memiliki kecacatan. Salah satu proses ini adalah pengendalian kualitas. Control chart menunjukkan bahwa meskipun proses produksi masih dalam batas kendali, ada peluang untuk menurunkan standar kecacatan lebih lanjut. Hasil diagram pareto jenis kecacatan yang sering terjadi adalah kotoran pada beras diikuti bulir beras remuk dan kemasan rusak. Fishbone diagram bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor utama kecacatan produk. Terdapat empat faktor utama yaitu manusia, mesin, metode, dan material. Rekomendasi solusi yang diberikan berdasarkan hasil dari analiasis diagram fishbone meliputi peningkatan pelatihan dan pengawasan untuk karyawan, pemeliharaan preventif dan perbaikan rutin untuk peralatan, standarisasi prosedur pengemasan dan pemilihan bahan baku, serta penyimpanan yang tepat dan pengujian kualitas bahan baku dan kemasan. Implementasi solusi ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi tingkat cacat produk, meningkatkan kualitas produk, dan meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan.

Abstract

The high level of competition in the food industry, especially in the MSME sector, requires producers to maintain product quality in order to meet consumer expectations. Pak Enik Tempe Factory as one of the MSMEs in Badung Regency, Bali, experiences problems related to high levels of defective products which have an impact on decreasing quality and customer satisfaction. This study aims to analyze quality control using the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) approach. Data collection was carried out during the period 1 December 2024 - 31 January 2025 using observation and interview methods. The tools used in the SQC method include: check sheets, flowcharts, histograms, scatter diagrams, Pareto diagrams, control charts, and fishbone diagrams. The results of the study showed that the most common types of defects were non-dense textures and black spots caused by human factors, work methods, materials, and machines. Through the Pareto Diagram, it is known that these two types of defects contribute 75% of the total product defects. Control Chart analysis shows that most of the production processes are still within control limits even though there are deviations at several points. The use of Fishbone Diagrams helps identify the root cause of major defects. The output of this research is in the form of recommendations for improving the production system so that the quality of tempeh increases and the number of defective products can be minimized. This research is expected to provide a real contribution in the development of a quality control system in MSMEs based on tempeh production.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat beban kerja mental dan reaction time, serta memberikan solusi perbaikan berdasarkan analisis perhitungan kepada karyawan Departemen Niaga PT X. Pengolahan data dilakukan uji normalitas dari data Nasa-TLX dan waktu reaksi disimpulkan bahwa kedua data tersebut dikategorikan berdistribusi normal oleh karena itu, uji korelasi dihitung dengan menggunakan metode Pearson’s Correlation setelah dilakukan uji korelasi menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS mendapatkan nilai 0,95 yang berarti nilai koefisiennya positif, maka semakin kuat hubungan antara variabel X dan Y. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 25 responden terdapat 20 responden mengalami beban kerja mental yang tinggi dan 5 responden mengalami beban kerja yang sedang. Indikator yang yang paling berpengaruh diantaranya tingkat usaha, kebutuhan waktu, kebutuhan mental, kebutuhan fisik, frustasi dan performansi. Adapun hasil dari test waktu reaksi yaitu waktu reaksi tercepat adalah 216 milidetik dan rata-rata waktu reaksi terlama adalah 987 milidetik. Beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan beban kerja yang tinggi dikarenakan adanya beban kognitif yang tinggi, tingkat stress dan tekanan psikologis, kurangnya waktu istirahat hal ini dapat mengakibatkan menurunnya kinerja dan berpotensi.

Abstract

UMKM Kusukangemil is one of the UMKMs that sells basreng products in Denpasar. Currently, the packaging design for the basreng products used is quite simple, making it difficult for the product to compete in the market. To increase competitiveness, a redesign of the product packaging is required to make it more attractive and innovative. This study aims to determine consumer preferences for basreng product packaging using the Kansei Engineering method, and to design the basreng product packaging based on these consumer preferences. The Kansei Engineering method is used in this study because it can interpret consumers' emotional responses and needs toward a product or concept. Through this approach, Kansei Words were collected through a questionnaire given to 50 respondents. These words were then analyzed to determine the most desired design elements by consumers. The results of the study indicate that consumers want basreng product packaging to be colorful, made of food-grade material, include expiration date and composition information, BPOM certification, be vertical in shape, made of thick material, be in the form of a bag, have motifs, halal certification, include address and social media information, and use bold fonts. Based on these results, two packaging design concepts were developed and selected based on consumer preferences. The resulting packaging design is expected to increase the attractiveness of UMKM Kusukangemil’s basreng products, making them more competitive in the market. Additionally, good packaging design is also expected to represent a quality product image and increase sales.
