Abstract

This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection and data sources were determined by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out through data collection, reduction, presentation and conclusion. Then, to obtain the validity of the data in this research, the researcher used triangulation techniques. The research results show that the State High School in Barito Kuala has implemented an independent curriculum. Learning and assessment have been carried out in an integrated manner. In history learning, teachers use assessments to measure the achievement of learning objectives. Three types of assessments are used: diagnostic, formative, and summative. The assessment results are used as a basis for assessing students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects, as well as reflective material for teachers to use in determining subsequent learning strategies.

Abstract

Literasi sejarah, salah satu jalur yang dapat diambil untuk memberikan pembelajaran sejarah yang kontekstual dan bermakna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penguatan literasi sejarah melalui penerapan penilaian autentik dalam pembelajaran sejarah di SMAN 5 Kota Banjarmasin. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sumber data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjeknya adalah guru sejarah dan siswa kelas X. Untuk analisis data, teknik berdasarkan Miles dan Huberman: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, presentasi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasilnya adalah bahwa pembelajaran sejarah dengan penilaian autentik dapat menjembatani siswa menjadi melek sejarah. Guru menekankan pentingnya memberikan penilaian berbasis proses yang autentik (penilaian formatif) dengan berbagai aspek, seperti kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor. Dalam penerapannya, hal ini dapat mengakomodasi keterampilan berpikir sejarah tingkat tinggi. Adanya penilaian autentik dengan menghadirkan strategi untuk memperkuat literasi sejarah menciptakan pembelajaran yang bermakna bagi siswa di SMAN 5 Banjarmasin.

Abstract

History learning in the digital era requires teachers to adapt their teaching strategies to the characteristics of students who are accustomed to technological environments. This study aims to examine the challenges and strategies of history teachers in utilizing digital learning media at SMKN 1 Banjarmasin. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Informants consisted of two history teachers and ten students from grades X and XI who were directly involved in digital-based learning practices. The findings identified four main challenges: limited technological infrastructure, low digital competence among teachers, psychological barriers such as anxiety over technical disruptions, and time constraints due to administrative burdens. The strategies implemented by teachers included self-directed learning through online resources, peer collaboration, involving students in technical support, and using easily accessible digital media. In addition, some teachers integrated digital media with interactive methods such as quizzes and historical role-playing. These findings indicate that teachers are still able to innovate despite existing limitations. Future researchers are advised to further examine the effectiveness of these strategies on learning outcomes.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan keterampilan penting yang harus dimiliki peserta didik untuk menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21. Tantangan pendidikan abad ke-21 menuntut siswa memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis yang tidak hanya berfokus pada penerimaan informasi, tetapi juga pada kemampuan menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan menarik kesimpulan logis dalam setiap pembelajaran. Namun, fakta di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran sejarah di SMAN 1 Martapura masih dominan berpusat pada guru sehingga siswa kurang terlatih mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis secara optimal, tercermin dari rendahnya partisipasi dalam diskusi maupun penyelesaian soal terbuka. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, penelitian ini berfokus pada pengaruh penggunaan pertanyaan pemantik sebagai strategi pembelajaran terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experiment posttest-only control group, melibatkan dua kelas sebagai sampel, yakni kelas eksperimen dengan perlakuan pertanyaan pemantik dan kelas kontrol tanpa perlakuan. Hasil analisis uji-t menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan rata-rata nilai posttest antara kelas eksperimen (85,00) dan kontrol (74,17), dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pertanyaan pemantik efektif dalam mendorong siswa berpikir lebih logis, analitis, dan reflektif. Sebagaimana ditegaskan oleh Zubaidah (2016), pertanyaan pemantik berfungsi bukan hanya membangkitkan rasa ingin tahu, melainkan juga merangsang keterlibatan siswa untuk mengeksplorasi konsep secara mendalam, mempertanyakan asumsi, serta mengaitkan materi pembelajaran dengan konteks yang lebih luas. Dengan demikian, penggunaan pertanyaan pemantik dapat dipandang sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, khususnya dalam pembelajaran sejarah.

Abstract

Purun Village is one of the climate villages formed by the government and represented by the Head of Palam, Agus Adrian on July 1, 2016. This study aims to determine the beginning of the establishment of Purun Village in Banjarbaru City and the development of the economic life of the community in Purun Village since 2010-2023. This study uses a historical method, which consists of four stages, namely the first heuristic, the second source criticism, the third interpretation, and the fourth historiography. The results of the study show that before the existence of Purun Village, the community there had been carrying out purun weaving activities even though only in the form of baskets and purun mats, after the formation of Purun Village in July 2016, more and more craftsmen participated in weaving purun. Purun Village has become a village that can support the economy of craftsmen with sales not only limited to the surrounding area but has spread internationally. The conclusion obtained is that over time, Purun Village has developed to foreign countries, thanks to the persistence of the female purun craftsmen and the encouragement from the Banjarbaru government which has greatly influenced the development of Purun Village, Palam Subdistrict.

Abstract

The behavior of tourists in throwing rubbish in the Sombs Opu fort area is the cause of the decline in the aesthetic value of the environment. This research aims to analyze tourist behavior in throwing away rubbish in the Somba Opu fort area with the hope that tourists can better understand the problem of environmental pollution. This research uses a description method carried out through a survey with a data collection method using a questionnaire. The research location is the Somba Opu fort area with the research sample being tourists from the Somba Opu fort, Barombong District, Gowa Regency, Makassar City, totaling 30 people. Then the research data was analyzed to determine the behavior of tourists throwing rubbish in the Somba Opu fort area with the research results from highest to lowest being an attitude indicator of 87%, a knowledge indicator of 80%, and an infrastructure indicator of 63%. Research results show that this is due to tourists' lack of awareness of the risks posed by waste that is disposed of inappropriately. The high level of tourist knowledge cannot be a benchmark for awareness of maintaining the beauty of the Somba Opu fort area.

Abstract

This study examines the complexity of educational challenges in Swarangan, a coastal village with 230 fishing households and 47 fishermen. Employing a qualitative approach through field observations and in-depth interviews, the research uncovers factors influencing low adolescent educational participation. Key findings reveal that infrastructure limitations, a 12-kilometer distance to the nearest high school, and poor road conditions significantly diminish motivation to continue education. A socioeconomic disparity is identified between prosperous seafood processors and economically constrained fishermen. The educational system faces structural challenges, with all educators originating from outside the village and an absenteeism rate 15% higher compared to schools with better infrastructure access. Adolescents tend to choose working as fishermen, with potential monthly earnings of 3-4 million rupiah. The research recommends a comprehensive approach through infrastructure improvement, strengthening teacher incentives, developing alternative economic empowerment programs, and initiating community-based education to create an inclusive educational ecosystem in coastal villages.

Abstract

Transformasi perspektif, dan akses pengetahuan di era digital menghadirkan tantangan tersendiri pada pembelajaran sejarah di sekolah. Pola komunikasi dan keaktifan peserta didik masih dinilai pasif. Maka, tanpa kemampuan literasi sejarah yang tepat, peserta didik berisiko pada misinformasi dan distorsi narasi sejarah yang ahistoris. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan, tantangan dan strategi guru dalam membangun komunikasi efektif melalui penguatan literasi sejarah di SMAN1 Martapura. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui studi dokumen, observasi, dan wawancara mendalam kepada guru dan peserta didik kelas XI dan XII. Uji keabsahan data melalui teknik triangulasi sumber dan waktu kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif interpretatif dengan langkah reduksi, penyajian data, serta diakhiri dengan membuat simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan, literasi sejarah di SMAN1 Martapura telah berjalan dengan baik dan diintegrasikan pada kegiatan intrakurikuler maupun kokurikuler seperti Jumat Literasi dan pojok literasi sejarah. Kendala yang ditemui ialah rendahnya minat baca, dominasi budaya populer Gen Z, serta beban administratif guru yang tinggi. Strategi yang dilakukan guru ialah pendekatan partisipatif dengan pemanfaatan media digital, pembelajaran berbasis proyek, serta eksplorasi sejarah lokal. Penguatan literasi sejarah sebagai sarana komunikasi edukatif memiliki implikasi luas bagi dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam membentuk generasi muda yang berkarakter, kritis, dan sadar sejarah.
