Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze how students' problem solving abilities in working on mathematical problems, especially in the matter of absolute value equality. The subjects in this study were students of class XA MA Al-Barry in West Bandung. The Instsrumen used consists of written tests in the form of essay questions, namely from the four problem solving indicators into 5 questions. This research method uses descriptive qualitative analysis with case studies, so that researchers can see the mistakes students can make while working on the problem. Processing data is calculated in the form of percent to find out the extent of the achievement of indicators of problem solving ability. Data achievement indicators understand the problem of 98.75%, plan completion of 70.5%, resolve problems 82.2%, and check answers 53.07% .

Abstract

This study aims to analyze self-confidence in learning mathematics through a constructivism approach assisted by geogebraic applications. The research method used descriptive qualitative with the population of all students of SMPN 4 Ngamprah. The sample used was 32 students in class VIID on triangular triangle material. The instrument used is a scale of self-confidence with 25 questions that have positive responses or negative responses. The self-confidence scale is used to find responses from respondents to students' self-confidence in mathematics learning in triangle triangle material using a constructivism approach assisted by geogebraic applications. The results of this study show that the level of self-confidence of students in triangle triangle material with the help of geogebra applications shows positive results with a response rate of 61%. The average is obtained by each indicator of the confidence questionnaire that has been given to each respondent

Abstract

This study aims to analyze student learning interest through geogebra application. The research method uses descriptive qualitative with a population of all MA students in West Bandung Regency. The samples used were 29th grade students of Mia Al-Mubarok as many as 29 students in basic statistical material. The instrument used is the Learning Interest Scale with 20 statements that have positive and negative responses about learning using the geogebra application. The learning interest scale is used to look for responses from respondents to the interest in learning from high school / MA students in statistical material whose learning uses the scientific approach using geogebra applications. The results of this study indicate that students' learning interest in statistical material with geogebra application media showed positive results with the average response showing a strong category with a percentage of 63.27%. The average is obtained from data on each indicator of student learning interest.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning with the help of Geogebra on improving the mathematical problem solving abilities of middle school students. The research method used simple linear regression analysis with IBM SPSS 20 and research design with The One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. The place of research was conducted in one of the Cimahi city junior high schools in class VIII even semester 2018-2019. The subject of this study was class VIII B students on circle material. The instrument of this study is a test of the problem of problem solving ability. The results of the study showed that there was a significant positive effect between learning with Geogebra's assistance on the improvement of junior high school students' mathematical problem solving abilities

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze how students' mathematical creative thinking skills in working on mathematical problems, especially in triangular and quadrilateral material. The subjects of this study were students of class VII C at Darul Falah junior high school Cihampelas, West Bandung Regency. The instruments used were written tests in the form of essays which numbered 5 questions and consisted of 4 indicators of mathematical creative thinking abilities. This research method uses descriptive analysis, in order to find out the students' mistakes in solving problems. Processing data is calculated in the form of an average, the results of the data obtained by indicators of fluency presented in question 1 and question 3 produces an average of 4 and 3.23, on the flexibility indicators presented in question 2 obtain an average of 3, then in question 4 which includes the organility indicator, it gets an average of 3.16, and finally the elaboration indicator in question 5 gets an average of 2.66, then the authors conclude that the ability to think creatively in grade VII C at Darul Falah junior high school Cihampelas, on triangles and square material is included in the medium category

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an increase in mathematical learning outcomes of junior high school students in Bogor district. In this study the population and sample are Arroyan Tanjungsari Middle School, Bogor Regency. The data of this study the authors provide tests in the form of pretest and posttest on the sample. The results of the research on the material of the curved side space that were carried out in accordance with the test results data were that learning based on geogebra applications clearly experienced an increase in mathematics learning outcomes in Bogor District Junior High School.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low ability of students' mathematical understanding and learning motivation of junior high school students. This study aims to determine the ability of students' mathematical understanding and student motivation to learn using the Problem Based Learning approach. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a pretest and posttest group design. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMPN 1 Margaasih in Bandung Regency. The sample in this study were two classes from class VIII, namely class VIII F as Experiment I class and VIII G as Experiment II class. The research data were obtained through tests of students' mathematical understanding abilities and student mathematics learning motivation questionnaires. Based on quantitative data analysis, it can be concluded that the ability of students' mathematical understanding and learning motivation of junior high school students whose learning uses the Problem Based Learning approach increases.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of geogebra in the material tangent circles on student interest in learning. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method that aims to describe the level of student interest in learning using geogebra applications on tangent circles. The results of this study were obtained from the distribution of instruments in the form of questionnaires for student interest in learning which were then processed using a Likert scale and then analyzed. The place of this research was conducted at SMAN I Cikalongwetan. The population used was all students of SMAN 1 Cikalongwetan with the sample being students of class XI A of SMAN 1 Cikalongwetan. Based on the results of the analysis of the data obtained it can be concluded that the level of student interest in learning after learning to use geogebra can be categorized quite well and students look more enthusiastic when learning to use geogebra. The weaknesses of the application of geogebra in learning in schools are: 1) the limitations of tools / android, 2) the time used is longer because they have to introduce the functions contained in every tool in geogebra, 3) not all students like technology

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' interest in learning mathematics in linear program material using the geogebra application. The research method used is descriptive analysis. The population in this study were private high school in West Bandung Regency and the sample taken was class XI students of Leppesa 2 Cililin high school, totaling 25 people, 13 male and 12 female. The instrument used was a statement questionnaire with indicators of student interest in learning consisting of 20 statements. Based on the results of data analysis obtained an overall percentage of 51.39% which shows that most of the students have an interest in learning mathematics in linear program material assisted by geogebra ICT media.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the interest in learning of junior high school students when conducting learning aided by the application of geogebra in the material of straight line equatios. The method used in this study is a quasi experiment with percentage quantitative descriptive techniques. The population of this study is students at junior high school Pasundan 9 Bandung, by taking a sample is 33 students of class VIII-C at junior high school Pasundan 9 Bandung. The instrument used in this study was a non-test instrument in the form of a questionnaire about students interest in learning after learning to use a geogebra application consisting of 20 statements. The result of this study are learning straight line equations in whose learning is assisted by the geogebra application get a positive response and can increase student interest in learning. Which can be seen from the average percentage obtained for each indicator 70,74% which means that most students already have an interest in learning mathematics learning mathematics learning assisted by geogebra applications.
