Abstract

Introduction: Hypertension is a chronic disease characterized by an increase in systolic and diastolic blood pressure above 140/100 mmHg. Hypertension with not controlled management will have an impact on the emergence of various complications including stroke, kidney failure, heart disease. Currently conventional therapy for hypertension uses drugs such as captopril, but continuous drug administration can cause adverse side effects from the drug. Acupressure therapy is a relatively inexpensive complementary therapy and tends not to have side effects like chemical drugs. Objective: This study aims to identify the effect of acupressure therapy on blood pressure in hypertensive clients. Methods: The research method used is pre-experimental. Respondents who participated in this study were 12 respondents who were residents at Kelurahan Utama, Kecamatan Cimahi Selatan. Acupressure therapy is given by massage using fingers at points ST 36, LR 3, Li 4 for 30 minutes with a massage strength of 3 kg. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using the wilcoxon test. Results: The results showed that the mean systolic and diastolic blood pressure before treatment was 153.33/94.17 mmHg, systolic and diastolic blood pressure after treatment was 142.83/88.50 mmHg. Conclusion: There is an effect of acupressure therapy on reducing blood pressure (p value = 0.006) in hypertensive clients. It is recommended for hypertensive clients to continue acupressure therapy in an effort to reduce high blood pressure

Abstract

Background: Depression includes disturbances in thought processes and content characterized by feelings of sadness, loss of hope and loss of interest in almost all activities. Depression is the most frequent cause of mental health disorders and the highest cause of disability in the population in Indonesia for the last 3 decades. Depression is more common at the age of 15-24 years or in the range of adolescents with an incidence rate of 6.2% and experienced a seven-fold increase during the Covid-19 pandemic situation, that can lead stressful situations for students which can result a depressive disorders. Efforts are needed to reconstruct negative thoughts into positive thoughts through cognitive behavior therapy.Purpose: To identify the effectiveness of cognitive behavior therapy for depression during the Covid-19 pandemic among nursing students.Method: A pre-experimental with one group pre-test and post-test. Respondents in this study were 20 students of the Unjani Fitkes Bachelor of Nursing study program. Respondents were given cognitive behavior therapy interventions in 3 sessions for 3 weeks. To ensure that there was a decrease in depressive symptoms, depression was measured using the Beck Depression index (BDI) before and after the intervention. Furthermore, the research data was analyzed using the dependent t test.Results: The average depression before being given an intervention was 26.25, while the average depression after being given cognitive behavioral therapy was 34.65.Conclusion: Cognitive behavioral therapy is one of the intervention options in reducing depression, although the results in this study were not proven to be effective in reducing depression in nursing students at Fitkes Unjani.Keywords: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Depression; Nursing StudentPendahuluan: Depresi termasuk gangguan proses dan isi pikir yang ditandai dengan rasa kesedihan, kehilangan harapan dan kehilangan minat di hampir semua aktivitas. Depresi merupakan penyebab paling sering gangguan kesehatan mental dan penyebab disabilitas tertinggi pada penduduk di Indonesia selama 3 dekade terakhir. Depresi lebih sering terjadi pada usia 15 – 24 tahun atau pada rentang remaja dengan angka kejadian sebesar 6.2 % dan mengalami peningkatan tujuh kali lipat selama pandemi Covid-19 yang bisa berdampak adanya situasi stress full bagi mahasiswa yang memperberat atau menimbulkan gangguan depresi pada mahasiswa keperawatan. Diperlukan upaya untuk merekonstruksi dari pikiran negatif menjadi pikiran positif melalui cognitive behavior therapy.Tujuan: Untuk mengidentifikasi efektivitas cognitive behavior therapy terhadap depresi di dalam kondisi pandemi Covid-19 pada mahasiswa Fitkes Unjani.Metode: Pre eksperimen dengan one group pre-test and post-test. Responden pada penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa prodi ilmu keperawatan S1 Fitkes Unjani sebanyak 20 responden. Responden diberikan intervensi cognitive behavior therapy sebanyak III sesi selama 3 minggu. Untuk memastikan adanya penurunan gejala depresi dilakukan pengukuran depresi menggunakan Beck Depression index (BDI) pada saat sebelum dan sesudah pemberian intervensi.Selanjutnya data penelitian dilakukan analisis menggunakan uji t dependen.Hasil: Didapatkan rerata depresi sebelum diberikan intervensi sebesar 26.25 sedangkan rerata depresi setelah diberikan pemberian cognitive behavioral therapy sebesar 34.65.Simpulan: Cognitive behavioral therapy menjadi salah satu pilihan intervensi dalam menurunkan depresi walaupun hasil dalam penelitian ini tidak terbukti secara efektif dapat menurunkan depresi pada mahasiswa keperawatan Fitkes Unjani.

Abstract

It is been almost 1 month since the Cianjur earthquake disaster, but there are still many problems that have not been resolved. One of these problems is the post-disaster trauma of the people affected by the Cianjur earthquake. Post-disaster mental recovery efforts are needed, especially for nursing students who are domiciled in the Cianjur region. The purpose of this community service activity is to carry out post-disaster recovery efforts and provide material support to nursing students who are domiciled throughout the Cianjur. This community service activity was held on December 19 2022 by all lecturers, educational staff, and nursing student association (HIMA) Fitkes Unjani by providing deep breathing relaxation therapy and material support assistance for 32 nursing students who live in 4 subdistricts in Cianjur. The results of the recovery effort showed that there was a difference in the average anxiety score between pre and postmental recovery therapy with a significant value of 0.001, (<0.05), which means that post-mental recovery therapy can significantly reduce anxiety scores. Deep breathing relaxation therapy has been proven to be able to significantly assist the mental recovery process after the Cianjur earthquake disaster for nursing students who live in Cianjur. It is suggested to all nursing students affected by the Cianjur earthquake to apply this therapy to further reduce anxiety after the Cianjur earthquake.

Abstract

ABSTRAK  Komunikasi Efektif merupakan komunikasi yang penting di tatanan Kesehatan. Komunikasi efektif di RS Dustira juga menggunakan komunikasi SBAR (Situation, Background, Asessments and Recommendation) antara perawat dan dokter. Namun dalam hal aplikasi di lapangan masih ditemukan komunikasi ini belum diaplikasikan secara maksimal. Hal yang terkait diantaranya saat handover masih ditemukan lupa mengemukakan nama dan ruangan saat menelpon atau handover dengan dokter. Pemebrian pelatihan terkait komunikasi efektif dengan metode komunikasi SISBAR, yang merupakan pengembangan dari komunikasi SBAR yang ada di RS Dustira. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pengabdian masyarakat dengan memebrikan  penegetahuan terkait komunikasi SISBAR dan pelatihan, role play dan juga workshop aplikasi dari komunikasi SISBAR yang bisa di lakukan dilapangan secara langsung. Pelatihan, workshop dan observasi komunikasi efektif SISBAR dilakukan di 10 Ruangan dan di ikuti oleh 51 orang terdiri dari Kepala Ruangan, CI dan KaTim tiap ruang rawat. Setelah di lakukan pre test dan post test terkait aspek pengetahuan di dapat rata rata pre test 63 dan rata rata post test 80. Selain itu hasil pelatihan dan pendampingan langsung terkait Apliaksi Observasi langsung di lapangan di dapatkan hasil 90. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat terkait dengan pelatihan dan workshop Komunikasi efektik SISBAR untuk handover perawat dan dokter lebih efektif dari pada komunikasi SBAR. Penambahan dan pemberian pelatihan terkait Salam dan memeprkenalkan disi saat melakukan handover efektif dengan pemebrian format handover dan juga pendampinganlansgung saat apliaksi di lapangan. Komunikasi SISBAR bisa djadikan dan diaplikasikan langsung dan memeberikan kepercayaan diri perawat saat melakukan handover dengan dokter. Di harapakan peran serta dari managemen Rumah Sakit dalam konsistensi komunikasi efektif SISBAR dan juga pelibatan profesi dokter dalam melihat efektifitas komunikasi SISBAR ini. Kata Kunci: Komunikasi Efektif, SISBAR, Handover, Perawat, Dokter   ABSTRACT  Effective communication is important communication in the health setting. Effective communication at Dustira Hospital uses SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, and Recommendation) communication between nurses and doctors. However, in terms of application in the field, it is still found that this communication has not been applied optimally including when handovers are still found forgetting to state the name and ward when calling or handing over with a doctor. Provide training related to effective communication using the SISBAR communication method, which is a development of SBAR communication at Dustira Hospital. The aim of this activity is to provide community service by providing knowledge related to SISBAR communication and training, role play, and workshops on the application of SISBAR communication which can be carried out directly in the field. SISBAR training, workshops, and effective communication observations were conducted in 10 wards and attended by 51 people consisting of the Nursing Unit Managers, Clinical Instructors (CI), and incharge nurse for each wards. After carrying out the pre-test and post-test related to the knowledge aspect, the pre-test and post-test average is 63 and 80 respectively. Furthermore, the results of direct training and mentoring related to direct observation applications in the field were obtained as a result of 90. Effective SISBAR communication for nurse and doctor handovers is more effective than SBAR communication. Addition and provision of training related to Greetings and introducing the elements when carrying out effective handovers by providing handover formats and direct assistance during field applications. SISBAR communication can be made and applied directly, giving nurses confidence when carrying out handovers with doctors. It is hoped that Hospital management has to apply SISBAR Communication consistency and has to participate in the medical profession's involvement in seeing the effectiveness of SISBAR communication. Keywords: Effective Communication, SISBAR, Handover, Nurse, Doctor

Abstract

Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is a respiratory disorder during sleep with characteristics of temporary breathing cessation and upper airway obstruction that recurred partially or completely. Obesity has been recorded as one important risk factor in OSA. The purpose of this research was to assess the effect of acupressure therapy in OSA. This is a quasi-experimental study with pre-test and post-test one group design. Respondents were 18 high school students with BMI > 25 kg/m2. OSA was assesed using Epworth Sleepiness Scale. Acupressure therapy was done at 10 acupoints for 10 consecutive days. Data was analyzed using dependent t test. The results showed Epworth Sleepiness Scale score decreased significantly after acupressure therapy procedure (6.78 vs 5.28; p value 0.004). Conclusion, acupressure therapy can reduce the severity of OSA. Keywords: acupressure, obesity, obstructive sleep apnea

Abstract

ABSTRAK  Kader kesehatan merupakan hal penting dalam peningkatan derajat Kesehatan di desa. Desa wangunjaya merupakan desa yang berada di garut Selatan yang telah memiliki 12 posyandu. Hanya ada 1 posko Kesehatan di desa yang masih belum optimal dalam penggunaannya. Para kader Kesehatan desa belum pernah di lakukan pelatihan terkait pengukuran tanda tanda vital dan BHD pada awam. Pemberian pelatihan kepada kader Kesehatan desa cara pengukuran tanda tanda vital, Bantuan hidup dasar dan juga infut data hasil pengkajian secara online melalui Gform. Setelah di lakukan pre test dan post test terkait aspek pengetahuan terkait TTV dan BHD di dapat rata rata pre test 47 dan rata rata post test 87. Selain itu hasil pelatihan dan pendampingan langsung terkait Observasi pelatihan TTV dan BHD dari 5 meningkat tajam ke 85. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat terkait dengan pelatihan dan workshop Pengukuran TTV, BHD dan infut data Kesehatan Masyarakat secara online menggunakan Gform efektif dalam peningkatan pengetahuan dan skill kader Kesehatan di Desa Wangunjaya Bungbulang. Di harapakan peran serta dari Stakeholders di Desa terutama Bidan desa dan pengurus Desa untuk melanjutkan kegiatan TTV, BHD dan infut data dengan monitoring dan evaluasi pada kegiatan kader Kesehatan desa. Selain itu perlunya di sediakan alat alat TTV untuk setiap Posyandu yang di Desa Wangunjaya. Kata Kunci: TTV, BHD, Pengkajian, Digital  ABSTRACT  Health cadres are important in improving the level of health in the village. Wangunjaya Village is a village in South Garut which has 12 posyandu. There is only 1 health post in the village whose use is still not optimal. Village Health cadres have never received training related to measuring vital signs and BHD among laypeople. providing training to village Health cadres on how to measure vital signs, basic life support and also inputting assessment results data online via Gform. After After conducting a pre-test and post-test related to knowledge aspects related to TTV and BHD, the average pre-test was 47 and the average post-test was 87. Apart from that, the results of direct training and mentoring related to TTV and BHD training observations increased sharply from 5 to 85. The results of community service related to training and workshops on measuring TTV, BHD and online input of Public Health data using Gform were effective in increasing the knowledge and skills of Health cadres in Wangunjaya Bungbulang Village. It is hoped that the participation of stakeholders in the village, especially the village midwife and village administrators, will continue TTV, BHD and data input activities by monitoring and evaluating the activities of village health cadres. Abstract

Edukasi kesehatan memainkan peran yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kesadaran kesehatan di kalangan remaja. Inisiatif promosi kesehatan digital masih didominasi oleh konten yang diproduksi oleh tenaga kesehatan atau profesional, potensi pemanfaatan konten edukasi kesehatan digital sangat besar, belum banyak program pengabdian masyarakat yang secara spesifik melatih siswa SMA dalam keterampilan ini. Tujuan pelatihan ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan Siswa SMA dalam membuat konten video edukasi kesehatan, khususnya tentang Bantuan Hidup Dasar (BHD) untuk awam. Metode pelatihan meliputi ceramah, demonstrasi, redemonstrasi, publikasi, serta evaluasi pre-test dan post-test dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 45 siswa. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan siswa, dengan persentase siswa yang memiliki kategori pengetahuan baik naik dari 48,9% menjadi 97,8%. Keterampilan pembuatan konten video juga meningkat, dibuktikan dengan kemampuan responden dalam membuat storyboard, hook, intro video serta narasi video. Kesimpulan pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa secara signifikan, terutama dalam pembuatan video edukasi Bantuan Hidup Dasar (BHD) untuk awam. Disarankan untuk mengembangkan program pelatihan ini ke lebih banyak sekolah di Cimahi maupun daerah lain agar semakin banyak siswa yang memiliki kemampuan membuat konten edukasi kesehatan digital.

Abstract

ABSTRAK  Kader kesehatan merupakan bagian penting dalam peningkatan derajat Kesehatan di desa, dan juga dalam rujukan diperlukan tim yang bisa dalam evakuasi dan keterampilan dalam merujuk pasien ke Puskesmas. Desa wangunjaya merupakan desa yang berada di garut Selatan dan  belum memiliki tim code blue Desa yang fokus ke rujukan pasien dan belum ada format rujukan digital. Para kader kesehatan belum memiliki pengetahuan atau keterampilan dalam Bantuan Hidup Dasar, Evakuasi dan sistem rujukan. pemberian pelatihan kepada kader Kesehatan dengan cara pengukuran tanda tanda vital (TTV), Bantuan hidup dasar (BHD), evakuasi Tandu dan juga sistem rujukan secara digital kesehatan dalam web desa. Setelah di lakukan pre test dan post test terkait aspek pengetahuan terkait TTV, BHD dan Evakuasi di dapat rata rata pre test 40 dan rata rata post test 80. Selain itu hasil pelatihan dan pendampingan langsung terkait Observasi pelatihan BHD meningkat tajam dari 30 ke 80, Evakuasi  tandu pasien menigkat dari 0 ke 80. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat terkait dengan pelatihan, workshop dan pendampingan Pengukuran TTV, BHD, evakuasi pasien tandu dan infut data Kesehatan rujukan digital efektif dalam peningkatan pengetahuan dan skill kader Kesehatan dan sistem rujukan digital di Desa Wangunjaya Bungbulang. Di harapakan peran serta dari Stakeholders di Desa terutama Bidan desa dan pengurus Desa untuk melanjutkan kegiatan team code blue kesehatan desa dalam pengkajian pasien, evakuasi dan rujukan dengan monitoring dan evaluasi pada kegiatan ini. Selain itu alat alat TTV dan alat evakuasi, dan juga web desa, rujukan kesehatan digital dimanfaatkan dan juga di tambahkan sehingga bermanfaat secara berkesinambungan. Kata Kunci: BHD, Code Blue, Evakuasi, Kader Kesehatan, Rujukan Digital, TTV  ABSTRACT Health cadres are an important part of improving the level of health in the village, and in referrals, a team is needed that can be in evacuation and skills in referring patients to the Puskesmas. The health cadres do not yet have the knowledge or skills in Basic Life Support, Evacuation and the referral system. Providing training to health cadres by measuring vital signs (TTV), Basic Life Support (BLS), stretcher evacuation and also a digital health referral system in the village website. After the pre-test and post-test related to the aspects of knowledge related to TTV, BLS and Evacuation, the average pre-test was 40 and the average post-test was 80. In addition, the results of direct training and mentoring related to BLS training observations increased sharply from 30 to 80, patient stretcher evacuation increased from 0 to 80. the results of community service related to training, workshops and mentoring of TTV Measurement, BLS, patient stretcher evacuation and digital health referral data input are effective in increasing the knowledge and skills of health cadres and the digital referral system in Wangunjaya Village, Bungbulang. It is hoped that the participation of Stakeholders in the Village, especially the village midwife and village officials, will continue the activities of the village health code blue team in patient assessment, evacuation and referral with monitoring and evaluation of these activities. Abstract

Background: The post-pandemic period of covid 19, the biggest cause of loss of income for parents of students, this can make students experience distress and depression. Symptoms of depressive disorders in adolescent students will have an impact on almost all activities on campus and will get worse if left untreated. the recommended form of treatment is complementary therapy such as acupressure therapy.Purpose: To determine the effectiveness of acupressure on depressive symptoms among nursing students.Method: Quasi-experiment with pretest-posttest one group design measuring depression using Beck Depression Inventory parameters, sample calculation using the Slovin formula, the number of samples used in this study were 20 participants.Results: The average BDI score before acupressure was 26.80 in the moderate depression category, the average BDI score after acupressure was 19.00 in the mild depression category. The results of the statistical test obtained a p value = 0.001 <0.05 which means that acupressure is effective in reducing depression levels.Conclusion: After undergoing acupressure tonification massage therapy 30 times per session, 3 sessions per week for 4 consecutive weeks, it can reduce the level of depression.

Abstract

Background: Nursing informatics competencies are the skills and knowledge that nurses must master to effectively integrate digital technology into nursing practice. Digital nursing documentation simulation is an innovative learning program that utilizes digital technology to create nursing care documentation. This allows students to train in a safe environment that reflects real life clinical conditions, with a facilitator providing feedback. Purpose: To determine the effect of digital nursing documentation simulation on nursing informatics competency. Method: A quasi-experimental design with a pretest and posttest one-group design. The population was 22 undergraduate nursing students enrolled in the Faculty of Health Sciences, Jenderal Achmad Yani University, year level 4th, with a sample size of 22 participants. The digital nursing documentation simulation was administered in three stages: orientation to digital nursing documentation learning, completing nursing care documentation using a computer-based application program, and evaluation and feedback. Nursing informatics competency among nursing students was compared before and after the intervention using the Self-Assessment Informatics Competency Scale (SICS). Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. Results: The average informatics competency before the intervention was 3.32, while the average informatics competency after the simulation was 3.59. There was a significant effect of digital nursing documentation simulation on nursing informatics competency (p value: 0.014). Conclusion: The application of digital nursing documentation simulation has a positive impact on Nursing Informatics Competency, especially in nursing students, in implementing nursing care.
