Abstract

Konflik dapat dialami oleh siapapun di tempat kerja termasuk perawat di rumah sakit. Kepala ruang sebagai manajer lini pertama keperawatan memiliki peran penting untuk memecahkan dan mengelola konflik staf keperawatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gaya manajemen konflik kepala ruang. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik pada 49 perawat di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Bali Mandara dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar perawat mempersepsikan kepala ruang menerapkan gaya manajemen konflik kompromi (85,9%) dan sebagian kecil perawat menganggap kepala ruang menerapkan gaya manajemen konflik menghindar (37,2%). Penelitian tentang gaya manajemen konflik telah menemukan bahwa masing-masing dari kita cenderung menggunakan satu atau dua dari lima strategi lebih dari yang lain.

Abstract

Hospitals can be a source of transmission of microorganisms to patients during treatment. Infections acquired by patients while being hospitalized are called Healthcare Associated Infections (HAIs), so HAIs are an indicator of the quality of care provided by the hospital. The purpose of this study is to know the effectiveness of training on the knowledge, skills, and behavior of prevention of HAIs in nurses in the hospital. A quasi-experimental research design with a pre-test and post-test design with a control group design on 140 nurses through purposive sampling was used. Data collection used questionnaires (r value 0.412-0.716> r table 0.294; Cronbach Alpha 0.753) and observation sheets. The Wilcoxon test was used to analyze the mean difference between groups because the data were not normally distributed. The mean difference between the control and intervention groups was analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test. The results of the study obtained shows the effect of training on knowledge (p value <0.001), skills (p value <0.001), and behavior (p value = 0.041) on HAI prevention in the intervention group. In fact, in the control group, it was found that there was no effect of training on knowledge, skills and behavior of prevention of HAIs (p value> 0.005). There were differences in knowledge, skills, and behavior of HAI prevention between the intervention group and the control group (p value <0.001).

The 2019 Coronavirus Disease pandemic caused nurses to communicate more indirectly to patients being treated. This requires a strategy so that nurses can still apply communication effectively during the 2019 Coronavirus Disease pandemic. The Wilcoxon test results obtained a p value of 0.000, meaning that there is an effect of sharing sessions and providing educational videos on nurses' knowledge about effective communication during the 2019 Coronavirus Disease pandemic. Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 telah mengubah tatanan kehidupan termasuk bidang pendidikan. Proses pembelajaran di sekolah dan perguruan tinggi berganti metode menjadi dalam jaringan atau disingkat sebagai daring demi mencegah penyebaran COVID-19. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana evaluasi kepuasan pembelajaran daring selama masa pandemi. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif yang dilakukan pada mahasiswa keperawatan Universitas Udayana pada bulan Juni 2022 dengan 170 mahasiswa sebagai responden yang dipilih dengan metode stratified random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan responden berusia 18-22 tahun dengan mayoritas responden merupakan perempuan 149 orang (87,6%), dan jumlah responden angkatan terbanyak adalah angkatan 2021 (tahun ke-2) dengan 49 orang (28,8%). Hasil evaluasi pembelajaran daring selama masa pandemi pada mahasiswa keperawatan Universitas Udayana didapatkan sebagian besar dengan kepuasan dalam kategori tinggi yaitu 109 orang (63,8%). Karakteristik responden yang merespon dengan kepuasan yang tinggi sebagian besar berjenis jenis kelamin perempuan yaitu 89 orang (52,4%) dan pada tahun kedua atau angkatan 2021 yaitu 40 orang (23,5%). Hasil penelitian disimpulkan responden didominasi perempuan, angkatan 2021 (tahun ke-2) dengan rentang usia antara 18 hingga 22 tahun. Berdasarkan gambaran evaluasi kepuasan pembelajaran daring selama masa pandemi pada mahasiswa keperawatan Universitas Udayana sebagian besar masuk kedalam kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Perawat yang bertugas di Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) merupakan salah satu profesional yang rentan untuk mengalami stres, lelah, dan perubahan emosi terlebih pada situasi pandemi COVID-19. Guna menghadapi hal tersebut, selain bertindak sebagai pemimpin, perawat struktural IGD memiliki peran penting dalam menurunkan gejala negatif tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan pengalaman perawat struktural dalam menghadapi pandemi COVID-19 pada IGD RS rujukan COVID-19 di Bali. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi dengan pendekatan postpositivism, yang dilaksanakan selama 4 bulan pada lima ruang IGD RS rujukan COVID-19 di Bali. Partisipan dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling dan pengambilan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara semi terstruktur pada 8 partisipan perawat struktural IGD. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan pedoman wawancara dan perekaman suara dengan voice recorder dan handphone. Hasil analisis verbatim pada penelitian ini teridentifikasi empat tema utama yakni: Merawat pasien COVID-19 di IGD, Manajemen pelayanan IGD saat pandemi, Solidaritas tim IGD, Komunikasi efektif di IGD. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa selama pandemi COVID-19 berlangsung, terjadi perubahan manajemen pelayanan yang disesuaikan dengan aturan yang berlaku dan kebijakan dari manajemen RS rujukan COVID-19. Adanya perubahan tersebut membuat perawat struktural harus bisa beradaptasi dan memberikan contoh kepada timnya dalam memberikan pelayanan pada situasi luar biasa. Untuk mempertahankan solidaritas tim pelayanan, perawat struktural menjadi teladan untuk memotivasi anggota tim perawat di IGD dengan mempertahankan komunikasi efektif.

Abstract

Kepercayaan diri adalah sikap yakin pada kemampuan diri sendiri untuk melakukan hal yang ingin dicapainya. Kepercayaan diri sangat penting dimiliki oleh remaja sebagai pelajar untuk mengembangkan prestasi yang dimilikinya. Remaja cenderung memiliki perasaan labil dan lebih emosional, sehingga rentan untuk memiliki kepercayaan diri yang rendah. Intensitas penggunaan media sosial dapat mempengaruhi kepercayaan diri penggunanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan intensitas penggunaan media sosial dengan kepercayaan diri pada siswa di SMA Kristen Harapan Denpasar. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif korelatif menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 154 siswa di kelas XII pada jurusan MIPA dan IPS. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang telah teruji valid dan reliabel untuk mengukur intensitas penggunaan media sosial dan kepercayaan diri melalui google form. Uji analisis yang digunakan adalah uji korelasi Spearman Rank dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil uji analisis menggunakan Spearman Rank menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang cukup erat dengan arah hubungan yang negatif antara intensitas penggunaan media sosial dengan kepercayaan diri (p < 0,001, r = - 0,430). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa intensitas penggunaan media sosial berhubungan dengan kepercayaan diri dimana semakin tinggi intensitas penggunaan media sosial maka semakin rendah kepercayaan diri yang dimiliki oleh remaja, begitu juga sebaliknya. Remaja diharapkan dapat menggunakan media sosial dengan baik dan bijak untuk mencegah terjadinya penurunan kepercayaan diri.

Abstract

Nurses mostly experience relatively high workloads. Excessive workloads on nurses can cause physical fatigue and affect the mental health of a nurse, thus impacting work activities for a nurse. This study aimed to determine the relationship between workload and the mental health of nurses at the Denpasar City Health Center. This type of research is correlative analytic with a cross-sectional research design. The sampling technique used in this study used the probability sampling technique with the total sampling method. The sample used was 60 respondents from the total population of all nurses at the North and East Denpasar Health Center. The research instrument used in this study for the workload variable was the NASA-TLX (National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index) instrument. In contrast, the mental health variable used the Self Rating Questionnaire (SRQ) 20 instrument. The results of this study showed that most nurses (55%) experienced heavy workloads. In comparison, the results of the mental health measurements of most nurses (80%) fell into the category of emotional mental disorders. The Spearman Rank test results obtained a p-value of 0.002 <0.05, which means that there is a relationship between the workload variable and the mental health of nurses, and a correlation coefficient value of 0.385 was obtained, which means that the correlation strength is sufficient. Excessive workload on nurses can later cause stress and burnout, ultimately affecting the nurse's mental health. Therefore, it is hoped that nurses can evaluate themselves in reducing their workload so that they can later improve their mental health to remain optimal.

Abstract

Self-efficacy perawat didefinisikan sebagai persepsi perawat dalam melakukan tindakan keperawatan professional sesuai dengan kompetensi keperawatan. Berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya, self-efficacy perawat diketahui memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap beberapa aspek seperti komunikasi, perilaku asertif hingga kinerja keperawatan. Berbagai cara dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy perawat salah satunya adalah pendekatan Neuro-linguistic programming. Artikel ini dibuat untuk mengetahui dampak positif Neuro-Linguistic Programming terhadap self-efficacy perawat. Neuro-linguistic programming terdiri dari beberapa metode seperti sensory acuity, reframing, anchoring, rapport, pacing dan leading. Melalui beberapa penelitian diketahui bahwa neuro-linguistic programming dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap perawat, kemampuan berkomunikasi perawat, manajemen diri, kesehatan mental, stress kerja higga self-efficacy perawat dalam melakukan kompetensi keperawatan. Neuro-linguistic programming dapat menjadi sebuah solusi untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy perawat yang kemudian berdampak pada kinerja dan kualitas tenaga keperawatan professional.

Abstract

The Emergency Department (ED) frequently encounters operational challenges such as overcrowding, prolonged waiting times, and inefficient patient flow, which negatively impact healthcare service delivery. Therefore, several efforts can be made to improve efficiency and service quality through systematic events improvement. The Discrete Event Simulation (DES) could be a promising effort to effectively alleviate the patients’ Length of Stay (LOS). This study aimed to assess the role of DES in reducing patient LOS and improving ED efficiency. A literature review was conducted by analyzing peer-reviewed articles published in the past five years from databases including Google Scholar, PubMed, and ProQuest, using specific keywords related to DES and ED performance. The selected studies were synthesized to evaluate the effectiveness of DES interventions. Findings indicate that DES models, particularly when applied through scenario-based simulations, consistently demonstrate significant reductions in ED LOS. These outcomes suggest that DES is a valuable decision-support tool for optimizing resource allocation and patient flow. However, implementation requires careful consideration of institutional needs and further validation through real-world trials. Future research should focus on context-specific applications and long-term impact assessment to support sustainable improvements in emergency care.

Abstract

Nursing Documentation has significant roles in order to enhancing patient safety. Thus, its accuracy and completeness should perfectly perform based on the standards. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of nursing care documentation among nurses in hospitals. This study employed non-experimental descriptive quantitative research with a retrospective approach and the samples chosen was 114 medical records that met the inclusion criteria using proportional stratified random sampling technique. The research instruments used is an observation sheet for a study documenting the nursing care standards implementation by The Ministry of Health of Republic Indonesia 2005, which has been modified by adding true and false points for each indicator assessed. The data analysis employed univariate analysis which is presented in the form of a frequency’s distribution. The study results found that most of the nurses were not able to complete the records correctly by 72,8% as well as grouping the data by 55,3% in the assessment aspects. In the diagnosis and the intervention aspects, most of the nurses are able to completing the documentation perfectly. On the other aspects, the study found that nurses are not able to complete the implementation that refers to the treatment plan by 67 or 58,8%. However, it is also found that the nurses are not able to documented the evaluation refers to objective by 58 or 50,9%. On the general documentation, most of the nurses still are not able to compete the records by standardized format (95;83,3%) as well as put the initials or name clearly and date in the documentation (58;50,9%).
