Abstract

In the era of technological advancement, especially in computer and artificial intelligence (AI), there is a significant impact on various fields, including the Food and Beverage business. The use of chatbots with AI technology enables human-computer interaction in natural language, facilitating efficient ordering, information, and customer services. Chatbots are based on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and are trained using Machine Learning techniques such as Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), with TensorFlow as the main tool. This provides ease, accuracy, and efficiency in customer service. From the conducted research, NLP- based reservation chatbots perform well and receive positive feedback from users in most aspects. Abstract

Fakultas Teknik Universitas Udayana (FT UNUD) still uses a manual system for letter submission, resulting in delays in delivering information to students and increasing the workload of administrative staff. Additionally, this manual system often causes errors in record-keeping and makes it difficult to track the submission status. To address this issue, the Sistem Informasi Pengajuan Surat (SIPS), a web-based letter submission system integrated with SIMAK-NG, was developed using the Scrum method. The development was carried out iteratively through several sprints, covering requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. Testing using the Black Box Testing method showed that all features in SIPS functioned according to the designed specifications. With this system, the letter submission process is expected to become faster, more structured, and more efficient. Moreover, SIPS allows students to monitor the status of their submissions in real-time, enhancing the transparency of administrative services. SIPS also supports document digitalization, helping to reduce paper usage and improve the effectiveness of academic data management. However, further evaluation is needed to assess the system's impact on operational efficiency and user satisfaction to ensure the optimization of academic services at FT UNUD. In the future, this system can continue to be developed with additional features, such as automated notifications and integration with other academic services.

Abstract

Sistem monitoring mencakup pengumpulan, pelaporan, dan tindakan atas informasi suatu proses yang sedang berlangsung di suatu ruangan. Salah satu hal yang dapat dimonitoring pada ruangan adalah tingkat penggunaan listrik. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan perancangan hardware sistem monitoring portabel yang dapat memonitoring arus dan tegangan listrik AC. Desain hardware menggunakan prosessor Raspberry Pi untuk mengolah hasil pembacaan 4 buah sensor arus YHDC tipe SCT-013-000 dan sensor tegangan AC. Hardware dapat diakses melalui antarmuka konfigurasi berbasis web yang menampilkan konektivitas jaringan dan nilai dari sensor-sensor. Hasil pengujian sensor arus pada saluran listrik 3 fase RSTN dan pengujian sensor tegangan didapatkan bahwa LCD pada hardware dan antarmuka konfigurasi berbasis web telah berhasil menampilkan nilai pembacaan sensor-sensor. Hardware juga telah berhasil terhubung ke jaringan wireless “RUANGAN01”pada alamat IP 192.168.8.107. Keseluruhan fungsionalitas antarmuka konfigurasi hardware berbasis web seperti login, koneksi perangkat, konfigurasi “on” sensor, reboot, shutdown dan reset juga telah berfungsi dengan baik dan sesuai dengan rancangan.

Abstract

The DH Building of the Electrical Engineering Study Program at Udayana University faces significant challenges in energy efficiency, as it still relies on conventional electrical systems. User negligence, such as forgetting to switch off lights and air conditioners (AC) after use, often results in unnecessary energy waste and increased operational costs. This issue highlights the urgent need for smart solutions capable of automating energy management, reducing waste caused by human error, and supporting the creation of a more efficient and sustainable campus environment. To address this problem, this study designs and implements a smart building system based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The system employs a NodeMCU ESP32 microcontroller as the main processing unit, integrated with a series of sensors including a DHT22 sensor for monitoring temperature and humidity, an MQ2 sensor for smoke detection, a PIR sensor for motion detection, and a PZEM-004T sensor for monitoring energy consumption. Control of electronic devices such as lights and AC units is carried out both automatically and manually through relay modules connected to the system. All sensor data and control functions are accessed via a web interface developed using the Laravel framework and a MySQL database. The testing results indicate that the designed system was successfully implemented and functions as expected. Sensor testing demonstrated high accuracy compared to standard measuring instruments, while the electronic device control system achieved an average response time of approximately 3.6 seconds, proving its reliability. Overall, the system provides a comprehensive solution for energy consumption monitoring and control, while also enhancing comfort and safety in the DH Building, in line with the goals of energy efficiency and facility modernization.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop online applications with the aim of identifying the interests and talents of high school students using the RIASEC (Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, Conventional) method. This application is intended to help students understand their interests and talents as well as provide guidance in choosing the appropriate educational and career path. The RIASEC method has proven to be an effective tool in analyzing individual interests and talents based on six personality types. This method will be integrated into the application to provide relevant questions and tests to assess student interest and talent. The application will be developed with a user-friendly interface to facilitate easy navigation and accurate evaluation for students. This research will focus on high school students as the main research subject. The data required for the operation of the application will be collected through surveys and interviews involving students from various high schools. In addition, a literature review will be carried out to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the RIASEC method in identifying students' interests and talents. The results of this study are expected to demonstrate the effectiveness of online applications in identifying the interests and talents of high school students using the RIASEC method. The application can be a valuable tool for students, parents and teachers in guiding students towards educational and career choices that match their interests and talents.

Abstract

Learning Management System (LMS) is a system to manage learning and lecturer-student interaction. Udayana University has an LMS called OASE, which supports online and blended learning. OASE has some UI/UX issues such as login problem, rigid interface, and slow upload. UI/UX usage is important for website performance. UI/UX analysis involves Heuristic Evaluation and WEBUSE. Heuristic Evaluation focuses on appearance, while WEBUSE on user experience. OASE analysis with these methods aims to improve performance and measure UI/UX. This research aims to analyze the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) of the OASE e-learning service at Udayana University Bali. The methods used in this research are Heuristic Evaluation and WebUSE to identify potential problems and assess user satisfaction in using the e-learning platform. The results of this evaluation will identify errors or problems that exist in layout, navigation, interaction, and other design aspects. Furthermore, a WEBUSE analysis was conducted by collecting data from users of the OASE e-learning service. The participants involved in this research are students and lecturers who have used OASE. The results of this research will provide a comprehensive picture of potential problems in the UI/UX of the OASE e-learning service at Udayana University Bali. The findings of the Heuristic Evaluation will serve as a guide for design improvements, while the WebUSE analysis will provide insights into user preferences for further improvements.

Abstract

Manual attendance systems in health clinics are often ineffective, reducing service quality, and increasing operational costs. This study designed an integrated digital attendance system with a mobile application for medical personnel and an admin website aimed at improving the efficiency and accuracy of attendance management. Development followed the Waterfall SDLC model, while testing included Black-Box Testing, Cognitive Walkthrough (CW), and System Usability Scale (SUS). The mobile application supports in-clinic/out-of-clinic attendance (Wi-Fi validation, geolocation, selfie photos, documents), leave requests, work schedules, attendance recaps, and pay slips. The admin website facilitates employee data management, attendance and leave validation, work schedule creation, and salary and attendance recaps. Black-Box Testing results showed success in all functional scenarios; CW recorded 96% effectiveness (mobile) and 98% (website) with very fast efficiency; SUS scores of 76.42 and 76.07, respectively, indicating good usability; and API testing proved smooth data integration. This system has been proven to be functional, effective, efficient, and ready to be implemented in health clinics.

Abstract

Urban agricultural land conversion encourages the use of hydroponic systems. However, people's busy lives make it difficult to monitor the nutrition and environment of hydroponic plants. This study developed a monitoring system called Hydrotech, an IoT-based hydroponic monitoring system with an ESP32 microcontroller and pH, TDS, temperature (DS18B20), and water level sensors. Data from the sensors is sent to Firebase and displayed through a mobile application. The method used is an experiment and literature study. Testing was carried out by planting lettuce using the Hydrotech system to evaluate its performance. Primary data was obtained from device testing which includes data from research on the sensors used, while secondary data was obtained from previous research sensor data as a comparison with the current study. The results of this study indicate that the four sensors used, namely the pH, TDS, water level, and temperature DS18B20 sensors, can function properly. Hydrotech is also equipped with an Android application to display sensor data in real time and present historical data for each sensor used for further analysis on hydroponic plants. The Hydrotech application is also filled with a planting calendar as a reminder of planting and harvesting times for hydroponic plants. This Hydrotech monitoring system helps city residents manage hydroponics optimally and efficiently in terms of both energy and time.

Abstract

The development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has made a significant contribution to the design of smart building systems. This research discusses the utilization of IoT in designing smart building systems based on previous studies. The focus of the discussion includes the use of controllers, various types of sensors and control devices, and system scope. By understanding the use of IoT devices and the approaches used in prior research, this study is expected to serve as a reference in the development of smart building systems to be more adaptive and efficient in the future.
