Abstract

This research is based on the government's efforts to foster reading interest with the establishment of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) program. the school literacy movement program (GLS) in fostering students' reading interest, to describe the impact of implementing the school literacy movement program (GLS) on students' reading interest. The approaches and methods used are qualitative approaches and descriptive methods through data collection techniques such as triangulation techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation using the Miles and Huberman data analysis models consisting of the process of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification/drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the implementation of the literacy movement program was successful, this was proven through the results of interviews related to supporting and inhibiting factors for the school literacy movement that in the school there are supporting roles such as facilities and infrastructure while the inhibiting role is only technical implementation, in the related observation process the teacher's efforts in the literacy movement program where the teacher has been quite good at implementing GLS in fostering students' interest in reading.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the institutional word method on the beginning reading ability of class I students at SDN Kalibuntu. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research with quasi-experimental methods. The population in this research is class I which consists of classes Ia and Ib at SDN Kalibuntu. In this study, two classes were used as samples. Class Ia is the control class and class Ib is the experimental class. The instruments used in this research include interviews, pretest, posttest and documentation. The research results show that the institutional word method can influence the beginning reading ability of class I students at SDN Kalibuntu. This can be seen through the results of the proposed hypothesis test. Hypothesis testing uses the t-test with a significance level α = 0.05 with degrees of freedom (n-2) namely 23. With the acceptance criterion Ha if tcountttable. Obtained 12.29702 2.069 thus Ha is accepted with a confidence level of 95%. This shows that there is an influence from the use of the institutional word method on the beginning reading abilities of class I students at SDN Kalibuntu in the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitin ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan produk e-komik matematika berbasis literasi numerasi di kelas IV SD, mendeskripsikan kelayakan produk e-komik matematika berbasis literasi numerasi di kelas IV SD, dan mendeskripsikan respons siswa setelah menggunakan e-komik matematika berbasis literasi numerasi di kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini memakai pendekatan Research Development (RD), yang memanfaatkan 7 tahap telah diadaptasi dari model Borg and Gall. Siswa kelas IV dijadikan sebagai subjek penelitian. Penelitian menggunakan wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Penelitian ini mencakup analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Temuan penelitian ini mengarahkan pada pembuatan e-komik matematika berbasis literasi numerasi dengan pokok bahasan bilangan pecahan senilai. Hasil kelayakan e-komik matematika dari kedua validasi ahli media mendapatkan persentase 81,05% dengan kriteria “sangat layak”, sedangkan validasi dua ahli materi mendapatkan persentase 76,25% dengan kriteria “layak”. Respons siswa yang berjumlah 21 reponden mendapatkan persentase 86,50% dengan kriteria “sangat baik”.
