Abstract

The problem that occurs in Sanjai Tourism Village is inadequate internet access. Internet access is fundamental nowadays, both in daily activities and in the context of promotional activities for Tourism Villages to attract visitors. One of the aspects of assessing the Indonesian Tourism Village Award is digital creativity. To make this happen, it is necessary to have internet access that everyone can enjoy, including the community, visitors, and the Tourism Village group (Pokdarwis) in the Sanjai Tourism Village. Therefore, in Community Service activities, a Wi-Fi Coin system was designed to improve internet access in the Sanjai Tourism Village. The Wi-Fi Coin System uses coins to access the internet. In addition, the Wi-Fi Coin system can be portable for use in the desired location. The method used consists of three stages: preparation consisting of a survey and needs analysis to obtain data on community needs, especially the Sanjai Tourism Village Pokdarwis. The implementation consists of system design, testing, and implementation. System design and testing were carried out at the Unand Computer Engineering Department. Meanwhile, the implementation was done directly before the Pokdarwis team and the Village Community. Trials and equipment handover to the Sanjai Tourism Village Pokdarwis marked the activity results.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has diversity, both in terms of ethnicity, customs, religion, and language. One of them is the island of Bali, the island of Bali is one of the parameters of Indonesian tourism. Data on the high number of tourist visits to Bali before the pandemic increased. This is what affects the economy in Bali. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, tourists visiting Bali have decreased. In an effort to increase the economy due to the pandemic in the tourism sector, the Province of Bali continues to develop villages in Bali into tourist villages. One of them is Sudaji Village, Sudaji Village is included in the top 50 Indonesian tourist villages, the current digitization in the form of websites, YouTube, Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook which is used to provide information about the potential that exists in the village. However, the digitization is still not enough to encourage tourists to know about Sudaji Village, especially domestic tourists. This is evidenced by the results of interviews with five domestic tourists, stating that they have never heard of tourism in Sudaji Village, Bali. In the development of digital villages in Sudaji Village, namely using Augmented Reality (AR). Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that has a lot of potential to be developed in various fields. This study uses the design thinking method with 5 stages, namely empathize to find out about the problems of potential users, define to define problems from the data that has been obtained, ideate, which is to create solutions or ideas based on existing problems, prototypes make products from the results of the previous stages, and the fifth stage, namely testing carried out by 5 potential users to get an SUS score of 82 which is included in the A value with excellent information.

Abstract

The importance of providing information about planet earth to users is one of the reasons for conducting this research, because humans are living beings who play an important role in protecting the earth so that various information and knowledge about planet earth are needed. To get this information, the smartphone is one of the tools used as a medium of information. Through the use of this technology, researchers convey information using an interactive pop-up application in the form of three dimensions. To realize the interactive application, researchers use markerless-based augmented reality technology, so that users can use it without any limitations of space and time.The development method used in this research is the design thinking method consisting of 5 stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The testing phase in this study uses blackbox testing, validation tests carried out by experts, and a usability scale system carried out by potential users to determine the level of satisfaction when using the application. The results of the Pop-Up Earth application test show that the application is in grade A or the excellent category with an average SUS score of 82.5% and can run well as expected. Experts state that this application is valid for use with an average value of 98.3% for the delivery of application media and 87.5% for the delivery of application information. It is hoped that the Pop-Up Earth application can provide various information about planet earth to users interactively and informatively.

Abstract

Unggan weaving is a superior product of Sijunjung Regency and is a priority in the Sijunjung Regency Industrial Development Plan. The aim of the activity is to develop the ability to design Unggan weaving motifs digitally and optimize Unggan weaving production. The method used is a training and mentoring method with quantitative measurement of the success of activities. The activity stages begin with the preparation stage and continue with the implementation stage, namely with motif design training and production assistance to increase product capacity. Every activity is monitored and evaluated to see the success of the activity. The result of the training activities was that 10 craftsmen were trained in designing. The activities carried out are able to increase the ability of entrepreneurs/craftsmen to design motifs digitally, so that the motifs created become more varied with attractive color combinations. The availability of new non-machine looms (ATBM) will increase production capacity. Activities are also able to increase production with the availability of yarn spinning equipment, which will streamline raw material acquisition costs and reduce dependence on raw material suppliers. This activity will continue until 2025 to 2026, so it could have an impact on partners' business performance. The obstacles faced by craftsmen are limited to getting used to designing digitally and needing further training and assistance. From the activities carried out, it can be concluded that craftsmen are able to design digitally and increase production capacity. Craftsmen are expected to use yarn spinning equipment and this could become a new business activity, namely providing yarn spun at CV. Lansek Manih at a cheaper price than yarn suppliers from Silungkang or Bukittinggi.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the quality and innovation of Tenun Songket Berkah designs in Nagari Sungai Janiah, Solok Regency, through digital design training using Adobe Illustrator. The program was held on July 27, 2024, at the Tenun Songket Berkah micro-enterprise, employing various methods such as training, hands-on practice, and mentoring. The primary goal of this activity is to introduce digital design techniques that can develop traditional tenun motifs to be more innovative, modern, and appealing to both local and international markets. The implementation methods included intensive training on the use of Adobe Illustrator, practical sessions on creating digital-based tenun motifs, and ongoing mentoring to develop unique and creative designs. Participants were trained to optimize the use of this software to create complex and detailed motifs, which were then integrated into the production process. The results of the activity showed a significant improvement in the participants' ability to use Adobe Illustrator for designing tenun motifs, positively impacting the quality, variety, and added value of the products. A total of 10 new motifs were successfully created, marketed, and registered as Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), strengthening the position of the micro-enterprise in the market. In conclusion, this training proved effective in fostering innovation in the Tenun Songket Berkah industry, enhancing human resource skills, and expanding the market reach. It is recommended to continue with advanced training in product design and digital marketing to maintain and enhance the competitiveness of the products in the global market.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini membahas tentang sistem kontrol cairan infus pada pasien dengan memanfaatkan teknologi sensor networks dan mikrokontroler arduino uno.  Sensor yang digunakan adalah sensor Ultrasonik HC-SR04 yang difungsikan untuk mendeteksi sisa cairan infus. Data yang terbaca oleh sensor dikirimkan menggunakan jaringan nirkabel/wireless dari Transmitter (Tx) di ruang pasien ke Receiver (Rx) di ruang perawat dengan menggunakan modul wireless Xbee S2. Efisiensi dari sistem kontrol yang dibuat yaitu ketika sensor mendeteksi cairan infus mendekati batas habis cairan yang telah ditentukan maka motor yang berada pada selang infus akan berfungsi untuk menutup aliran cairan infus pada selang. Dari simulasi yang dilakukan, didapatkan hasil presentasi error ketinggian cairan infus sebesar 1.96% dan presentasi error volume cairan sebesar 2.16%. Performa dari modul wireless Xbee S2 juga di ujicoba dengan mengirimkan data dari Xbee end device ke Xbee coordinator dalam penelitian ini. Kata kunci: Infus, Sensor Networks, Sensor Ultrasonik HC-SR04, Xbee S2 dan Mikrokontroler Arduino Uno.ABSTRACTThis research discusses about intravenous fluids Control System on Patients, utilizing sensor network technology and Arduino Uno microcontroller. We used  HC-SR04 Ultrasonic sensors to detect the review time intravenous fluids. The sensors data is readable by transmitted using wireless network/wireless from Transmitter (Tx) in Patients Into Space Receiver (Rx) at nurse room with using XBee wireless device S2. The efficiency of the control system were made, namely when the sensor detects the approaching limits of intravenous fluids discharged liquid that has been determined then the motor that was on the infus line will serve to close the infusion fluid flow in the line. In our simulations we found, the findings obtained Presentation intravenous fluids altitude error is 1.96% and presentations volume Liquid error is 2.16%. The performance of network devices XBee S2 have been tried, wireless data from the XBee end devices coordinator in this research. Keywords: Infusion, Sensor Networks, HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor, XBee S2 And Microcontroller Arduino Uno.

Abstract

The research objective is to analyze the local wisdom-based community economic empowerment model in Nagari Matua Hilia, especially in the tourism sector. This research explores the extent to which the tourism sector contributes to community income and identifies their expectations of universities and the government in fostering tourism development. The method used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach by providing questionnaires to tourism businesses in the region. The results show that some communities have attended tourism business management training, while others have not had access to such training. The majority of available training is organized by the government, with limited involvement from universities and private institutions. In addition, the average income from the tourism business is around 3 million rupiah per month, which still has the potential to be increased. To strengthen local wisdom-based economic empowerment, more comprehensive and sustainable training is needed, including digital marketing strategies, financial management, and local culture-based tourism product innovation. In addition, increased income can be encouraged through the development of more attractive tourist attractions, utilization of digital technology in promotion, and cooperation with various parties. An empowerment model based on local wisdom can be an effective strategy in optimizing the economic potential of the community and making tourism a leading sector in Nagari Matua Hilia.

Abstract

The use of technology is fundamental in the digital era. Adjustment and transformation are essential activities to keep up with technological developments. One of the uses of technology is product marketing and promotion. Sanjai Tourism Village, located in Bukittinggi City, is one of the villages where marketing and promotion of tourism products are still carried out using conventional promotional methods such as through newspapers, radio advertisements, posters, and distribution of brochures. This method is still limited and cannot reach a broader scope. Therefore, to compete in the digital era, there needs to be a transformation of promotion and marketing of tourism products through the internet media using a website. Information about promoting and marketing tourism products can be done digitally and online using a website. The results of advertising and marketing tourism village products by utilizing the website can be spread and known to the public with a broader reach. Therefore, in the community service activities of the Unand Computer Engineering Department, the Sanjai Tourism Village website was built with a method consisting of several stages, such as coordination, surveys, design, website implementation, improvement, and submission of the website to Sanjai Tourism Village. Each stage has been carried out, and a website has been produced with features such as a homepage, profile, tourism products of various fields, news and activities, and contacts.

Abstract

Shopping Mall merupakan area pusat perbelanjaan yang besar dan memiliki sistem keamanan seperti sistem layanan informasi yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh konsumen untuk mendapatkan informasi yang dibutuhkan. Penggunaan sistem layanan informasi pada area Shopping Mall bagi konsumen terkadang sangat tidak efektif. Hal ini dikarenakan konsumen membutuhkan waktu yang lama dalam mendapatkan informasi, dimana konsumen terlebih dahulu harus mencari lokasi tempat sistem layanan informasi tersebut. Hal ini menjadikan sistem keamanan pada Shopping Mall menjadi lemah. Indoor Positioning System (IPS) merupakan sistem yang dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui posisi pengguna melalui kekuatan sinyal Wi-Fi yang didapat dalam gedung. Pada penelitian ini, penulis membuat suatu aplikasi android yang dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui posisi konsumen pada area Shopping Mall tersebut.
