Abstract

The research was conducted from December 2014 to January 2015 in the Laboratory of Water Quality Management Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, University of Riau Pekanbaru. The Objective of the research was to obtain an overview of COD and BOD value changes during the study on container or media life of fish Snakeskin Gourami (Trichogaster trichopterus Blkr) by given palm oil effluent with different doses. The method used in this study is an experimental, 5 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment used in this study is P0: no palm oil waste (control), P1: 1,286 ml/L P2 : 12,86 ml/L, P3 : 25,72 ml/L, P4 : 38,58 ml/L. The results showed that each containers research by palm oil waste with different doses decreased the velue COD and BOD. The highest the COD value of 185,33 mg/L with descreased to 80,67 mg/L, and the highest the BOD value of 101,33 mg/L descreased to 41,33 mg/L, and COD value of this research is the lowest in the control treatment that is the COD value of 9.67 mg/L, and the lowest is in the BOD value of the control that is equal to 5 mg/L.Key words : Changes, COD, BOD, Palm Oil Waste, Trichogaster trichopterus

Abstract

AbstrakLimbah cair kelapa sawit merupakan limbah buangan hasil produksi kelapa sawit yang berbahaya dan dapat mengganggu kehidupan organisme perairan, khususnya ikan Baung yang habitatnya berada dekat dengan lokasi pengolahan kelapa sawit.  Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada bulan November-Desember 2018 yang bertempat di Laboratorium Mutu Lingkungan Budidaya Fakultas Perikanan dan Kelautan Universitas Riau, Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui toksisitas limbah cair kelapa sawit dan uji sub-lethal pada wadah pemeliharaan ikan Baung (H. nemurus).Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) satu faktor dan tiga tahap percobaan yang dilakukan secara berurutan, yaitu : 1). Uji Pendahuluan; 2). Uji Toksisitas Lethal; 3). Uji Toksisitas Sub-lethal. Penentuan nilai LC50 96 jam menggunakan metode EPA probit dengan software probit analisis dalam program SPSS. Ikan uji yang digunakan selama penelitian adalah benih ikan Baung (H. nemurus) dengan ukuran 5 cm sebanyak 450 ekor yang diperoleh dari BBI Sei Tibun, Kampar. Jumlah padat tebar benih ikan Baung adalah sebanyak 10 ekor per wadah. Parameter yang diukur selama penelitian adalah bobot mutlak, panjang mutlak, laju pertumbuhan spesifik dan kelulushidupan. Untuk kualitas air antara lain suhu, pH, DO, CO2 dan amoniak.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, toksisitas limbah cair kelapa sawit dan uji sub-lethal memberikan pengaruh terhadap benih ikan Baung (H. nemurus). Selama pemeliharaan, diperoleh Nilai LC50 96 jam sebesar 230,57 ml/L sedangkan Nilai Batas Aman Biologi (Biological Safety Level) sebesar 2,30 ml/L. Selanjutnya, perlakuan terbaik terdapat pada P1 (2,30 ml/L konsentrasi limbah sawit), dengan nilai pertumbuhan bobot mutlak, yaitu 2,39 gram, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak, yaitu 3,14 cm, laju pertumbuhan spesifik, yaitu 3,42% dan kelulushidupan benih ikan Baung (H. nemurus),yaitu 93%. Parameter kualitas air seperti suhu air berkisar antara 26-280C, pH berkisar antara 5,6-8,0, DO berkisar antara 4,1-2,3 mg/L,CO2 berkisar antara 8,60-13,50 mg/L dan amoniak berkisar antara 0,018-0,056 mg/L.Kata kunci : Toksisitas, Sub-lethal, Limbah cair kelapa sawit, Ikan Baung

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted on August - Sept 2018 in the Kualu Nenas Village, Tambang District, Kampar regency, Riau Province. Objective of study was to determine the effect of different biomass A. microphylla increasing physics parameters of water on peatsoil.The method used in this study is an experimental method using a Complete Random Design (CRD) with 1 factor, 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatment used in this experiment are P0 (without biomass of Azolla michrophylla), P1 (biomass Azolla michrophylla 20 g/m2), P2 (biomass Azolla michrophylla 40 g/m2) and P3 ( biomass Azolla michrophylla 60 g/m2).The water quality parameters measured in this study are, turbidity, TSS and temperature.The results showed that biomass of Azolla microphylla had not significantly different effect on changes in physical parameters of water on peat soil ponds but for description analysis P3 different than P0,P1 and P2. The best results that can improve the physical parameters of peat water are found in the treatment of Azolla michrophylla 60 g / m2 (P3) by increasing the turbidity(12,50 NTU); TSS (150 mg/L) and temperature (26 – 29 0C). Keyword : Azolla michrophylla, Physics parameters, Peat soil

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted from October to November 2019 at the peatland of Kualu Nenas Village, Tambang District, Kampar District, Riau Province. The purpose of this research is to get a comparsion of the mixture between human waste biofertilizer and cow manure biofertilizer for increased nitrate. The method used in this study was the experimental method of using the Complete Random Draft (CRD) (sudjana, 1991) 1 factor with 6 treatment levels and 3 times repeated. The treatment used is P0 (without biological fertilizers), P1 (provision of biological fertilizer 100%), P2 (provision of biofertilizer mixture 25% human waste : 75% cow manure biofertilizer), P3 (provision of biofertilizer mixture 50% human waste : 50% cow manure biofertilizer), P4 (provision of biofertilizer mixture 75% human waste : 25% cow manure biofertilizer), P5 (the provision of biofertilizer 100% human waste). The study was conducted for 28 days, using a dose 750 gram/m2. The results of this study showed a mixture of biofertilizer 75% human waste : 25% cow manure biofertilizer provides the best solution for a nitrate that is soil nitrate at 2,24-7,67 and water nitrate at 1,41-4,75 with a peak increase in the day 14.Keywords: Peat Soil, Formulation Biofertilizer, Nitrate

Abstract

ABSTRACK            The research was conducted from 27 September to 27 Oktober 2018 in the Kualu Nenas village, Tambang subdistrict, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The aim of this research was to find out abudance of micro dan macrozoobentos in peat pond given biofertilizer dosis differentations. Method of this research is an experimental method using a Complete Random Design (CRD) with one factor, five treatments, and four replications is P0 (control/ non biofertilizer), P1 (doses 700 g biofertilizer formulations/m2), P2 (doses 750 g biofertilizer formulations/m2), P3 (doses 800 g biofertilizer formulations/m2), P4 (doses 850 g biofertilizer formulations/m2). Result of this research that the best of treatment was P2 (doses 750 g biofertilizer formulations/m2) showed the 46.410 Ind/m2 of microzoobentos  and the macrozoobentos abundance was the best on the P2 with is 37.740 Ind/m2.Kata Kunci: Biofertilizer, Microzoobentos, Macrozoobentos, Abundance of                                Microzoobentos and Abundance of Macrozoobentos

Abstract

The treatment used is P0 (without biological fertilizers), P1 (provision of biological fertilizer 100%), P2 (provision of biofertilizer mixture 25% human waste : 75% cow manure biofertilizer), P3 (provision of biofertilizer mixture 50% human waste : 50% cow manure biofertilizer), P4 (provision of biofertilizer mixture 75% human waste : 25% cow manure biofertilizer), P5 (the provision of biofertilizer 100% human waste). The study was conducted for 30days. The results of this research showed a mixture of biofertilizer 75% human waste : 25% cow manure biofertilizer provides the best solution on chlorophyll concentration, which is 0,037mg/L and highest concentration occurred on day 20. The water quality parameters analyzed during the research were optimal for changed in chlorophyll concentration with a water temperature of 27-29 oC, pH 5-7, DO 3,8-6,7 ppm, Nitrate 4,75 mg/L and Orthoposfat 3,50 mg/L.  Keywords: Peat Soil, Formulation Biofertilizer,Chlorophyll.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan dan reproduksi ikan dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal termasuk fotoperiod. Fotoperiod maupun pakan juga mempengaruhi perkembangan gonad. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei hingga Oktober 2018, untuk mengetahui pengaruh fotoperiod dan jenis pakan. Ikan dipelihara dalam bak  fiber berukuran 140 x 60 x 40 cm, dan diletakkan dibawah tenda plastik yang dilengkapi dengan lampu 35 watt (2100 Lumen). Terdapat 3 fotoperiod yang berbeda, yaitu 12 jam terang 12 jam gelap (12T12G), 16 jam gelap (16G8T), dan 24 jam gelap (24G) dan terdapat 3 kombinasi pakan dengan 70% pakan terdiri dari 15% udang dan 15% jangkrik (15U15J), 10% udang dan 20% jangkrik (10U20J), dan 20% udang dan 10% jangkrik (20U10J). Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok. Penyamplingan dilakukan sebanyak 6 kali, sekali seminggu. Parameter yang diukur adalah panjang total, bobot tubuh, faktor kondisi (FK), indeks gonadosomatik (IGS), indeks hepatosomatik (IHS) dan indeks viscerasomatik (IVS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fotoperiod an jenis pakan mempengaruhi pertumbuhan namun tidak mempengaruhi reproduksi ikan. Hasil terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan 24G10U20J, dengan TL 20,58 cm, BB 48,98 g dan FK 0,5 pada akhir penelitian. Pada semua perlakuan, ikan mencapai TKG 3  pada minggu ke-6, namun hanya 2 ekor ikan yang mencapai TKG 4 pada perlakuannn 16G8T20U10J. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemeliharaan O. hypopthalmus dalam keadaan gelap total memberikan hasil terbaik dalam pertumbuhan ikan, namun tidak mempengaruhi reproduksinya.

Abstract

Probiotik adalah mikroba hidup yang menguntungkan bagi ikandan bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan kesehatan ikan, memperbaiki nutrisi dalam pakan dan memperbaiki kualitas air.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan interval waktu pemberian probiotik terbaik ke media pemeliharaan terhadap pertumbuhan ikan nila salin (Oreochromis niloticus). Ikan uji yang digunakan adalah ikan nila merah yang telah diadaptasi pada media bersalinitas. Wadah yang digunakan adalah bak fiber dengan kapasitas 250 liter dengan padat tebar 300 ekor/m3 dan dipelihara selama 56 hari pada salinitas 17 ppt. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 2 faktor, yaitu faktor tetap (dosis 10 ml/m3)dan faktor bebas (interval waktu) dengan 4 taraf perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan, yaitu P0 (sekali selama pemeliharaan, P1 (5 hari sekali), P2 (10 hari sekali) dan P3 (15 hari sekali). Parameter yang diukur adalah pertumbuhan panjang dan bobot mutlak, laju pertumbuhan harian, kelulushidupan, konversi pakan dan efisiensi pakan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan interval waktu pemberian probiotik 5 hari sekali untuk pemeliharaan ikan nila salin sistim bioflok dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan bobot mutlak 36,04 g, panjang mutlak 8,41 cm, laju pertumbuhan harian 4,86%, kelulushidupan 94,44%, konversi pakan 0,86 dan efisiensi pakan 116,75%. Sedangkan kualitas air, seperti suhu 25,3-27,4oC, pH 7,0-8,1, DO 6,3-7,5 mg/L, CO22,34-9,32 mg/L, salinitas17-18,2 ppt, alkalinitas 40,0-66,7, NH30,001-1,50 mg/L, NO20,01-2,23 mg/L dan NO30,12-1,14 mg/L tergolong baik karena sudah sesuai dengan baku mutu budidaya ikan nila.Kata kunci : Oreochromis niloticus, Probiotik,bioflok, pertumbuhan

Abstract

The potential of fisheries in Koto Mesjid village XIII Koto Kampar districts has had a tremendous impact on people's income. The total area of ​​the Patin pond in Koto Mesjid village has reached 62 hectares. The production reaches six tons per day. Training in prediction the rate of sedimentation in intensive catfish aquaculture ponds in the village of Koto Mesjid has resulted in a way to monitor the quality of pond water through the measurement of suspended solids using a solid trap device. The average suspended solids at all pond ages are 19.5 ml / L per day and 129.25 ml / L per week. Based on this data, the management of the pond bottom must be carried out every harvest, mainly when drying the pond needs to drain mud. Patin fish farmers have very high enthusiasm to practice the tools in their respective ponds. The existence of this counseling is very useful in providing knowledge so that people who work as Patin fish farmers can manage the time to replace pond water easily.

Abstract

Pandau Jaya Village is one of the villages in Siak Hulu Subdistrict, Kampar Regency. The dedication activity was carried out in conjunction with the integrated student activities of UNRI in 2019 and in collaboration with partners (CV Bang Lele Indonesia) in the service activities. The purpose of this activity is to empower PKK members in making fermented herbal medicine, the results will be sold to CV Bang Lele Indonesia for use in feeding fish to aquaculture so as to enhance growth, health and disease resistance. The method used is, first the lecture and discussion method, namely the delivery of material related to the activities of making fermented herbs, then continued with the practice of making herbs, spreading fish seeds, and how to feed herbal medicine to fish that have been maintained by partners. The results of this community service activity, there were two participants who had succeeded in making fermented herbal medicine and immediately applied it in cultivation activities, while the other one only produced fermented herbal medicine and was sold to CV Bang Lele Indonesia. Observation of growth and survival. fish were observed for two months. The types of fish that are kept are catfish and tilapia. The results of the observations showed that the cultivated fish experienced rapid growth, that is, during the 60 days of maintenance there was an increase in the average length of 10 cm and a weight of 50 g for tilapia, whereas in catfish 12 cm and weighs 75 g.
