Abstract

In signal processing, often contaminated by other signal that has bad influence or called by noise. Noise will lose by using adaptive filter with predict method. This filter needs two inputs that are contaminated signal with delayed input as main input which use as training input and the other contaminated signal with input as reference input, so result of error is the success process of reduction noise. This filter use LMS filter of algorithm value variable with adapted process filter. Adaptive filter with predict method tested by noise signal. This filter tested by kind of variable value and μ. So, we will get a point of value, total of optimal value and also the μ optimal value.

Abstract

The Walet bird`s nests are believed to have some healing power for a number of diseases. Therefore, they are highly valued commercially, so that the drive to collect them are very strong from hazardous places such as caves,cliffs, steep shoves, dense forests, etc. Efforts to give artificial homes for the Walet birds are promising for business, espe-cially for the much lower workers safety risks and more stable best`s quantity produced. Some challenges have to be able to overcome resorting to the regulating power of a mi-crocontroller. First of all, to atract the birds, the design of would be home should be stu-died thoroughly, including its location away from the disturbing human activities. Second, the right indoor atmosphere condition should be guaranteed. A set of hardware can be developed to provide a monitoring system on the temperature, humidity as well as the illumination level of the room dedicated for the Walet. To maintain the right temperature and humidity, an automatic water sprayer unit is added during the dry days of the year. A programmable Walet sound reproducing equipment is vital to safe the farmer`s time to operate it manually.

Abstract

In this research analyzes the connection Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA) for uplink and downlink with imperfect sectorization. Because all channels are on the same frequency, so when the active user increases, the performance of system will decrease. In other words, it causes the capacity of system will decrease. In CDMA terminology, the other frequency of Mobile Station (MS) will get effect to the active MS. The co-channel interference can be decrease with splitting the cell into several sectors. It is called the sectorization. But the sectorization can work well because the antenna radiation can’t make the perfect angle and also there is existance of side lobe of radio frequency. The results show, the imperfect sectoration overlap angle between each neighboring sector decreases the capacity system cause more interference to overlapping sector pair. The knowledge gained is to neduce the large overlap angle and we can make the prediction the loss in cell capacity caused by interference.

Abstract

Room server is a room that is used to store server computers and network devices. Room server is important assets for companies or institutions that implement information technology as a support in their daily activities. The importance of that is because in the server room there are applications and databases that store all important and valuable information for the company or institution concerned, therefore the server room must always be in good condition. Design of temperature and humidity monitoring systemsis designed to detect changes in temperature and humidity in the room using ESP8266 Node MCU as the main control, then use DHT 11 as a temperature and humidity detection sensor, then the data will be sent to the Telegram application already installed on the smartphone and displayed in the LCD. If the MQ-2 gas sensor detects a smoke greater than 500 ppm, the buzzer active. With this tool, it is expected to be able to monitor the real time room temperature and humidity in the server room so that it can reduce the damage to the hard drive or other damage.

Abstract

Industry is one of the largest users of reactive power in the distribution of electric power. Industries use equipment such as induction motors, transformers and other equipment to support their production needs. Loads such as induction motors are inductive loads that require reactive power to operate. Reactive power in an electric power distribution network is a loss. Reactive power can reduce the effectiveness of the real power which is converted into active power so that the efficiency of real power usage is reduced. Installing a capacitor bank is one way to compensate for the use of reactive power in a load. Installing capacitor banks aims to improve the value of the power factor that has decreased due to the use of excessive reactive power loads. PLN has set a standard power factor value for consumers of 0.85 and reactive power consumption of 0.62 of the total power consumption. For this reason, it is necessary to carry out further analysis regarding the advantages and disadvantages of installing bank capacitors to improve the value of the power factor so that the ideal economic factor for consumers is obtained.

Abstract

Repeater strongly supports the use of radio communication equipment for communication. The location of the repeater is usually at a high altitude so that the repeater's radio wave beam is not blocked by anything. The repeater arrangement is done by going directly to the repeater location so it is very inefficient from the time and accommodation factor. Therefore, a study was conducted to control the radio repeater settings remotely in order to reduce the accommodation of repeater control by visiting the radio repeater location. Control of radio repeater settings uses DTMF (Dual Tone Multi-Frequency) technology which sends DTMF signals and then converts them to binary data to be processed into data that is used for repeater control such as turning on and off the radio, setting high and low power, and adjusting channels on the repeater. the radio repeater. This system is also equipped with sending notifications in the form of SMS of the repeater operational conditions or settings. The research resulted in a remote control system based on DTMF technology equipped with a GSM/GPRS SIM800L module which is used to connect a smartphone to the system and send repeater operational notifications after controlling the repeater setting function. By using Telkomsel provider, the resulting delay when sending orders is 0.5 seconds and the delay in receiving SMS notifications is 12.96 seconds. Meanwhile, using Indosat provider, the resulting delay when sending commands is 0.43 seconds and the delay in receiving SMS notifications is 10.57 seconds.

Abstract

Teknologi telekomunikasi dan teknologi internet merupakan teknologiyang paling digemari di seluruh dunia. Dalam perkembangan teknologi inimemungkinkan terobosan baru dalam belajar secara mobile menggunakanperangkat IT genggam atau disebut mobile learning (m-learning). M-Learning memiliki beberapa kelebihan di antaranya adalah kemampuanbelajar kapan-pun di mana-pun. Mobile learning (m-learning) berbasismultimedia pada implementasinya membutuhkan bandwith yang besar untukmengakses file-file video. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut dipilih teknologikomunikasi 3G karena memiliki kapasitas yang lebih besar dibandingteknologi sebelumnya. Problem yang ada adalah perangkat pembelajaran m-learning memiliki keterbatasan sumber daya dan keragaman platformsehingga diperlukan rancangan yang mampu menjamin kompatibilitas antaraberbagai macam platform. Perancangan ini bertujuan sebagai mediapembelajaran yang tak terbataskan ruang dan waktu.

Abstract

In this research has been developed a system to conrol robot which have four wheel as a base for wheeled robot contest. The type of wheel is omni-wheel, they are shapeed with same distance each other. This system comonly have no stright movement and have no consistent aim-face of the robot in open loop control. The control system in this research use PID method to control the speed of each wheel. It use to make robot can move strightly and consistent of aim-face of the robot. The test on this system show that rotation speed of each wheel are equal to set point which set to PID control. With tune the paramater of PID with manual tuning method the system get 2.81% motor speed error. And get 0.66% error of aim-face of robot from forward and backward movement.

Abstract

Robot bergerak membutuhkan navigasi dalam melakukan gerakan pada arah tertentu. Sehingga koordinasi antara piranti masukan-masukan berupa sensor posisi relatif terhadap titik acuan navigasi yang sudah dipetakan dengan piranti penggerak berupa motor. Koordinasi antara masukan dengan keluaran dijembatani oleh piranti pengendali. Piranti pengendali berfungsi sebagai otak sistem yang mampu membandingkan dan memberikan keputusan terhadap masukan menjadi sebuah keluaran berupa pergerakan robot berdasarkan pengetahuan yang ditanamkan maupun hasil pembelajaran dari kesalahan yang pernah terjadi. Dalam sistem robot tersusun tiga bagian sistem, yaitu perangkat mekanis, perangkat elektris dan perangkat lunak. Pada masing-masing bagian tersebut berpotensi untuk menimbulkan karakter-karakter baru baik disadari kemungkinan munculnya maupun yang tidak disadari kemungkinan munculnya.
