Abstract

Physiology is very important to study, especially in basketball. One of the functions of knowing the physiological parts of the sport of basketball is to ensure the health and performance of athletes during practice to competition, and can help achieve optimal results in competition. The purpose of this research is to analyze how physiological in the sport of basketball. The method used in this research is literature study by collecting information from various sources such as scientific articles from accredited journals. The results of this study are that the physiology of basketball can be divided into several aspects, including the cardiovascular system, respiratory system, musculoskeletal system, metabolic system, nervous system, and endocrine system. Through this understanding of physiology, athletes can adapt their training and diet to improve performance, prevent injury and achieve optimal results in competition.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) The difference in the effect between internal imagery training method and external imagery training method on forehand service accuracy in Sukoharjo table tennis athletes. (2). The difference in the effect of high concentration and low concentration on the accuracy of forehand service in Sukoharjo table tennis athletes. (3). The interaction between the two imagery training methods and the concentration on the accuracy of forehand service in coaching table tennis achievements at Universitas Tunas TPembangunan University. The population in this study is all table tennis achievement coaching students of Universitas Tunas Pembangunan Surakarta. The sample used uses Total Sampling technique with the number of ... 24... student. This research is an experimental method using a 2x2 factorial design design, therefore this method is validation, which is testing the influence of one or more variables on other variables. . Data collection is carried out by test and measurement techniques, namely forehand service accuracy tests. Data analysis was carried out with a double comparison technique with a signification level of 0.05.The results of this study are (1) There is no significant difference in influence based on the results of the analysis, significant value p 0.049 (rounded significance value 0.05). Since the significance value of p is0.05 < 0.05, Ho is accepted. Thus, there was no significant difference in influence between the higher internal imagery training method (good) with a posttest average value of 23,583 compared to the external imagery training method with a posttest average value of 22,417. Thus, it was concluded that the hypothesis was rejected. (2) There is a significant difference in influence based on the results of the analysis, the significance value of p is 0.000. Since the significance value of p is 0.000< 0.05, Ho is rejected. Thus there is a significant difference in influence between athletes who have high concentration and low concentration. Based on the results of the analysis, there were students who had a higher high concentration (good) with a posttest average score of 24,917 compared to athletes who had low concentration with a posttest average score of 21,083. Thus, it was concluded that the hypothesis was accepted. (3) There is a significant interaction of both imagery training methods (internal imagery and external imagery) and concentration (high and low) on the accuracy of forehand service in Sukoharjo table tennis athletes. This can be seen from the significance value of p of 0.026. Therefore the significance value of p is 0.026 < 0.05, meaning Ho is rejected.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) to determine the difference in the impact of circuit and load training methods on the results of free throw shots of male athletes of the triple V Karanganyar basketball club. (2) Know the practice method that is more effective against the results of basketball free throw shots. This research uses experimental methods in quantitative research. The subjects of the study consisted of 30 athletes of the triple V basketball club of Karanganyar Regency. This research was conducted in Gor Punokawan, Karanganyar Regency. To obtain the necessary data, a basketball shot test was used (Battery test from AAHPERD Basket Ball Test Manual from Johnson & Nelson, 1986: 275-279). The sampling technique used is total sampling. The samples were divided into two groups, namely group 1 consisting of 15 athletes given circuit training treatment, and group 2 consisting of 15 athletes given weighted training treatment. The data collection technique was carried out with a basketball free throw test. Data analysis techniques are carried out by statistical analysis using t tests at the level of significance of 5%. To meet the assumptions of the research results, normality tests, homogeneous tests, difference tests, and percentage increases were carried out. Based on the results of data analysis, the following conclusions were obtained: (1) there is a difference in impact between circuit training methods and weighted training, shown from the calculation results of the final test of each group 1, namely t_hitung = 2.735 and group 2 t_hitung = 2.628 which is greater than t_tabel = 2.145 with a signification level of 5%. (2) both training methods, namely Circuit and weighted, were shown to increase free throw results, with an increase of 16.22% < group 2 of 17.46%

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the difference in the effect of plyometrics split jumps and double leg speed hop training on T kick speed among Pencak Silat students at Tapak Siaga Rayon Banyuanyar. Based on the results of the data analysis, the conclusions obtained are: (1) There is a significant difference in influence between the Plyometrics split jumps method and the double leg speed hop on the speed of T kicks in Pencaksilat among Pencak Silat students at Tapak Siaga Rayon Banyuanyar in 2023. This is proven by the results of the final test calculations for each group, namely tcount = 3.160 which is smaller than ttable = 2.145 with a significance level of 5%. (2) Plyometrics split jumps training has a better effect than the double leg speed hop method on the speed of T kicks in Pencaksilat among Pencak Silat students Tapak Siaga Rayon Banyuanyar in 2023. Based on the percentage increase in T kick speed in pencaksilat, it shows that group 1 (the group that received treatment with the Plyometrics split jumps method) was 35.616% > group 2 (the group that received the Double leg speed hop) was 32.168%.
