Abstract

Latar belakang masalah pada penelitian ini adalah rendahnya disiplin kerja guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kecamatan Japah Kabupaten Blora. Masalah rendahnya disiplin kerja guru disebabkan beberapa faktor diantaranya adalah peran kepala sekolah, budaya organisasi dan motivasi kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengaruh peran kepala sekolah, budaya organisasi dan motivasi kerja terhadap disiplin kerja guru. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, sedangkan jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian korelasional non eksperimental. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru sekolah dasar negeri di Kecamatan Japah Kabupaten Blora yang berjumlah 191 orang. Jumlah sampel penelitian adalah 129 guru. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan analisis regresi linier sederhana dan analisis regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) terdapat pengaruh signifikan peran kepala sekolah terhadap disiplin kerja guru dengan besar pengaruh 49,9% dan persamaan regresi yang terbentuk adalah Y = 35,502 + 0,443X1; (2) terdapat pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap disiplin kerja guru dengan besar pengaruh 55,2% dan persamaan regresi yang terbentuk adalah Y = 29,846 + 0,591X2; (3) terdapat pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap disiplin kerja guru dengan besar pengaruh 70,4% dan persamaan regresi yang terbentuk adalah Y = 21,393 + 0,823X3; (4) terdapat pengaruh peran kepala sekolah, budaya organisasi, dan motivasi kerja terhadap disiplin kerja guru dengan besar pengaruh 71,3% dan persamaan regresi yang terbentuk adalah Y = 16,307 + 0,115X1 + 0,064X2 + 0,640X3.

Abstract

International Credit Transfer was held between Universitas PGRI Semarang and Don Mariano Marcos Memorial University (DMMMSU) Philippines. The students of UPGRIS would learn at DMMMSU for a semester. The language and cultural differences became challenges for the students to adapt to the learning situation. This matter brings psychological challenges for the students. Therefore, they had to promote coping strategies to manage their difficulties. This research determined the adaptive coping strategy of credit transfer students. This qualitative approach research provided the real experience and portrayal of a real research site by directly interacting with the research subjects. The researchers involved four students of the Guidance and Counseling program with credit transfer program status for a semester. The researchers collected the data with a structured interview and documentation. The applied analyses included three matters: data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results showed that every participant applied problem-focused coping, plain-problem solving, confrontative strategy, and social support search for instrumental reasons. Universities should provide psychological services to increasing international student’s stress managing skill.

Abstract

Berbagai kebijakan PAUD telah dibuat oleh Pemerintah dan Pemerintah Daerah, namun implementasinya belum memadai.  Tujuan artikel ini untuk mengetahui partisipasi peserta didik PAUD, kualitas layanan PAUD, dan kebijakan dalam pengutamaan atau pengarusutamaan PAUD. Artikel ini berdasarkan penelitian kebijakan dengan metode campuran kuantitatif-kualitatif berdesain concurrent embedded. Jumlah permasalahan ada tiga, dua masalah dianalisis secara kuantitatif, satu masalah dianalisis secara kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di lima daerah pada Juli-Desember 2022. Data kuantitatif terdiri dari data primer sekunder, data kualitatif berasal dari dokumen kebijakan. Data kuantitatif diolah dengan Excel, data kualitatif diolah dengan Nvivo 12 Plus. Novelty artikel ini adalah ditemukannya pengarusutamaan PAUD dalam kebijakan penddidikan yang belum pernah diteliti sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan partisipasi peserta didik dan kualitas layanan PAUD termasuk kategori menengah. PAUD diarusutamakan di 18 dokumen kebijakan. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi berharga akan pentingnya pengarusutamaan PAUD dalam kebijakan pendidikan di Indonesia.

Abstract

The background to this research is the low performance of state elementary school teachers in Blora sub-district, Blora Regency. The problem of low teacher performance is caused by several factors including transformational leadership style and the work environment. This research aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of transformational leadership style and the work environment on the performance of State Elementary School teachers in Blora District, Blora Regency. This type of research is quantitative research with an ex post facto approach. The population in this study were all state elementary school teachers in Blora District, Blora Regency, consisting of 386 teachers from 52 elementary schools. After formulating it using Slovin, a sample of 196 respondents was obtained. The data collection technique used was by giving questionnaires to respondents. Research results: (1) There is an influence of transformational leadership style on the performance of state elementary school teachers in Blora District, Blora Regency, which is expressed by the equation Y = 52.317 + 0.416X1. (2) There is an influence of the work environment on the performance of state elementary school teachers in Blora District, Blora Regency, which is expressed by the equation Y = 37.137 + 0.567X2. (3) There is an influence of transformational leadership style and work environment on the performance of state elementary school teachers in Blora District, Blora Regency, which is expressed by the equation Y = 23.057 + 0.233X1 + 0.483X2.

Abstract

The focus of this research is principal academic supervision in improving the quality of SD Hj. Isriati Baiturrahman 1 Semarang. The aims of this research are inline with the sub-focuses: to describe the planning of academic supervision in improving the quality of SD Hj. Isriati Baiturrahman 1 Semarang, describe the implementation of academic supervision in improving the quality of SD Hj. Isriati Baiturrahman 1 Semarang, describe the evaluation of academic supervision in improving the quality of SD Hj. Isriati Baiturrahman 1 Semarang and describe the follow-up to academic supervision in improving the quality of SD Hj. Isriati Baiturrahman 1 Semarang. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and document search. The data analysis is taken through the process of data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data using the credibility test, triangulation, and confirmability. Based on the results of the study, the conclusions can be drawn: planning for academic supervision is carried out by the principal together with the supervision team, the implementation of academic supervision at SD Hj. Isriati Baiturrahman 1 Semarang consists of three activities, namely supervision of learning tools, learning processes, and assessment of learning through class visits, evaluation and follow-up academic supervision in the form of constructive reprimands, reinforcement and awards and implementation of technical guidance and further training. The academic supervision activities have been proven to be able to improve the quality of SD Hj. Isriati Baiturrahman 1 Semarang.

Abstract

A school principal who has an entrepreneurial spirit means being a leader who has the ability and willingness to always innovate, work hard, have high motivation, never give up, look for and find opportunities, and influence school resources. The aim of the research is to describe and analyze the implementation of school principal entrepreneurship in improving quality at the Pekunden State Elementary School, Semarang City. The research approach used is qualitative. This type of research is a case study. Qualitative research design through data condensation, presenting data (data display), and drawing conclusions or verification (conclusion drawing and verification). Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. This research uses triangulation of sources and methods. Data analysis in three steps: data reduction, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that: 1) The school principal is proactive by inviting teachers, employees and students to have active dialogue and take a personal approach. 2) Innovative school principals by understanding the school environment around them, then not being shy about asking questions and collaborating and then having an out of the box mindset. The principal has imagination, has the power of ideas, is a creative person. 3) The principal's courageous attitude to take risks by analyzing the problems faced, then discussing them to find good alternatives and solutions. 4) The school principal works hard and never gives up by identifying various strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats facing the school, and being a role model in his work. 5) Motivation for achievement by school principals by analyzing programs and activities, conducting joint evaluations, analyzing student learning programs with the aim of making changes. The author suggests that school principals should further improve the implementation of entrepreneurship by being more proactive, innovative, having the courage to take risks, working hard and never giving up, and achieving motivation. Teachers are required to support and always be ready to carry out activities.

Abstract

Student satisfaction is very important in achieving educational goals. However, student satisfaction is not yet optimal. This is influenced by several factors: the quality of school services, the leadership of the school principal and learning facilities are important factors in determining the level of student satisfaction. The aims of this research are: (1) to determine the magnitude of the influence of school service quality on the satisfaction of Muhammadiyah Vocational School students throughout Jepara Regency; (2) to determine the magnitude of the influence of the principal's leadership on the satisfaction of SMKS Muhammadiyah students throughout Jepara Regency; (3) to determine the magnitude of the influence of learning facilities on the satisfaction of SMKS Muhammadiyah students throughout Jepara Regency; (4) to determine the magnitude of the influence of school service quality, school principal leadership, learning facilities on the satisfaction of Muhammadiyah Vocational School students throughout Jepara Regency. This research uses quantitative research with a non-experimental ex post facto type of research. The population in this study were 301 Muhammadiyah Vocational School students in Jepara Regency with a sample of 151 people using proportional random sampling techniques. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire method. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis, requirements testing and hypothesis testing using linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression with the SPSS version 20 program. The results of this research state that: (1) there is a significant influence of school service quality on student satisfaction with a large influence of 12% with the school service quality category being quite good; (2) there is a significant influence of the principal's leadership on student satisfaction with an influence of 6.4% and the principal's leadership category is quite good; (3) there is a significant influence of learning facilities on student satisfaction of 10.5% with the learning facilities category; (4) there is a simultaneous influence of service quality, principal leadership, learning facilities on student satisfaction with an influence of 17.8% with the level of satisfaction is quite good; (5) the total effective contribution is 17.73% with relative contribution (SR), SR X1 is 54%, SR X2 is 12% and SR X3 is 34%.

Abstract

The increasing development of technology can have both positive and negative impacts. One of the negative impacts caused by technological development is gadget addiction. Facts state that most teenagers today are addicted to gadgets. As a result, students spend a lot of time playing gadgets, reducing students' interaction with the environment and social. This study aims to determine the relationship between gadget addiction and social interaction in class X PPLG students of SMKN 11 Semarang. The population in this study were students of class X PPLG SMK Negeri 11 Semarang which consisted of 4 classes and totaled 144 students. Of these, 106 students were used as research samples. The research data was collected using a questionnaire distributed online and analyzed by regression analysis method using SPSS version 26. Based on the results of the analysis, it has been obtained sig value (2-tailed) on the correlation test of 0.000 <0.05 . Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between gadget addiction and social interaction in students.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan guru di HIMPAUDI terkait prevensi kekerasan seksual anak (KSA) melalui pelatihan, memperoleh dukungan orang tua dalam menerapkan pendidikan seksualitas sebagai prevensi KSA, meningkatkan keterampilan pemanfaatan IPTEKS dalam kurikulum anti kekerasan seksual (KAKS) melalui penerapan Seri Animasi Miko Mila dan Buku Komik Berseri tentang Organ Reproduksi, dan mendampingi guru dalam menyusun kurikulum KAKS. PKM menggunakan pendekatan pembangunan komunitas berfokus pada pengembangan komunitas. PKM melibatkan HIMPAUDI Kota Semarang sebagai subjek dan obyek melibatkan partisipan dalam kegiatan PKM untuk meningkatkan perannya dalam pengembangan kelompok. PKM dilaksanakan 6 bulan. Tim PKM memberikan materi pendidikan seksual berupa pencegahan KSA di sekolah, penanganan KSA di sekolah dan masyarakat, serta pelaporan pengaduan KSA di sekolah dan masyarakat. Hasil PKM diperoleh bahwa terdapat 7-8 partisipan guru memilih netral dan satu partisipan tidak setuju dengan indikator pendampingan KAKS. Keempat indikator tersebut memerlukan perhatian lebih dari tim pendamping KAKS. Misalnya, guru memerlukan peningkatan pengetahuan tentang evaluasi dan cara melakukan evaluasi KAKS. Pada indikator elaborasi materi KAKS, terdapat satu partisipan (TA) yang belum mengetahui dan mampu mempraktikan cara elaborasi materi. Maka, perlu perbaikan dalam pendampingan KAKS terutama evaluasi, elaborasi materi, dan tindak lanjut dari KAKS.
