Abstract

 The Effect of The Type and Concentration of The Receiving Phase on The Efficiency Of Silver Separation with Liquid Supported Membrane Techniques. The process of making negative x-ray films in a radiology laboratory produces liquid wastes containing various chemical compounds with the main content being Ag metal (in the form of Ag+ cations). This waste is categorized as a dangerous and toxic material. Therefore it is necessary to separate the Ag metal before it is discharged into the environment so as not to be harmful to life and the environment. One of the separation techniques that can be used is with supported fluid membrane technique (Supported Liquid Membrane, SLM). The supported liquid membrane has three important components: the feed phase containing the component to be separated, the membrane phase containing the carrier compound and the receiving phase containing the integral component. The three-phase composition determines the efficiency of the separation process. This study aims to identify the type and concentration of the receiving phase solution to improve silice metal separation efficiency by SLM technique. To obtain an efficient composition in the recipient phase was carried out by varying the type of acid received solution ie H3PO4, HNO3 and CH3COOH with respective concentrations of 0.01; 0.05; 0.10; 0.15; and 0.20 M. Measurement of metal ion concentration of Ag+ before and after transport was determined by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (SSA) at wavelength 328,22 nm. Based on the result of research that type and concentration of acid solution in the receiving phase has an effected on separation efficiency. The optimum transport percentage has obtained on the used of H3PO4 receptor solution at a concentration of 0.1 M with a percentage of Transport Ag of 46.84%.

Abstract

Sekolah SMKN 3 Mataram berada di wilayah Mataram. Lokasi sekolah terletak di Kecamatan Mataram, Kabupaten Mataram. Sekolah ini memiliki cukup banyak torehan prestasi di skala kabupaten maupun nasional. Namun, sebagian besar para guru jarang terlibat dalam kegiatan-kegiatan ilmiah yang dilakukan oleh Perguruan Tinggi. Sebagai dampaknya pengetahuan dan pemahaman para guru di sekolah ini masih kurang terkait dengan pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif ataupun inovasi-inovasi kegiatan pembelajaran lainnya. Tujuan pelaksanaan program PKM ini adalah: a) meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru tentang pembuatan media interaktif berbasis canva, b) melatih guru membuat media interaktif berbasis canva, c) melatih dan mendampingi cara penggunaan media interaktif berbasis canva dalam pembelajaran kimia di kelas. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yang akan dilakukan menggadopsi pola pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan meliputi empat tahap yaitu: 1) tahap perencanaan program dengan membentuk kelompok guru berdasarkan mata pelajaran, 2) tahap tindakan dengan memberikan pelatihan pembuatan media interaktif berbasis canva serta melatih dan mendampingi cara penggunaan media interaktif berbasis canva dalam pembelajaran kimia di kelas, 3) tahap observasi dan evaluasi yakni observasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui kendala-kendala, kekurangan-kekurangan, dan kelemahan-kelemahan yang muncul dalam proses pembuatan dan penggunaan media interaktif berbasis canva dalam pembelajaran kimia di kelas, sedangkan evaluasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana keberhasilan produk yang dihasilkan, 4) tahap refleksi dilakukan untuk mengetahui kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi dari kegiatan pelatihan yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa 20 peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan hanya 15 media interaktif yang dihasilkan sedangkan sisanya 5 media interaktif masih dilakukan proses perbaikan sesuai dengan saran dari tim pengabdi. Pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta setelah kegiatan praktik dan pendampingan langsung dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif sangat bagus yakni sebesar 100% pseserta sudah mengetahui media canva dan 90% peserta sudah mencoba menggunakan media canva dalam membuat media pembelajaran interaktif. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan PKM ini memberikan kebermanfaatan bagi peserta pelatihan baik dari segi pengetahuan maupun keterampilan dalam menghasilkan media interaktif sehingga secara tidak langsung mampu menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang menarik dan menyenangkan bagi siswa. Teacher Competency Improvement Through Canva-Based Interactive Media Creation Training  Abstract SMKN 3 Mataram School is located in the Mataram area. The location of the school is located in Mataram District, Mataram Regency. This school has quite some achievements at the district and national scale. However, most teachers are rarely involved in scientific activities carried out by universities. As a result, the knowledge and understanding of teachers in this school are still not related to creating interactive learning media or other learning activity innovations. The objectives of this PKM program are: a) improving teachers' knowledge and skills about making Canva-based interactive media, b) training teachers to make Canva-based interactive media and c) training and assisting how to use Canva-based interactive media in chemistry learning in the classroom. The method of implementing the activities that will be carried out adopts the pattern of implementing action research includes four stages, namely: 1) the program planning stage by forming teacher groups based on subjects, 2) the action stage by providing training on making Canva-based interactive media and training and assisting how to use Canva-based interactive media in chemistry learning in the classroom, 3) the observation and evaluation stage, namely observations are carried out to find out Obstacles, shortcomings, and weaknesses that arise in the process of making and using Canva-based interactive media in chemistry learning in the classroom, while the evaluation is carried out to find out the extent of the success of the product produced, 4) the reflection stage is carried out to find out the activities that have been carried out. Based on the results of the evaluation of the training activities that have been carried out, it shows that of the 20 participants who took part in the training activities only 15 interactive media were produced while the remaining 5 interactive media are still in the process of being improved according to the advice of the service team. The understanding and skills of participants after practical activities and direct assistance in making interactive learning media are very good, namely 100% of participants already know Canva media and 90% of participants have tried using Canva media in making interactive learning media. Thus, it can be concluded that this PKM activity provides benefits for trainees both in terms of knowledge and skills in producing interactive media so that it is indirectly able to create an interesting and fun learning atmosphere for students.

Abstract

Daging ayam broiler yang populer di Indonesia memiliki beberapa keunggulan, seperti kandungan gizi yang tinggi, ketersediaan yang luas di pasar tradisional, harga yang terjangkau, rasa yang disukai oleh semua kalangan masyarakat dan berbagai usia, serta kemudahan dalam pengolahan, yang semuanya berkontribusi pada peningkatan konsumsi ayam yang signifikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas daging ayam yang beredar di Pasar Tradisional di Kota Mataram dengan menggunakan uji H2S dan uji organoleptik. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode Random Sampling yakni teknik penentuan penentuan sampel berdasarkan pertimbangan tertentu. pada penelitian ini dapat diketahui hasil yang sudah di uji yaitu secara umum hasil uji H2S dan hasil uji organoleptik daging ayam di Pasar Tradisional Kota Mataram berkualitas baik dapat dilihat dari sisi penampakan, aroma, tekstur, rasa, warna. Hanya terdapat 1 sampel yang positif secara uji H2S dan uji organoleptik.

Abstract

practicum manuals available so students only used practicum guides from textbooks. This causes ineffective practicum activities which have an impact on students' low science process skills.The aim of this research is to develop nature-based practicum instructions, and determine the characteristics and feasibility of practicum instructions, as well as determine student responses to the practicum instructions developed. The research method used is Research and Development or R&D with the 4D development model (define, design, develop, disseminate). Data collection techniques use observation sheets and questionnaires. The research results obtained an average value from the validation of the expert team, namely 87.69% with very feasible criteria. Validation results from practitioners obtained an average of 96% with very feasible criteria. The results of the student questionnaire responses obtained an average of 82.75% with very feasible criteria and the results of observations of science process skills obtained an average of above 75% for each aspect with very feasible criteria. It can be concluded that the nature-based practical instructions that have been developed still need to be carried out in the next stage and are very suitable for use in experiments.

Abstract

In the Radiochemistry course so far there have been no experimental activities because there are no laboratory facilities.  However, with the use of technology, students can now easily access a wealth of educational resources online. This research aims to determine the effect of using the PhET Simulations as a virtual laboratory on students' problem solving skills. This research used mixed methods that combines quantitative and qualitative research. A quasi-experiment was carried out using a one group pretest-posttest design then continued with in-depth interviews. The instruments used in this research consisted of written tests to collect data on problem solving skills, questionnaires to collect student response, and interview guides to collect data on the problem solving process. Data in the form of problem solving skills were analyzed statistically using the SPSS 22.0 program while data obtained through questionnaires and interviews were analyzed descriptively. The results of the hypothesis test using Wilcoxon signed rank test show a significant value of 0.001, which means that PhET simulations as a virtual laboratory improve students’ problem solving skills. Students are divided into high-medium-low groups based on problem solving ability and the majority of students are in the medium-ability group. Students responded positively to PhET Simulations as a virtual laboratory. In addition, interview transcripts provide an overview of how students think when solving chemistry problems.
