Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the learning community on computer-based statistic acceptance. Acceptability is measured with perceived usefulness variables, perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment, and reuse intention. This study used quasi-experimental design. To selecting the respondents, researchers used cluster random sampling and a questionnaire to collect the data. Respondents consisted of 207 accounting students of which 86 were engaged in the learning community while 121 were not. One-way ANOVA analysis result showed that students who participated in the learning community have better computer-based statistic acceptance than the students who did not. The learning community was found to be able to facilitate the transfer of knowledge among students more freely than in the classroom. Further research can consider true-experimental design or lab experiment with more rigorous manipulation for controlling bias from another variable that may consist.

Abstract

This study examined the three dimensions that should exist in a learning community, namely Student Cohesiveness, Integration, and Task Orientation, related to their influence on attitude toward computer-based statistics. Attitude toward computer-based statistics itself is measured using constructs of the revised Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This study was designed to justify the value of information systems (IS) in overcoming accounting students' statistical problems. The use of IS probable to reduce the pressure in dealing with statistics so that there is an opportunity to increase accounting students' competitive advantage. The respondents consisted of 105 undergraduate accounting students. The data was collected using a 5-scale Likert questionnaire then analyzed using Structural Equational Modelling (SEM). With purposive sampling, this study was collected 105 responses obtained from private and state universities. The results indicate that task orientation is the key indicator of the learning community, affecting attitude toward computer-based statistics. Meanwhile, the second-order factors show that all three predictors were essential in explaining attitude toward computer-based statistics and significantly impacted Reuse Intention. This study also suggests implementing an informal learning community to build learning dynamics that are more independent but still controllable so that the learning topic is integrated with certain subjects.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  menganalisis  kelemahan-kelemahan  dalam  penerapan sistem pengendalian intern pemerintah daerah.  Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh inspektorat di pemerintah kabupaten/kota di Sumatera Utara, termasuk Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Sampel yang diambil menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Sumber data penelitian  ini adalah data primer dengan teknik pengutipan melalui kuisioner.  Teknik analisis  data  yang  digunakan adalah  teknik  deskriptif.  Hasil  analisis  data  mendapati bahwa masih terdapat berbagai kelemahan dalam penerapan sistem pengendalian intern pemerintah daerah. Kelemahan tersebut antara lain kelemahan dalam hal Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM), atau tepatnya sistem informasi akuntansi dan pelaporan belum didukung SDM yang memadai. Selain itu kelemahan pada kelemahan dalam pengelolaan fisik aset. Oleh karena itu pemerintah daerah diharapkan terus melakukan pembenahan dalam penerapan sistem pengendalian intern pemerintah daerah agar tujuan dari penerapan sistem tersebut dapat tercapai.Kata kunci : Sistem pengendalian intern pemerintah, kelemahan sistem, pemerintah daerah

Abstract

Berdasarkan Peraturan Bank Indonesia (PBI) Nomor 13/1/PBI/2011 tanggal 5 Januari 2011 tentang Penilaian Tingkat Kesehatan Bank Umum, maka penilaian tingkat kesehatan bank menggunakan analisis RGEC. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesehatan bank-bank BUMN yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dengan menggunakan Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earning, dan Capital (RGEC). Penelitian ini menggunakan bank-bank BUMN yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia sebagai subjek penelitian. Data yang digunakan adalah laporan keuangan tahun 2013-2016. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran kepada para stake holder bank, terutama masyarakat, tentang peringkat kesehatan bank-bank BUMN yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dengan menggunakan analisis RGEC. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data didapati bahwa Secara umum tingkat kesehatan bank BUMN masuk kategori sangat baik dan baik. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari nilai-nilai rasio keuangan dan dibandingkan dengan peringkat komposit yang telah ditetapkan oleh Bank Indonesia. Namun untuk rasio LDR, khusus Bank Tabungan Negara masuk dalam predikat kurang baik

Abstract

This study examines the influence of organizational culture and leadershipstyle as moderating variables on the relationship between budgetary participationand managerial performance. This study used employee oriented vs. job orienteddimension for organizational culture, and consideration and initiating structuredimensions for leadership style.Questionnaire survey were used and data were analyzed using moderatedregression model. The results of this study showed that budgetary participation has apositive effect on managerial performance. The results also showed thatorganizational culture moderates the relationship between budgetary participationand managerial performance. More specifically, job oriented organizational culturehas a negave influence to the relationship between budgetary participation andmanagerial performance. As for the leadership style, the results showed thatleadership style do not moderate the relationship between budgetary participationand managerial performance.

Abstract

Innovation in creating learning media so that it can adapt to technological developments is an innovation that is needed in learning. This study aims to develop interactive learning media based on Android and HTML assisted by Lectora Inspire and then also analyze the feasibility, effectiveness and practicality of the media developed into general journal material. The development of this interactive learning media was developed using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collection instruments used validation sheets, pre-test post-test sheets and also student response sheets. The material expert validation score was 94% with the very feasible category, the media expert validation score was 100% with the very feasible category, the learning practitioner validation score was 96.3% with the feasible category, and the user validation score was 98.1% with the very feasible category. With an average score of 97.1%, the media is considered very feasible to use. The practicality of the media gets a score of 82.15% which is in the very practical category, and the effectiveness of the media gets a score of 82.85% in the effective category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menilai dampak gabungan model PBL dan TGT terhadap aktivitas serta hasil belajar peserta didik dalam akuntansi keuangan. Dilakukan dalam dua siklus yang masing-masing terdiri dari dua pertemuan, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui observasi dan tes, serta menganalisisnya dengan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Fokus penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas XI AKL di SMK Swasta Brigjen Katamso II Medan pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan signifikan dari siklus pertama ke siklus kedua, dengan ketuntasan aktivitas belajar naik dari 71,42% menjadi 92,86% dan hasil belajar dari 69,06% menjadi 92,86%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa kombinasi PBL dan TGT terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman peserta didik, serta memberikan kontribusi berarti untuk pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih baik di masa mendatang

Abstract

Dalam rangka mendukung keberhasilan perkuliahan pasar modal, Fakultas Ekonomi Unimed membuka Galeri Investasi dan Pasar Modal. Selain berfungsi sebagai laboraturium pasar modal, galeri investasi dan pasar modal juga diharapkan tidak hanya memperkenalkan Pasar Modal dari sisi teori saja akan tetapi juga prakteknya. Kedepannya melalui Galeri Investasi dan Pasar Modal yang menyediakan real time information untuk belajar menganalisa aktivitas perdagangan saham, diharapkan dapat menjadi jembatan menuju penguasaan ilmu pengetahuan beserta prakteknya di pasar modal, sehingga intensi mahasiswa untuk berinvestasi semakin tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran galeri investasi dan pasar modal dalam menumbuhkan intensi berinvestasi mahasiswa di Jurusan Akuntansi sekaligus mengembangkan model peningkatan intensi mahasiswa di lingkungan Jurusan Akuntansi dalam berinvestasi melalui optimalisasi pemanfaatan galeri investasi dan pasar modal. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah para responden yang terdiri dari dosen, mahasiswa, kepala laboratorium galeri investasi dan pasar modal dan literature terkait. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah in-depth interview, FGD, dan observasi dokumen. Data yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan model analisis dari Huberman. Luaran wajib yang ditargetkan adalah artikel ilmiah dimuat di prosiding internasional terindeks, artikel yang dipublikasika dalam jurnal nasional terakreditasi, dan hak atas kekayaan intelektual laporan penelitian. Diukur dari Tingkat Kesiapterapan Teknologi (TKT), penelitian ini berada pada TKT 5. Penelitian ini direncanakan akan terlaksana mulai dari bulan Februari sampai Oktober tahun 2024.
