Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh puree tomat terhadap berat testis, volume testis, diameter tubulus seminiferus, dan jumlah sel Leydig tikus putih. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimental menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) non faktorial menggunakan 25 ekor tikus putih. Penelitian ini mempunyai lima taraf perlakuan yaitu P0 sebagai kontrol tidak diberi perlakuan; P1 diberi MSG 0,96gr/200gr BB setiap hari selama 15 hari; P2 diberi MSG 0,96 gr/200gr BB selama 15 hari setelah itu diberi 0,74gr/200 gr BB puree tomat selama 30 hari; P3 diberi MSG 0,96 gr/200gr BB selama 15 hari setelah itu diberi 1,49gr/200 gr BB puree tomat selama 30 hari; P4 diberi MSG dengan dosis 0,96 gr/200gr BB selama 15 hari setelah itu diberi 2,24gr/200 gr BB puree tomat selama 30 hari. Data yang diperoleh diuji dengan ANOVA kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa puree tomat berpengaruh secara nyata terhadap berat testis dan jumlah sel Leydig. Dan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap volume testis dan diameter tubulus seminiferus.

Abstract

Dug well water is a source of clean water that is used by 99.39% of the residents of Sido Makmur Village, Kuala District, Langkat District to meet their daily needs. The majority of people who have cow pens around dug wells trigger the importance of conducting microbiological water quality research, given the existence of dug wells that are very vulnerable to cow manure contamination. Therefore the research sample was taken based on the distance of the dug well with a cattle pen that is less than 5 meters. Five samples from Inpres Hamlet, Petak Dua Hamlet, Handayani Hamlet, Sidorejo Hamlet and Mandailing Hamlet were tested using the Most Probable Number (MPN) method in the North Sumatra Province Health Laboratory, to determine the presence of Coliform and Escherichia coli through the estimation test, assertion test , and test the completeness and coloring of grams. Then a biochemical reaction test is performed to confirm the presence of Escherichia coli. The results showed that all dug well water samples with sample codes ASG 01, ASG 02, ASG 03, ASG 04 and ASG 05 were positively polluted by Coliform through assertion tests with total Coliform exceeding the 80% threshold and below the threshold of 20% based on Minister of Health Regulation No. 416 / MENKES / PER / IX / 1990 concerning Requirements and Supervision of Water Quality. Then there is also the content of Escherichia coli in the five samples which exceeds the established threshold, the positive results of E.coli have also been strengthened through the results of gram staining and biochemical reaction tests. Therefore the dug well water samples tested are not feasible or do not meet the microbiological quality requirements for clean water.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan Numbered Heads Together (NHT) pada materi sistem peredaran darah manusia di kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 9 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 9 Medan dan sampel yang diambil secara random sampling sebanyak 72 siswa. Alat yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah tes yang berbentuk soal pilihan ganda yang terdiri dari 25 soal. Hasil analisis data penelitian diketahui bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara kelas inkuiri terbimbing dan Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dimana rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing adalah 83,22 sedangkan Numbered Heads Together (NHT) adalah 80,00. Adanya perbedaan hasil belajar tersebut juga terbukti melalui pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t dan taraf kepercayaan α = 0,05, dimana thit > ttab (1,94 > 1,67) yang berarti dalam penelitian ini H0 ditolak sekaligus menerima Ha yang berarti bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar sswa menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan Numbered Heads Together (NHT) pada materi sistem peredaran darah manusia di kelas XI IPA SMAN 9 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2015/2016.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of student biology learning using mnemonic method on protista material in grade X SMA Budi Murni 3 Medan School Year 2017/2018. The population of this study were all students of grade X SMA Budi Murni 3 Medan which amounted to 67 students consisting of two classes namely X A and X B. Sampling in this study was done randomly (random sampling) that is class X A consisting of 32 students. This research is a pre-experiment research. Instruments used to collect data are objective tests in multiple choice that have been tested to try validity, reliability, difficulty and distinguishing power. The instrument used is 25 questions. From the data analysis, students recalled in classical manner that is 70,5%. Based on the results of the data, the effectiveness can be illustrated with individual students' recollections of 15 students having R ≥ 70 (46.87%), 11 students having 60 <R <70 (34.37%) and 6 students having R <60 (18 , 75%). The effectiveness of treatment is not met where t count is greater than ttable that is 15,33> 1,6955 so H1 accepted where there is difference siginfikan between result of posttest and retest. So it can be concluded that the use of methods of mnemonics in protista material in grade X SMA Budi Murni 3 Medan Year Learning 2017/2018 is not effective.Keywords: Mnemonics, Effectiveness, Memory

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek TerhadapKeterampilan Proses Sains dan Hasil Belajar Biologi Siswa Materi Ekosistem Kelas X SMA Negeri 5 KotaTanjungbalai Tahun Pembelajaran 2015/2016. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMANegeri 5 Kota Tanjungbalai yang berjumlah 8 kelas, pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan randomsampling, sehingga sampel yang digunakan ada dua kelas. Kelas X-1 berjumlah 32 siswa sebagai kelas kontrolyang diajarkan dengan metode ceramah dan kelas X-4 berjumlah 32 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen yangdiajarkan dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Instrumen penilaian dalam penelitian ini adalah berupates yang terdiri dari 25 soal berbentuk pilihan berganda dengan bobot nilai 4, sedangkan untuk instrumenpenilaian keterampilan proses sains digunakan lembar observasi dan rubrik penilaian. Hasil penelitian inimenunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap keterampilan proses sains denganrata-rata nilai hasil kegiatan proyek untuk kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi yakni dengan skor 15,41 denganpersentase kategori baik 53,13% sedangkan dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yakni dengan skor 7,63 denganpersentasi kategori baik 6,25%. Sedangkan untuk hasil belajar ada pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis proyekdengan rata-rata nilai post-test untuk kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi yakni 82,19 ±11,98 dibandingkan dengankelas ceramah yakni 75,63 ± 11,27 . Sehingga dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis proyekterhadap keterampilan proses sains dan hasil belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen.Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran, Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek, Ceramah, Ekosistem

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran koperatif tipe Cooperative Script dan Think Pair Share pada materi struktur tumbuhan di kelas XI MIA SMA Swasta Hang Tuah Belawan Tahun pembelajaran 2018/2019. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIA yang terdiri dari 4 kelas dengan jumlah siswa rata-rata 36 orang. Sampel pada penelitian diambil secara random sampling sebanyak 2 kelas yaitu kelas XI MIA 2 yang berjumlah 37 dan XI MIA 4 berjumlah 36 orang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diketahui bahwa hasil belajar siswa dari kelas Cooperative Script dan kelas Think Pair Share berdistribusi normal dan memiliki varians yang seragam (homogen), sementara berdasarkan perolehan hasil belajar siswa terlihat ada perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan dengan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas Cooperative Script sebesar 75,13 sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas Think Pair Share sebesar 82,63. Adanya perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada kedua kelas tersebut dibuktikan melalui pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t dengan taraf kepercayaan α = 0,05 harga thitung<ttabel (-3,4153<1,9837) Ha di terima di wilayah pihak kiri sekaligus menolak H0. Sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model Cooperative Script dan Think Pair Share pada materi struktur tumbuhan di kelas XI MIA SMA Swasta Hang Tuah Belawan T.P 2018/2019.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Cooperative Script, Think Pair Share, Struktur Tumbuhan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the POE learning model on student learning outcomes and retention. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-test, posttest, and retest design. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental research with a research sample of class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Aek Natas in the 2020/2021 learning year. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. The data analysis technique used is to test the hypothesis using the T-test at a significant level of α = 5%. If the price of the F-count is greater than Ftable, then H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted. Learning outcomes are measured by giving a posttest to students, while retention is measured by providing a retest for 14 days two times. The mean of learning outcomes in the experimental class was 83.88, while the mean learning outcomes in the control class were 78 so that there was a difference in learning outcomes between the control class and the experimental class by 5.88 points. The average retention 1 in the experimental class was 97.07%, while the average retention 1 in the control class was 88.06%, so that there was a point difference of 9.01%. The second retention means results in the experimental class obtained 95.77%, while in the control class, it was 79.53% so that there was a point differential of 16.24%. The experimental class decreased retention points 1 to 2 by 1.3% and for the control class by 8.53%. This study indicates that there is an effect of the POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model on student learning outcomes and retention of plant tissue material.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes and convey information to students taught using the Picture and Picture and Inside-Outside Circle learning model on virus material in class X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Siborongborong. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling technique, with 32 students as the first experimental class (I) using the Picture and picture model, and 31 students as the second experimental class (II) using the Inside outside circle model. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The hypothesis testing results using the Independent Sample T-test showed that the student learning outcomes obtained the sig value. 0.029 <0.05, while the ability to convey student information obtained a sig value. 0.031 <0.05. The hypothesis testing results show differences in learning outcomes and students' ability to convey information using the Picture and Picture and Inside-Outside Circle learning model on virus material in class X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Siborongborong.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the feasibility of integrated interactive multimedia learning materials for character education for class XI MIA SMA Negeri 13 Medan T.P 2021/2022; (2) The feasibility of integrated interactive multimedia learning media for character education for class XI MIA SMA Negeri 13 Medan T.P 2021/2022; (3) Biology teacher's response to interactive multimedia integrated character education on plant tissue material in class XI MIA SMA Negeri 13 Medan; (4) Student responses to interactive multimedia integrated character education in plant tissue material in class XI MIA SMA Negeri 13 Medan T.P 2021/2022; (5) the effectiveness of the use of Integrated Interactive Multimedia Character Education on plant tissue material developed to improve learning outcomes; (6) implementation of character values applied to interactive multimedia integrated character education developed in the learning process. This type of research is development research with a modified 4-D product development model as needed. The test subjects consisted of material experts, media experts, biology teacher assessments, responses from class XI MIA 7 students at SMA Negeri 13 Medan, 6 students from class XI MIA 7 at SMA Negeri 13 Medan in the small group test, and 30 students from class XI MIA 7 at SMA Negeri 13 Medan in a limited group trial. Product development quality data were collected by questionnaire. Data were analyzed by quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The results showed that: (1) Material expert validation was in the "Very Eligible" criteria (88.32%); (2) Validation of media experts is in the criteria of "Very Eligible" (93.6%); (3) The assessment of biology teachers is in the "very appropriate" criteria (92.6%); (4) The small group trial was met with the criteria of "Very Good" (89.16%); (6) In the limited group trial, the criteria were "Very Good" (92.5 %).

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the feasibility level of digestive system learning multimedia developed using Android Studio as a source of student self-study based on the responses of material experts, media experts, biology teacher, and students. The research used a 4-D model of instructional development design, including the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages, limited to the limited deployment stage to see students' classical learning completeness. Research preparation began in September – January 2022. Product trials are carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Kutabuluh. The results showed that the Learning Multimedia that had been developed was feasible to be used as a source of student self-study because it met the eligibility criteria with an average score of 4.3 from material experts who were included in the very good criteria, an average score of 4.4 from media experts who included in the very good criteria, the average score of 4.9 from the subject teachers included in the very good criteria, and the average score of 4.82 from the large group trial students who were included in the very good criteria. Classical learning completeness of students in a limited distribution got a percentage of 94%.
