Abstract

This study intention to predispose wheeveryr the independent variables such as the total of micro and small industries (IMK), the total of labors, wages and average working hours have an impact on the dependent variable, namely the micro and small industry income (IMK) in 35 regencies/cities of the province Central Java during the 2018-2020 period. The data found came from the Central Java Province Central Statistics Agency (BPS), using panel data analysis methods and tools. Fixed Effect Model (FEM) is the best model chosen. The research results show that IMK and wage variables have a significant negative impact on micro and small industry income, while the total of labor variables have a significant positive impact on micro and small industry income. Meanwhile, the variable average working hours has no effect on micro and small industry income in Central Java Province during the 2018-2020 period.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of monetary policy (interest rates and inflation) and economic factors (foreign direct investment and domestic product growth) on employment opportunities in ASEAN-6 countries. In this research using Quantitative Research Methods, the regression used is panel data regression with a random effect model using Eviews-10 software. This research shows that monetary policy (interest rates and inflation) and economic factors (foreign direct investment and domestic product growth) jointly influence employment opportunities. Individually, monetary policy (interest rates and inflation) does not affect employment opportunities. Meanwhile, the economic factors explained by foreign investment have a positive and significant influence on employment opportunities, while the growth of domestic products has a negative and significant influence on employment opportunities.

Abstract

The purpose of this quantitative study is to ascertain how the DJIA, inflation, exchange rate, BI Rate, and currency volume affect the Indonesia Stock Exchange's composite stock price index. The research's data set spans the years 2019 through 2023. Methodologically, F and t-tests are used for hypothesis testing in conjunction with multiple linear regression. Furthermore, the research employs the R2 square, with a significant threshold of 5%. In this study, autocorrelation, multicollinearity, residual normality, and heteroscedasticity tests were employed. The money supply and BI rate have no discernible impact on the IHSG. The Dow Jones index, exchange rates, and inflation all have a big impact on the Jakarta Composite Index.

Abstract

The Human Development Index (HDI) is a crucial metric for assessing the quality of life and welfare in a region. However, Sub-Saharan African countries continue to encounter challenges in improving their HDI. This research aims to analyze the effects of economic growth, population growth, the Corruption Perception Index, and unemployment rates on HDI across 43 Sub-Saharan African nations from 2018 to 2022. The analytical approach employed includes panel data regression with Pooled Least Square (PLS), Fixed Effect Model (FEM), and Random Effect Model (REM). The Chow test and Hausman test are utilized to identify the most suitable estimation model. The findings indicate that the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) is the most appropriate model, demonstrating the significant impact of population growth and the Corruption Perception Index on HDI in these countries. Conversely, economic growth and unemployment rates do not show a significant influence. Among the 43 Sub-Saharan African nations, Mauritius stands out with the highest HDI, while Niger has the lowest.

Abstract

Temuan menunjukkan FEM paling representatif.
