Abstract

Studi tentang pendidikan karakter sampai saat ini masih menjadi topik menarik untukdikaji.Bahkanmodelpengembanganterhadapimplementasipendidikankarakterterusdisempurnakanuntukmendapatkanformulayangideal.Bukansaja,karenaPendidikankarakter telah menjadi kebijakan sistem Pendidikan Nasional, melainkan Pendidikan karaktersemakinmenemukansignifikansinyamempersiapkangenerasiungguldalampercaturanyangsemakin global. Pendidikan karakter di SMA Taruna Nusantara menjadisuatu upaya mewujudkangenerasibangsayangcerdas,santun,tanggap,tanggon,trengginassertamemilikiakhlakmuliayangmerupakancerminkepribadianbangsaIndonesia.KeberhasilanPendidikankarakteryangdijalankanolehSMATarunaNusantaramengisyaratkanbahwapembelajarantidaksertamertadilihat dari perspektif ranah kognitif saja melainkan bagaimana keseimbangan ranah kognitif,afektifdanpsikomotoryangmuaranyaadalahmewujudkanmanusiaseutuhnyadengankarakteryang baik.KondisipandemiCovid-19saatinimenjaditantanganbagiduniapendidikan,khususnya pendidikan formal dalam upaya menerapkan pendidikan karakterbangsa kepadapeserta didik. Pembelajaran selama pandemic hanya dilakukan dengan daring, sehingga inimenjadi tantangan SMA Taruna Nusantara dalam proses melaksanakan pendididkan karakter.Disisi lain pendidikan karakter yang diterapkan secara daring akan memberikan kesempatanbagi peserta didik dalam mengaktualisasukan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter di lingkungankeluargadanmasyarakatdalamupayakeikutsertaanpencegahandanpenanggulanganpandemic covid-19 dengan memberi contoh pola hidup sehat dan peserta didik dapat menjadicontohdutaprotokol kesehatan dilingkungantempattinggal siswapadasituasipandemi. Teknikpengumpulandatayangdigunakanadalahobservasi,wawancara,dokumentasi,Keseluruhandatayangterkumpulakandianalisissecarakualitatif.HasilPenelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran daring dimasa pandemic covid-19 memangperlukreatifitas,apalagijikaberkaitandenganpendidikankarakterperluadanyasinergiantarapamong-siswa-orangtua supaya pendidikan karakter tercapai, sehingga dapat menjadi bekaluntuk siswa dalam menapaki cita-cita dan masa depan. Kesuksesan seseorang tidak hanyaditentukan seberapa tinggi pendidikan dan nilai akademik yang dicapai, tetapi kesuksesanseseorangditentukan jugaoleh karakter  (attitude)yang baik.

Abstract

Fine arts learning really participates in growing and developing all the competencies possessed by students. Fine arts learning at school includes creative activities to gain knowledge and skills in producing creative works of art, including relief printmaking. The fine arts learning service program for creating relief printmaking at SMP N 1 Mlati, Sleman, Yogyakarta provides benefits for the development of cultural arts materials in schools, because creating relief printmaking on canvas bag media is a new thing for students. The activities of this program include pre-program implementation activities, which are activities for preparing materials, lesson plans, media, and learning models. Program implementation activities are visual arts learning activities creating relief printmaking for class IX. Post-implementation activities of the program are evaluation activities of the community service program, namely filling out items by students related to the implementation of the community service program. Overall the results of the evaluation of the program that we implemented received a positive response as much as 87.3% of students strongly agreed that the program was in accordance with their needs. 88.26% strongly agreed that the program could increase learning motivation and a score of 88.03% stated that the program could encourage students' abilities. Then in the program aspect it can be useful for students obtaining a score of 89.9% and in the program aspect giving rise to student empowerment obtaining a score of 85.6%.

Abstract

Analysis of Final Project Standards in Visual Communication Design (VCD) in Relation to the Needs of the Creative Industry for Preparing Professional Teachers. This research aims to explore the Final Project of students, which is one of the mandatory requirements that must be fulfilled before students can be declared graduated by a Higher Education institution. In the Fine Arts Education study program, there is still no standard for the final project, especially for students who take topics related to Visual Communication Design (VCD). The final project should have a standard to produce professional graduates. This standard will later serve as a guideline that facilitates students in the process of creating a design product. The aim of this research is to describe the types of Final Project topics chosen by VCD students, describe the standards of VCD students' Final Projects based on the topics, and describe the evaluation and assessment process of the VCD students' Final Projects. The methodology used is descriptive qualitative, utilizing literature studies and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The FGD was conducted with experts and practitioners to formulate the standard for VCD students' Final Projects.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian merupakan pendampingan dalam pembelajaran seni rupa membuat karya seni montage di SMP Budi Utama Yogyakarta pada kelas VIII yang bertujuan untuk 1) Menumbuhkan kreativitas siswa dalam menyusun dan menyusun berbagai gambar yang diperoleh sesuai dengan tema dan kreativitas yang diinginkan. 2) Memperkenalkan alat, bahan dan teknik serta melatih keterampilan teknis dalam membuat karya seni montage yang meliputi pemilihan gambar, pemotongan gambar, penyusunan dan penempelan gambar. 3) Membangun rasa percaya diri dalam menuangkan ide dan pengalaman melalui karya seni montage serta menyajikannya. 4) Meningkatkan apresiasi siswa terhadap pemanfaatan berbagai media, teknik dan proses kreatif dalam menghasilkan karya seni montage. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam 3 tahap kegiatan utama meliputi tahap pra pelaksanaan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap pasca pelaksanaan. Tahap pra pelaksanaan pengabdian merupakan tahap penyiapan peralatan dan alat serta bahan pembelajaran pembuatan karya seni montage. Tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan merupakan tahap proses pembuatan karya seni montage selama 2 kali pertemuan. Tahap pasca pelaksanaan pengabdian merupakan tahap evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Kegiatan membuat seni montase merupakan alternatif pembelajaran yang menarik dan dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa.

Abstract

The  object  of this  voucher  program  can  publicity  be reganded  to de­ velop  or enlarge  batik technique  finishing  on wood  craft.  The more  spesific objects  ot this  program  are as follows:  (1) To develop  design  of batik  mo­ tives  on wood  craft,   (2) To develop  liquit  wax  application   using  electrical canting  (drawing  pen),  (3) To develop  color  composed   variation  using "in­ digosol  ang  naptol",  (4) To despose  the  wax  using  gazoline  stove,  and  (5) Finishing   wooden   batik  after  drawing   proces   ti  preserve   the  color  from fungy using  anti fungy  Profan,  using wood  stain  Mowilex,  and Impra mela­ mine.The methode  of research  is to give  idea of developing  design  form anbatik   motives.   To  make   design   form   and   new   motive   design   to  give variative  choices.   Drawing  proces  using  traditional   canting  and  electrical canting.  Coloring  using painting  technique  and immersing  for indigosol  and immersing   technique   for  "naptol"     Wax  disposing   use  fire  ang  gazoline stove. The last preserved  finishing  use wood  stain  Mowilex,  melamine,  and antifungy  Profan.The  result  of this voucher  program  is  1) To develop  new design;  twoor three dimentional  form. Two dimentional   form is used in some ornaments such as "gunungan  sekaten,  baku! jamu   (herb  vendor),  and mask.  Three  di­ mentionan   form   includes   elephan   model,   bird   model,   horse   model,   cat model, and bridal  model.  2) Motive  design  included  some other varions  mo­ tives  besides    batik  motive  alot of design  choises.  3) Drawing  proses  uses traditional  canting  and electrical  canting  ( drawing  pen) and electrical  cant­ ing, is more  smoth  and  flat because  of the  stable  haet  resolted  more  clean and healty. 4) Coloring  using paiting technique  and immersing  technique  for indigosol   with  composition    10 grams  indigosol   + 250  ml  water  +  1 tea spoon TRO for painting  technique  and  10 gram  indigosol  + 1 liter water + 1 tea spoon TRO  for immersing  rechnique.  Material  adapting  color with com­ position  5 grams  nitrit  + 4 liter water  + 50 ml HCL.  Naptol  color  material compose  of 50 grams  naptol  + 10 gram  costic  + 1 tea spoon  TRO.  Salt for color  generate  compose  of  100 grams  salt  + 3 liter  water  . Disposing  wax with composition   of  1,5 kg soda abu + 20 liter water  boiled  using  gazoline stove.  The  proces  of the  disposing  wax  using  gazoline  stove  is more  clean and  healthy.   The  last  plated  after  drawing/batik    in  order  to  preserve   the2324color using  wood  stain, melamine,  ang using antifungy  Profan  . Understand­ ing the qualities  and its estetic,  there are some meaningful   changes  if we see it before and after the research.Key words: batik technique finishing,   wood craft

Abstract

The long term goal of the program's science and technology for ExportProducts (IbPE) is to increase the productivity of ceramics in Small and MediumEnterprises Industries (SMI) "Soemarso Ceramics" and "Burat Kriasta"in Bantul in order to stimulate the growth of export of ceramic products. IbPE program is planned will be running for two (2) years, with specific targets to be achieved: (1) improve the quality and quantity of production to satisfy the customer or market demand by facilitating support equipment and provide training; (2) enhance customer satisfaction with the assistance of management based on ISO 9000; and (3) expand the marketing of the product through the assistance of web-based marketing strategies. Targets to be achieved in the first year is (1) to increase in the value of assets and turnover of the SMIs; and (2) to increase in the number and quality of the products marketed. The activities carried out by training and mentoring intensively, also by providing the machine production. In the first year has carried out activities for SMEs "Burat Kriasta" includes: (1) facilitation of making functional ceramic design with natural style; (2) the provision of soil mixers equipment; and (3) the preparation of the exhibition in November, while in SMEs "Soemarso Ceramics" has been carried out: (1) training and technical assistance to the manufacturing of ceramic high-temperature glaze; and (2) providing a ceramic combustion engine. In the first year, the activity has been running well. The target can be achieved in this activity is the increased value of the equipment assets of SMEs "Burat Kriasta" of 19.21%, and the turnover increased by 5%. In SMEs "Soemarso Ceramics" assets increased by 18%. In addition, an increase in the number and quality of 3) 2 the products marketed by up to 25% in SMEs "Burat Kriasta", whereas in SMEs "Soemarso Ceramics" production capacity can be increased more than 25%. Likewise, there is expansion of marketing network export to Korea in SMEs "Burat Kriasta"

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Menghasilkan pengembangan brand logo yang sesuai dengan karakteristik perusahaan Wavymilk, (2) Menghasilkan identitas visual brand Wavymilk yang sesuai dengan karakteristik perusahaan Wavymilk, dan (3) Mengetahui kelayakan brand logo Wavymilk dengan cara melakukan penilaian terhadap logo yang sudah dikembangkan oleh ahli media. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model penelitian ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation), Hasil dari penelitian ini menghasilkan berupa (1) logo brand UMKM Wavymilk, (2) buku graphic standard manual logo Wavymilk, dan (3) hasil penilaian kelayakan logo oleh ahli media. Logo yang dikembangkan memiliki konsep jenis logo kombinasi dengan gaya modern minimalis, gelombang yang merupakan objek utama pada pengembangan logo ini akan dikombinasikan dengan huruf W dan M, logo baru yang dirancang tentunya berdasarkan karakteristik dan latar belakang perusahaan, logo dibuat menggunakan software Adobe Illustrator cc2020. Hasil penilaian yang dilakukan oleh tiga ahli memperoleh presentase kelayakan 93.9% yang dikategorikan sangat layak.

Abstract

Appreciation, innovation, and the competencies of knowledge and skills in learning are components that cannot be separated in both early education (Kindergarten-Elementary) and secondary education (Junior-High School). Unfortunately, educators have faced difficulties in finding a learning model that can simultaneously facilitate both knowledge and skills within a unified learning experience. The STEAM concept, which encompasses the principles of practice- and project-based learning, still requires reevaluation to be effectively integrated with the distinctive features of learning at both early and secondary education levels. This research aims to develop an integrative, holistic learning model to enhance knowledge and skill competencies based on STEAM simultaneously. This R&D study was conducted in six steps : (1) needs analysis, (2) literature review, (3) planning and development of the initial model, (4) pilot testing, (5) revision of the main model and field testing, and (6) final model revision. The study resulted in a learning model called CiptaSTEAM with the following steps: 1) Analyse, 2) Sketch/Design, 3) Select media, 4) Test sketch/design, 5) Revise work/product, 6) Presentation, 7) Evaluation. The learning syntax has been proven to be applicable in early education (Elementary). Overall, the integrative holistic learning model has been effective in increasing students' engagement and enthusiasm for learning in a 3rd-grade elementary classroom.

Abstract

This research is developmental research that aims to: (1) determine the production procedure, (2) determine the characteristics, and (3) analyze the feasibility of interactive media for creating dance works by developing "Montro dance movements" for arts and culture lessons. The development model used in this research refers to the Borg and Gall development model, which consists of nine stages: 1) analysis of potential and problems, 2) data collection, 3) product design, 4) design validation, 5) design revision, 6) product trial, 7) product revision, 8) usage trial, and 9) product revision. The characteristics of interactive media for creating dance works with the development of "Montro dance movements" developed in this study consist of six learning activities with the syntax of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model and are equipped with images, animations, videos, and reflection sheets. Based on the results of the media expert validation test, the score was 3.85 on a Likert scale of 4, the results of the material expert validation test were 3.9 on a Likert scale of 4, and the results of the language expert validation test were 4 on a Likert scale of 4. Based on the suggestions and input of the experts, design revisions were made. Product trials were conducted by 5 teachers from 4 different schools in the Bantul area, namely SMAN 1 Dlingo, SMAN 1 Pajangan, SMAN 1 Bambanglipuro, and SMAN 3 Bantul. Product trials were also conducted by 10 students of SMAN 1 Banguntapan. Based on the teacher's assessment, the score was 3.78 on a Likert scale of 4 and the ideal percentage was 94%. The results of the product trials to teachers were included in the "Very Good" category. Based on student assessments in the product trial, a score of 3.38 was obtained on a Likert scale of 4 and an ideal percentage of 84.5%. Suggestions and input from teachers were used to revise the product. The product trial was conducted at SMAN 1 Banguntapan with 35 grade XI students. Based on student assessments, a score of 3.42 was obtained on a Likert scale of 4 and an ideal percentage of 85.5%. The results of the product usage test were included in the "Very Good" category. Based on the results of the usage test, no revisions were made.

Abstract

Indonesia is rich in cultural heritage, yet many traditional arts and crafts, such as the ornaments of Pura Mangkunegaran Surakarta, remain underappreciated.  This research emphasizes integrating cultural heritage into decorative arts education to preserve cultural identity. Using a qualitative approach, the study identifies and analyzes various types, forms, and meanings of ornaments found in Pura Mangkunegaran Surakarta, their relevance, and the curriculum at SMPN 1 Mojogedang. The findings reveal that these ornaments, which reflect Javanese, Chinese, and European influences, not only enhance aesthetic appreciation but also foster critical thinking and creativity among students. By incorporating local cultural materials into educational practices, the research contributes to a deeper understanding of cultural backgrounds, instilling pride and a sense of responsibility in preserving heritage. This integration significantly enriches students' learning experiences and promotes cultural preservation within the educational framework.
