Abstract

Salah satu kompetensi yang harus dimiliki oleh guru berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional Republik Indonesia Nomor 16 Tahun 2007 Tentang Standar Kualifikasi Akademik dan Kompetensi Guru adalah melakukan penelitian dan pengembangan. Metode Statistika memegang peranan penting dalam penyusunan dan pelaksanaan suatu penelitian. Pada umumnya guru belum mempunyai dasar Statistika yang kuat. Penulisan karya ilmiah juga hal yang penting dalam pencapaian kompetensi bagi guru. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan workshop metode statistika ke guru di SMKN 5 Surabaya sehingga dapat memberikan hasil Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang lebih baik setelah mengimplementasikan ilmu statistika didalamnya. Materi yang diberikan antara lain Pendahuluan tentang Statistika dan Penelitian Tindakan Keguruan, Sekilas Penulisan Ilmiah dan Penyusunan Dokumen Hasil Penelitian Tindakan Keguruan, Statistika Deskriptif dan Estimasi Parameter, Pengujian Hipotesis, Korelasi, Tabulasi Silang dan Analisis Regresi. Setelah workshop, dilakukan pendampingan terhadap penulisan artikel ilmiah hasil PTK yang disusun oleh guru, baik dari segi pengolahan dan analisis data maupun penyajian dalam artikel berupa jurnal maupun seminar nasional/ internasional. Selain itu modul workshop tentang metode statistika untuk PTK dapat dimanfaatkan oleh peserta pengabdian untuk mengembangkan kemampuan mengolah dan menganalisis data.

Abstract

The global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by countries in the world have significant implications for national development planning in Indonesia in the period 2015 to 2030. The Agricultural sector is one of the most important sectors in the world and has a very important contribution to achieving the goals. Availability of accurate paddy production data must be available to measure the level of food security. This can be done by monitoring the growth phase of paddy and predicting the classification of its growth phase accurately and precisely. The paddy growth phase has 6 classes with the number of class members usually not the same (imbalanced data). This study describes the results of the classification of paddy growth phases with imbalanced data in Bojonegoro Regency, East Java in 2019 using machine learning algorithms on the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform. Classification is done by Classification and Regression Tree, Support Vector Machine, and Random Forest. Oversampling technique is used to deal the problem of imbalanced data. The Area Sampling Frame survey in 2019 conducted by BPS was used as a label for classification model training. The results showed that the overall accuracy (OA) using the Random Forest algorithm by modifying the dataset using oversampling was 82.30% and the kappa statistic was 0.76, outperforming the SVM and CART algorithms.

Abstract

Indonesian Islamic banking market share projected by Bank Indonesia is an integral part in developing the industry in the country. By setting a projection which will then be used as a benchmark / target, Islamic banks can make a necessary program to attract new customers which eventually increase its asset. If the increase of the asset is significant,the Islamic bank market share may increase. The problem is that the current projection by Bank Indonesia seems to be off target. It means that the projection is pretty much above the actual value. This paper attempts to utilize two projection methods namely Spline and Auto-ARIMA which we think can provide a better result. This study uses the monthly data covering period since January 2006 until December 2012. The result shows that our projections, especially using Spline method, are closer to the actual value of the Islamic banking industry market share. It means that the gap between the projection and the actual value of market share is lesser than the gap on the Bank Indonesia calculation. Moreover, this study argue that, the projection of the Islamic banking market share made by BI will not be achieved unless with government support. So far, government has not made any policy which deposit some of the national budget in the Islamic bank. This study calculates that if government regularly depositing 1% of total National Government Budget in Islamic banks, the projection of Islamic banking market share made by BI will be acheived. As a conclusion, the role of government is very significant in developing the Islamic banking industry in Indonesia.

Abstract

Deep learning coupled with transfer learning, which involves reusing a pretrained model's network structure and parameter values, offers a rapid and accurate solution for image segmentation. Differing approaches exist in updating transferred parameters during training. In some studies, parameters remain frozen or untrainable (referred to as TL-S1), while in others, they act as trainable initial values updated from the first iteration (TL-S2). We introduce a new state-of-the-art transfer learning scenario (TL-S3), where parameters initially remain unchanged and update only after a specified cutoff time. Our research focuses on comparing the performance of these scenarios, a dimension yet unexplored in the literature. We simulate on three architectures (Dense-UNet-121, Dense-UNet-169, and Dense-UNet-201) using an ultrasound-based dataset with the left ventricular wall as the region of interest. The results reveal that the TL-S3 consistently outperforms the previous state-of-the-art scenarios, i.e., TL-S1 and TL-S2, achieving correct classification ratios (CCR) above 0.99 during training with noticeable performance spikes post-cutoff. Notably, two out of three top-performing models in the validation data also originate from TL-S3. Finally, the best model is the Dense-UNet-121 with TL-S3 and a 20% cutoff. It achieves the highest CCR for training 0.9950, validation 0.9699, and testing data 0.9695, confirming its excellence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of digital marketing educational media on students' entrepreneurial interest. It uses a quantitative approach with an experimental research type and a Quasi Experiment design with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design format. The sample consists of 36 students from class XI PPLG 1 as the control group and 36 students from class XI PPLG 2 as the experimental group. The results from the simple linear regression test show a significance value of 0.063 for the control group and 0.005 for the experimental group, with 0.063 > 0.05 and 0.005 < 0.05. Therefore, in the control group, H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected, indicating no effect of digital marketing implementation on students' entrepreneurial interest. In contrast, in the experimental group, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, demonstrating an effect of digital marketing implementation on students entrepreneurial interest

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation, implications, supporting and inhibiting factors, and the Madrasah al-Qur'an Al Fajar model in Class IIA Correctional Institution Yogyakarta. This research is a field research using qualitative methods and phenomenological approaches. Data collection techniques are done through interviews, observations, and documentation, while data analysis uses Mautakas' phenomenological theory. The study results show that the implementation of Madrasah Al-Qur'an Al Fajar is driven by three agencies, namely the Class IIA Yogyakarta Prison, the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Yogyakarta, and BAZNAS DIY. Activities are implemented on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday with learning methods that include lectures, sorogan, bandongan, questions and answers, demonstrations, practices, examples, and habituation. The model of Madrasah Al-Qur'an Al Fajar is a madrasah that is managed in a modern and synergistic manner so that it can change the religious behavior of students for the better than before. The implementation of this Madrasah Al-Qur'an implies that students become diligent in reading the Qur'an, be tawadu', be polite and friendly, respect each other, be orderly in worship, be able to become khatib, imam, teaching assistant, and make speeches, with increased awareness and peace of mind. Factors supporting the success of this Madrasah include funds, Ustaz, management, "Santri Ustaz," warrior mentality, volunteers, infrastructure, and community support. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are new residents, the rolling system, the "little king," limited human resources (HR), recidivist students, and syndicates.

Abstract

In spatial regression analysis, we not only consider the internal factors of a location, but also take into account the spatial factors that may affect the relationship. The model of spatial dependence between regions caused by unknown factors or errors is known as the Spatial Error Model (SEM). In its application to large datasets, SEM suffers from several problems in parameter estimation and computational time. One of the methods to solve this problem is to use Matrix Exponential Spatial Specification (MESS). The purpose of this research is to find another alternative to modeling data containing spatial autocorrelation errors as a substitute for SEM. MESS(0,1) is named as an alternative model to SEM. With the advantage of MESS features, the MESS(0,1) model is expected to be faster in analytics and computation compared to SEM when using Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE). The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the MESS (0,1) model as an alternative to SEM using MLE based on simulation studies and real data analysis. Simulation studies were conducted by generating data from small samples to large samples and then estimating parameters with the MESS(0,1) and SEM models. Then we compared the performance of the two models with the time used during estimation and the root mean square error (RMSE). In addition, it is applied to real data, namely Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) data. The real data used is the GRDP of the construction category on Java Island in 2021. This is in line with the massive infrastructure development as a government program. The independent variables used and considered influential on the GRDP of the construction sector are domestic investment, foreign investment, labor, and wages. Based on the simulation study results, the computation time for estimating the parameters of MESS(0,1) is faster than the SEM model. In addition, in terms of accuracy, the RMSE indicator shows MESS(0,1) is more accurate than the SEM. In addition, the MESS(0,1) and SEM models were applied to the real data. The modeling real data results show that all variables have a significant positive effect on GRDP in the construction category.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kreatif adalah kemampuan untuk menghasilkan ide atau cara baru dalam menyelesaikan dan menghasilkan suatu produk. Dalam proses pembelajaran matematika berpikir kreatif sangat diperlukan untuk dapat mengembangkan kreatifitas siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dapat dilihat dari berbagai aspek diantaranya munculnya pertanyaan untuk peninggian harapan dan antisipasi; menggali informasi yang ada; menguraikan secara hati-hati dan sistematik terhadap informasi yang tersaji; menyiapkan secara fisik terhadap informasi yang dipresentasikan; memperdalam kesadaran tentang masalah, kesulitan dan kesenjangan informasi; mendorong sifat-sifat atau kecenderungan pribadi kreatif; dan mempertinggi kepedulian dan hasrat ingin tahu. Kajian teori ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara untuk dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dalam proses pembelajaran matematika. Dalam kajian teori dan bedah jurnal yang telah dilakukan, kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dapat dikembangkan melalui pendekatan Open–Ended problem dan model pembelajaarn berbasis masalah. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa adalah model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving (CPS). Hal ini disebabkan karena dengan model pembelajaran CPS ini siswa akan lebih dapat berperan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran dan dapat menumbuh kembangkan keterampilan berfikirnya karena siswa dituntut untuk mengeluarkan ide – ide penyelesaian masalah baik secara individu maupun kelompok dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Dramatic computation growth encourages big data era, which induces data size escalation in various fields. Apart from huge sample size, cases arise high-dimensional data having more feature size than its samples. High-computing power compels the usage of modern approaches to deal with this typical dataset, while in practice, common logistic regression method is yet applied due to its simplicity and explainability. Applying logistic regression on high-dimensional data arises multicollinearity, overfitting, and computational complexity issues. Logistic Regression Ensemble (Lorens) and Ensemble Logistic Regression (ELR) are the logistic-regression-based alternative methods proposed to solve these problems. Lorens adopts ensemble concept with mutually exclusive feature partitions to form several subsets of data, while ELR involves feature selection in the algorithm by drawing part of features based on probability ranking value. This paper uncovers the effectiveness of Lorens and ELR applied to high-dimensional data classification through simulation study under three different scenarios, i.e., with feature size variation, for imbalanced high-dimensional data, and under multicollinearity conditions. Our simulation study reveals that ELR outperforms Lorens and obtains more stable performance over different feature sizes and imbalanced data settings. On the other hand, Lorens achieves more reliable performance than ELR on a simulation study with a multicollinearity issue.

Abstract

يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة التحولات اللغوية بين سياق الموقف وسياق الثقافة في اللغة العربية، مع التركيز على استعمالات التأدب بوصفه وسيلة للتفاعل اللغوي. تمثلت الأهداف الأساسية للدراسة في تحديد أنواع السياقات المختلفة وأثر كل منها على التواصل، واستكشاف الدرس التداولي للكشف عن خلفيات الاستعمال اللغوي، ومعرفة القواعد التداولية التي يقوم عليها مبدأ التأدب، خاصة في تحويل التواصل من البعد المرجعي إلى البعد العلاقي. كما تناولت الدراسة الخلفيات الثقافية والتوقعات الاجتماعية ودورهما في تشكيل التفسيرات اللغوية. اعتمدت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، حيث تم تحليل أنواع السياق وأنماطه في الفصل الأول، مع التركيز على التفاعل بين سياق الموقف وسياق الثقافة. في الفصل الثاني، تم استعراض استراتيجيات التأدب واستخداماتها مع تسليط الضوء على الفرق بين التأدب الإيجابي والسلبي. أما الفصل الثالث فقد خصص لدراسة الأساليب ذات البعد العلاقي، مع التركيز على التحول من البعد المرجعي إلى البعد العلاقي في التواصل. كشفت النتائج عن التفاعل بين السياقات المختلفة وتحولاتها يشكل أساسًا لفهم ديناميكيات الاتصال اليوم. يتطلب نجاح التواصل قدرة المتحدثين على التكيف مع السياقات المختلفة، والتفاعل معها بمرونة، مما يعزز من جودة الرسائل المتبادلة ويضمن تحقيق الأهداف المرجوة من الاتصال.
