Abstract

Abstract

Indigenous and remote ethnic populations experience poorer health status than metropolitan populations due to unequal access to essential healthcare services (Primary healthcare). This study aims to assess which essential health services are best provided by health workers and describe the service needs problem from the patient's perspective. The Delphi method consists of informants represented by rural and remote health centers. Using open-ended questions, they represent the population for each health center service. Each question must identify a problem based on the core of essential health services. The results of the study show that the criteria that must be met include the importance of equality in health services; consideration of social determinants of health; flexibility, effective resource budgeting, adjusting the type of health services according to patient needs, and providing assistance as close to home as possible. The conclusions of this study can help policymakers and service planners to determine what types of service needs should be provided by health workers in remote areas, to allocate resources and provide services more equitably, and to inform patients about healthcare services that they expect to be able to access pretty within the community. Abstract

Abstract. Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an acute viral infection caused by the dengue virus characterized by fever for 2-7 days accompanied by bleeding manifestations, decreased platelets (thrombocytopenia), and the presence of hemoconcentration, which is characterized by plasma leakage (increased hematocrit, ascites, pleural effusion, hypoalbuminemia). It may be accompanied by atypical symptoms, including headache, muscle and bone pain, skin rash, and pain behind the eyeball. Community service aims to conduct a survey of larva-free areas and distribute abate powder. Observation of all water reservoirs in people's homes is the method used for this activity. From 17 to 21 May 2022, this activity was conducted for five days. The community empowerment was held in the working area of the Kelay Community Health Center in Sido Bangen and Merasa Villages, Berau Regency, with a target of 227 houses and 5 RTs per region. On the 18th and 20th of May, 2022, a larval survey and the distribution of Abate powder were conducted. The larvae survey revealed ABJ (larvae-free rate) results of 67.65 percent in Feel Village and 81.32 percent in Sido Bangen Village. Seeing the low ABJ after the implementation of countermeasures, it is necessary to implement PSN (Eradication of Mosquito Nest) Plus through community mobilization.

Abstract

The proliferation of smartphone malware attacks due to a lack of vigilance in app selection raises serious concerns. Built-in smartphone security features often must be improved to protect devices from these threats. Although numerous articles recommend top-tier antivirus solutions, there need to be more reliable data sources that raise suspicions about undisclosed promotional motives. This research endeavors to establish a ranking of antivirus efficacy to provide optimal recommendations for Android smartphone users. The research methodology entails a meticulous comparison of malware detection and labeling outcomes between various antivirus programs within Virustotal and the labeling system employed by the Euphony application. The comparative results are categorized into three groups: antivirus solutions proficient in identifying specific malware types, those detecting malware presence without categorization, and antivirus software failing to detect malware effectively. The experimental findings present the five leading antivirus solutions, ranked from the highest to lowest scores, as Ikarus, Fortinet, ESET-NOD32, Avast-Mobile, and SymantecMobileInsight. Based on the comprehensive assessment conducted in this study, these solutions are recommended as the top antivirus choices. These recommendations are poised to significantly aid users in selecting the most suitable antivirus protection for their Android smartphones.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction and the safety culture of health workers are two important aspects that are interrelated in providing health services. Patient satisfaction measures the extent to which patients are satisfied with the services they receive from health service providers. This study analyzes the impact of safety culture and factors related to outpatient patient satisfaction. Observational research was employed with stratified random sampling, and primary data was collected from a public hospital in Samarinda City. The study included patients who had received outpatient care within the last 3 days, aged 17 years and older, and willing to complete the questionnaire. Inpatients were excluded from the sample criteria. The bivariate test was performed for chi-square, then binary logistic for multivariate. Statistical test results of the variables clarity of information, communication of health workers, physical quality, empathy, and safety culture associated with outpatient satisfaction, multivariate regression showed safety culture (OR 13.44; p 0.006) had a large influence, followed by communication (OR 12.460; p 0.023) and empathy (OR 9.947; p 0.025) on outpatient satisfaction. This research is expected to be a source of information, input, and material for preparing plans and as a basis for the initial stages of periodic evaluation of the quality of health services for patients.
