Abstract

Objective: This study aims to describe the application of animation media in science learning and evaluate its effects on the understanding and interest of group B children at RA Cahaya Insani. The focus is on how animation media facilitates comprehension and fosters enthusiasm for learning abstract concepts. Methods: A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, utilizing observations, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. This method allowed for an in-depth exploration of the interactions between children, teachers, and the animation media. Results: The findings indicate that animation media significantly improves children's grasp of abstract concepts, such as the water cycle, by providing engaging and clear visualizations. Children exhibited increased enthusiasm and active participation in class activities. Teachers found that animation media eased the delivery of complex materials while encouraging critical thinking among students. Despite technical challenges like limited device availability, these were effectively addressed through meticulous planning and creative strategies by teachers. Novelty: This study highlights the innovative use of animation media in early childhood education, emphasizing its potential to enhance both cognitive and social development. It underscores the role of technology in creating effective and enjoyable science learning experiences, suggesting its broader application for diverse science topics in the future.

Abstract

Objective: This study examines the effectiveness of the Ceria Bazaar, an initiative under the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5), in fostering entrepreneurial spirit among early childhood students at TK Unggulan Annur. The objective is to explore how project-based learning activities can develop creativity, independence, and social responsibility in children. Methods: A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, involving observations, interviews, and documentation to capture the experiences of children, teachers, and parents. Data were analyzed systematically to understand how the Ceria Bazaar contributes to entrepreneurial learning through planning, product creation, and interaction with customers. Results: The findings reveal that the Ceria Bazaar promotes essential entrepreneurial skills such as merchandise management, marketing strategies, and customer interaction. Children gained practical experience in decision-making, financial management, and problem-solving. This activity also enhanced children's self-confidence, teamwork, and creativity while engaging parents and the community in the learning process. Novelty: This study highlights the innovative integration of entrepreneurial education into early childhood learning through a culturally relevant and engaging approach. By combining art-based projects with business concepts, the Ceria Bazaar serves as a replicable model for developing life skills in young learners while reinforcing Pancasila values.

Abstract

Objective: This research aims to improve speaking skills in early childhood at RA Darunnajah through the use of hand puppets as an interactive learning media. Methods: A classroom action research design with two cycles was used, involving direct observation, interviews, and documentation. The study focused on measuring the effectiveness of hand puppets in enhancing speaking skills. Results: The use of hand puppet media significantly increased children’s active participation in speaking, expanded their vocabulary, and boosted their self-confidence. Storytelling activities with hand puppets created a dynamic and engaging learning environment that supported language development. Novelty: This study highlights the impact of creative media, such as hand puppets, on improving early childhood speaking skills, especially for children who are shy or lack confidence in speaking.

Abstract

Peneguhan Ideologi Muhammadiyah menjadi pondasi utama bagi warga Muhammadiyah terlebih bagi pengelola Amal Usaha dalam memahami dan menjalankan aturan dan dasar organisasi, beribadah, dan bermuamalah sesuai ruh Muhammadiyah. Fakta di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa Ideologi Muhammadiyah pendidik ‘Aisyiyah di Jawa Timur perlu dikuatkan. Adanya data bahwa pendidik ‘Aisyiyah beragam latar belakangnya, tidak sedikit yang berlatar belakang non kader Muhammadiyah. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam aktivitas Darul Arqam maupun kegiatan lain yang memuat materi-materi peneguhan Ideologi Muhammadiyah cenderung membosankan dengan ceramah dan tanya jawab. Sementara Pendidik ‘Aisyiyah sebagian besar mengajar di Taman Kanak-kanak ‘Aisyiyiah Bustanul ‘Athfal lebih dekat dengan kreativitas, maka perlu inovasi dalam Peneguhan Ideologi Muhammadiyah. Model Experiential Learning memberi kesempatan kepada peserta untuk memutuskan pengalaman apa yang menjadi fokus mereka, keterampilan-keterampilan apa yang mereka ingin kembangkan, dan bagaimana cara mereka membuat konsep dari pengalaman yang mereka alami tersebut. Tujuan dari Abdimas ini adalah memberikan alternatif pendekatan dalam peneguhan Ideologi Muhammadiyah Pendidik ‘Aisyiyah Jawa Timur melalui model Experiential Learning. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan Peneguhan Ideologi Muhammadiyah dengan pendekatan experiential learning berbasis online sangat efektif dan efesien. Tingkat pemahaman peserta juga mengalami peningkatan signifikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan metode Wafa dalam pembelajaran pengenalan Al-Qur’an pada anak-anak kelompok A di Taman Kanak-Kanak Islam Terpadu Insan Kamil Gempol. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian fenomenologis. Subyek penelitian ini adalah wali kelas A dan anak-anak kelas A. Teknik pengumpulan data ini penelitian adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari ini penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode Wafa (Tilawah dan Tahfidz) dalam pembelajaran pengenalan Al-Qur’an kepada anak-anak kelompok A di TKIT Insan Kamil Gempol menggunakan metode TANDUR (Tumbuhkan, Alami, Namai, Demonstrasikan, Ulangi, dan Rayakan) dengan tahapan 5P (pembukaan, pengenalan, pembelajaran, penilaian, dan penutup). Metode ini mengakomodasi modalitas belajar anak (Visual, Auditorial, dan Kinestetik). Selain itu, metode ini juga mengoptimalkan potensi kecerdasan majemuk yang dimiliki anak sehingga dengan menggunakan metode ini suasana belajar Al Quran lebih hidup tidak membosankan, dan nyaman sehingga pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan bagi anak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini penting dilakukan untuk meningkatkan mutu tata kelola lembaga Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini melalui pendampingan Tata Kelola Lembaga bagi pengelola PAUD dengan pendekatan Experiential Learning  agar seluruh pengelola memahami kedudukan visi, misi, dan tujuan dalam sebuah Lembaga. Visi, misi, dan Tujuan (VMT) lembaga sebagai fundamen dalam pengelolaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam PKM adalah Participation Action Research (PAR). Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan melibatkan 2 PAUD ‘Aisyiyah dari 2 Kecamatan dengan jumlah 20 peserta diwakili unsur Pengurus ‘Aisyiyah, Kepala Sekolah, guru, dan tata usaha sekolah. Penelitian ini berlangsung selama 3 bulan, dari Juli sampai September 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pendekatan Experiential Learning sangat efektif, dibuktikan dengan luaran hasil kegiatan pendampingan berupa rumusan baru Visi, Misi, dan Tujuan sekolah (VMT). Sekolah juga menyusun dokumen Rencana Kerja sekolah selama 4 tahun dan Rencana Kegiatan dan Anggaran Sekolah selama satu tahun dengan mengacu pada VMT yang baru dirumuskan dalam kegiatan pendampingan.

Abstract

Islam and science are an inseparable unity. Islam as a religion is a source of knowledge and knowledge is a means to apply everything contained in religious teachings. In the Qur'an, there are around 750 verses related to science. This shows that Islam places great emphasis on the development of science. But what happens, these two things are pushed aside from each other, resulting in a dichotomy of knowledge that enters all aspects of life. The awareness to restore the position of Islam and science began to be rolled back by Muslim thinkers by integrating the two. In educational institutions, the integration of Islamic and science values ​​is strengthened through an "integrated curriculum", which is "bringing together several scientific disciplines in a learning design to obtain better learning outcomes with the ability of students to connect one subject to another. Among the integration concepts offered are "shared, Webbed, and integrated." In addition to curriculum integration, components that need to be considered are improving the quality of human resources and educational infrastructure.

Abstract

Interpersonal skills merupakan salah satu hal penting dalam intelek manusia. Kegunaan kreatif dari pikiran manusia dituntut untuk mampu mempertahankan hubungan sosial manusia secara efektif. Banyak orang mampu memikirkan semua konsekuensi dari apa yang telah mereka perbuat, mengantisipasi tingkah laku orang lain, menentukan keuntungan dan kerugian, dan mengatasi dengan baik hal-hal hubungan interpersonal. Sebagai calon pendidik, kompetensi sosial dan Kapabilitas komunikasi interpersonal menjadi bagian penting dalam menjamin kualitas pendidik. Pendidik yang sukses adalah pendidik yang memiliki kemampuan bekerja sama, berempati, dan pengendalian diri yang menonjol.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the motivation to learn mathematics in grade 1 elementary school students who are in a period of transition and adaptation to learning situations between kindergarten and elementary school levels through the application of the Make a Match cooperative learning model. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out at SDI Alam Bunayya, Prambon sub-district, with research subjects in class I semester 1 of the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 16 students. This study used interviews, observation and documentation with descriptive qualitative data analysis. In this study, the results of high mathematics learning motivation in the implementation of the action, the level of motivation to learn mathematics showed progress in each cycle, from the pre-cycle which was only 19% and in the first cycle it increased by 56.25%. However, these results still do not meet the specified action achievement indicators, so it is necessary to carry out further actions in cycle II. Whereas in cycle II the level of student learning motivation increased by 87.5%, these results have reached a high level of learning motivation exceeding the achievement indicators of the actions applied by 80%. So it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model of the Make a Match type is proven to be able to increase students' motivation to learn mathematics.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the Implementation of Adiwiyata Program in Elementary School. There are 2 focus problems, namely; (1) How is the implementation of the Adiwiyata Mandiri Program in improving students' environmental care character in elementary schools? (2) What are the obstacles in the implementation of the implementation of the Adiwiyata Mandiri Program in improving students' environmental care character in elementary schools? The type of research conducted is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques were conducted by interview, questionnaire, observation and documentation. The results obtained related to the implementation are generally implemented through four aspects, including aspects of environmentally sound policies, environmentally-based school curriculum, participatory-based activities and management of environmentally friendly supporting facilities. Students managed to implement the Adiwiyata Program independently based on each indicator of environmental care character. The obstacles faced include a non-uniform understanding of the objectives of the Adiwiyata Program and the lack of participation of some students in protecting the environment as a program to care for nature and themselves.
