Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of the Drill Method on Knowing Student Cognitive Learning Outcomes in Cultural Arts Subjects in Class VI Sd Negeri Pilang - Sidoarjo and describe the effect of the Drill Method on Knowing Student Cognitive Learning Outcomes in Cultural Arts Subjects in Class VI Public Elementary School Pilang - Sidoarjo. This type of research uses a quantitative research approach. This study used the One Group Pretest Posttest design. The population used in this study were all students in class VI SD Negeri Pilang - Sidoarjo with a sample of 28 students. Data collection techniques in this study used learning outcomes tests, where there are pretest (initial test) and postest (final test). The data obtained were then calculated using the t-test and the values ​​obtained were T count = 1.096 T table = 11.070 with a significant level of 5% and dk 28. The t value was outside the acceptance of Ho, so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the effect of learning the national song with the drill method to determine the cognitive learning outcomes of students in cultural arts subjects in class VI SD Negeri Pilang - Sidoarjo has a major effect on student cognitive learning outcomes in cultural arts subjects in class VI - public elementary schools. pilang - Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Reading is a unity of integrated activities that include a variety of activities, such as recognizing letters and words, connect with the sound, as well as draw conclusions about the intent bacaanya. Based on the experience of the researcher, that most of the children of group A in TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Temple, the ability to read A group has not been able to achieve optimal development. It required the application of the card media wall to improve reading skills. This research using the Method of Classroom Action Research to improve their reading skills. This study was conducted in 2 cycles. The study was conducted in three stages namely pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II to obtain the results as expected. In the pre cycle, most children still acquire an average value of 43,0% while in the first cycle the percentage value increases so that the obtained prosentas the value of be is 61.5%, which means less than the maximum. Then the researchers proceeded to give the action in cycle II, after doing research on the second cycle is the percentage of the average value of the child to 84.8%, resulting from the acquisition of the average in cycle I and cycle II increased again. It can be seen from the comparison between cycle I and cycle II during the study. From the results obtained, there is an increase in proving that with the Media Card Wall can improve the reading ability of the children.

Abstract

Word cards pictorial of one of the media that can help the development of the ability to speak the child, because the media card images are concrete. From the observation of the researcher, the problem that often occurs in the KB Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Candi. The ability to speak, children Play Groups yet can achieve optimal development, this is because the ability to speak the child is not smooth and less interestingly media used during the learning process takes place. Therefore it is necessary supporting media so that the kids want to reveal the experience of day - to- day, so that children become excited in following the learning and the goal of the teacher to improve the speaking skills of children can be successfully and running maximum by using the Card Word Picture. This research using the Method of Classroom Action Research to improve the ability to speak. This study was conducted in 2 cycles. The study was conducted in three stages namely pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II to obtain the results as expected. In the pre cycle, most children still acquire an average value of 44,98% while in the first cycle the percentage value increases so that the obtained percentage value to be 63,31%, which means less than the maximum. Then the researchers proceeded to give the action in cycle II, after doing research on the second cycle is the percentage of the average value of the child becomes 81,66%, resulting from the acquisition of the average in cycle I and cycle II increased again. It can be seen from the comparison between cycle I and cycle II during the study. From the results obtained, there is an increase in proving that with the Word Cards Picture can improve the Speaking ability of the child.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning process of drama extracurricular at the Primary School Lab School, State University of Surabaya using the role play method. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive study type by observing the drama learning process using the role play method and drama performances using a script, don't litter at school art performances which are held regularly once a year. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction such as selecting and classifying the findings needed so that they do not widen from the core of the discussion, presenting data from the findings of the training process to staging, and drawing conclusions from all findings. The results showed that learning drama by using the role play method, got satisfactory results because from these results students were able to appear confident and able to perform well in performing arts performances held at school.
