Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar biologi siswa kelas X MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Piyungan, Bantul pada materi bakteri melalui penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL). Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan pada 34 siswa kelas X MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Piyungan yang terdiri dari  19 siswa laki-laki dan 15 siswa perempuan. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi tes evaluasi hasil belajar biologi, lembar observasi guru, lembar observasi  keaktifan siswa, angket siswa, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Data tes hasil belajar biologi dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif serta data hasil observasi dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar biologi pada siklus pertama untuk materi ciri-ciri, struktur, dan pengelompokan bakteri dengan persentase siswa yang mendapat nilai 65 mencapai 73,53%. Pada siklus kedua dengan materi reproduksi, pertumbuhan, dan peranan bakteri dengan persentase siswa mendapat nilai 65 mencapai 88,24%. Aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I dari 88,5% menjadi 93,0% dan siklus II dari 92,1% menjadi 97,0% yang berarti aktivitas belajar biologi siswa meningkat. Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran PBL menunjukkan respon positif, siswa tertarik, dan senang pada siklus I yang persentasenya 88,24% atau 30 siswa menjadi 94,12% atau 32 siswa pada siklus II, sehingga ada peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa.

Abstract

Abstract: Self-Management Education, Hypoglycemia. Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disease that needs attention and care for a long time in order to prevent complications. People with DM must have good knowledge, skill, and behavior so they can manage their life by themselves. Research showed that 50–80%, people with DM have not enough knowledge to manage their disease. Through the self-management, people with diabetes can improve their competence in early detection of hypoglycemia so it would increase the quality of life and reduce the risk of developing complications. The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of diabetes self-management education toward early detection of hypoglycemia among patients with diabetes. A quasi-experimental pre and post design with a control group was used to investigate the impact of using education on self-management. The participants were 40 that divided into intervention and control group. Purposive sampling was used to take the samples. T-Test was used to analyze the data. The competence of diabetes in early detection of hypoglycemia was an increase, from 6,1 with SD 13.7 to 71,7 with SD 19.2. Then, the model of Self Management education influenced the competence of people with diabetes in the early detection of hypoglycemia, P value 0,011 (α = 0,05). The findings demonstrate that self-management education could improve the competence of diabetes in the early detection of hypoglycemia.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the correlation of students ability to make concept maps with student learning outcomes biology class X IPA1 SMA Swasta Esa Prakarsa Selesai district Langkat Tp. 2016/2017. The population in this study was all students of class X SMA Swasta Esa Prakarsa Selesai district Langkat Tp. 2016/2017. While the study sample taken at random sampling of the class X IPA1 amounted to 38 people. The method used in this research is descriptive. From the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing there were some things that the findings in this study; Average students' ability to make a concept map is 77.08 while the student learning outcomes in sub material classification of living things have an average of 71.23. Hypothesis test results tcount > ttable: 15.08 > 1.6775  meant that in this study the Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected which meant that there were significant correlation between the ability to make concept map with student learning outcomes. Based on a test of the determination of the coefficient obtained contribution concept map of 86.49%.Keyword: Concept Mapping, Learning Outcomes, The Classification of Living

Abstract

Abstract Background : Asthma is a worldwide health problem. People with asthma in the world today was estimated at 300 million peoples, and expected in 2025 reached 400 million peoples. In Indonesia, there were currently about 12.5 million peoples. In BBKPM Makassar, the number of people with asthma who visit in 2009 were 291 patients, in 2010 to 292 patients, and in 2011 starting from January to November, as 243 patients. It shows the number of people with asthma who visit the BBKPM Makassar each month has increased. Therapy of asthma treatment often used was nebulizer using combivent and bisolvon. Purpose this study to determine the effectiveness of provision nebulizer of combivent and bisolvon therapy to airway patency in asthma bronchial patient at ER of BBKPM Makassar. Method: used was quase experimental with two groups pretest and posttest design. Sample of 40 patients who met the criteria were randomly selected to be divided into two groups, 20 samples for nebulizer of combivent therapy, and 20 samples for nebulizer of bisolvon therapy. Method: Technique of data analysis used was paired t test. the Research result conducted on two groups of respondents, obtained t count value frequency of respiratory and pulmonary physiology in the treatment group of nebulizer using combivent obtained t count of the frequency of respiratory physiology was 15.601 and pulmonary physiology was 23.083, while the treatment groups of nebulizer using bisolvon obtained t count value was 7.701 and pulmonary physiology was 12.606. Result: were both higher than the t table value 1.725 at significant level 95%. Conclusion: Provision nebulizer of combivent therapy provide greater effectiveness in reducing airway obstruction in asthma bronchial patients at ER ofBBKPM Makassar in 2012.

Abstract

Abstract Background: AMI is a myocardial necrosis caused by inadequate blood supply.The cardiac muscle contractility has very important role in pumping blood. Contraction of the heart in pumping blood is regulated by cardiac action potential,such as role is sodium (Na +) and potassium (K +). AMI is a myocardial necrosis caused by inadequate blood supply. Objective of this research to describe the serum electrolytes such as sodium (Na +) and potassium (K +) in patients with AMI who undergoes treatment in ICVCU of Regional General Hospital Dr. Moewardi Surakarta in 2016.Reasearch Methods: This research uses descriptive research. The subject of this research is the patients who is treated in ICVCU of Dr. Moewardi hospital with Acute Myocardial Infarction a number of 57 respondents. The researh was conducted in two months. The sampling techniques is by total sampling. The data collection method uses observation technique. Results: The average of AMI respondents are 41-60 years old in which as much as 57.9%, male respondents are as much as 75.4%, the highest classification of AMI STEMI are 75.4%, the majority of respondents whose the results of sodium levels are in <136 mmol / L (low) are 71.9%, the result of potassium levels which are between 3.3 to 5.1 mmol / L (normal) are 82.5%. Conclusion: Average AMI patients are 41-60 years, the majority of respondents is male with the highestclassification of AMI STEMI and have the level of sodium is <136 mmol / L (low)

Abstract

The goals of this research are: (1) to find out the requirements to be the Englishtecher candidate, (2) to find out if motivation is one of the factors which needs to beconsideres in students; recruitement system, (3) to fdesign the model of students?óÔé¼Ôäórecruitment system in English department of IKIP PGRI Semarang. The instrumets ofthis study are quetionaires which were distributed to the samples. The samples are thestduents of english department which was randomy selected and six English teachers ofsenior high school in Semarang. Those schools were: 1 state senior high school, 1private high school, 2 state vocational schools and 2 provate vaocational schools. Thetresearch was conducted for 1,5 month. The result of this study shows that the users(schools) have less content over the English department graduates?óÔé¼Ôäó competence. Thoseare profesionalism, pedagogic, social and performance. The graduates are consideredto have low pedagogic competence(33.3%) and less in performance (16.7%). Theresult of the analysis on questionaires filled by the students revealed that the highermotivation of the students, the higher their achievement. The result of the study willlead to the designing of model which include motivation as one of the factors inrecruiting new students of English Deparment. The users dicontent is worth consideredas the supporting factors in improvement. Abstract

Tujuan penelitianini adalah untuk mengembangkan sebuah model pembelajaran yang dapatmembangun life skills pada tahapan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris berbasis genre. Penelitian ini adalahpenelitian kualitatif berbasis pada analisis konsep. Penelitian dilakukan di 3 SMA dan 3 SMK di KotaSemarang dalam 4 tahapan: 1) observasi mendalam dan studi kepustakaan; 2) Wawancara dengan gurubahasa Inggris; 3).pemberian try out; 4) peer debriefing, diskusi terbatas dengan teman sejawat dan ahli,Temuan menunjukan bahwa life skills dapat diterapakan pada masing-masing tahapan pembelajaranbahasa Inggris (Building Knowledge of the Field, Modeling, Joint Construction, IndependentConstruction). Life-skills dapat diterapkan melalui: 1) pembiasaan; 2) memanipulasi isi materi; 3)penguatan dan pembetulan perilaku; dan 4) memanipulasi aktifitas kelas.Kata kunci: Kecakapan hidup, tahapan pembelajaran, proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

AbstractThis community service is carried out in form of entrepreneurship training and practicing making soybean milk (theory and practice) for the PKK women in Bulusan, Tembalang-Semarang. It was held on Saturday, March 18th 20012 at 09.00 A.M until 02.00 P.M. It was in the hall of Bulusan centre. The goal of this community service is to build the entrepreneurship by giving the training in making soybean milk in individual and groups. The audiences were also given the financial calculation of selling soybean milk and how to start selling it efficiently. The method which was used in this community service was explaining, question and answer, and direct practice. The result of this community servise shows that most of the PKK women are interested in developing the entrepreneurship by selling the product of soybean milk. It will be realized by their next trading of soybean milk.Key Words: Entrepreneurship, Business and Soybean MilkAbstrakKegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan (teori dan praktik) mengenai kewirausahaan dan praktik pembuatan susu kedelai bagi PKK Kelurahan Bulusan Kecamatan Tembalang Kota Semarang. Kegiatan ini telah dilaksanakan pada hari Sabtu, tanggal 18 Maret 2012 jam 09.00 WIB ?óÔé¼ÔÇ£ 14.00 WIB yang bertempat di aula kelurahan Bulusan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memperdayakan PKK kelurahan Bulusan dalam berwirausaha dengan diberi pelatihan membuat susu kedelai secara mandiri dan kelompok. Informasi perhitungan dana berwirausaha dengan produk susu kedelai, dan bagaimana memasarkan produk susu kedelai juga disampaikan dalam kegiatan ini. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah, tanya jawab, dan praktik langsung. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya minat yang besar dari PKK Bulusan untuk mengembangkan kewirausahaan dengan membuat susu kedelai. Hasil dari pelatihan ini akan direalisasikan dengan usaha kelompok pembuatan susu kedelai.Kata Kunci: Kewirauasahaan, Bisnis, dan Susu Kedelai

Abstrak Berdasarkan PP No.1 tahun 2010 tentang Pengembangan Keprofesian Berkelanjutan disebutkan bahwa guru wajib melakukan pengembangan profesinya. Diantaranya adalah dengan melakukan karya tulis ilmiah dan publikasi ilmiah.Selanjutnya berdasarkan peraturan tersebut juga disebutkan bahwa untuk kenaikan pangkat seorang guru dari Golongan III b ke berikutnya seorang guru harus memiliki kredit poin yang berhubungan dengan pengembangan diri dan karya tulis ilmiah. Salah satu upaya melakukan penelitian yang berkenaan dengan pembelajaran di kelas adalah dengan melakukan PTK (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas). Di kota Semarang terdapat 89 SMK negeri dan swasta.Pada kenyataaannya. sebagian besar guru masih mengalami kesulitan untuk melakukan PTK?é?á yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya pengetahuan yang mendasar?é?á tentang PTK. Sedangkan permasalahan lain adalah?é?á pemahaman guru dan sekolah terhadap penelitian yang masih bervariasi sehingga mempengaruhi dalam penerapannya di lapangan. Terlebih untuk bidang studi bahasa Inggris di SMK, sebagian besar guru masih merasa kesulitan dalam melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas yang berkaitan dengan bidang studi yang diampunya. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut di atas,maka dipandang perlu adanya penataran, pelatihan, pembimbingan, dan pendampingan tentang PTK. Oleh karena itu, tim Pengabdian pada Masyarakat IKIP PGRI Semarang berencana membatu para guru dalam melaksanakan PTK di lapangan. Keluaran yang diharapkan dari kegiatan ini adalah berupa laporan pelaksanaan PTK serta artikel ilmiah yang siap dipublikasikan dalam jurnal penelitian. ?é?á Kata kunci: PTK, guru bahasa Inggris SMK, workshop ?é?á ?é?á Abstract Based on Government Regulation No. 1 of 2010 on Sustainable professional development mentioned that teachers are required to perform their professional development . Among them is to conduct the scientific papers and publications. Then, based on that regulation is also mentioned that for the promotion of a teacher of level III b next to a teacher should have the credit points associated with self-development and scientific papers . One of the efforts to conduct research relating to the learning in the classroom is to do (Classroom Action Research ) . In Semarang, there are 89 vocational high Semarang state and private. In fact, in Semarang there are still most teachers have difficulty to perform PTK (Classroom Action Research ) caused by a lack of fundamental knowledge about it. Meanwhile, another problem is the understanding of teachers still varies so affecting in its application in the field. Especially in the field of English language studies at SMK , most teachers still feel difficulties in classroom action research related to the field of study. In connection with the above , it is seemed necessary to upgrading , training , coaching , and mentoring of PTK . Therefore , a team of Community Service University of PGRI Semarang have petrified teachers in implementing PTK in the field . The expected outcomes of this activity is a report on the implementation of PTK and scientific articles published in research journals ready. Abstract

Abstract The main purpose of this program (IbM) is to provide training to junior and senior high school teachers of Tugu Soeharto Semarang on how to arrange Learning Program Plan (RPP) based on the latest curriculum, Curriculum 2013. It was a training held on every Saturday in January 25-February 15, 2014 at SMP/SMA Tugu Soeharto Semarang which was attended by 25 participants comprising teachers of junior high / senior high school of Tugu Soeharto and several schools in the vicinity. The method used in this training are lectures, discussion, practice, discussion and evaluation. Lectures include the introduction of Curriculum 2013, the Approach in Education (Teaching Approach), Syllabus and RPP, and Authentic Assessment (Authentic Assessment). This training also includes improvements to the product as an effort that teachers are able to produce lesson plans based on Curriculum 2013 and the right in the hope of learning the teacher can set up the device in carrying out teaching and learning activities appropriately. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan setiap hari Sabtu di tanggal 25 Januari-15 Pebruari 2014 bertempat di SMP/SMA Tugu Soeharto Semarang oleh Tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris IKIP PGRI Semarang yang diikuti oleh 25 peserta yang terdiri dari guru-guru SMP/SMA Tugu Soeharto dan beberapa sekolah di sekitarnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah ceramah, tanya jawab, praktek, diskusi dan evaluasi. Ceramah meliputi Pengenalan Kurikulum 2013, Pendekatan dalam Pembelajaran (Teaching Approach), Silabus dan RPP, dan Penilaian Autentik (Authentic Assessment). Pelatihan ini juga meliputi perbaikan produk sebagai upaya agar para guru mampu menghasilkan RPP Kurikulum 2013 dengan benar dengan harapan para guru dapat menyusun perangkat pembelajaran dalam melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar dengan tepat. ?é?á Kata kunci: Kurikulum 2013, RPP, Pelatihan ?é?á
