Abstract

Based on a survey by “Mars”, about 59% of dogs and 52% of cats weighed more than they should. This is the motivation of this research in designing a feeding and drinking automation for pets so that it is easier for owners to take care their pet's health diet, and so that owners don't have to worry about forgetting to feed their pets. To connect to the internet, ESP32 is used. The supporting components consist of load cell (weight sensor), three ultrasonic sensors (proximity sensor), servo motor and pump motor. These components are combined to carry out the function of feeding and drinking automatically. The device will run after being given an order via website or application. For the feeding system, the animal owner can provide input on the schedule, frequency and portion of feeding. While the drinking system, the owner can press the calibration button and the pause button. Tests are carried out on each sensor, to measure its accuracy and testing of the entire system is carried out to ensure all components work together to carry out their functions. The test results show that every hardware and software component has worked in accordance with the designed objectives.

Abstract

Pong's Snack is an MSMEs originating from Ponggang Village that produces various types of snacks such as opak, rengginang, cassava chips, wajid, potato chips, taro chips, banana chips, Seroja, kicimpring, and cistik. MSMEs in Ponggang Village still use conventional methods, such as marketing products by entrusting them to stalls, can order in advance via telephone number and the product is delivered directly to the customer. Therefore, the author helps MSMEs to be better known to the wider community by entering the products produced by MSMEs into the Pareang Sate Restaurant and selling their products online through the Tokopedia application. To be able to market products online, it is necessary to take steps that can be used as guidelines in digital marketing activities aimed at the target market and known as AIDA (Awareness, Interest, Desire, and Action). The first step taken by the author so that Pong's Snack MSMEs products can be known to consumers is to build awareness of consumers by using the 7P product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence approach. To increase interest in buying a product, a standing pouch is used an attractive label and packaging design.

Abstract

SMP Kristen Harapan Untuk Bangsa is located on Jl. Kebantenan I no 10, Cilincing, North Jakarta. According to Basic Education and Culture Data (DAPOKDIKBUD), this school has 9 teaching staff. This school is also equipped with one science and computer laboratory to support the teaching and learning process . Most of the students of SMPK Kristen Harapan Bagi Bangsa come from lower-middle economic families. This condition makes students from this school not easy to get the opportunity to take courses outside school hours, due to economic difficulties . For this reason, the role of the school is expected so that students from this school still have the opportunity to enrich knowledge through learning outside school hours, namely in the form of extra-curricular activities. In order for students to have the knowledge to be able to choose a Vocational High School that suits students' talents and interests, the school facilitates extracurricular activities of Basic Electronics training. In June 2023, the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Atma Jaya Catholic University held a community service program with the skills taught were component introduction, measuring instrument reading techniques and making LED light circuit modules. Soldering training and making Light Emitting Diode modules were conducted for 3 days. From the results of the questionnaire, it can be seen that students are enthusiastic and claim to have gained knowledge from this training.

Abstract

Individu yang berkebutuhan khusus memiliki suatu potensi yang dapat dikembangkan untuk kehidupannya. Untuk itu terdapat berbagai akses yang dapat digunakan dalam menumbuhkan dan mengembangkan suatu potensi agar menjadi karya yang konkret. Lebih lanjut, sarana mengembangkan potensi untuk anak berkesulitan belajar (ABB) melalui pendidikan secara formal dan upaya mengembangkan diri secara nonformal. Melalui perpaduan aspek tersebut seorang ABB akan mampu mengolah dirinya untuk menghasilkan suatu produk kreatif. Pada program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, Yayasan Peduli Anak Spesial (YPAS) berkolaborasi dengan Unika Atma Jaya mempersembahkan hasil kreativitas yang telah dibangun. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa talkshow dan pameran hasil karya ABB dilaksanakan pada 24 Mei 2023 dan mengundang ABB, orang tua ABB, dosen, guru, mahasiswa, dan lain-lainnya. Kegiatan meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi hasil. Evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan nilai rata-rata dan persentase terhadap sesi talkshow, hasil karya ABB, hingga teknis dan fasilitas kegiatan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa masih kurang minat pembeli dan mempromosikan hasil karya yang luas serta untuk ke depannya perlu mengundang orang tua ABB, perusahan lembaga, institusi, dan agen sebagai narasumber hingga memperhatikan berbagai teknis acara.

Abstract

This research is about Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) at PT. Gunanusa Utama Fabricators, offshore platform construction company. The research was conducted from January to March 2024, with the number of employees working at this company varying each month: 256 employees in January, 281 employees in February, and 331 employees in March. Descriptive methods with a qualitative approach were used to collect data through in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation studies. The research results show that HRIS significantly increases the efficiency of HR administration by automating processes, enabling more informed decision making based on data, and optimizing employee skills management. However, the main challenges faced include resistance to change from employees and changes in organizational culture required to support the adoption of new technologies. Large and complex companies, with most employees being contract workers, add to the challenges in implementing HRIS. This research emphasizes the importance of effective change management in overcoming these barriers to maximize the benefits of HRIS in the context of the dynamic construction industry

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to explain that learning is the main activity in the whole educational process in schools. Learning is a process to achieve the success of educational goals in schools. The success of student learning depends on how the learning process is experienced by students as students, and teachers as educators who are directly involved in the implementation of learning. To improve the learning process of students, teachers must be able to choose and apply appropriate learning methods to improve student achievement. The research method used in this research is descriptive research with qualitative analysis. active knowledge sharing is a strategy that can bring students of SMA Negeri-1 Manuhing to be ready and active in learning activities. This strategy can be used to see the level of ability of students in learning.

Abstract

Background. Reflecting Pancasila in research world not necessarily discussing Indonesian citizenship as a civil society, these discourses widened to theological settings, particularly scriptural texts that are often used as sermons in pulpits. Indonesian ideological issues encountering Christianity have flowed and led to the entanglement of structural issues. Purpose. The aim of research was to explore the threads of nationalism in Pancasila, specifically crossing over with Christian values. Method. Based on qualitative research, researchers searched data through previous writings relevant to Pancasila, education, scriptural texts and their history. Results. Results showed that Christianity has brought goodness news not just limited to Christians, but also brought light for the world as reflections of socialist human beings. It must be understood that Indonesian nationalism is nationalism that rejects all forms of discrimination, oppression, injustice, and denial of divine values, as contained in Pancasila. Conclusion. Citizens have four main roles in the nation and state, namely as iron stock, social by control, agent of change, and also moral force. Those four main roles in running the life of the state are certainly not at all contradictory to Christianity. By performing these four roles, Christians show the quality of their Christian faith by becoming good citizens.

Abstract

Hidroponik tipe shade house semi terbuka memiliki sistem tanam yang terbebas dari hama tanaman serta suhu di dalam shade house lebih terjaga. Suhu di dalam shade house diatur dengan menggunakan sprayer untuk jangka waktu setiap 30 menit dilakukan pengabutan air dengan memanfaatkan pompa tekanan tinggi. Kabut air dapat menjaga suhu ruangan shade house hidroponik sehingga tanaman dapat tumbuh dengan subur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang tahapan dalam perancangan panel surya sebagai sumber energi alternatif khususnya dalam sistem tanam hidroponik. Indonesia merupakan daerah yang memiliki iklim tropis sehingga Indonesia selalu disinari Matahari sepanjang tahun. Hal tersebut menjadi sumber energi yang sangat berpotensi untuk dikembangkan.  Dalam penelitian ini energi alternatif panel surya dirancang sebagai sumber listrik dari pompa sprayer pendingin yang meliputi penentuan jumlah kebutuhan daya harian, analisis Peak Sun Hours (PSH), efisiensi dan kapasitas panel surya yang dibutuhkan untuk menangkap energi matahari yang tersedia, kapasitas baterai, serta waktu pengisian baterai. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan bahwa beban pemakaian daya harian total adalah 417,6Wh dengan efisiensi energi listrik yang dibangkitkan dari panel surya masing-masing panel surya adalah sebesar 98,8Watt dengan jumlah radiasi matahari yang diterima permukaan panel surya selama 5 jam 23 menit. Kapasitas baterai yang digunakan adalah 12V 100Ah membutuhkan waktu pengisian baterai 4 jam 27 menit dengan panel surya sejumlah 4 buah yang disusun secara paralel. Semi-open shade house type hydroponics has a planting system that is free from plant pests, and the temperature inside the shade house is maintained more. The temperature in the shade house is regulated using a sprayer every 30 minutes; the water is misted using a high-pressure pump. Water mist can maintain the hydroponic shade house's room temperature so plants can grow well. This research provides an overview of the stages in designing solar panels as an alternative energy source, especially in hydroponic planting systems. Indonesia is an area with a tropical climate, so Indonesia is always illuminated by the sun all year round. This is an energy source that has great potential to be developed. In this research, alternative energy solar panels are designed as a source of electricity from a cooling sprayer pump, which includes determining the amount of daily power requirements, analysis of Peak Sun Hours (PSH), efficiency and capacity of solar panels needed to capture available solar energy, battery capacity, and time. battery charging. The design results show that the total daily power consumption load is 417.6Wh, with the efficiency of the electrical energy generated from the solar panels for each solar panel being 98.8Watt with the amount of solar radiation received by the surface of the solar panels for 5 hours 23 minutes. The battery capacity used is 12V 100Ah, requiring a battery charging time of 4 hours 27 minutes with four solar panels arranged in parallel.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPupilometri merupakan metode pengukuran respons pupil terhadap stimulus. Kemampuan pupil mata dalam merespons cahaya diamati melalui pupillary light response (PLR). Penelitian mendapati PLR pasien demensia berbeda dengan pasien normal. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang algoritma computer vision yang dapat mendeteksi pupil secara akurat, menampilkan respons pupil terhadap cahaya dalam bentuk grafik dan PLR pada sebuah aplikasi desktop, yang mengendalikan goggles berisi rangkaian kamera, pencahayaan, dan sensor jarak VL53L0X. Rekaman diproses dengan Local Binary Pattern (LBP) dan deteksi kontur untuk mendeteksi pupil. Data pengukuran diproses dan disimpan pada basis data lokal dan aplikasi web, sehingga tenaga medis dapat menentukan ada atau tidaknya gejala demensia pada pasien lansia. Tingkat ketelitian algoritma pengukuran pupil sebesar 73,33% yang didapatkan dari 30 kali pengujian.Kata kunci: computer vision, demensia, deteksi dini, pupillary light response, pupilometri ABSTRACTPupillometry is a method of measuring the pupil’s response towards stimulus. Pupil response to light is observed through pupillary light response (PLR). Research found that PLR values of patients suffering from dementia differ from that of normal patients. This study implements a computer vision algorithm that accurately detects the pupil, calculates, and shows its response towards light in graphs and PLR values on a desktop application which controls goggles that contain a camera, lighting setup, and the VL53L0X distance sensor. Video is processed using Local Binary Pattern (LBP) and contour detection to detect the pupil. Results are processed and saved in the local and web database, so experts can determine the presence of dementia symptoms in the elderly patient. The accuracy of the pupil detection algorithm is 73,33%, as obtained from 30 tests.Keywords: computer vision, dementia, early detection, pupillary light response, pupillometry

Abstract

Christian religious education has a significant role in shaping students' character and morality, but the challenges faced in increasing students' interest in learning are often the focus of attention. In an effort to overcome this, recent research has highlighted the importance of choosing effective learning models in increasing students' interest in learning in Christian Religious Education subjects. Choosing the right learning model can play a key role in stimulating students' interest in learning, because it not only teaches subject matter, but also creates an interesting and relevant learning environment. Educators need to consider various learning models that are appropriate to the learning theme in order to increase student interest and involvement. A learning approach that is interesting and relevant to students' needs can help motivate them to learn better
