Abstract

Nowadays, the times are growing rapidly, demanding various fields to improve their quality, especially in the world of education. Sustainable education does not only focus on schools located in urban areas, but also voices coming from schools in certain areas, far from the boisterous development of technology, according to the authors have to be heard as a main voice in an investigation. In particular, significant voices emanate out of SMA Negeri 1 Kapuas Hilir and SMK Negeri 1 Kuala Kapuas, Central Kalimantan. Furthermore, it aimed to analyze the methods of improving educational performance in schools. The qualitative method used throughout the interview process involved collecting data from three interviewees or research subjects. Based on gathering data, information, and facts, the researchers found that: educational quality is determined by input factors (condition of students), process (creation of learning atmosphere), and environment (family, community, and nature), as well as facilities and infrastructure (devices that facilitate learning activities). Improving educational performance requires teachers' professionalism as it influences the advancement of educational development in SMA Negeri 1 Kapuas Hilir and SMK Negeri 1 Kuala Kapuas, Central Kalimantan. The results showed that there are directions and activities in upgrading, seminars, training, conducting inter-school visits to gain experience from other school teachers as a source of reference. Furthermore, based on reevaluation, teachers and education officials through research on other schools, saw unique and important steps forward when they looked at the lens of educational problems located in locations distant from hustle and technology acceleration.

Abstract

Background. Reflecting Pancasila in research world not necessarily discussing Indonesian citizenship as a civil society, these discourses widened to theological settings, particularly scriptural texts that are often used as sermons in pulpits. Indonesian ideological issues encountering Christianity have flowed and led to the entanglement of structural issues. Purpose. The aim of research was to explore the threads of nationalism in Pancasila, specifically crossing over with Christian values. Method. Based on qualitative research, researchers searched data through previous writings relevant to Pancasila, education, scriptural texts and their history. Results. Results showed that Christianity has brought goodness news not just limited to Christians, but also brought light for the world as reflections of socialist human beings. It must be understood that Indonesian nationalism is nationalism that rejects all forms of discrimination, oppression, injustice, and denial of divine values, as contained in Pancasila. Conclusion. Citizens have four main roles in the nation and state, namely as iron stock, social by control, agent of change, and also moral force. Those four main roles in running the life of the state are certainly not at all contradictory to Christianity. By performing these four roles, Christians show the quality of their Christian faith by becoming good citizens.

Abstract

Reading, writing and storytelling are much discussed these days. Either based on the Indonesian government's priority program for accelerating the globalization of technology, or as a space for academic and practical conversations across central and regional education. The problem becomes a problem as more and more solutions are applied by previous research, therefore, it became necessary to search for the latest gap to find a gap as a research differentiation with previous research, especially regarding reading, writing and storytelling. Thus, the problem in this investigation is the necessity of a positive narrative of reading, writing, and storytelling that needs to be re-expressed through narrative and then criticized based on field findings. This research method uses a qualitative method with data search through interviews and literature sources as primary and secondary sources. The results showed that the three narratives, namely Pigytpught, Ydkosktep and Ykchaefctkcha, tell about problems as well as empty spaces in reading, writing and storytelling from the context of Central Kalimantan as a user of one of the government programs related to reading, writing and storytelling

Abstract

The researcher's research is motivated by the extent to which subjects or students in the context of understanding the term discipline in the scope of inside and outside the classroom. The extent of this understanding cannot be separated from the culture that students have received both in the family room and in the classroom. In addition, the assumption of many people that discipline is a negative impulse – that the institution or the term discipline exists to be violated – is not entirely true. However, in this paper, the author is not looking for the extent of the right and wrong percentage of the logical consequences of discipline. Instead, the author looks at the extent to which the narratives that are often not heard by the public appear in the writing of the research subject. This qualitative research uses the interview method by recording every conversation between the two parties, namely the interviewer and the research subject who comes from various SMKNs in Buntok, Central Kalimantan. Furthermore, the author transcribed the interviews from the audio recordings. The results of this study show that discipline should be in the space of dialog (discipline as a work in time) that is mutually beneficial between teachers and students. Thus, the negotiation space is important here. Then, the author found that learner independence is an implementative action of the current learning curriculum. Furthermore, the extent of discipline is the extent to which the limits of discipline are contained and applied in the school room.

Abstract

This research aims to see the extent of perception, stigma and behavior of someone who holds the status of single. The research subjects consisted of students and those who have worked in a company. The stigma of being single can lead a person to be traumatized, less confident, aloof and powerless over themselves and outside themselves. Nonetheless, the four research subjects described being single as activity, creation, self-development, strengthening of the main self and carrying oneself through a good response to something that appears outside oneself. This study is a qualitative research by considering the case of singles, happiness, and unrest through literature review. The literature review comes from journals of recent findings as a secondary source in a study. The statement of this research is that being single is not only a choice, but the ability to build self and dignity in a process and inherent. The results showed that the four research subjects were able to resist stigma with constructive work in the classroom or at work as a stabilization of self-recognition to exist on the onslaught of stigma.

Abstract

The goal of this research is that the authors are not in the discussion of catcalling, joking, or compliments that lead to sexual harassment, even though they are all part of sexual harassment. In addition, the authors are also not on a case-by-case exploration of sexual harassment. Researchers rather present the diversity of voices of sexual harassment survivors who are traumatized and then dare to rise with a variety of experiences as resistance to trauma. This qualitative research uses data search and analysis techniques through interviews with three research subjects. The results showed that although the victim limped out of the grip of prolonged trauma, over time, the victim managed to rise through parental support and the diversion of positive and profitable activities for the victim. Support and business opportunities become mental treatment to be brave and resistance tools through oneself to be empowered.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the lack of research that shows traditional musical instruments in Central Kalimantan in the form of visualization (images) and elaboration with culture, maintenance space and also religion, which is basically applicable and useful for the maintenance of property, culture, philosophical values contained therein. This research method is qualitative research with data search through visualization of images or camera shots of the authors directly to the source of traditional musical instruments in Palangka Raya. The results show that diversity, Indonesianness through gotong royong, instrument maintenance, culture and religion are inextricably intertwined as a space for diversity and religiosity and at the same time as a further elaborative space to explore musical instruments with something that enriches art.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to re-examine Norman Fairclough's concepts of discourse, critical discourse on media, language, technology, and management. Despite capitalism historically bringing ideals in the name of economic improvement after the Second World War, in practice, the commodification of language and economy became inevitable. Therefore, it is crucial to incorporate Norman Fairclough's notion of critical awareness of political agendas within the language spectrum in the analysis. The language used is clear, concise, and objective, with a logical flow of information and causal connections between statements. This text presents a qualitative research method that involves collecting data from primary and secondary sources. The results demonstrate that Norman Fairclough's concept of language in the context of management, discourse, technology, music, and policy serves as a platform for discourse development and as a tool to resist the commodification of meaning and ideology in a multifaceted landscape. Furthermore, Fairclough's ideas have contributed to the critical development of discourse analysis, which not only applies to specific disciplines but also to conversations in the humanities.
