This study examines the effect of using coral stone as a substitute for fine aggregate on the compressive strength of concrete. Tests were conducted with varying coral stone replacement percentages ranging from 0% to 100%. The results showed that coral stone can enhance the compressive strength of concrete, with an optimal replacement level of 80%, resulting in a 21.16% increase compared to normal concrete. However, replacements above 80% led to a decline in compressive strength, particularly at the 100% replacement level, which showed a 9.37% reduction in strength compared to normal concrete. This decrease was caused by increased porosity, varying aggregate quality, and an imbalance in the water-cement ratio, which disrupted the hydration process and microstructure formation of the concrete. Based on these findings, coral stone can be an effective alternative to replace fine aggregate such as sand, but its use should be limited to 80% to maximize the strength improvement without reducing performance.

Metrologi legal merupakan aspek penting dalam kegiatan pengukuran yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah daerah untuk memastikan ketertiban ukur yang benar dan adil dalam masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian yaitu menganalisis implementasi Pengawasan Metrologi Legal dalam mendukung Daerah Tertib Ukur (DTU) di Kabupaten Samosir dan mengidentifikasi kendala atau tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasi pengawasan metrologi legal dalam mendukung Daerah Tertib Ukur (DTU) di Kabupaten Samosir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis isi. Sedangkan data primer diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan wawancara saat kegiatan pengawasan metrologi lega. Kesimpulan sebagai berikut: 1. Evaluasi mencakup penilaian terhadap tingkat kepatuhan terhadap standar metrologi legal masih rendah. Temuan yang diperoleh dilapangan terkait tingginya persentase UTTP yang tidak bertanda tera sah yang berlaku atau tidak disertai dengan surat keterangan tertulis pengganti tanda tera sah dikarenakan pegawai berhak tidak tersedia. Demikian juga terkait BDKT, terdapat persentase kesesuaian pelabelan produk masih rendah dikarenakan alat standar dan perlengkapannya tidak tersedia dan/atau tidak dikalibrasi/diverifikasi sesuai syarat teknis. 2. Kendala atau tantangan yang dihadapi yaitu pegawai berhak untuk melakukan tera/tera ulang UTTP tidak tersedia, alat standar dan perlengkapannya tidak tersedia dan/atau tidak dikalibrasi/diverifikasi sesuai syarat teknis untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pengawasan metrologi legal, dan anggaran kegiatan pengawasan kemetrologian pada Dinas tidak tersedia.

This study introduces a scheduling model for a two-machine flow shop batch system to minimize the actual flow time. In this system, two machines are responsible for processing raw materials and producing finished products, with a single bottleneck machine. The entity overseeing the manufacturing process organizes demand units into batches, ensures the accurate and timely arrival of raw materials, and delivers all finished products punctually to meet an expected due date. The study addresses crucial challenges, including determining the optimal number of batches, sizes, and sequences to achieve the specified objective. The analysis adopted an algorithm grounded in the Lagrange relaxation method to tackle these challenges. Moreover, the algorithm is operated by identifying the bottleneck machine as a scheduling reference and determining the appropriate number of batches and sizes. The analysis showed the efficacy of the developed algorithm by using Johnson's rule for making batch sequence decisions through numerical experiments conducted across 1000 cases. The results showed a 1.44% to 4.43% improvement in efficiency compared to previous research, accompanied by a 2–8 times reduction in computational time.

Kegiatan ini dilaksanakn dilembang Marante selama 6 bulan mulai dari bulan juni –November 2022. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 40 peserta yang dibagi kedalam dua kelompok. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilaksanakn di dua tempat yaitu di kantor lembang Marante dan di rumah kepala dusun Marante pada sore hari. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan 3 kali dalam seminggu yaitu pada hari senin, rabu dan sabtu. Dari hasil Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) telah berjalan dengan baik dan memberikan hasil yang positif. Dari hasil yang ditemukan setalah melakukan bimbingan belajar menunjukkan bahwa ternyata pengajaran kosa kata bahasa Inggris menggunakan Games memberikan dampak yang positif. Hal ini dapat dilihat darai hasil pre-test dan post test. Hasil post-test lebih besar dibandingkan dengan pre-test. Juga dengan hasil wawancara dengan peserta menunjukkan bahaw pembelajaran menggunakan game membuat mereka termotivasi dan bersemagat belajar bahasa inggris. Selain itu, mereka juga merasa tidak tegang dan cenderung lebih santai dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini juga disambut positif oleh s masyarakat lembang Marante.

Di tengah perkembangan teknologi, angka pengguna internet semakin meningkat setiap hari, namun keamanan dalam berselancar pada jaringan komputer/internet merupakan faktor yang sering kali dilupakan oleh penggunanya. Salah satu gangguan yang banyak terjadi pada jaringan komputer adalah penyebaran worms. Banyak upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk menjaga keamanan dijaringan komputer tersebut contohnya adalah dengan melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap paket yang melintas pada jaringan tersebut, namun proses pengamatan tersebut akan menghasilkan suatu log data dalam jumlah yang sangat besar, yang akan memakan waktu untuk melakukan proses analisa. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengembangkan suatu aplikasi untuk membantu mengolah log data hasil packet analyzer untuk menghasilan suatu laporan dengan cepat dan lebih akurat

As the regional organization responsible for fulfilling the community's water demands, the Municipal Waterworks in Indonesia, Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM), is expected to ensure consistent and equitable distribution of clean water. However, water leaks and other issues in PDAMs tend to reduce the amount of water distributed to the community. An initiative to address water demands at the provincial level has been implemented, placing specific emphasis on the distribution of bulk water across regencies and cities. This initiative is classified as a fundamental service under the Minimum Service Standards (MSS), which aim to improve the availability of water resources. STELLA 9.1.3 software is used in this study to run a policy model simulation and determine the best possible policy scenario for clean water management in Sleman Regency. Sleman Regency is expected to have a water deficit of 144 liters per second in 2035, according to water balance modeling conducted under Business as Usual (BaU) conditions. According to the policy scenario simulation results, show that reducing air leakage by up to 20% and implementing a strategy for maximizing air flow utilization (100%) between districts/cities can increase water availability by 283.72 liters per second.

Desynchronization between incoming containers and lifting forks prior to the starwheel is a common source of misalignment, container drops, and excessive mechanical load in 19-L bottled water filling lines. This study proposes a low-cost retrofit system that integrates a photodiode sensor with timer–relay logic to regulate start–stop motor control based on the real-time fork position. The system was implemented upstream of the filling station and evaluated during a three-week trial in an operating commercial facility. Results showed that the intervention reduced average starwheel load from 7.54 kg to 2.30 kg and decreased container-fall incidents by approximately 50%. In addition, the modification eliminated the need for one operator per shift, corresponding to annual labor savings of more than IDR 150 million and a payback period of less than one month. These findings demonstrate that photodiode-based synchronization can provide an industry-validated, cost-effective retrofit solution for packaging operations without the requirement for PLC reprogramming or major structural modification. Future work will address long-term durability, adaptability to different container geometries, and the potential integration of feedback and monitoring functions.

Christian religious education has a significant role in shaping students' character and morality, but the challenges faced in increasing students' interest in learning are often the focus of attention. In an effort to overcome this, recent research has highlighted the importance of choosing effective learning models in increasing students' interest in learning in Christian Religious Education subjects. Choosing the right learning model can play a key role in stimulating students' interest in learning, because it not only teaches subject matter, but also creates an interesting and relevant learning environment. Educators need to consider various learning models that are appropriate to the learning theme in order to increase student interest and involvement. A learning approach that is interesting and relevant to students' needs can help motivate them to learn better

Di dalam kegiatannya proses produksinya di Industri kimia disertai dampak positif dan negatif. Dampak positif dari industri kimia ini ini adalah dapat meningkatkan nilai ekonomi nasional serta menambah lapangan kerja bagi masyarakat sekitar. Dan dampak negatif nya adalah dampak keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja bagi pekerja dan lingkungan dan bahaya lainnya dari proses produksinya. Sebagai contoh risiko-risiko seperti ledakan, kebakaran dan risiko bahaya lainnya. Untuk mencegah kedaan darurat tersebut sesuai regulasi Peraturan Menteri Perindustrian Republik Indonesia Nomor 19 Tahun 2019 tentang Pencegahan dan Penanggulangan Keadaan Darurat Bahan Kimia Dalam Kegaiatan Industri Kimia. Maka PT. XYZ perlu dilakukan penilaian risiko dan kajian pencegahan dan penanggulangan keadaan darurat bahan kimia di PT. XYZ. Menggunakan Metode event tree analysis (ETA) pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis probabilitas kejadian kebakaran dari initiating Event. Hasil dari ETA kemudian dilanjutkan dengan perhitungan penilaian risiko untuk menghitung besaran risiko yang akan timbul.kriteria penilaian risiko menggunakan kriteria probability (kemungkinan) dan severity (keparahan) untuk matrik risiko yang digunakan oleh PT. XYZ menggunakan matrik 4x4 untuk worst case scenario 1 dengan nilai 2.5 x 10-1 menjadi 5 x 10-6 . Dan untuk worst case scenario 2 dengan nilai : 2.5 x 10-1 menjadi 5 x 10-6 .perlu secara rutin dilakukan preventive maintenance terhadap perlatan tanggap darurat yang ada dan selalu melakukan simulasi tanggap darurat untuk scenario terburuk yang kemungkinan terjadi di PT.XYZ.

This paper presents an enhanced study on the design, modeling, and implementation of a Negative Ion Generator (NIG) based on the MQ-135 air-quality sensor and Arduino Nano microcontroller. The research combines theoretical modeling of corona discharge, electric field dynamics, and Cockcroft–Walton (C–W) voltage multiplication with experimental validation. Measured pollutant reductions ranged between 25–40% within 10 minutes of ionization, correlating well with theoretical predictions [1]. The proposed smart NIG offers low-cost, energy-efficient, and automated operation suitable for modern indoor environments, contributing to the development of intelligent IoT-based air-quality systems [2]
