Abstract

ABSTRACT The study aims to evaluate the use of palm decanter on storability and palatability of pellet rabbit feed. There were four treatments, P0: rabbit pellets 0% palm decanter, P1: rabbit pellets 5% palm decanter, P2: rabbit pellets 10% palm decanter, P3: rabbit pellets 15% palm decanter. Pellets are prepared based on the standard nutritional needs of rabbits. Pellets were stored in 0.5 kg plastic bags for 0, 7, 14, and 21 days. Moisture, crude fat, and organoleptic content were carried out on pellet with storage times 0, 7, 14, and 21 days. Organoleptic was carried out by 20 panelists. Palatability was carried out for a pellet with seven days of storage and given to 5 rabbits. The moisture and crude fat content of pellet in all treatments ranged from 8.63-10.17%. The higher the palm decanter content, the pellet color tends to be black with a value of 2.6-4.3. The use of 15% palm decanter can cause pellets to have a slightly rancid aroma and a characteristic solid odor. The use of 15% palm decanter did not have a significant effect on rabbit feed consumption with the consumption range 74.93-145.73 g. The study concluded that rabbit pellets containing up to 15% palm mud with a storage time of 21 days did not reduce storability. Pellets containing up to 15% palm mud with a storage time of 7 days did not reduce palatability in rabbits. Key Words: palm decanter, pellet, rancidity, feed, palatability

Abstract

The great potential in coastal sandy lands is followed by various problems and limiting factors that cause the acceleration of land use for agricultural purpose run very slowly. To overcome these limiting factors, appropriate modification and implementation of innovation is needed, namely the providing of soil conditioning materials, such as organic matter. One source of organic material that is still very rarely used, affordable, easy and cheap and simple in its application is the waste of coconut powder and human waste which we call biococotin. Providing of biococotin in coastal sandy lands decreases basic pH near neutral, increasing levels of N, P, K, C-Organic and cation exchange capacity has decreased from 7.20 to 6.40%. N levels increased from 0.021% to 0.17%, P-available increased from 2.52 ppm to 20.13 ppm, K levels increased from 2.52 cmol (+) to 9.35 cmol (+) and CEC increased from 4, 04 cmol (+) / kg becomes 7.07 cmol (+) / kg. The best growth parameters (plant height, number of leaves, longest leaf length and longest leaf width) are shown by treatment 2 which is half the dose of NPK and biococotin. The best average planting weight and yield per ha is shown by treatment 2, which is half the dose of NPK and biococotin, which is 44.03 grams / plant and 26.41 tons / ha bicocotin. Keywords : Biococotin, Coastal area, Cocopeat

Abstract

Giving sakura block plus that contain katuk leaf and turmeric flour are expected to increase the production of milk from dairy cow in Sumber Mulya livestock group. Community service activities are carried out through several stages: socialization, training, demonstration plots, and field tests. Socialization aims to provide an understanding of the purpose and objectives of the activity. The training has several objectives, namely the introduction of sakura block plus supplements, understanding the benefits of sakura block plus supplements for dairy cattle, materials and equipment used, and practices. Making sakura block plus begins with weighing ingredients, then mixed them until blended. Then, heat the brown sugar that has been mixed with 20% water. After that, mix the ingredients with brown sugar. Next, sakura block plus is pressed by presses tool. The last stage is wrapping it using plastic wrap. The demonstration plot and field test were conducted for three months and using three dairy cattle. The forage consumption of dairy cows used in demonstration plots ranges from 40-45 kg/head/day. Milk production in Sumber Mulya livestock group is 10.28 liters/head/day. The use of sakura blok can increase milk production 2 until 3 liters/head/day. The average milk production after using sakura block plus can reach 13 liters/head/day.Keywords: katuk leaf; livestock group; milk; suplement.

Abstract

Abstrak. Program kemajuan IPTEKS ditujukan untuk menjaring kebutuhan pengembangan usaha (need  ssessment) dengan mereka, belum optimalnya kegiatan atau upaya yang sengaja diarahkan pada peningkatan peranan dan usaha. Implementasi pengabdian IPTEKS diharapkan akan meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat di Desa Rindu Hati dalam proses pengelolaan kopi. Tujuan yang akan di capai dalam pengabdian ini meliputi Masyarakat Desa Rindu Hati mampu meningkatkan kapasitas manajemen usaha kopi, Masyarakat Desa Rindu Hati mampu meningkatkan kapasitas produksi usaha kopi, dan mampu meningkatkan segmentasi penjualan usaha kopi. Jika dilihat dari permasalahan yang diungkap dalam analisa situasi dan permasalahan, pengrajin atau produsen kopi di Desa menghadapi permasalahan yang tidak ringan dan cukup kompleks untuk dapat tumbuh dan berkembang. Secara umum, permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh produsen kopi dapat dikategorikan dalam 3 (tiga) aspek, yaitu aspek manajemen usaha, produksi, dan pasar. Pelatihan diberikan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut yaitu pelatihan perencanaan usaha, pelatihan manajemen risiko, pelatihan penentuan harga dan persediaan, serta pengadaan rumah pegering kopi petik merah utuk memperbaiki pasca panen kopi. Hasil yang telah dicapai yaitu : pemahaman mengenai perencanaan usaha dimulai dari Proses pemilihan bahan baku kopi, Produksi, Perencanaan Kemasan, Perencanaan Pemasaran, Perencanaan Keuangan; Pemahaman mengenai risiko produksi kopi baik risiko murni dan risiko spekulasi, Risiko strategi, serta Risiko Operasional; pemahaman mengenai Penentuan harga pokok kopi yang dihasilkan berdasarkan metode penentuan harga pokok berdasarkan full cost, dan penentuan harga pokok berdasarkan competitor; pemahaman mengenai mengenai manajemen persediaan memilki materi mengenai bagaimana mengatur perssediaan kopi yang musiman dengan kondisi produksi kopi olahan; Pengadaan rumah pengeringan kopi merupakan program utama untuk menyelamatkan kopi petik merah di Desa Rindu Hati. Rumah pengering yang telah dibangun di Desa tersebut haruslah dapat digunakan dengan baik untuk menyimpan maupun mengeringkan kopi petik merah; Penggunaan rumah pengeringan kopi dan praktek secara langsung Kepada masyarakat desa rindu hati.Kata kunci : IPTEKS: Kopi: Rumah Pengeringan; Petik Merah

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pakan mengandung daun indigofera (Indigofera zollingeriana) terhadap respon fisologis dan hematologi kelinci Rex. Penelitian menggunakan 4 ekor kelinci Rex betina yang dibagi menjadi 2 perlakuan. P0 merupakan perlakuan tanpa mengandung daun indigofera, P1 merupakan perlakuan pakan mengandung 20 % daun indigofera. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian yaitu: laju respirasi, denyut jantung, suhu rektal, suhu kulit, kadar hemoglobin, jumlah eritrosit, nilai, jumlah leukosit, dan kadar glukosa. Data respon fisiologis didapatkan dari masing-masing 4 ekor kelinci di tiap perlakuan. Data respon fisiologis dianalisis menggunakan T-test, dan data hematologi didapatkan dari masing-masing dua ekor kelinci dari tiap perlakuan, dan data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian daun indigofera tidak memberikan pengaruh pada respon fisiologis kelinci. Hematologi kelinci yang diberi pakan daun indigofera masih dalam batas normal. Kelompok diet non-indigofera memiliki hemoglobin 11,5; eritrosit 3,7 × 106/mm3; 37,7 %; leukosit 9,8 × 103/mm3 dan glukosa 77,5 mg/dL. Kelinci pada kelompok indigofera memiliki hemoglobin 12,2, jumlah eritrosit 4,15 × 106/mm3, 39,55 %, leukosit 12,9 × 103/mm3 dan glukosa 87,0 mg/dL. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa daun indigofera dapat digunakan hingga level 20 % tanpa memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap respon fisiologis dan hematologi kelinci Rex.

Abstract

The development of preservation of the turtle ecotourism area at Tapak Paderi Beach by increasing the skill and innovative soft skills for out-of-school youth is the goal achieved in this community service. Through the Appreciative inquiry methods approach with the stages of team coordination, turtle counseling socialization and education, the introduction of basic welding techniques, making RUBAH and turtle aquascape. Overall results achieved are the implementation of socialization activities, training and guidance for school dropouts besides being realized in the implementation of basic techniques of small library welding (RUBAH), turtle aquascape making and broken youths to become tourist education guides for domestic and foreign tourists.

Abstract

 Provinsi Jambi terdapat Candi Muaro Jambi yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Kebudayaan yang melatar belakangi Situs Sejarah Muaro Jambi ialah kebudayaan Melayu Budhis. Situs Muaro Jambi lebih dikenal dengan sebutan Komplek Percandian Muaro Jambi. Pada tahun 1976 Direktorat Sejarah dan Purbakala mulai melakukan pembersihan terhadap tanaman- tanaman liar yang tumbuh di atas bangunan kuno secara bertahap. Sampai tahun 2003 telah teridentifikasi + 110 bangunan candi baik yang telah dipugar, belum dipugar maupun masih dalam bentuk manapo. Sampai saat ini baru 10 candi yang telah dipugar salah satunya candi muaro jambi dan candi kotomahligai. Kebudayaan Kabupaten Muaro Jambi mendapat pengakuan sebagai Warisan Budaya Tak Benda dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. Ada dua kebudayaan Muaro Jambi yang mendapat sertifikat Warisan Budaya Tak Benda, masing-masing Dzikir Bardah dan Nekut. Dzikir Bardah berasal dari Desa Muaro Jambi, sementara Nekut (memikat burung) merupakan kearifan lokal masyarakat terhadap alam semesta dari Desa Danau Lamo. Kedua kebudayaan tersebut berasal dari Kecamatan Maro Sebo. Namun kebudayaan dan objek wisata di kabupaten Muaro Jambi masih belum banyak tersentuh oleh masyarakat sehingga diperlukannya pelestarian kebudayaan dan peningkatan pariwisata di kecamatan Maro Sebo, kabupaten Muaro Jambi, provinsi Jambi melalui Festival Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata oleh peserta Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Bersama BKS-PTN Wilayah Barat Provinsi Jambi tahun 2021.  INTRODUCTION OF CULTURE AND TOURISM, MARO SEBO DISTRICT, MUAR JAMBI REGENCY THROUGH KKN BERSAMA BKS-WEST REGION, UNIVERSITY OF BENGKULU. In Jambi Province there is the Muaro Jambi Temple which is located in Muaro Jambi Regency. The culture behind the Muaro Jambi Historical Site is Malay-Buddhist culture. The Muaro Jambi site is better known as the Muaro Jambi Enshrinement Complex. In 1976 the Directorate of History and Antiquities began to gradually clean up the wild plants that grew on top of the ancient buildings. Until 2003, 110+ temple buildings had been identified, either restored, not yet restored or still in manapo form. So far, only 10 temples have been restored, one of which is the Muaro Jambi Temple and the Kotomahligai Temple. The culture of Muaro Jambi Regency has received recognition as an Intangible Cultural Heritage from the Ministry of Education and Culture. There are two Muaro Jambi cultures that have received Intangible Cultural Heritage certificates, namely Dhikr Bardah and Nekut. Dhikr Bardah comes from Muaro Jambi Village, while Nekut (attracting birds) is the local wisdom of the community towards the universe from Danau Lamo Village. Both cultures come from Maro Sebo District. However, culture and tourism objects in Muaro Jambi district are still not widely touched by the community so that it is necessary to preserve culture and increase tourism in Maro Sebo sub-district, Muaro Jambi district, Jambi province through the Cultural and Tourism Festival by participants of Real Work Lectures (KKN) with BKS-PTN West Region of Jambi Province in 2021.

Abstract

Tujuan program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Kebangsaan di Kelurahan Palingkau Baru adalah membantu perempuan pengrajin anyaman purun dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan keterampilan, dan pendapatan usahanya. Salah satu metode awal yang digunakan adalah melalui pembentukan kelompok pengrajin anyaman purun. Berdasarkan wawancara hasil observasi ditemukan bahwa pengrajin purun yang tersebar di Kelurahan Palingkau Baru belum memiliki ikatan kelompok. Selain itu, permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh pengrajin purun antara lain: Bahan baku tidak tercukupi; Produksi masih secara tradisional belum ada sentuhan teknologi; Manajemen pengelolaan usaha masih belum optimal; Pemasaran masih terbatas dan masih menggantungkan satu tengkulak; Keterampilan dalam diversifikasi produk anyaman purun masih terbatas dalam produk tikar dan bakul. Melihat Permasalahan tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian yang telah kami berikan kepada pengrajin purun antara lain: Melakukan musyawarah pembentukan kelompok pengrajin purun dengan dipandu oleh ketua RT dan Ketua LPMK; Membuatkan surat keterangan kelompok purun yang telah disetujui oleh pihak kelurahan untuk mendaftarkan kelompok pengrajin purun di Dinas Perindagkop UMKM agar mendapatkan pembinaan lebih lanjut; Berkolaborasi dengan Dinas Perindagkop UMKM Kabupaten Kapuas untuk melakukan pelatihan terkait dengan Diversifikasi produk anyaman purun dan digital Marketing; Pembuatan Logo usaha purun oleh mahasiswa peserta KKN Kebangsaan kepada masing-masing pengrajin purun. The aim of the KKN Program in the Calonkau Baru Sub-District is to help purun woven craftswomen to be able to Increase their knowledge, skills, and business income. One of the initial methods used was through the formation of a group of purun woven craftswomen. Based on the results of observations, it was found that purun craftswomen who were spread across the Mostkau Baru Village did not yet have a business group. In addition, the problems faced by purun craftswomen include Insufficient raw materials, Production still traditionally without a touch of technology, Business management still not optimal, Marketing still limited and still depends on one middleman, skills in the diversification of purun woven products still limited to mats and baskets. Based on these problems, the community service activities that we provided to purun craftswomen include: Conducting deliberations to form purun craftswomen business group guided by the head of the RT and the head of the LPMK; Making a certificate of purun business group that has been approved by the village administration to register purun craftswomen groups at the UMKM Perindagkop Service in order to get further guidance; Collaborating with the Kapuas Regency UMKM Perindagkop Service to conduct training related to the diversification of purun woven products and digital marketing; and Making a purun business logo by KKN students for each purun craftswomen.  Keywords: Purun, Empowerment, Diversification, Marketing

Abstract

Ketahanan pangan merupakan salah satu fokus pemerintah Indonesia untuk menuju kemandirian pangan nasional. Sebagai bentuk keseriusan pemerintah, ketahanan pangan menjadi tema besar dalam KKN Kebangsaan ke-X yang diselenggarakan di Kalimantan Tengah. Desa Anjir Serapat Tengah merupakan salah satu desa di Kecamatan Kapuas Timur, Kabupaten Kapuas yang menjadi lokasi KKN Kebangsaan ke-X. Desa Anjir Serapat Tengah memiliki beragam potensi meliputi industri, perikanan, perkebunan, dan potensi terbesar yaitu pertanian. Mayoritas masyarakat berprofesi sebagai petani. Meskipun memiliki potensi pertanian yang besar, terdapat permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat Desa Anjir Serapat Tengah seperti serangan hama dan penyakit tanaman, prevalensi stunting meningkat, dan kurang beragamnya konsumsi pangan masyarakat. Hal tersebut melatarbelakangi kelompok KKN menerapkan program Pekarangan Pangan Lestari (P2L). P2L merupakan salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada di Desa Anjir Serapat Tengah melalui pemberdayaan kelompok masyarakat dengan memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan untuk ditanami tanaman buah dan hortikultura. Penerapan program P2L dengan partisipasi aktif dari kelompok masyarakat yaitu Kelompok Tani Bahagia dan Pemberdayaan dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) Desa Anjir Serapat Tengah. Food security is one of the focuses of the Indonesian government towards national food self-sufficiency. As a form of the government's seriousness, food security is the big theme in the Xth National KKN held in Central Kalimantan. Anjir Serapat Tengah Village is one of the villages in East Kapuas District, Kapuas Regency which is the location of the Xth National KKN. Anjir Serapat Tengah Village has various potentials including industry, fisheries, and plantations. The greatest potential is agriculture. The majority of people work as farmers. Even though it has great agricultural potential, there are problems faced by the people of Anjir Serapat Tengah Village such as attacks by pests and plant diseases, the prevalence of stunting is increasing, and the lack of diversity in people's food consumption. This is the background for the KKN group to implement the Sustainable Food Yard (P2L) program. P2L is one of the solutions to overcome the problems that exist in Anjir Serapat Tengah Village through empowering community groups by utilizing their yards to plant fruit and horticultural crops. Implementation of the P2L program with the active participation of community groups, namely the Happy Farmers Group and Empowerment and Family Welfare (PKK) of Anjir Serapat Tengah Village. Moisture, crude fat, and organoleptic content were carried out on pellet with storage times 0, 7, 14, and 21 days. Organoleptic was carried out by 20 panelists. Palatability was carried out for a pellet with seven days of storage and given to 5 rabbits. The moisture and crude fat content of pellet in all treatments ranged from 8.63-10.17%. The higher the palm decanter content, the pellet color tends to be black with a value of 2.6-4.3. The use of 15% palm decanter can cause pellets to have a slightly rancid aroma and a characteristic solid odor. The use of 15% palm decanter did not have a significant effect on rabbit feed consumption with the consumption range 74.93-145.73 g. The study concluded that rabbit pellets containing up to 15% palm mud with a storage time of 21 days did not reduce storability. Pellets containing up to 15% palm mud with a storage time of 7 days did not reduce palatability in rabbits. Key Words: palm decanter, pellet, rancidity, feed, palatability
