Abstract

This research was conducted at Jorong Mudik Simpang Kenagarian Kajai West Pasaman Talamau subdistrict of West Sumatra. This research aims to analyze the role of the Community (family, school, peers) in providing pressure against dropping out of school or not to school dropout. Sample determination techniques generally purposive sampling because the Researcher has determined several criteria subject to use as a source of information in research 1 Person key informant, the informant and 5 people 6 people triangulation. Data analysis was done using descriptive qualitative and instrument data are observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the causes of dropouts and the factors that provide a threat to economic conditions, namely the desire itself, environmental factors and influence to peers. The environment is still at domination by the community or children who do not attend school and have a less knowledge will make the education of children who are still driven to school dropouts. The role of the community that always runs in the community will determine the attitude and the future of the child and of any community will generate cost and reward the actions that set the child either being dropouts or remain in school.Keywords: Endangered Dropouts, Community Roles, Jorong Mudik Simpang

Abstract

Gaya kepemimpinan merupakan norma perilaku yang digunakan oleh seseorang pada saat orang tersebut mencoba mempengaruhi perilaku orang lain. Atau dapat pula dikatakan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan adalah pola perilaku yang konsisten ditunjukkan dan sebagai yang diketahui oleh pihak lain ketika seseorang berusaha mempengaruhi kegiatan-kegiatan orang lain. Perilaku ini dikembangkan setiap saat dan yang dipelajari oleh pihak lain untuk mengenal ataupun menilai kepemimpinan seseorang. Namun demikian, gaya kepemimpinan seseorang tidaklah bersifat "fixed", yaitu bahwa seorang pemimpin mempunyai kapasitas untuk membaca situasi yang dihadapinya dan menyesuaikan gaya kepemimpinannya sesuai dengan situasi tersebut, meskipun penyesuaian itu mungkin hanya bersifat sementara Pada sisi lain, setiap pemimpin mempunyai sifat, kebiasaan, temperamen atau watak, dan kepribadian sendiri yang unik/khas, sehingga tingkah laku dan gayanyalah yang membedakannya dari orang lain

Abstract

Islamic Education Evaluation has many challenges. The author lists three of them. The first is that each student has different needs and learning styles. The second is that not all teachers can carry out proper and objective evaluation well. The third is cultural differences. This study aims to find out 1.identification of challenges in Islamic education evaluation 2.solutions to overcome challenges in Islamic education evaluation. This research uses qualitative-descriptive-literature method with data collection techniques including documentation such as books and journals. The author writes 3 (three) solutions to the 3 (three) challenges. The first is the suitability of the evaluation tool. Second is the standard for objectivity so as not to bias the evaluation. Third is a number of values related to cultural differences, namely tasamuh (tolerance), ta'awun (mutual help), and tawazun (harmony).

Abstract

Islamic boarding school Dalam Pagar Kandangan, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency which is in the management of developing the character of Islamic boarding school students in the context of discipline, love of the homeland, and caring for the environment, then in detail consistent and​ sustainable, the world of Islamic boarding schools accompanied by these principles can strengthen the unity and one unity that can become reflection And benchmark so that more prosperous and reach civilization Which brilliant. The aim of this study ; (1) Analyze practice and the management processes carried out in coaching character discipline at the Lodge Boarding school Dalam Pagar Kandangan. (2) Identify various efforts that have been made in coaching character Love homeland. (3) Study the challenges faced in management coaching character care environment, (4) Proposing possible strategies​ applied For overcoming challenges in management coaching characters in the cottage boarding school. The research method used in the research is descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted at Pondok Boarding school Dalam Pagar Kandangan with primary data sources ; Caregivers, Management, Students and secondary data sources ; in the research, namely lodge profile data and lodge history. As for The data collection used by the author is observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis in qualitative research. Results study This that is ; (1) Management of character development for students with: a) Planning that is affiliated with the understanding of Ahlu Sunnah Wal Jama'ah An Nahdliyah, education is directed at the realm of Tariqah knowledge, religious knowledge, general knowledge and skills. b ) Organizing through optimizing the role of the organizational structure, empowering Madrasah Ibtidayah. c ) Implementation through daily activities of students. d) Control is carried out through evaluation meetings, student regulations or rules of conduct, reorganization of the boarding school management, positive motivation and direction to the students. (2) The efforts made by Islamic boarding schools are collective, creative and innovative, grow love character land water. (3) These challenges include; challenges in implementation, challenges in policy and curriculum, educational personnel challenges and environmental and information technology challenges. (a) environmentally sound policies. (b) implementation of good environmental management, (c) exists development of environmentally friendly facilities and infrastructure in Islamic boarding schools. (d) there are character values that care about the environment. (4) The strategies that can be implemented are: the learning process, the formation of Islamic boarding school culture, co-curricular activities and extra-curricular activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out  the literacy management of school libraries, supporting and inhibiting factors, and strategies that can be applied by the library in an effort to motivate students' interest in reading at SMPN 3 Alalak and SMPN 4 Alalak as driving schools.The theory used in this study is the theory according to George R Terry. The methodology of this research uses a qualitative approach and this type of research uses qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that library management in SMPN 3 Alalak and SMPN 4 Alalak in motivating students' interest in reading includes the function of Planning is the development of collections and reference services. The Organizing Function is the division of library work programs and reference services. The function of Direction/implementation is the development of collections. The supervisory function is collaboration and partnership. Supporting and inhibiting factors to motivate students' interest in reading at SMPN 3 Alalak and SMPN 4 Alalak as driving schools include technological advancements, collection of reading materials, human resources, facilities and infrastructure. Strategies that can be applied by the library in motivating students' interest in reading as a driving school are increasing collection materials, providing adequate facilities and infrastructure, providing good services, holding additional programs such as conducting regular and continuous promotions. It can be concluded that at the end of the study, data was obtained for student visits to the SMPN 3 Alalak library reaching 27%, which is not yet classified as high student visits, while for SMPN 4 Alalak reaching 65%, it is classified as high student visits.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Analyze in depth how the implementation of human resource development based on the value of paddle baimbai in SMPIT Robbani and SMPIT ANIC Banjarbaru. 2) Evaluate the programs that have been implemented in human resource development in the two schools. 3) Analyze the obstacles and challenges faced. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type in the form of information in the form of descriptions. Documentation data collection techniques, observations, interviews with 2 principals, 5 deputy principals, and 4 teachers. Data processing techniques: reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that: 1) The implementation of human resource development based on the value of paddle baimbai at SMPIT Robbani is carried out based on teamwork and collaboration. Meanwhile, in SMPIT ANIC is based on morals and self-potential. 2) Programs implemented at SMPIT Robbani include APNI, IHT, Kombel, Morning Instruction, Training, Workshop, Supervision, Coaching, tahsin and teacher tahfizh. At SMPIT ANIC, there are training, mentorship, leadership development, character development and English learning. 3) The obstacles faced by SMPIT Robbani are the time of activities at the same time as other activities, lack of understanding, limited human resources, difficulties in implementation, and lack of motivation. The challenge faced is maintaining commitment. Meanwhile, the obstacles to SMPIT ANIC are limited time and availability of resources, underestimating training, resistance and motivation. The challenge faced is to change the mindset and ensure consistency of implementation in schools.

Abstract

The Society 5.0 era requires educational institutions to adapt quickly and strategically to the challenges and opportunities brought by technological advancements and artificial intelligence. This study aims to examine the forms and practices of school leadership based on values and systems in managing organizational change in education. Using a library research method, this study analyzes recent literature on transformational leadership, educational supervision, curriculum development, digital technology integration, and teachers’ digital literacy. The findings indicate that effective leadership integrates local and religious values—such as the Murakata philosophy and Islamic principles—with adaptive, collaborative, and technology-based management systems. Strategies involving supervision, curriculum adjustment, learning innovation, and teacher empowerment significantly contribute to improving educational quality. In conclusion, value- and system-based leadership is a strategic approach capable of responding to digital era challenges while positioning schools as centers of innovation and character building.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan pendidikan dalam perspektif umum yang melampaui pendekatan manajerial konvensional. Kepemimpinan dalam dunia Pendidikan memegang peranan strategis dalam menentukan arah dan kualitas proses belajar mengajar, dalam menghadapi kompleksitas permasalahan Pendidikan, dibutuhkan kemampuan pemimpin untuk mengambil Keputusan secara cermat, objektif, dan bertanggung jawab. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi kepemimpinan, pengambilan keputusan, dan implikasi pendidikan melalui kajian literatur sistematis. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik systematic literature review. Sumber data diperoleh dari publikasi akademik bereputasi dalam rentang waktu 2017-2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas keputusan dan efektivitas manajemen sekolah adalah Pendekatan sistematis yang melibatkan analisis logis, penggunaan data, pelibatan stakeholder, dan evaluasi berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Peran kepala sekolah sangat krusial dalam memelihara suasana harmonis di lingkungan sekolah melalui pengambilan keputusan yang tepat saat terjadi konflik dan perbedaan pendapat. Pengambilan keputusan yang tepat dan berbasis nilai-nilai kepemimpinan partisipatif sangat diperlukan untuk mengelola perbedaan pendapat secara konstruktif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menelusuri bagaimana peran kepala sekolah dalam pengambilan keputusan, menjelaskan cara pengelolaan perbedaan pendapat berdasarkan studi terdahulu, serta menyusun saran praktis dari hasil telaah literatur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian berupa studi literatur dengan menelaah berbagai sumber terkait kepemimpinan dan manajemen konflik di sekolah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah yang menerapkan kepemimpinan partisipatif dapat mengelola konflik dan perbedaan pendapat dengan melibatkan semua pihak secara aktif dalam proses pengambilan keputusan. Kepala sekolah perlu menguasai keterampilan komunikasi dan manajemen konflik untuk menciptakan keputusan yang adil dan mendukung keharmonisan di sekolah. Saran praktisnya adalah pentingnya pelatihan bagi kepala sekolah dalam pengelolaan konflik dan komunikasi efektif.
