Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Si Buyung Gymnastics in improving the manipulative skills of learners aged 6 years. The research method used was an experiment, and the sample used was 15 learners. The manipulative skill test instrument is adapted from the basic motion skills test, which is the test of catching and bouncing the ball. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, namely: (1) individuals who are willing to be subjects or permitted by parents or guardians; (2) kindergarten students; (3) 6 years old; and (4) students who are physically and spiritually healthy. Pretest and post-test data analysis techniques use paired T-test statistical techniques. The results showed that movement and song learning had an influence on improving the manipulative skills of kindergarten students; this was shown from the pretest and post-test results. The results of the statistical test T-paired pretest amounted to 16.67, while the post-test was 19.44. The paired T-test shows higher post-test results than the pretest. The results of the data analysis showed a real improvement in the students' ball-bouncing skills after being given the Si Buyung Gymnastics treatment.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran role playing materi bolavoli terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 62 siswa, yang dibagi kedalam kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner untuk mengukur karakter dalam olahraga. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran role playing pada materi bolavoli terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa dibandingkan model konvensional dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran role playing pada materi bolavoli efektif dalam pembentukan karakter siswa.

Abstract

Background: Despite the growing use of gymnastics programmes in early childhood education, most studies emphasise implementation and outcomes rather than the systematic development and rigorous validation of programme content. As a result, many programmes may be applied without sufficient empirical evidence of their appropriateness, limiting their effectiveness in promoting gross motor skill development. Objectives: This study aimed to develop and evaluate the content validity of a structured gymnastics programme designed to enhance gross motor skills in preschool children. Methods: This study employed a research and development (R&D) approach focusing on the content validation stage. The programme was evaluated by five expert validators with backgrounds in early childhood education, physical education, and children’s gymnastics. Content validity was assessed using Aiken’s V index based on expert ratings. Results: The findings indicated that all components of the developed programme achieved Aiken’s V values ranging from 0.80 to 1.00, demonstrating a high level of agreement among experts regarding the relevance, clarity, and appropriateness of the programme content. Conclusion: The results suggest that the developed gymnastics programme has strong content validity and is suitable for supporting gross motor skill development in preschool children. This study contributes by providing a systematically developed and empirically validated programme for early childhood physical education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan peserta didik yang belum mampu melakukan dribbling bola basket dengan baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dribbling melalui penerapan metode latihan berulang (drilling). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan di SMA N 2 Semarang dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 33 peserta didik kelas XI 8. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I, sebanyak 24 dari 33 siswa atau sebesar 72,72% mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Pada siklus II, terjadi peningkatan jumlah siswa yang tuntas menjadi 30 orang atau sebesar 90,9% dengan rata-rata nilai 83. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa metode drilling dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar dribbling dalam permainan bola basket. Dengan demikian, penggunaan metode latihan berulang dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan motorik peserta didik, khususnya dalam keterampilan dasar bola basket.
