Abstract

Curriculum is one of tool to achieve the goal of education for a nation that isupdated according to the needs and social conditions the country and in line withdevelopments in science and technology. Curriculum must always be able toanticipate the conditions for a dynamic society. Multiculturalism is one issue thatshould be concern in education since Indonesia is a multiclktural country completewith multicultural problems. Education is a strategic container to stem themulticultural issue. Multicultural education is not onlu education about cukturaldiversity but also provide space on education to change perspectives essentialmonoculture, prejudiced and discriminatory to multiculturalist perspective thatvalue diversity and differences, tolerant and good attitude. In conjuction withteaching history, multicultural education curriculum can be integrated with localhistory. Multicultural education curriculum in local history study provides anopportunity for local history cultural diversity and understanding of the past be areflection of the settlement terms of preventif basic and multicultural issue at thistime.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan jurnal elektronik yang terdapat pada program studi PPKn, program studi Pendidikan Sejarah dan program studi Pendidikan Ekonomi di Universtas Sriwijaya menggunakan technology acceptance model (TAM). Sampel penelitian yaitu mahasiswa semester 3, 5, dan 7 pada jurusan Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (PIPS). Metodologi penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpul data, kemudian data di analisis secara deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan tidak ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan instrument perceived easy to use terhadap attitude toward using pada Jurnal Bhineka Tunggal Ika serta Jurnal Criksetra. Selanjutnya hasil uji hipotesis juga menunjukan ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan perceived usefulness terhadap attitude toward using pada Jurnal Bhineka Tunggal Ika serta Jurnal Criksetra. Untuk Jurnal Profit pada program studi Pendidikan Ekonomi tidak memenuhi kriteria untuk dilanjutkan penelitian karena hanya lima mahasiswa yang mengetahui tentang jurnal tersebut. AbstractThis study aims to describe the utilization of electronic journals contained in the civic education study program, historical education study programs and economic education study programs using technology acceptance models (TAM). The sample of the study is the semester 3, 5, and 7 students in the Educational of Social Science department. The research methodology uses quantitative methods with a questionnaire as a data collection tool, then the data is analyzed descriptively and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the hypothesis test show that there is no positive effect and that the instrument is perceived to be easy to use towards the attitude toward using the Journal of Unity in Diversity and the Criksetra Journal. Furthermore, the results of the hypothesis test also showed that there was a positive and significant perceived usefulness effect on the attitude toward using the Journal of Unity in Diversity and the Criksetra Journal. For the Profit Journal in the Economic Education study program does not meet the criteria for continued research because only five students know about the journal.

Abstract

“What’s in a name?”, the phrase popularized by William Shakepeare, is often used by many people. However, this is not approriate when it’s related to historical fact such as what happened with the changing name of A great mosque in Palembang. This study aims at describing the history of the changing name of that mosque. This research used historical method which consists of heuristic, criticsm, interpretation and historiography. The results shows that the mosque, built in 1738 by Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin I (titled Jayo Wikramo) called by Sulton Mosque, was built by adopting various cultures that were reflected in its architecture, and underwent several renovations. Not only physical renovation, but also the changing name. In 2019, the plant to change the name of this mosque attracted protest from community. However, it was finally agreed that the new name of the Great Mosque of Palembang, namely the Mosque of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin I Jayo Wikramo. Based on historical notes, there are three names that have been used on this mosque, namely Masjid Sulton, Masjid Agung and  Masjid Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin I Jayo Wikramo. Abstract

This research provide to understanding  the content of Pendidikan Sejarah Perjuangan Bangsa (PSPB) textbooks in terms of Curriculum 1984, Piaget cognitive development and revision of Bloom's Taxonomy. Qualitative approach to research conducted by collecting data from a wide range of literature, data analysis and presentation of data. The results showed that content of PSPB textbook in accordance with the stated educational goals Curriculum 1984. In the evaluation form used questions referring to Piaget's cognitive development is concrete operational level (7-11 years old) and C1 and C2 levels based on the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy. In addition to its cognitive abilities, PSPB textbooks apply evalusai form in psychomotor domains. Key Words: Pendidikan Sejarah Perjuangan Bangsa, Curriculum 1984

Abstract

Abstrak: Keberagaman kebudayaan yang dimiliki masyarakat daerah dapat dilihat dari rumah adat yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat seperti rumah adat Kajang lako di Jambi. Rumah adat ini memiliki arsitektur unik sebagai kearifan lokal di Provinsi Jambi. Adapun permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai nilai-nilai kearifan lokal rumah adat Kajang lako. Tujuan penelitian untuk menguraikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang terdapat pada rumah adat Kajang lako di Jambi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif naratif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang fakta-fakta yang ada yang diproses dengan ditelaah secara faktual, akurat, dan sistematis. Dalam proses teknik pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan teknik studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa selain termasuk sebagai kekayaan lokal dan bagian dari cerminan multikultural, kajang lako memiliki nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang tepat untuk diterapkan yaitu nilai historis, religius, kekeluargaan, gotong royong dan kerjasamaKata kunci: Rumah Adat, Kajang lako, Kearifan Lokal Abstract:  The cultural diversity possessed by local communities can be seen from the traditional houses owned by the community such as the Kajang Lako traditional house in Jambi. This traditional house has a unique architecture as local wisdom in Jambi Province. The problems studied in this study are the values of local wisdom of the Kajang Lako traditional house. The research objective was to describe the values of local wisdom found in the Kajang Lako traditional house in Jambi. The research method used in this research is descriptive narrative research method which aims to find out about the existing facts which are processed by being reviewed factually, accurately, and systematically. In the process of data collection techniques, researchers used literature study techniques. The results show that apart from being included as a local wealth and part of a multicultural reflection, kajang lako has the appropriate local wisdom values to be applied, namely historical, religious, kinship, mutual cooperation and cooperation..Keywords : Custom House, Kajang lako, Local Wisdom

Abstract

Integrating learning local history into history teaching is a renewal of teaching history because it can bring history subject  near to student environment. One of the local history that can be used as teaching material in local history is Kampung Arab in Palembang. In its implementation, local history materials submitted with learning models such as Project I Want To Know. This learning model puts students as researchers. Furthermore, the results of the writing of history or historiography of research learning model and the model project I Want To Know can be published to social networks such as facebook, blogs, instagram, path or you tube. Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan oleh Tim Pengabdian Prodi Pendidikan Sejarah FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya tahun 2020 dengan menggunakan aplikasi zoom meeting. Adapun urgensi yang melatarbelakangi dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini adalah kurang optimalnya pembelajaran sejarah lokal di SMA yang ada di Musi Rawas dan sekitarnya. Sejarah perjuangan rakyat Musi Rawas pada masa Revolusi Fisik tahun 1947-1949 merupakan salah satu dari sekian banyak sejarah lokal yang terdapat di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan, tepatnya di Kabupaten Musi Rawas. Selama ini para guru hanya berfokus pada materi sejarah nasional yang terdapat di dalam buku teks pemerintah. Padahal, materi yang ada di dalam buku-buku teks pemerintah jauh dari realitas dan keadaan yang ada di sekitar peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode ceramah yang divariasikan dengan diskusi dan tanya-jawab, serta penugasan dan demonstrasi yang dilakukan oleh peserta. Kegiatan ini dapat dikatakan berhasil dilaksanakan dengan indikator terjadinya peningkatan pemahaman para guru mengenai sejarah perjuangan rakyat Musi Rawas pada masa Revolusi Fisik tahun 1947-1949 dengan skor rata-rata pre-test sebesar 44,67 dan skor rata-rata post-test sebesar 94. Angka tersebut menunjukkan selisih sebesar 49,33 yang berarti terdapat peningkatan pemahaman terhadap sejarah lokal perjuangan rakyat Musi Rawas pada masa Revolusi Fisik 1947-1949 setelah dilakukannya kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat dalam bentuk pendampingan materi sejarah lokal.

Abstract

Abstrak: Sidney Hook mengklasifikasikan the hero in history menjadi dua kateogori yaitu eventful man dan event making man. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan tersebut, dapat mengklasifikasikan para tokoh pejuang (1945-1950) di Palembang yang ditelusuri berdasarkan toponimi nama jalan di Kota Palembang. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengklasifikasian The hero in history-Sidney Hook terhadap para tokoh perjuang (1945-1950) di Palembang berdasarkan toponimi nama jalan di Palembang?. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan peran dan nilai-nilai perjuangan para tokoh pejuang (1945-1950) yang ditelusuri berdasarkan toponimi nama jalan di Kota Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode historis dalam pemecahan permasalahan dengan tahapan heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi dan historiografi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa hampi sebagian besar nama jalan di Palembang menggunakan nama para tokoh pejuang (1945-1950) di Palembang. Berdasarkan klasifikasi The hero on history-Sidney Hook, A.K. Gani (Jl. A.K. Gani) merupakan eventful man dan event making man. Adapun Abdul Rozak (Jl. Residen Abdul Rozak) dan M. Isa (Jl. dr. M. Isa) merupakan event making man. Selain ketiga tokoh pejuang tersebut, terdapat banyak tokoh pejuang (1945-1950) lainnya di Palembang.Kata Kunci: Sidney, Hook, Pejuang, Toponimi, PalembangEventful Man or Event Making Man? The Local Hero (1945-1950) Based on The Toponymy of Street Names in Palembang CityAbstract: Sidney Hook classifies the hero in history into two categories, namely eventful man and event making man.  Using this approach, it can classify the fighter figures (1945-1950) in Palembang which are traced based on the toponymy of street names in Palembang City. The problem in this study is how to classify ‘the hero in history-Sidney Hook’ against the fighting figures (1945-1950) in Palembang based on the toponymy of street names in Palembang?.  This study aims to describe the role and values of the struggle of the fighter figures (1945-1950) which are traced based on the toponymy of street names in Palembang City. This research uses historical methods in solving problems with heuristic stages, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that most street names in Palembang use the names of fighter figures (1945-1950) in Palembang. Based on the classification of ‘the hero on history-Sidney Hook’, A.K. Gani (A.K. Gani Street) is an eventful man and an event making man. Abdul Rozak (Residen Abdul Rozak Street) and M. Isa (M. Isa Street) are making man events. In addition to these three fighter figures, there are many other fighter figures (1945-1950) in Palembang.Keyword: Sidney, Hook, Fighter, Toponym, Palembang.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah is an Islamic movement with the Da’wah Amar Makruf Nahi Munkar, Islamic aqidah and based on the Qur’an and Sunnah. Muhammadiya was founded by K.H. A. Dahlan on Dzulhijjah November 18th 1912 AD in Yogyakarta. Muhammadiyah developed extensively. In just a few years, many branches Muhammadiyah established in Srandakan, Wonosari, Imogiri, and several other areas. Its development of Muhammadiyah got resistance from the Dutch East Indies. The establishment of Muhammadiyah education is based on theological motivation that a perfect degree of faith and devotion will be able to be achieved by the people if they have the knowledge depth. A sense of nationalism will develop if each individual citizen obeys the laws, then puts forward the obligations before claiming their rights. This can then be achieved if every citizen has a high discipline and love the motherland.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berdasarkan permasalahan yaitu bagaimana mengembangkan buku teks sejarah lokal di kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri di Kota Palembang. Adapun populasi penelitian ini yaitu guru mata pelajaran sejarah kelas XI Social Studies Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri di Kota Palembang. Sedangkan sampel penelitian yaitu guru mata pelajaran sejarah yang tersebar di Sekolah Menegah Atas Negeri di 14 Kecamatan di Kota Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan model ADDIE. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku teks sejarah lokal Kota Palembang dikembangkan berdasarkan konsep berpikir kronologis pada materi Pemerintahan Kolonial Belanda dan Pendudukan Jepang di Palembang. Diperoleh data bahwa menurut para ahli buku teks sangat layak (88,5%). Begitu pula hasil hasil evaluasi dari para guru mata pelajaran sejarah kelas XI IPS Sekolah Menengah Atas di Kota Palembang, bahwa buku teks tersebut sangat layak untuk diterapkan (85,53%). Dari data-data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku teks yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi komponen sebagai buku teks yang valid (berdasarkan pendapat para ahli) dan efektif digunakan oleh para guru mata pelajaran sejarah kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri di Kota Palembang. Hasil penelitian ini direkomendasikan untuk para guru sejarah sebagai pegangan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran sejarah.This research is based on the problem of how to develop local history textbooks for class XI Social Sciences at SMA Negeri in Palembang City. The population of this study was history teachers for class XI Social Studies at State Senior High Schools in Palembang City. Meanwhile, the research sample was history teachers from state senior high schools in 14 sub-districts in Palembang City. The research method used is the ADDIE research and development model. The results showed that local history textbooks for Palembang City were developed based on the concept of chronological thinking on the material of the Dutch Colonial Government and the Japanese Occupation in Palembang. According to experts, the data is that textbooks are very feasible (88.5%). Likewise, the evaluation results from the history subject teachers of class XI Social Sciences at Senior High Schools in Palembang City showed that the textbook was feasible to apply (85.53%). From these data, it can be concluded that the developed reader has fulfilled the components of a good book (based on experts' opinions) and is effectively used by history teachers for class XI Social Sciences at SMA Negeri in Palembang City.  The results of this study are recommended for history teachers as a guide in history learning activities.
