Abstract

this study discusses free sex attitude of young adolescent and personality structure of Sigmund Freud. The first part of this paper examines young adolescents’ problem and the second part is about personality structure of Sigmund Freud. Free sex attitude of young adolescents is, nowadays, unresolved social issue which should not considered as simple issue due to its serious impact that may appear. This is an action which breaks certain norms and harm nation young generation. Young adolescent is a growth and development period of human life, in a process of growth from birth to transition period, from childhood to adulthood. In teen phase, improvement of sexual drive is the cause of free sex. Free sex is an attitude which is based on sexual drive to obtain sexual pleasant with opposite sex and it is out of legal marriage status. Personality structure of Sigmund Freud comprises three systems namely: id, ego and superego. These three aspects are psychological structure. Human personality acts or functions intact instead of separated segments. Id is a biological component, while ego is psychological component and superego is social component. Reviews of both personality structure of Sigmund Freud and free sex attitude of young adolescent are: (1) id: sexual drive improves and biological sexual maturity is imbalance with psychological maturity, (2) ego: Kissing, Necking, Petting and Intercourse, (3) superego: bad morality of the young adolescents in responding sexual drive.

Abstract

This study aims to understand teachers' perceptions of the implementation of a joyful transition from Early Childhood Education to elementary school, as well as to identify the obstacles in carrying out this transition. The research method employed descriptive quantitative. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires distributed to 20 respondents and interviews with 5 participants. The results showed the perception of kindergarten teachers in schools such as TK Pembina Kec. Kota Utara Kindergarten, TK Alkhairat Kindergarten, TK Al-Huda Kindergarten, TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal VII Kindergarten, and TK Aster Kindergarten were categorized as "good" with 78%. Meanwhile, the perception of elementary school teachers in schools such as SD 59 Kota Timur Elementary School, SDN 94 Kota Utara Elementary School, SDN 97 Kota Utara Elementary School, SDN 75 Kota Tengah Elementary School, and SDN 88 Sipatana Elementary School was in the "very good" category with 83%. The results indicated that the participants provided positive responses regarding their perceptions of implementing the joyful transition from PAUD to elementary school.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an augmented reality-based career understanding of media for elementary school students. The research and development procedure consists of 7 steps out of 10 main steps, namely: (1) potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) product/design revision, (6) products trial, (7) product revisions. Data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of (1) an expert validation questionnaire (guidance and counseling media expert, career guidance and counseling expert, Indonesian language expert), and (2) a small group trial questionnaire (elementary school teachers). Data analysis uses qualitative analysis to analyze data from expert validation and small group trials distributed through the instrument. The research results show that the research product in the form of augmented reality-based career understanding media containing content from 17 professional fields is suitable for use to improve elementary school students' career understanding, considering that this product has been validated through expert validation and small group trials. The implications of the results of this study emphasize the importance of career understanding in elementary schools, to shape children's future aspirations based on augmented reality (AR) as an interactive media for career guidance services in schools, thereby increasing students' interest in various job professions that change career guidance service methods to be more modern as well as developing students' technological competencies in facing the digital era as part of Generation Z and Alpha. Practically, guidance and counseling teachers can improve students' understanding of various professions through AR technology that facilitates understanding of the duties and responsibilities of job professions, schools can also integrate this application into a technology-based curriculum, encourage project-based learning, and inspire students' creativity and innovation in exploring and designing future careers.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a career guidance module based on career adaptability to assist high school students in recognizing their potential, understanding career options, and overcoming decision-making ambivalence. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the Sugiyono development model consisting of seven steps out of the ten main stages: (1) potential and problems identification, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) product revision, (6) product trials, and (7) product revision. Data were collected using questionnaires, including: (1) expert validation questionnaires (experts in guidance and counseling, Indonesian language, and media design) and (2) small group trial questionnaires (teachers and students). Small group trials were conducted at State Senior High School 2, Gorontalo City. Quantitative analysis was used to assess the module’s validity, and open-ended feedback provided insights into the strengths and weaknesses of the module during small group trials. Results indicate that the module has a high level of validity and effectively supports more systematic and relevant career guidance services. The module offers a practical solution to enhancing students’ self-efficacy in navigating career dynamics, planning their future, and supporting the implementation of the "Merdeka Belajar" initiative in schools. Theoretically, the research implies that this module strengthens career adaptability by integrating parent and teacher support, emphasizing social and psychological influences on career decisions. Practically, this module provides a structured and flexible framework for school-based counseling, which can be tailored to the various needs of students. Effective implementation requires teacher training, parent involvement, and technology integration for broader accessibility and long-term impact evaluation.

Abstract

This study aims to design, develop, implement, and evaluate a collaborative Home–School Partnership model to enhance children's foundational competencies during the transition from early childhood education to primary school in Gorontalo Province, Indonesia. Employing a research and development approach within the ADDIE framework (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), data were collected from parents of Grade I and II students across several elementary schools using questionnaires, observations, interviews, and focus group discussions. Model effectiveness was assessed through a pretest–posttest experimental design measuring changes in parental understanding and engagement. Results demonstrate high expert validity (91.72%) and strong practicality (93.14%) during small-group and large-group trials. Effectiveness evaluation revealed significant improvements in parental understanding, with posttest scores ranging from 79.70 to 84.20. Parents reported increased awareness of children's socio-emotional development, communication skills, independence, and positive learning attitudes beyond academic preparation. The study concludes that the Home–School Partnership model effectively strengthens parent–teacher collaboration and supports holistic child development during the transition to primary education. The novelty lies in its systematic development and validation of a structured partnership model specifically contextualized to the Indonesian educational landscape, addressing the critical yet underexplored transition period between early childhood and primary schooling. Practically, the model offers a replicable framework that can be integrated into school programs to foster sustainable home–school partnerships. This study contributes to educational literature by providing empirical evidence that structured family-school collaboration significantly enhances parental engagement and foundational competency development during a pivotal stage in children's educational trajectories.

Abstract

This study develops a career pocketbook as a career information media to accelerate career understanding among primary school students. This research and development study was completed in a number of stages, including (1) preliminary study, (2) product design, (3) product development following the design, (4) limited tryout, and (5) product revision. For the limited tryout, we conducted a number of tryouts. In the first limited tryout, we involved the experts (from the guidance and counseling field, career guidance and counseling field, and Indonesian language), followed by an individual tryout involving nine students and three counselors, then a small group tryout with 15 students. The primary data were collected using a questionnaire. Further, the data from the experts were analyzed using content analysis, and the experimental data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results of the analysis of the tryout data suggested that the developed career pocketbook is feasible to be used as a guidance and counseling media, primarily to enhance elementary school students’ career comprehension. Further, this career pocketbook can be suggested as the media for students’ career guidance and counseling.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas layanan bimbingan klasikal menggunakan True or False game dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik tentang pelecehan seksual. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen dengan model pre-post eksperimental dan desain one group pre-test dan post-test. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Gorontalo sebanyak 23 orang yang dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket tentang pelecehan seksual yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman siswa mengenai pelecehan seksual setelah diberikan layanan bimbingan klasikal. Rata-rata skor pre-test adalah 48,17 dan meningkat menjadi 58,52 pada post-test. Analisis data menggunakan uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai probabilitas Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,00, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor pre-test dan post-test. Dengan demikian, penggunaan True or False game dalam layanan bimbingan klasikal terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang pelecehan seksual. Temuan ini mendukung penggunaan media permainan sebagai metode yang kreatif dan interaktif dalam pendidikan bimbingan dan konseling

Abstract

Pernikahan dini merupakan isu sosial yang berdampak pada kesejahteraan remaja dan ketahanan keluarga. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efektivitas bimbingan persiapan pernikahan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman remaja mengenai risiko pernikahan dini dan kesiapan berumah tangga. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dilakukan melalui empat tahap: persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan tindak lanjut, dengan partisipasi 35 remaja di Desa Piloliyanga, Kecamatan Tilamuta, Kabupaten Boalemo. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman yang signifikan berdasarkan analisis skor pre-test dan post-test. Bimbingan ini berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kesadaran remaja terhadap dampak pernikahan dini, meskipun tantangan sosial dan budaya tetap ada. Diperlukan intervensi komunitas yang lebih holistik untuk meningkatkan efektivitas program. Pengabdiak kepada masyarakat ini merekomendasikan integrasi bimbingan persiapan pernikahan dalam sistem pendidikan formal dan nonformal sebagai strategi preventif dalam menekan angka pernikahan dini serta membangun keluarga yang stabil dan berketahanan.

Abstract

This study aimed to design and validate a parent mentoring model to strengthen children's foundation ability readiness during the transition from early childhood education (PAUD) to primary school in Gorontalo Province, Indonesia. Employing a Research and Development (R&D) approach guided by the ADDIE framework, the study progressed through analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases. Mixed-methods data were collected from parents, teachers, and children through expert validation, surveys, interviews, and a one-group pretest-posttest design. Quantitative findings revealed significant improvements in children's socio-emotional regulation (d = 0.85), independence (d = 0.78), and early literacy (d = 0.65) post-intervention. Qualitative results indicated enhanced parental understanding of holistic readiness, improved family-teacher communication, and reduced transition-related stress. Expert validation confirmed high content validity (CVI > 0.80), construct validity, and ecological validity, with implementation fidelity exceeding 85%. The research introduces a co-designed, culturally responsive mentoring model uniquely integrating parental reflection logs, localized stories, and practical activities specifically tailored to the Indonesian PAUD-primary transition context. The validated model offers a scalable, adaptable framework for policymakers and educators to systematically engage parents in supporting children's holistic development during educational transitions. Grounded in socio-cultural and developmental theories emphasizing guided participation, this study demonstrates that structured parental mentoring effectively bridges home-school environments, strengthening early educational continuity.
