Abstract

The need to provide information to youth about the impact of marriage at an early age, and to facilitate youth readiness in preparing for marriage, counseling intervention is needed. The research objectives are (a) to describe the profile of marriage readiness in youth, and (b) to provide services in the form of marriage preparation to test the effectiveness of premarital counseling interventions. The research design used in this study is the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research stage is adapting the counseling intervention stage using the classical guidance service strategy. The population is all youth who are in the vulnerable early adulthood age in Botuboluo Village, Biluhu District, Gorontalo Regency, and the sample is 25 early adults/unmarried youth. Research findings: (a) the profile of youth marriage readiness before premarital counseling intervention is in the traditional category, and after premarital counseling, intervention is in the harmonious category; and (b) the effectiveness of premarital counseling to improve marriage readiness, there is a difference in scores between the results of the pre-test and post-test results of marriage readiness for youth in Botuboluo Village, Biluhu District, Gorontalo Regency who are given the action. The specific description of the article is discussed further in this article.

Abstract

Persiapan pernikahan dan hidup berkeluarga perlu dipahami dan dilakukan oleh mahasiswa sebagai bentuk penyelesaian dan pencapaian tugas perkembangan, keinginan hidup bahagia dan mencegah serta meminimalisir persoalan ketidaksiapan menikah perlu dipersiapkan melalui penyelidikan kepribadian individu, karakteristik pasangan, dan kematangan emosional sehingga terjadi terhadap penyesuaian diri dan pasangan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan efikasi (kemanjuran) program konseling pranikah di perguruan tinggi dalam rangka mempersiapkan pernikahan dan hidup berkeluarga bagi mahasiswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi efikasi untuk melihat apakah program konseling pranikah dapat bekerja dalam keadaan ideal, populasi yaitu mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Gorontalo berjumlah 438 mahasiswa dengan non probability sampling dengan bentuk purposive sampling, sampel kelompok eksperimen berjumlah 17 orang mahasiswa dan kelompok kontrol berjumlah 24 orang mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program konseling pranikah tidak memiliki efikasi (kemanjuran), meskipun adanya perbedaan peningkatan kesiapan menikah dan hidup berkeluarga antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Rasionalitas program konseling pranikah tidak memiliki efikasi ialah pemahaman mahasiswa belum mendalam terkait kesiapan menikah sebelum intervensi dilakukan, dan belum memiliki perbandingan dengan kerangka teoritis maupun hasil riset terhadap indikator bahasan kesiapan menikah. Kata Kunci: Konseling pranikah, Efikasi program, Kesiapan menikah. Preparation for marriage and family life needs to be understood and carried out by students as a form of completion and achievement of developmental tasks. The desire to live happily and prevent and minimize the problem of unpreparedness for marriage needs to be prepared through an investigation of individual personality, partner characteristics, and emotional maturity so that it occurs in self-adjustment and couples. This article aims to describe the efficacy of premarital guidance programs in universities to prepare for marriage and family life for students. The research method uses an efficacy study to see whether the premarital guidance program can work in ideal conditions, the population is 438 students of the Faculty of Education, the State University of Gorontalo totaling 438 students with non-probability sampling in the form of purposive sampling, the experimental group sample totaling 17 students and the control group totaling 24 student people. The results showed that the premarital counseling program had no efficacy, although there were differences in the increase in readiness for marriage and family life between the experimental class and the control class. The reason the premarital counseling program is not effective is that students' understanding of marriage readiness was not deep before the intervention was carried out, and there was no comparison with the theoretical framework or research results on indicators to discuss marriage readiness. Abstract

Arikel ini bertujuan mendiskripsikan profil kesiapan membangun kehidupan berkeluarga mahasiswa. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif metode deskriptif dengan teknik analisis menggunakan data statistik deskriptif. Populasi penelitian yaitu mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan tingkat akhir yang mengisi skala kesiapan membangun kehidupan berkeluarga berjumlah 291, sampel yang digunakan merupakan keseluruhan populasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan berbasis web menggunakan bantuan google formulir (google forms). Instrumen menggunakan skala kesiapan membangun kehidupan berkeluarga berjumlah 61 item dengan taraf signifikansi 5%, dengan ketentuan koefisien korelasi (rxy) peritem ≤0,25 yang menandakan setiap item memiliki hubungan positif yang sempurna dan koefisien korelasi berada pada kategori (0,20<rxy≤40) atau kurang (validitas rendah), namun tetap digunakan karena didasarkan pada tujuan dan aspek keprilakuan pengukuran skala yang tetap harus diukur. Koefisien reliabilitas 0,895, berada pada kategori (0,80<r11≤1,00) atau reliabilitas tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kesiapan membangun kehidupan berkeluarga mahasiswa berada pada kategori harmonious yang terdiri dari aspek pengetahuan, sikap, keterampilan, dan nilai kebajikan. Secara keseluruhan pembahasan diuraikan pada artikel ini.

Abstract

Beberapa Guru yang masih kurang memperhatikan minat belajar siswa, ada juga guru yang hanya memberikan bahan ajar (materi) kepada para siswa untuk mencatat materi belajar, bahkan ada juga guru saat mengajar hanya menggunakan metode ceramah, serta kurang menggunakan media belajar dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal seperti ini akan membuat siswa bosan didalam kelas dan tidak memiliki semangat untuk belajar, karna disebabkan oleh kurangnya inovasi dan kreatifias Guru saat mengajar. menggunakan metode penelitian Kualitatif. Pada pembelajaran dikelas, guru lebih banyak menggunakan metode ceramah sehingga terkadang siswa-siswi bosan dengan keadaan seperti itu. Metode ceramah yang diterapkan oleh guru terkadang tidak mampu diserap dengan baik oleh siswa, oleh sebab itu penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis proyektor digunakan sebagai alat untuk mempermudah dalam proses pembelajaran dan ternyata hampir semua siswa sangat menyukai pembelajaran menggunakan proyektor tersebut karena lebih mudah untuk memahami materi dengan melihat tampilan gambar ataupun video pembelajaran yang ditampilkan.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an augmented reality-based career understanding of media for elementary school students. The research and development procedure consists of 7 steps out of 10 main steps, namely: (1) potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) product/design revision, (6) products trial, (7) product revisions. Data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of (1) an expert validation questionnaire (guidance and counseling media expert, career guidance and counseling expert, Indonesian language expert), and (2) a small group trial questionnaire (elementary school teachers). Data analysis uses qualitative analysis to analyze data from expert validation and small group trials distributed through the instrument. The research results show that the research product in the form of augmented reality-based career understanding media containing content from 17 professional fields is suitable for use to improve elementary school students' career understanding, considering that this product has been validated through expert validation and small group trials. The implications of the results of this study emphasize the importance of career understanding in elementary schools, to shape children's future aspirations based on augmented reality (AR) as an interactive media for career guidance services in schools, thereby increasing students' interest in various job professions that change career guidance service methods to be more modern as well as developing students' technological competencies in facing the digital era as part of Generation Z and Alpha. Practically, guidance and counseling teachers can improve students' understanding of various professions through AR technology that facilitates understanding of the duties and responsibilities of job professions, schools can also integrate this application into a technology-based curriculum, encourage project-based learning, and inspire students' creativity and innovation in exploring and designing future careers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi fenomena flexing yaitu perilaku menonjolkan diri dalam konteks media sosial, dengan menghubungkannya dengan pandangan kebutuhan dasar dalam teori-teori psikologi William Glasser dan Abraham Maslow. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kepustakaan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni metode dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis isi. Untuk menjaga ketepatan pengkajian dan mencegah kesalahan informasi dalam analisis data maka dilakukan pengecekan antar pustaka dan membaca ulang pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa flexing dapat dilihat sebagai cara individu memenuhi kebutuhan dasar, seperti kekuasaan, pengakuan, penghargaan diri, dan kebutuhan sosial. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang psikologi perilaku flexing dan implikasinya pada kesejahteraan psikologis individu dalam era digital. Diharapkan setiap individu bijak dalam mengabil tindakan.

Abstract

The current phenomenon shows that there are still many students who still need to gain a higher level of self-management. It shows the importance of improving high school students' self-management. This research aims to produce a self-management technique module that is suitable for use as a medium for personal guidance and counseling for high school students. This research uses the Research and development (R&D) method with the following stages: potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, and product revision. The expert test subjects consisted of media guidance and counseling experts, personal guidance and counseling experts, and Indonesian language experts. This research involved a small group consisting of four Guidance and Counseling teachers as experimental subjects. Questionnaires were used for data collection. Data from expert validation and small group testing were analyzed qualitatively. The results of expert validation and product testing concluded that "the self-management techniques module is suitable for use by high school students as a personal guidance and counseling tool." Thus, this self-management module can be recommended for application as a medium for personal guidance and counseling for high school students.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penguasaan keterampilan dasar konseling mahasiswa bimbingan konseling. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penguasaan keterampilan dasar konseling mahasiswa bimbingan dan konseling. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskripsi kuantitatif, populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester VI dengan anggota populasi sejumlah 75 mahasiswa, dimana keseluruhan anggota populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data ini menggunakan angket dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan, faktor internal yang mempengaruhi penguasaan keterampilan dasar konseling memiliki tiga sub indikator yakni jasmaniah, psikologis dan kelelahan dengan nilai rata-rata (57,9%) dinyatakan dalam kategori sedang dan faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi penguasaan keterampilan dasar konseling memiliki tiga sub indikator yakni keluarga, kampus dan masyarakat dengan nilai rata-rata (65,0%) dinyatakan dalam kategori sedang. Maka diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa faktor eksternal adalah faktor yang mempengaruhi penguasaan keterampilan dasar konseling mahasiswa bimbingan dan konseling semester VI angkatan 2018.

Abstract

This study aims to develop SmartCounsel, a web-based application that integrates Total Quality Management (TQM) principles to improve the quality of school counselling programmes. The research methodology used a comprehensive literature review to identify best practices and challenges in the implementation of TQM and educational technology. The study results show that SmartCounsel can overcome obstacles in counselling services with automation features for scheduling, monitoring and real-time feedback. The app supports hybrid counselling (online and face-to-face) and enables active engagement of students, teachers and parents, relevant to post-pandemic needs. The findings emphasise that implementing TQM in a digital platform not only improves service efficiency but also promotes continuous improvement. The study recommends further research to examine the impact of SmartCounsel on student learning outcomes and the effectiveness of counselling programs in various educational contexts.

Abstract

The aim of this research describes a conceptual effort to improve clients' holistic EcoWellness through adventure-based counseling that is integrated with nature and adventure. Integrating Adventure-based Counseling activities with the concept of EcoWellness, namely appreciation, respect, admiration, and connectedness to nature, has been proposed as an effective framework for enriching the concept of counseling theory. The research method uses a literature review to review logically based on a comprehensive understanding of the conceptual framework of Adventure-based Counseling to improve EcoWellness. Research goes through six stages, namely (1) selecting and determining the topic; (2) developing tools for argumentation and conclusions from various concepts; (3) literature search to find sources relevant to the specified topic with the help of Mendeley Reference Manager to catalog and document information; (4) a literature survey was conducted to collect, organize, and analyze data that had been collected and documented in Mendeley Reference Manager; (5) criticizing the literature, producing responses to the research topic, a conceptual framework as a conclusion to form research objectives; and (6) writing a review, the review produces a document. To explore this concept, this research investigates the role of nature in strengthening humans' connection to the environment, as well as the positive impact of adventure in enhancing EcoWellness. The findings of this literature review highlight the importance of integrating nature and adventure in counseling to achieve clients' holistic balance. The theoretical implications of this conceptualization are discussed in the context of improving the quality of counseling services and a deeper understanding of humans' relationship with nature
