Abstract

Dari hari ke hari penggunaan plastik kian meningkat. Meningkatnya penggunaan plastik adalah konsekuensi dari perkembangan teknologi, industri dan populasi. Adanya keberadaan sampah di lingkungan, khususnya sampah rumah tangga perlu disikapi dengan pengelolaan sampah menggunakan metode sederhana, yaitu pemilahan sampah. Pelatihan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Meningkatnya kesadaran ibu-ibu Desa Sentono tentang pengolahan sampah rumah tangga. (2) Meningkatnya pengetahuan tentang pemilahan sampah rumah tangga baik organic maupun anorganik. (3) Meningkatnya pemahaman reuse dan recycle sampah plastik memanfaatkan botol minum plastik menjadi media tanam sayur vertikultur. Sasaran kegiatan PPM adalah Ibu rumah tangga di Desa Sentono sebanyak 30 orang. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara klasikal. Langkah-langkah kegiatan ini adalah penyampaian materi tentang pengertian sampah, macam sampah, dan pemanfaatan sampah anorganik menjadi media tanam vertikultur. Salah satu alternatif penanganan sampah plastik yang saat ini banyak diteliti dan dikembangkan adalah melakukan daur ulang. Dengan adanya pelatihan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini, ibu-ibu Desa Sentono dapat mengkonversi sampah plastik berupa botol plastik bekas menjadi media tanam dalam budidaya tanaman sistem vertikultur yang ramah lingkungan. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan kemajuan signifikan pada siklus pertama yang hanya sekedar membuang botol plastik dan tidak merawat taman dengan baik hingga siklus kedua menunjukkan perubahan masyarakat yang memanfaatkan botol plastik bekas sebagai media tanam sistem vertikultur dan antusias merawat taman yang tinggi.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine and analyze the impact of corporate social responsibility, profitability, capital intensity, company size, and financial distress on tax aggressiveness. The population in the study was manufacturing companies listed on the IDX in 2017-2019. The measurement of tax aggressiveness used the effective tax ratio. Sampling was purposive sampling and obtained 177 samples with three years of observation. The analysis in this study used the classical assumption and hypothesis test of multiple linear regression analysis with F-test, t-test, and the coefficient of determination processed using the SPSS version 25. The results of this study indicate that the variable of capital intensity does not affect tax aggressiveness. In comparison, the variables of corporate social responsibility, profitability, company size, and financial distress affect tax aggressiveness.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the effect of the board director’s characteristics and the board of commissioners toward accounting conservatism. The characteristics analyzed in this research were size, gender, and educational background that affect their behavior in dealing with issues related to accounting principles. This research will be conducted by analyzing all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2019 using SPSS. Data was analyzed as 112 data using multiple regression analysis. The results show that both size of directors and commissioner’s and women of board director and commissioners affect the accounting conservatism. However, the educational background of board directors and commissioners does not affect accounting conservatism.

Abstract

Currently, the global economy is not doing well. For 2022, the IMF's World Economic Outlook projection is only 3.2 percent; next year, world economic growth is also expected to weaken at 2.7 percent. With inflation that tends to be high and economic growth declining, this gives a signal that the world economic situation is quite depressed. This type of research is a descriptive type of research. This research discusses the effect of Financial Performance and Women's Power on the Value of Manufacturing Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019 -2021. Determination of the sample using a purposive sampling method. The data analyzed in this study is secondary data, where the data is in the form of annual financial reports of manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the 2019-2021 period. Based on several tests and analyses of the 193 sample companies obtained from 2019-2021 in this study, it can be concluded that concluded. This shows that financial performance and women's power significantly influence firm value. Trying to expand the sample population by taking data from several other industries to generalize the results to a wider context and considering external factors such as market conditions, competition, and economic policies in drawing conclusions and recommendations at the end of the research report.

Abstract

The development of entrepreneurship programs is very much needed for children with special needs. This is due to increase the independence of students, especially after graduating from school. In support of this, the UMS community service team conducted a community service program at SLB-D YPAC Surakarta. This community service program is to help children with special needs understand and make financial reports for the skills business unit at SLB-D YPAC Surakarta, especially the DIFA motorcycle wash program. The form of this community service program is counseling and training which is divided into two parts. The first part is about learning simple financial statement bookkeeping which is followed by all students of SMA SLB-D YPAC Surakart. The second part is about the practice of making financial reports with the object of which is a skills business unit which is followed by a team that is directly involved in the SLB-D YPAC Surakarta skills unit. The output of this community service program is that the training participants have a better understanding of accounting for financial reports and how to make them and have a reference to financial reports for the skills business unit at SLB-D YPAC Surakarta.

Abstract

In modern society, investment has become an important necessity for the future. However, currently there are still many young people who still lack interest in investing because of the lack of programs that can improve their financial literacy. One of them is the Youth Community in Badung Regency, Bali. In this community, the younger generation/teenagers are still not interested in investing. This is due to the lack of socialization about the ease of investing in the present. This community service aims to increase knowledge and information about investment, increase the motivation youth community members to be more productive during the pandemic, and a means of empowering the younger generation to be able to manage finances and form financial independence through positive and productive activities.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of Environmental, Social, Governance Disclosure on company value and performance in the future. The population in this research are companies that have been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the 2020-2021 period. This research uses a data collection method using a purposive sampling method, then the data is analyzed using a multiple linear regression method. The results of this study show that the Environmental Disclosure has a significant effect on the future firm value and future firm performance as proxied by Tobin's Q and Return on Assets. Meanwhile, the Social and Governance Disclosure variables show do not affect future firm value and future firm performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas terkait pengaruh ukuran dewan direksi, ukuran komisaris independen, kepemilikan institusional, dan kepemilikan manajerial terhadap forward looking information disclosure (FLID) berdasarkan pada laporan keuangan atau annual report yang telah diaudit perusahaan manufaktur yang telah terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2020-2022. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, sehingga didapat 143 sampel yang telah memenuhi kriteria sebagai unit observasi. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian memberikan bukti empiris bahwa ukuran dewan direksi dan kepemilikan manajerial berpengaruh terhadap forward-looking information disclosure. Sedangkan ukuran komisaris independen dan kepemilikan institusional tidak berpengaruh terhadap forward-looking information disclosure.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh female director, leverage, ukuran perusahaan, dan ownership diffusion terhadap forward-looking information disclosure pada perusahaan sektor manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2020-2022. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, sehingga didapat 135 sampel yang telah memenuhi kriteria sebagai unit observasi. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian memberikan bukti empiris bahwa female director dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap forward-looking information disclosure. Sedangkan leverage dan ownership diffusion tidak berpengaruh terhadap forward-looking information disclosure.
