Abstract

Smart home systems aim to maximize surveillance, monitoring, security and so on. The way this system works is that it integrates telecommunications and system controllers from a chip or NodeMCU, so it is called the Internet of Things. In this study, create or design a smart home that aims to make it easier to control existing equipment at home remotely and when traveling out of town with the Internet Of Things system. Besides, it's not just controlling remotely but by monitoring it by using an Android smartphone. The devices used in the Smart Home system design are divided into several parts, namely input, process and output. Part of the input consists of a room temperature sensor, part of the process consists of a Microcontroller or uses a NodeMCU, and part of the output is an LED as an indicator and sound or using a Buzzer module. The results of the tests carried out by the system designed that the smart home runs well overall starting from the android application and receiving data from the microcontroller and sending notifications to the sensor readings

Abstract

Delivery of goods is very often done every day. Customers who want to send goods to other places must deliver the goods to the place of delivery. Ninja Xpress is one of the shipping agents in Indonesia. The author designs and builds a system that can place orders for delivery of goods through the Android application. This order can be made at home so that customers do not need to come to the place of delivery of goods. Applications can make delivery orders to the delivery party. The goods will be picked up at the customer's house and the specifications related to the goods will be recorded. Abstract

Nowadays the use of smartphones is mandatory for every society. not only adults, even children already have smartphones. especially at the current time of the COVID-19 pandemic which requires activities to be carried out at home so that people are forced to use long-distance network technology. One of them is the use of smartphones. Smartphones of various types and capabilities will be adjusted to the price. The problem that the author raises is how to find a good smartphone at a good price with a lower economic community market so that people can carry out work activities even though social activities are distant due to the covid 19 pandemic. The author searches for smartphones with prices around one million. The method used is TOPSIS. Topsis stands for TECHNIQUE FOR OTHERS PREFERENCE BY SIMILARITY TO IDEAL SOLUTION. The method is suitable in this case. The results obtained are the best smartphones at a price of around one million.

Abstract

The proliferation of refill drinking water businesses among the community has raised doubts about the quality of drinking water from each refilling of drinking water. Especially in the Medan Helvetia area, starting from Pasar 1 to Pasar 7, there are about 23 refill drinking water businesses. This makes the author want to do research on the refill drinking water. Which refill water business has drinking water quality that is good for body health. The author uses the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in calculating research data because this method has been widely used in various studies. Abstract

The warehouse is a place for receiving, temporarily storing and stocking parts, materials, and goods to be used for production needs or production support. To control the material stock balance, it is necessary to monitor the material balance data in accordance with the actual material balance, so that there is no discrepancy between data deviation and actual balance, which can lead to interruption of the production process due to unavailability of material or errors in material stock planning. Material procurement in Pangkalan Susu steam power plant is usually divided into 2 areas, namely material inventory, which is usually recorded in the application maximo. The operating budget or code GL is normally used for this material. Meanwhile, the material expense is the material that is procured to anticipate the overhaul needs, which is used at the same time and cannot be stored in the warehouse. The capital budget is usually used for these materials. Until now, stock monitoring can only monitor the material stock through TUKG7, while the material cost cannot be monitored, so there is a deviation between the actual stock and the TUKG7 stock, resulting in an interruption of the production process due to unavailable materials and errors in material procurement. For this reason, a stock monitoring application (GOLEK) has been developed that allows real-time monitoring whenever and wherever it is.

Abstract

In improving the performance of employees at the company PT. The Anugrah Swastika package is by giving rewards to employees so that their morale continues to increase and they are given awards for being the best employees. One way to implement or implement it is to create a decision support system in giving awards to the best employees by making several criteria that will be considered. In this study, the method that will be applied is AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) by giving weighting to each criterion that will be assessed by each person. The criteria that will be assessed are quality of work, quantity of work, speed of work, mastery of fields, discipline, initiative and loyalty.

Abstract

A flood is a disaster that is difficult to predict by the community when it will occur, therefore there are many casualties caused by the flood disaster. Information that is difficult to obtain by the community is an obstacle to dealing with current floods. One of them is the lack of monitoring to detect the height of the water surface, making it difficult for people to evacuate themselves. The flood detection sensor monitoring system is a technology that can monitor the height of the water surface waves where the data obtained by the sensor will be sent on a telegram.  Keywords: Flood, Monitoring, Telegram.

Abstract

Technological progress is something that is currently a phenomenon where one of the efforts to increase work productivity is to provide protection to workers while they are working, namely by involving workers in the Labor Social Security program and implementing a safe K3 management system for workers. This is an obligation that must be carried out by the company. The Occupational Health and Safety Management System or commonly called SMK3 is part of the overall management system which includes the organizational structure of planning, responsibilities, implementation, process procedures and resources needed for achievement development, assessment and maintenance of occupational safety and health policies in the context of controlling risks related to work activities in order to create a safe workplace. With the existence of occupational safety and health (K3) learning software, information on occupational safety and health within the scope of the company can be well known. Abstract

At this time there are still many companies or government offices that still use manual attendance, especially in the office of the head of the village of kelambir 5, sub-district of expanse of silver, deli, serdang district. The office is utilized by technology that is currently widely used by the public, namely by using gang devices such as smartphones. So with manual systems such as signatures on paper, it is caused by frequent manipulation of attendance data. The manual attendance system can also cause the village head office administration to manually collect attendance data in large quantities, and the process becomes ineffective and inefficient. Therefore, it is necessary to have a system designed, namely an employee attendance application system using an Android-based QR Code Reader. So with the system that will be made, employee attendance data is automatically stored into the website database and it is easy to recapitulate attendance. In this study the tool used is in the form of a miniature as an implementation of automatic railroad doors to facilitate work in operating railroad doors which currently still require a lot of staff so that errors often occur due to negligence in operating which causes accidents on railroad crossings. fire. In this study, it will be designed using a motion sensor to detect the movement of a train if it is running and an ultrasonic sensor to measure the distance of a train whether it is approaching the railroad crossing.
