Abstract

Smartphones with the Android operating system are increasingly available in the market at increasingly affordable prices. The Android operating system itself is an open source operating system that can be modified according to needs. In this research, the aim is to design and implement a home lighting control system that activates and deactivates via a smartphone using Bluetooth and makes Android a multifunctional cellular device, in addition to a communication device but also as a device that is communicated to control a hardware device. Based on the results of tests conducted, the system can work properly in accordance with the goals of the lamp control application program that is made to run on the Android operating system, and can activate and deactivate the lamp driver device. Data communication between the lamp driver device and the Android smartphone runs well, the range of the control application system can control the lamp driver device depending on the specifications of the Bluetooth device used both from the receiver and sender side Keywords : Smartphone, Android, Full Control System, Bluetooth

Abstract

Traffic light or what we call traffic lights is a device that functions to regulate the flow of vehicles on the road. However, as we know, there are still many vehicle users who violate the traffic light signs, especially in areas that lack supervision from the authorities so that many cause accidents or traffic jams. The number of accidents from year to year continues to grow. Congestion occurs everywhere, especially in big cities. One reason is the lack of tolerance between drivers and motorists. They overtook each other not to budge with one another and also not infrequently violated the traffic lights. The author here tries to create a system of monitoring the level of traffic light violations on the highway based on the ATmega16 microcontroller and also displays data on the number of traffic light violations with a graphical display on the computer. Not all objects can be detected accurately and directly, depending on the level of a vehicle. To be able to implement a traffic light monitoring system accurately, we need a communication system and display that is appropriate, reliable and accurate, so that data on violations that occur can be sent accurately and realtime and can be directly observed. Abstract

For each agency, the quality of human resources is one of the main needs that determines the progress and success of the agency. To determine the quality of its human resources, the agency conducts a performance appraisal process. Problems that occur in the process of evaluating the performance of lecturers at the university are still carried out conventionally, the number of evaluation criteria and the need for a long time to complete the performance evaluation of the lecturer. Based on the above problems, the writer tries to provide a solution by designing a decision support system in evaluating lecturer performance using the profile matching method. In this SPK, lecturer performance evaluation is based on five criteria as a reference in decision making. The final result of this study is the value of evaluating the performance of lecturers in carrying out their duties based on assessment for 2 years.

Abstract

The design of the attendance monitoring system prototype is made using the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) sensor. RFID equipped with a reader and tag. Reader used as a medium for reading attendance information and tags used as ID cards. The tools to be made will be integrated with a database so that the attendance system can be monitored using a desktop application. The database will be designed using Mysql and Xampp. The GUI (Graphic User Interface) which will be used as a media interface is designed using the Visual Basic application so that data that has been integrated with the database can be easily monitored using a desktop application. The system that is integrated with the database allows data to be automatically stored in the database, making it easier for admin to recap their attendance.

Abstract

In maintaining a system security, it is very important to pay attention to that, namely an authentication process. This process is carried out in order to ensure that users who access data or information are users who have the right and authority. In authentication, there are several methods, one of which is using data encryption techniques, namely cryptography. Cryptography is implemented in data and information by coding or hiding the original data so that only certain parts have a key that can access the data or information. This research will apply the One Time Pad (OTP) Algorithm based on android which includes data encryption and decryption which will be designed using Android Studio to carry out encryption of stored data or information. The data will be in the form of ciphertext so that the user gets an access key for the data or information. In making this application, it is hoped that it will be useful in maintaining data security and confidentiality.

Abstract

In this research, the process of applying the K-Nearst Neighbor (KNN) method will be carried out, which is a classification method for a collection of data based on the majority of categories and the goal is to classify new objects based on attributes and sample samples from training data. So that the desired output target is close to the accuracy in conducting learning testing. The results of the test of the K-Nearest Neighbor method. It can be seen that from the K values ??of 1 to 10, the percentage of the results of the analysis of the K-NN method is higher than the results of the analysis of the K-NN method. And from the K value that has been tested, the K 2 value and the K 9 value have the largest percentage so that the accuracy is also more precise. As for the results of testing the K-Nearest Neighbor method in data classification. As for the author's test using a variation of the K value of K-Nearest Neighbor 3,4,5,6,7,8,9. Has a very good percentage of accuracy compared to only K-NN. The test results show the K-Nearest Neighbor method in data classification has a good percentage accuracy when using random data. The percentage of variation in the value of K K-Nearest Neighbor 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 has a percentage of 100%.

Abstract

Flood is a natural disaster that occurs when excessive flow of water will submerge the land. Floods also often occur because most of the garbage is thrown carelessly so that the drains or sewers are clogged especially with the continuous rain for days so that the overflow of water causes flooding and many casualties. To overcome this problem, there needs to be a solution so that there are no more casualties and losses, namely making a water level monitoring system by utilizing the telegram application as a notification medium. The system will be made by utilizing Arduino UNO as a controller and based on IoT (Internet Of Things) so that information can be sent accurately. This study aims to make the local community aware of overflowing water. The designed tool will automatically detect water from safe, alert and dangerous status. If the water level rises to a danger status, nature will issue an alarm sound and automatically send a message to the telegram application that the water level is in danger status. This system will later be implemented for the community in various flood-prone areas
