Abstract

Abstract: The administration of school fee payments at PAUD Mekar Aman Damai was previously conducted manually, leading to frequent recording errors, delays in reporting, and difficulties in tracking student payment histories. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop a web-based school fee payment information system to facilitate a more efficient and structured recording and management process. The system was developed using HTML, PHP, and CSS, with MySQL as the database to store payment records, student data, teacher data, and other relevant information. System testing was conducted using the Black Box method, focusing on evaluating system functionality without analyzing the underlying code. The test results indicate that all core features, including payment recording, student and teacher data management, and system administration, function properly without significant technical issues. The implementation of this information system has made the school fee payment process more structured, accurate, and easily accessible to administrators. However, the system has certain limitations, such as the absence of access for students and parents to view payment history and the lack of an automatic notification feature for payment reminders. Therefore, further development is recommended to incorporate these features to enhance system efficiency and transparency. Keywords: Information System, School Fee Payment, PAUD Mekar Aman Damai, Web, MySQL, Black Box Abstrak: Administrasi pembayaran uang sekolah di PAUD Mekar Aman Damai sebelumnya dilakukan secara manual, sehingga sering terjadi kesalahan pencatatan, keterlambatan laporan, dan kesulitan dalam menelusuri riwayat pembayaran siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi pembayaran uang sekolah berbasis web yang dapat membantu proses pencatatan dan pengelolaan pembayaran secara lebih efisien dan terstruktur. Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman HTML, PHP, dan CSS, serta memanfaatkan MySQL sebagai database untuk menyimpan data pembayaran, data siswa, data guru, dan informasi lainnya. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode Black Box, yang menitikberatkan pada pengujian fungsionalitas sistem tanpa memperhatikan kode program. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fitur utama sistem, termasuk pencatatan pembayaran, pengelolaan data siswa dan guru, serta administrasi sistem, telah berjalan dengan baik tanpa mengalami kendala teknis yang signifikan. Dengan diterapkannya sistem informasi ini, proses pembayaran uang sekolah menjadi lebih terstruktur, akurat, dan mudah diakses oleh admin. Sistem ini masih memiliki beberapa keterbatasan, seperti belum tersedianya akses bagi siswa dan orang tua untuk melihat riwayat pembayaran serta fitur notifikasi otomatis untuk pengingat jatuh tempo pembayaran. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan lebih lanjut disarankan untuk menambahkan fitur tersebut guna meningkatkan efektivitas dan transparansi sistem. Kata kunci: Sistem Informasi, Pembayaran Uang Sekolah, PAUD Mekar Aman Damai, Web, MySQL, Black Box

Abstract

Abstract: The rapid development of information technology has encouraged government institutions to digitize their work systems, including payroll and employee attendance management. The Sirapit Subdistrict Office still utilizes a manual system in processing attendance and payroll, which may lead to recording errors, process delays, and lack of data transparency. This study aims to design and develop a web-based payroll and employee attendance information system by implementing the Feature Driven Development (FDD) method. FDD was chosen because it breaks down system development into measurable and manageable small features, facilitating gradual development, testing, and team collaboration. The FDD stages applied in this study include developing an overall model, building a features list, planning by feature, designing by feature, and building by feature. The result of this research is a web-based system that can manage employee attendance data in poeriodic, generate automated payroll reports, and provide a user-friendly interface for both administrators and employees. The system is also equipped with attendance history and digital payslip features. Testing was conducted using the black box testing method, and the results showed that all system functions operate as expected. The implementation of the FDD method has proven effective in accelerating the development process and enhancing system quality. With the presence of this system, it is expected that the administrative processes at the Sirapit Subdistrict Office will become more efficient, accurate, and transparent. Keyword: Feature Driven Development (FDD), Information System, Payroll, Attendance, Web-Based, Sirapit Subdistrict Office Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat mendorong instansi pemerintahan untuk melakukan digitalisasi sistem kerja, salah satunya dalam pengelolaan penggajian dan absensi pegawai. Kantor Camat Sirapit masih menggunakan sistem manual dalam proses absensi dan penggajian, dimana dapat berpotensi menimbulkan kesalahan pencatatan, keterlambatan proses, serta kurangnya transparansi data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi penggajian dan absensi pegawai berbasis web dengan menerapkan metode Feature Driven Development (FDD). Metode FDD dipilih karena mampu memecah pembangunan sistem menjadi fitur-fitur kecil yang terukur dan mudah dibangun secara bertahap, sehingga mempermudah dalam pengujian. Tahapan FDD yang digunakan meliputi pembangunan model keseluruhan, pembuatan daftar fitur, perencanaan berdasarkan fitur, perancangan berdasarkan fitur, dan pembangunan berdasarkan fitur. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem informasi berbasis web yang mampu mengelola data kehadiran pegawai secara berkala, menghasilkan laporan penggajian secara otomatis, dan menyediakan antarmuka yang mudah digunakan oleh admin maupun pegawai. Sistem juga dilengkapi dengan fitur histori absensi dan slip gaji digital. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan metode black box testing dan mendapatkan hasil bahwa seluruh fungsi sistem berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Penerapan metode FDD terbukti efektif dalam mempercepat proses pembangunan serta meningkatkan kualitas sistem. Abstract

Abstract: The rapid development of information technology has encouraged various institutions, including the hospitality sector, to adopt digital systems to support their operations. Hotel Sultan Medan, as one of the prominent hotels in the city of Medan, faces challenges in managing employee attendance and payroll, which are still handled manually. This manual process results in slow administrative work, inaccuracy, and susceptibility to data input errors. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop a web-based information system that integrates attendance and payroll management effectively and efficiently. The study employs the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which emphasizes fast development while involving users actively in every stage of system design. The development process includes the stages of requirements planning, user design, system construction, and cutover or implementation. The system is also equipped with a GPS-based location validation feature to ensure that attendance is conducted within the hotel area, and it includes automated payroll calculations based on attendance data. Testing results indicate that the developed system operates according to user requirements and significantly improves the efficiency of the Human Resources Department. With the implementation of this system, Hotel Sultan Medan is expected to manage employee affairs more accurately, transparently, and digitally integrated. Keywords: Payroll System, Extreme Programming, Web Based, Grandhika Setiabudi Medan Hotel Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat telah mendorong berbagai instansi, termasuk sektor perhotelan, untuk mengadopsi sistem digital dalam menunjang operasionalnya. Hotel Sultan Medan sebagai salah satu hotel ternama di kota Medan menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan absensi dan penggajian karyawan yang selama ini masih dilakukan secara manual. Hal ini menyebabkan proses administrasi menjadi lambat, kurang akurat, dan rentan terhadap kesalahan input data. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem informasi berbasis web yang dapat mengintegrasikan pengelolaan absensi dan penggajian secara efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD), yang menekankan pada kecepatan pengembangan dengan melibatkan pengguna secara aktif dalam setiap fase perancangan sistem. Proses pengembangan dimulai dari tahap perencanaan kebutuhan, desain pengguna, konstruksi sistem, hingga tahap cutover atau implementasi. Sistem ini juga dilengkapi dengan fitur validasi lokasi berbasis GPS untuk memastikan absensi dilakukan di area hotel serta perhitungan penggajian otomatis berdasarkan data kehadiran. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan dapat berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna dan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi kerja bagian HRD. Abstract

Optimizing scheduling in healthcare systems is crucial for improving operational efficiency and patient satisfaction. This study analyzes the performance of the A* algorithm in optimizing doctor appointment scheduling in hospitals. Using a heuristic-based approach, the proposed solution aims to minimize search time and improve the accuracy of determining optimal appointment slots. The algorithm integrates time penalties to align scheduling outcomes with patient preferences, demonstrating significant improvements compared to traditional linear search methods.A comparative evaluation was conducted with traditional search algorithms using experimental data, showing that A* significantly reduces execution steps (the number of search steps directly impacts energy efficiency) while maintaining high accuracy in slot allocation. The A* algorithm excels in this context by providing consistent solutions with reduced search effort. This study addresses gaps in previous research, particularly in handling large Datasetss and meeting real-time scheduling needs.The results of this research are expected to contribute to the development of efficient hospital reservation systems, thereby enhancing patient experiences and streamlining hospital operations. This study serves as a foundation for further exploration of the application of the A* algorithm in healthcare optimization.

Abstract

This study develops an analytical framework to optimize service strategies in primary healthcare, focusing on midwifery clinics that use electronic medical records. It employs the K-Means clustering algorithm to segment patients by visit time, diagnosis, and demographic characteristics, addressing the limitations of intuition-based decision-making for fluctuating patient volumes and resource needs. The clustering results provide an objective basis for designing adaptive interventions in staffing schedules, queue management, and pharmaceutical inventory, with the overall aim of improving patient satisfaction and operational efficiency

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has significantly influenced the development of e-commerce platforms in Indonesia, where Tokopedia stands out as one of the most popular and widely used online marketplaces. As user expectations continue to increase, understanding and measuring user satisfaction has become essential for ensuring service quality and maintaining customer loyalty. This study aims to perform a comparative analysis of the performance of two machine learning classification algorithms—K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) and Naive Bayes—in analyzing and predicting user satisfaction levels toward the Tokopedia application. The dataset used in this study was obtained from a combination of online reviews and structured survey responses from active Tokopedia users. The research methodology includes several stages: data collection, text preprocessing (tokenization, stop-word removal, and stemming), feature extraction using the Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) technique, and model implementation using the two algorithms. Both models were evaluated using key performance metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The experimental results indicate that the K-NN algorithm achieved superior performance compared to Naive Bayes, demonstrating higher accuracy and better consistency in classifying user sentiments into “satisfied” and “dissatisfied” categories. The K-NN model proved to be more effective in handling diverse and nonlinear data patterns derived from user-generated reviews. Meanwhile, Naive Bayes, although computationally efficient, showed limitations in processing complex text dependencies. The findings of this research highlight the importance of selecting appropriate machine learning algorithms for user satisfaction analysis. Furthermore, the study contributes to the broader understanding of sentiment-based evaluation models in e-commerce platforms and provides valuable insights for Tokopedia and similar companies in enhancing customer experience and service improvement strategies.

Abstract

Pengelolaan arsip hukum yang baik merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam mendukung transparansi, akuntabilitas, dan efisiensi administrasi di lingkungan pemerintahan desa. Namun, pengelolaan arsip hukum secara manual sering kali menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti keterbatasan ruang penyimpanan, risiko kehilangan data, dan kesulitan dalam aksesibilitas. Dalam rangka mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pelatihan penerapan sistem informasi berbasis komputer untuk pengelolaan arsip hukum pada Kantor Desa Kelambir V Kebun, Kecamatan Hamparan Perak. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas aparatur desa dalam mengelola arsip hukum secara digital menggunakan sistem informasi berbasis komputer. Metode pelatihan meliputi sesi teori mengenai pentingnya digitalisasi arsip hukum, pengenalan perangkat lunak sistem informasi arsip, serta praktik langsung dalam menginput, menyimpan, dan mengakses data arsip hukum secara efektif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta pelatihan mampu memahami dan mengoperasikan sistem informasi arsip dengan baik. Selain itu, implementasi sistem ini juga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi, meminimalisasi risiko kehilangan data, dan mempermudah pencarian arsip hukum. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam mendorong tata kelola arsip hukum yang modern dan efisien di tingkat desa. Ke depan, pengembangan fitur tambahan dan dukungan berkelanjutan diharapkan dapat dilakukan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan sistem informasi ini.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat dan tenaga kesehatan di Puskesmas Hamparan Perak mengenai perlindungan hukum dalam transaksi digital serta pemanfaatan teknologi finansial (fintech) dalam pembayaran layanan kesehatan. Perkembangan fintech yang pesat telah mendorong perubahan sistem pembayaran konvensional menjadi digital, termasuk dalam sektor pelayanan kesehatan. Namun, rendahnya literasi hukum dan teknologi sering kali menimbulkan risiko, seperti penyalahgunaan data pribadi dan ketidaktahuan terhadap hak-hak konsumen digital. Kegiatan ini meliputi sosialisasi regulasi perlindungan konsumen digital, khususnya yang terkait dengan Undang-Undang Perlindungan Data Pribadi dan regulasi Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) terkait layanan fintech. Selain itu, pelatihan juga diberikan mengenai penggunaan metode pembayaran digital seperti QRIS dan dompet digital yang aman dan sah secara hukum. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai risiko dan perlindungan hukum dalam transaksi digital, serta kesiapan awal Puskesmas dalam menerapkan sistem pembayaran berbasis fintech. Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat menjadi langkah awal dalam mendukung transformasi digital layanan kesehatan yang aman, inklusif, dan berbasis hukum.

Abstract

Indonesia is highly vulnerable to natural disasters due to its geological position, resulting in extensive disaster-related news coverage that shapes public sentiment. This study presents a comparative machine learning analysis for sentiment classification of online news related to natural disasters in Sumatra during December 2025. The dataset was collected through web scraping from two major Indonesian news portals, like CNN Indonesia and Detik, and categorized into three sentiment classes: negative, neutral, and positive. Sentiment classification was conducted using Naive Bayes, Support Vector Machine (SVM), and k-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) algorithms. The results demonstrate that Naive Bayes achieved accuracy values of 0.57 on the CNN Indonesia dataset and 0.61 on the Detik dataset. However, its performance was highly biased toward the dominant negative class, as indicated by low macro-average F1-scores of (0.24) and (0.39). In contrast, SVM showed the most balanced performance by reducing class bias, achieving accuracies of (0.68) and (0.67) with macro-average F1-scores of (0.51) and (0.59), respectively. KNN demonstrated moderate performance, with accuracy values of 0.60 and 0.59, but remained less effective than SVM in handling minority sentiment classes.

Abstract

Monkey Pox is a disease caused by a virus with the genus orthopoxvirus that can infect humans. The initial symptoms of this disease are the appearance of lumps due to swollen lymph nodes, muscle pain, fever, feeling tired and weak. Although similar to Chickenpox, Monkey Pox is clinically difficult to distinguish from other smallpox diseases. This study aims to classify Monkey Pox disease using the "Monkey-Pox PATIENTS Dataset". Classification of Monkey Pox disease is done using Random Forest and Naïve Bayes methods. Random Forest produces higher accuracy than Naïve Bayes in classifying Monkey Pox disease, which is 69.24% with a k-fold value of 5 and the number of trees 64 using an unbalanced dataset with 6 attributes. While Naïve Bayes produces an accuracy of 68.56% using a dataset without balancing with 8 attributes (k-fold=5, kernel=Gaussian) and 9 attributes (k-fold=3 and 10, kernel=Gaussian).
