Menjangan Island is a small island located 5 miles northwest of the island of Bali and is part of the West Bali National Park area. Activities that can be carried out by tourists visiting Menjangan Island, namely diving, snorkeling, jungle tracking, walking around Menjangan Island. The condition and condition of good coral reefs on Menjangan Island is certainly inseparable from the role of a person or group in preserving and conserving coral reefs in this island. This study aims to determine how the role of Marine and Tourist Tourism Operators on coral reef preservation on Menjangan Island.This research used a qualitative method with qualitative data analysis techniques. Sources of data from this study come from primary data and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that marine tourism operators and tourists are very instrumental in preserving coral reefs on Menjangan Island because it can be seen from the efforts made to maintain the beauty of the underwater world on Menjangan Island. The form of preservation carried out in the form of providing education to tourists related to how to do snorkeling and diving activities so as not to damage the coral reefs. The tourism development has led to changes in land use, social and ecnomic aspects. As the new flagship sector of Kerta Tourism Village which is one of the village’s clans designated as a tourist village in accordaance with Gianyar Regent Decree Number 429/E-02/HK in 2017on Payangan District, Gianyar Regency. So in developing the potential that must be with the planning of tourism facilities match to the Tourism Village Kerta condition. The research study uses descriptive qualitative analysis method with data collection tehniques such as observation, interview, documentation and literature study. The technique of data analysists used are reduction data, presentation data, and conclusion/verification. The determining technique of informant are using tehnique of purposive sampling, this research is limited by using tourism destination life cycle theory, tourism planning concept, facility concept, tourism village, concept, and tourism product component. The result of the research is that Kerta Tourism Village is currently in the phase of involvement, of local communities in the development and planning of tourism facilities in Kerta Tourism Village. It can be seen from the existence of tourism facilities that are still not optimal such as communications, electricity, restaurant, roads, wantilan, parking area, heatlh facilities and bins. Subak Sembung Ecotourismhas width of 155 hectares, administratively a part of Peguyangan village, North Denpasar subdistrict. The existence of this Subak Ecotourism is a green line left in Denpasar city. The purposes of this research are to determine the development of Subak Sembung as ecotourism destination in Peguyangan village, Denpasar, Bali and to determine about the role of youth generation ofSubak Sembung Ecotourism development in Peguyangan village, Denpasar, Bali. The data used inthis research is qualitative data with the data sources in the formof primary data and secondary data. Those data collected using method of observation, in-depth interview, and literature study. The determining of informants done by purposive technique. The result of this research show that the youth generation of Banjar Pulugambang actively participate in tourism activities such as involved in events that held by Subak Sembung Ecotourism manager. Their roles are as the guest greeters, classified in a cimittee as food and drinks keepers, handicraft accessories keepers, and also involved as a local guide, help in decorating, keep the environment clean, and do events such as fishing, guiding inmaking canang, outbound, teaching the tourists to painting and also teaching the tourist to dance. The theory of Tosun explains that the participation of youth generation from Banjar Pulugambang has done spontanly. Keywords : Role of youth generation,Ecotourismdevelopment, Subak.

ABSTRACT Ecotourism is a trend in the world of tourism in which there is an attempt to empower the community to improve the local economy. Taman Sari Buwana is an ecotourism located in Tunjuk Village, Tabanan District, Tabanan Bali. This study aims to assess the form of community empowerment in the tourism development process, Taman Sari Buwana using qualitative data types with primary and secondary data sources. The Data were collected through observation, library research and in-depth interviews using a Porposive Sampling technique. Taman Sari Buwana is an ecotourism located at Tunjuk Village, Tabanan District, Tabanan Bali. Ecotourism was pioneered by I Ketut Buwana SE.MM born at Banjar Beng Kaja, Tunjuk village. Ecotourism of Taman Sari Buwana is offering alternative tourism activities such as trekking to utilize the resources and culture of Banjar Beng Kaja, Tunjuk Village. This study was conducted to review the form of community empowerment in the tourism development process Taman Sari Buwana. In its development, ecotourism of Taman Sari Buwana empower local communities in three stages: first, the planning of which empowerment in tourism potential mapping, land supply, the provision of facilities and socialization programs. Second, the implementation stage, of which in the implementation of community development and management of ecotourism program. And third, monitoring or evaluation stage including community empowerment in monitoring and benefits of ecotourism Taman Sari Buwana.

Tourism development should involve the local community as one of strakeholders in its management. In the management of tourist villages, local community should be active in tourism activities to gain the benefits . Therefore local communities also have the right to be able to earn the economic benefits equitably. This study aims to determine the participation of local communities in the management of tourism activites in the Jatiluwih Village, Bali. This research is important because local community participation in tourist village can determine sustainable development The research methodology used in this study is a qualitative research, with observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation as well as using the concept of a tourism village and community participation theory to analyze the problems in the field. The result shows that decision-making in local community participation is still lacking. They have chance to listened or hearded but their opinion not necesseraliy considered. Benefits received by the local community from tourism activities are the community has begun to get the right share from the tourism development of their village. Chaiman of the PHRI (Indonesia Hotel and Restaurant Association)said that the Bali Arts festival is not a appropriate to serve as a tourist attraction. Based on this research aims to know the perception of tourist on the implementation of the Bali Arts Festival as a tourist attraction. The method in this study using a type of qualitative and quantitative data sources, the primary data, secondary data. The data collection is done by means of literature study, interviews, questionnaries, observations. Sampling technique in this study using a quota sampling, determine the sample using the formula Slovinwith the number of domestic tourists 50 people. Analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative data analysis. The results showed that the Bali Arts Festival can be used as a tourist attraction, because the event can attract tourists to visit.Based on the questionnaire that has been distributed, the Bali Arts festival can be used as a tourist attraction for many tourists can find products by the people of Bali, both for the preservation of Balinese culture, and increase the economic income of local communities Keywords: Perception, Travelers Domestic, Bali Arts Festival, Tourist Attractions

This report, entitled "Development of Pangsan Village Tourism as Destinations in Petang District of Badung Regency" with the background of the issue stating that the tourist village near death, or it can be said as a tourist village that did not develop. This study aims to determine the involvement of what has been made public for five years after the enactment of a tourist village and how the development of village tourism with the involvement of the community as the manager of the tourist village through analysis of the Destinations Lifecycle Theory. Judging from Destinations Lifecycle theory, Pangsan Village Tourism stage of development at the stage of Involvement / participation is increasing visitors encouraged local residents offers exclusively to its visitors. Contact with local community remain high and some of them began to adjust their social patterns to accommodate changes in economic conditions due to the presence of tourists. Promotion of tourist destinations ranging initiated. During the process of collecting the data, obtained by the findings that the involvement or participation in a tourist village in the management of member services, guides, to provide lodging for travelers when visiting tourist village. In addition, people began to provide other facilities such as trekking and cycling facilities as well as the efforts rafting prepared by one of the people. This research explains about coffee agrotourism developing strategy in Tempur Village, Keling, Jepara,Central Java. The main potential of this village is coffee products, but these coffee products are only for souvenirs andthere are no plans to develop it as an agrotourism. Looking back at this issue, it needs to do a deep research ondeveloping coffee agrotourism so it will be a good product from this village. This research is focused on analyzingagrotourism developing plans, especially coffee estate which has not developed yet in this village. This research hastwo scopes which are limited by two variables, the first one is the existing condition of Tempur Village includingprofile, potential, and tourism product component, the second one is developing village potential including coffeeagrotourism developing strategy using SWOT (Atraction, Aminities, Accessibilitiy, Ancelery) analysis.The result of this research explains that Tempur Village has a potential to be developed as coffeeagrotourism, because this region has fertile soil, large coffee estate and natural environment. In developing coffeeagrotourism needs good preparation from the government, coffee farmers, and also local residents so it will be inharmony. Coffee farmers empowerment, local residents and attractive coffee product packaging production needs tobe taught in developing coffee agrotourism. Furthermore, upgrading village facilities to reach the tourismdestination needs to be done to support tourism development, so the plans which have been planned can run well.With the plans of coffee agrotourism development, it is hoped to be useful for academics and the government in orderto increase science.Keyword: Strategy of Developing Coffe Agrotourism.

Makotek tradition is believed as a tradition to ward off bad omens which is practiced twice a year at Kuningan Day by Munggu villagers. In addition to the function of Makotek tradition as religious ritual, it also has a function as tourism attraction. This research aims to identify the value of Makotek tradition and gives some recommendation about tourism attraction development based on Makotek tradition value hence the stakeholder at Munggu Tourism Village can get additional reference to develop various tourism activities. This research uses qualitative method and applies tourism attraction concept, tourism attraction development concept, and special interest tourism concept. Makotek tradition value were: 1) presentations value of Makotek are talent value, skill value, and medium value; 2) content value of Makotek are knowledge value, ethnic value, intuition value, concept value, life value (morality value, social value, religion value); 3) appearance value of Makotek are form value (shape value and structure value). Special interest tourism attraction developments that can be done were: 1) develop attractions with something to see criteria that represents content value (knowledge and life value) of Makotek tradition and meets enriching and learning aspect; 2) develop attractions with something to do criteria that represents presentation value (skill, talent and medium value), content value (social, knowledge, intution, concept value), appearance value (shape and structure value) of Makotek tradition and meets rewarding, enriching, adventuring, and learning aspect; 3) develop attractions with something to buy criteria that represents presentation value (skill value) of Makotek Tradition and meets rewarding aspect. This paper, entitled "employment opportunities for people with the Bali Safari And Marine Park in Serongga Village, Gianyar Regency." The importance of the research carried out is to know the influence of the existence of the Bali Safari And Marine Park (BSMP) towards employment opportunities obtained village community Serongga. Data analysis technique used is descriptive-qualitative techniques, namely how the excavation information then the results are depicted in the form of words or sentences then its compilation is done systematically and accurately about the fact are there so that the result is related to the development of tourism and its influence on the employment opportunities available to the community of the village of Serongga. Based on research results, employment opportunities obtained by the Serongga village community by having BSMP divided into two i.e. employment opportunities directly and indirectly. Immediate job opportunities divided into employment as labor contracts and as workers in art BSMP. Indirect job opportunities divided into employment opportunities as a livestock feed suppliers in the form of elephant grass and fresh vegetables as well as employment opportunities as a provider of food for the staff at BSMP Keywords : employment, community, existence.
