Abstract

Electronic equipment such as computer , scanner , printer , converter , and inverter is non - linear loads . Abstract

Lightening is one of important factors in designing a room. Lightening intensity does not meet the standards can affect eye health and work activities. In this study measurement of Lightening intensity strongly is carried out in the New Building of the Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Pekanbaru (STTP). From the measurement that have been made is less than the standard, which expected based on SNI 6197-2011. Therefore, evaluation and recalculation the number of lamp is carried out by using the zonal cavity method and then, it is simulated by using software dialux evo 8.1. From the results of calculation using the zonal cavity method, the Lightening strong expected for the rooms can be derived and simulates using software dialux display a room in three-dimensional form displays the strong results of the Lightening intensity in the room directly. In using dialux software, there are three types of lamp used, namely attach lamp, in hanging lamp and down light lamp.Keywords: SNI 6197-2011, Lamp, Zonal Cavity Methods, software dialux evo 8.1, variation of lamp.

Abstract

This paper discusses about load shedding scheme using under frequency relay in Teluk Lembu substation PT. PLN electric power system. Load shedding is used as an effort to improve the unstable system frequency because of overload condition. Load shedding is expected to improve the frequency rapidly and the amount of load shed as minimum as possible. To prove the effectiveness of load shedding scheme used by PLN, do a comparison with the load shedding scheme using trial and error method. Simulation of load shedding is using ETAP software version 12.6.0. From the simulation, load shedding scheme owned PLN is still effective against the condition of decreasing frequency.Keywords: Load shedding, frequency, under frequency relay, ETAP

Abstract

The supply of electrical energy starts with the generation process, then transmitted and then distributed to consumers. It cannot be separated from the disturbances that occur, both internal and external. This study discusses external disturbances in the form of lightning strikes at the SUTT 150 kV Koto Panjang - Garuda Sakti tower using the severity index method. This severity index method produces a tower approach that has the highest level of lightning strike hazard. From the research results, the tower with the most significant severity index value is tower number 1 with a height of 197 m with a severity index value of 13.9 with data on the damage to isolators in the period January - May 2020 totaling three pieces. And the tower with the smallest severity index value is tower number 134 with a height of 35 m and does not have insulator damaged data. From these results, the magnitude of the severity index value of the lightning strike vulnerability on the tower is directly proportional to the damage that occurs in the insulator. Abstract

The intensity of illumination in a room should be in accordance with the need of that room, like the set standards of the Indonesia National Number 6197 in 2011. The study is intended to evaluate the system of lighting in the rooms and take into account the aspect of saving energy of the Yayasan Putri Tujuh Ujung Batu. From the result of the measurement directly by using Light Meter measurement tool obtained that strong lighting in the room do not meet the Indonesia National Standard. This research is carried out the intensity measurement of strong lighting in the Putri Tujuh Ujung Batu Foundation.. Cause of that, lamps evaluation of intensity by using of zonal cavity methods. Type of lamps suggested are five Philips LED with 33 Watts. The results of the calculation method are simulated using the DIALux Evo V.8.2 software which display on dimensional three image and intensity of illumination in the room. From simulation, the colour of wall with pure white increases the illumination intensity from 400 Luxes to be 556 Luxes. Saving Energy for SD Islam Inayah is 31,25 by using Philips LED compared to Hannochs lamps.Keywords: Zonal Cavity Method , Software DIALux Evo , Saving Energy.

Abstract

Public road lighting facilities are needed to support the activities and mobility of road users. Factor affecting. the point of view of the right type of lamp, the pole distance, the boom length and boom angle of lamp. This is done so that road lighting can be implemented optimally, such as the use of energy-saving lamps and the design of road lighting designs in accordance with SNI. This research aims to evaluate and propose a PJU design by maximizing the efficiency of the lighting system. The study area used for research is the main road of Riau University, especially the main campus of UNRI which is in Panam Pekanbaru. To facilitate the design process, software for lighting simulation is used, namely DIALux evo 8.2. The results of the study refer to SNI 7391:2008. The lamps used 13,4 watts LED with 1600 lumens and 14,6 watts LED with 2200 lumens adapts to lighting needs on the road so as to minimize use of poles and lamps. Based on the results of calculations that have been carried out on the road lighting parameters of the University of Riau, the pole distance is obtained in the range of 10 meters - 17 meters adjusting the distribution of light on the road, the boom length in the range of 0,5 meter - 8.2 meters adjusting the distance of the pole to the road, the boom angle in the range of 0 ° - 15 ° adjusts to the position of the road to the lights, The average illumination level is in the range of 2,93 Lux – 4,38 Lux with an evenness of 0.42 - 0.6 and the glare threshold is in the range of 0 - 2 where the maximum glare threshold is 4. Abstract

All electrical power cannot be distributed properly to consumers due to the power losses that occur caused by technical and non-technical problems. The unbalance loads of distribution power system channel can happen caused by permanent conductive resistance. Good conductor should not have resistance value, but in reality every object has electrical resistance value. This conductive resistanve can cause the power losses besides it the condition of distribution network such as the length of the network often increased also it contribution to cause the power losses. The distribution network is more prone to disruption because the distribution of electricity to consumers is carried out continuously.Therefore it is necessary for the calculation of the power losses generated by the conductor. The calculation is carried out on a 20 kV distribution channel with a point to point calculation method. Total primary current has generated phase R is 78.25 A, phase S is 73. 5 A and phase T is 75.6 A. Total power losses that has generated feeder Sungkai is 3244.686 W. Total percentage power losses that generated feeder Sungkai is 6.5%.Keywords : power losses, unbalance load, primary distribution system

Abstract

Pekanbaru city is a city located in an area that has a large enough lightning density level that is equal to 136 days per year with a density of lightning strikes to the ground (Ng) reached19,5128 strikes/ km2/ year. So it can endanger the high buildings as being in PT. TELKOM Pekanbaru. PT. TELKOM Pekanbaru is the central distribution of data throughout the RiauMainland telecommunication, where it needs a reliable protection system. The aim of this study is to introduce a new method introduced in the IEEE publication, IEEE 998TM-2012, on the lightning protection called EGM Eriksson method. This study uses a Eriksson EGM method to analyze the composition of the air terminal building PT. TELKOM Pekanbaru, which will then determine the area of protection of the external lightning protection system All of this analysis is described in three dimensions using Sketchup 2015 and showed good protection results.Keywords : lightning protection, EGM, Eriksson

Abstract

Temperature, Hydrogen Potential (pH), and Turbidity are important information to know to see the physical elements of liquid waste. This research was conducted using the Arduino Uno Microcontroller as a controller, temperature sensor (DS18B20), pH sensor, Turbidity sensor and SD card module for data logger and real time. The results of namely the pH sensor with an average error of 1.09%, the temperature sensor of 3.05% and the turbidity sensor of 3.46%. For the time of sending data from Arduino Uno to SD card every 30 minutes. the success of a measuring instrument that displays readings on a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) and recording data stored on a memory card. From the test results to the field, data obtained the average value of the pH sensor voltage reading of 2.89 volts with the average pH value being read by the pH sensor of 5.30, for the average value of temperature sensor readings of 37 °C and for average The average voltage reading on the turbididy sensor is 2.55 volts with an average turbidity level of 296 NTU. Abstract

The need for knowledge will never become the student, students, and the society.Along with diminishing labor electrical engineering lab work equipment in universities and riau diciptakanlah the new lab work to create a starting motor direct current detention before using in order to support the process of learning and to provide knowledge to stick together.The test is done to three blocks chain, namely, the relay prisoners startingand current starting.Starting on tampa load the prisoners semangkin small will produce a current of starting a large while the one-time prisoners generator inversely against the current starting at 10 percentage of the average data error 3,863 % and percentages 96,1936 %.Keywords: Starting Motor DC Shunt, Mikrokontroller ATMega8535.
