Abstract

Changes in the organization are something that happens frequently. Therefore, the readiness of employees to face change is an important thing that needs to be developed by leaders. This study aims to determine the mediating role of proactive personality in the relationship between transformational leadership and readiness to change among employees. Through a convenience sampling technique, we have 45 employees from division who were making changes in their management operations as respondents. Data collection techniques used the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ), Readiness for Change Questionnaire-II (RFCQ-II), and Proactive Personality Scale questionnaires. The three instruments have a good validity value, which ranges from 0.3 to 0.7, and are reliable with a reliability value above 0.7. Through regression analysis techniques, especially the 4 Hayes PROCESS mediation model, we find that proactive personality fully mediated the relationship between transformational leadership and readiness to change (β = 0.37, [0.21; 0.56]). This study indicates that leaders who provide opportunities for their subordinates to express ideas and solve problems in their work and create opportunities for their followers to participate in decision-making can increase the change readiness of their employees only if the subordinates have a proactive personality. Employees with proactive personalities can identify opportunities, take the initiative, survive, and are not afraid of changes around them, so they are better prepared to change.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the influence of job crafting training on employee work engagement in General Elections Commission districts Purwakarta before and after job crafting training. The sample in the study consisted twelve employees of General Elections Commission districts Purwakarta. The research used mixed methods research. The design used in this study is quasi-experimental (i.e., intervention group, N = 6, and a control group, N = 6). The research data were obtained from the UWES-17 (Utrecht Work Engagement Scale) [23]. The data processed with Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney U statistic test. This study shows that job crafting training enhances work engagement in General Elections Commission district Purwakarta. This study suggests the agencies to provide job crafting training to all employees of General Elections Commission districts Purwakarta as an effort that can be to increase work engagement.

Abstract

Postulan adalah masa pendidikan awal untuk mengenalkan dan mempersiapkan calon imam Katolik tentang kehidupan membiara. Dalam masa ini. para postulan harus melakukan penyesuaian diri dengan sesama postulan dan lingkungan, selain juga harus semakin mengenali dan mendalami panggilan mereka. Para postulan diharapkan mengenali dirinya dan mampu mengembangkan potensinya sehingga membantunya melakukan adaptasi. Pengenalan diri menjadi penting, karena postulan akan memahami apa prioritas dalam hidup dan membantu mereka mencapai tujuan hidupnya. Melalui psikoedukasi, para postulan diajak untuk melakukan refleksi diri dan berdiskusi untuk lebih mengenali dirinya. Setelah melakukan refleksi dan diskusi, postulan semakin menyadari tentang karakter, pengalaman-pengalaman yang membentuk dirinya sekaligus mengenali penilaian orang lain akan dirinya.

Abstract

Adolescents' future orientation toward marriage refers to the subjective ideas they form about the marriage they want in the future, including how they think, explore, and plan their lifetime development journey concerning marriage. Teenagers who lack future orientation in marriage frequently engage in promiscuity, unhealthy romantic relationships, and early marriages, which often result in divorce. For their future marriage to be successful, adolescents must develop a future-oriented marriage. This study examines how family function and peers support can predict the development of future orientation in marriage in class XII students of private schools in Tangerang City. This research explains the essential components needed in preparing for future orientation marriage, including romantic relationships. Through the convenience sampling technique, 212 students took part in the study. This study used three questionnaires with good validity and reliability: The McMaster Family Assessment Device (MMFAD), Peers Support, and The Prospective Life Course (PLC) Questionnaire – Future Marriage and Family. With hierarchical regression analysis techniques, this study shows that family functioning, peers support, and gender are correlated with future orientation-marriage. Students who believe that their families have healthy and effective structures, organizations, and patterns of interaction between family members are better able to develop a more focused and clearer subjective picture of the future in the field of marriage. This study also shows that students who receive high peers support are more successful in developing a clear and focused future orientation marriage. Based on this research, we suggest examining the future orientation-marriage to a wider target population using a random sampling technique so the result will have a broader generalization.

Abstract

Fresh graduates in their early adult development are vulnerable to experiencing a quarter-life crisis. This study uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in dealing with the quarter-life crisis. Three fresh graduates participated in this research. They were given the Quarter-Life Crisis measurement tool and The Comprehensive Assessment of Acceptance and Commitment Treatment Process tool before being given the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy intervention in 4 sessions for two weeks. The results of this study show, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy can reduce scores of indecisiveness in making decisions, desperation, negative self-judgment, being stuck in a tough situation, anxiety, depression, and worried about interpersonal relationships that are being and will be built for the fresh graduates. It also can increase the scores of defusion, self as a context, acceptance, values, flexibles at the present moment, and committed action for fresh graduates. Both of the results show that the intervention is having an impact on fresh graduates. Even so, the research is not significant from a quantitative analysis standpoint.

Abstract

Calon imam adalah seseorang yang mengikuti pendidikan untuk tujuan menjadi seorang imam. Mereka adalah pribadi yang menerima rahmat Tuhan dan bersedia menjawab panggilan Tuhan. Menjadi imam Katolik memiliki tantangan yang besar, oleh karena itu Gereja harus 'ketat' dalam memilih calon imam. Gereja bertanggung jawab dalam membina calon imam harus memastikan bahwa para calon imam itu telah 'dewasa dan matang secara emosional' sebelum mereka ditahbiskan. Salah satu pembinaan yang dilakukan adalah pembinaan kepribadian yang bertujuan agar para calon imam dapat mengenal dirinya, bakat dan minatnya, serta kelebihan dan kekurangannya. Kegiatan menggunakan metode psikoedukasi, yang meliputi kegiatan ceramah, studi kasus, diskusi kelompok, analisis film, dan refleksi. Melalui berbagai kegiatan ini diharapkan para calon imam dapat lebih mengenal diri dan minatnya, serta semakin memperkuat panggilannya. Dalam akhir kegiatan ini, calon imam semakin menyadari bahwa panggilan tidak mudah ditemukan, membutuhkan refleksi diri, mencoba suatu kegiatan, ketekunan dan berdialog dengan orang lain.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara panggilan dan keterikatan kerja yang dimediasi oleh komitmen karir. Melalui teknik purposive sampling diperoleh 82 guru Sekolah Menengah Pertama dengan minimal masa kerja 1 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen Calling and Vocation Questionnaire, The Career Commitment Scale, dan Utrecht Work Engagement dengan nilai validitas dan reliabilitas yang tergolong baik. Melalui teknik analisis regresi dengan menggunakan Process Macro model mediasi 4, diperoleh hasil bahwa komitmen karir memediasi secara parsial hubungan panggilan dan keterikatan kerja. Guru yang meyakini pekerjaannya sebagai panggilan akan lebih memiliki komitmen terhadap karirnya dan menunjukkan keterikatan yang kuat dengan pekerjaannya. Guru akan tampak berenergi, antusias, berdedikasi, dan menikmati pekerjaannya. Sekolah dapat membantu guru menyadari panggilan dalam pekerjaan agar terus memiliki motivasi dalam menjalani perannya sebagai guru, penuh semangat, dan dedikasi saat bekerja.

Abstract

An experimental method was used in this research by employing Adaptability Competency Training Module to improve Adaptive Performance for employees of PT. X. There were 34 respondents for each of the experimental and control groups who participated. Each participant filled out pre-test and post-test, respectively, the Adaptive Performance Scale and The Adaptability Scale which were spaced for seven days. The total Adaptive Performance and the Adaptability Competency means were compared, between pre-test and post-test used Paired Samples T-Test, then between experimental and control groups used Independent Samples T-Test. Based on statistical calculation, total pre-test and post-test scores of the experimental group were significantly differences, with Adaptive Performance coefficient (t=–2.941) and Adaptability Competency coefficient (t=–3.498). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that total Adaptive Performance and Adaptability Competency scores of the participants were significantly increased after being given Adaptability Competency training. To be more effective, future researchers and company authorities can consider this training to be applied on a wider scale and deepen the domain of behavior and results.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami kaitan antara panggilan dan keterikatan pekerjaan pada guru, dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah Calling and Vocation Questionnaire dan Utrecht Work Engagement Scale yang telah diadaptasi ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Melalui teknik purposive sampling, diperoleh responden berjumlah 82 orang guru dengan minimal masa kerja satu tahun. Dengan Pearson's correlation analysis, didapatkan bahwa kedua dimensi panggilan, yaitu presence of calling dan search for calling, masing-masing berkorelasi positif dan signifikan dengan keterikatan kerja. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa baik guru yang sudah merasakan panggilan maupun yang masih aktif mencari panggilan memiliki keterikatan yang kuat dengan pekerjaannya sebagai seorang guru.
