Abstract

This study aims to describe and describe the percentage level of perceived ease of use, perceived effectiveness, feature availability, and security in the interest in using mobile banking. The population in this study is customers who use the Bank Syariah Indonesia Mobile Banking application in Malang City.  As for the calculation of the slovin formula, it was found that the number of samples used in this study amounted to 385 people. Sampling in this study uses nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is using multiple regression with hypothesis tests, namely t test and F test through SPSS 25 software. The results of the study showed that based on the results of the t-Test test, the perceived ease of use variable had a significant positive effect on the interest in using, the perceived effectiveness variable had no effect, the feature availability variable had a negative effect, the security variable had a significant positive effect on the interest in using the BSI mobile banking application, and the results of the F-Test showed that simultaneously, the independent variable (perceived ease of use, perceived effectiveness,  feature availability, and security) have a significant effect on interest in using BSI mobile banking. With the conclusion that perceived ease of use significantly increases customer interest in using BSI mobile banking in Malang City, while perceived effectiveness, feature availability, and security do not have a significant influence partially, but simultaneously these four variables significantly increase customer interest.

Abstract

Investor sentiment arises when there is an event or event that affects people's lives such as pandemics, terrorism, wars, and economic conditions. The Covid 19 pandemic is an outbreak that has emerged and its spread is very fast around the world, so it requires people to stay at home to reduce the rate of transmission. This research was conducted to find out the positive and negative sentiment of investors towards the return of Jakarta Islamic Index shares. Positive and negative sentiment is induced from medical terms that appear on the google trends page. The method carried out is to use quantitative with a descriptive approach. The results obtained in this study are that investor sentiment, both positive and negative, partially and simultaneously has a significant positive effect on stock returns on the Jakarta Islamic Index. This shows that if there is a trust issue that is happening such as covid-19, war, data breaches, it can make investor sentiment change in choosing companies that issue stocks with data evidence taken from Google Trends to analyze the popularity of queries with keywords entered into search engines.

Abstract

MIA Coffee is a business venture owned by Maahad Ihya Al Ahmadi in Kampung Sungai, Kelambu, Selangor, Malaysia. The management of MIA Coffee comes from staff and teachers at the same school. However, this business wants to be developed so that people outside the Islamic boarding school can enjoy it. Therefore, it is necessary to have skills in digital marketing and branding of Islamic products. The method used in this service uses service learning activities, where students of the International KKM UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang provide training related to courses taught by lecturers who are experts related to this. The result of this service is the understanding of the administrators and the opening of MIA Coffee for the community around the Islamic boarding school. The limitation of this community service is that it has not been included in creating social media and marketplaces to implement the results of digital marketing and Islamic product branding dissemination.

Abstract

Risk is a potential loss that a company cannot predict. However, risks can be mitigated by dividing or enduring each other. This research wants to re-examine the research gap with the same theme. This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. The results showed that premium income and investment returns partially affected net profit. In contrast, claim expenses and operating expenses did not have a significant effect on net profit. Then simultaneous test results show that Premium Income, Investment Returns, Claim Expenses, and Operating Expenses to Net Profit together or simultaneously have a significant effect on net profit in Sharia life insurance.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to analyse the performance of conventional and sharia stocks in the Indonesian capital market for the 2019-2023 period. the LQ45 and JII indices are used as proxies to represent each of the conventional and sharia stocks. The method used in this research is descriptive method, where the evaluation of the performance of conventional and sharia stocks is measured based on the sharpe, treynor, and jensen indices. The population in this research are all stocks included in the LQ 45 and JII indices in the 2019-2023 period. The samples in this study were 19 conventional stocks from the LQ 45 indices and 13 Islamic stocks from the JII indices. The sampling method used is non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach. the results of this study show several stocks that have performed well during the 2019-2023 period, in conventional stocks, namely: ADRO, ANTM, BBRI, ICBP, INCO, ITMG. While in sharia stocks, namely ADRO, ANTM, ICBP, INCO. These stocks can be considered by investors to be included in the investment portfolio. The conclusion of this study is that the performance of conventional and sharia stocks based on the Sharpe, Treynor, and Jensen, value of stocks is dominated by negative values, which means that the condition of stock analysis is quite bad compared to the portfolio, portfolio beta, and the market or benchmark used.

Abstract

Background: Kaum perempuan bisa menjadi pemberdaya dan contoh masyarakat dalam menanggulangi kemiskinan ekstrim. Namun ketakutan akan rugi yang lebih besar dari produk yang tidak terjual serta pemahaman ibu rumah tangga terkait dengan poin-poin krusial dalam berbisnis seperti perencanaan dalam memulai bisnis, pemilihan produk, strategi marketing, hingga pembukuan dan manajemen keuangan yang baik untuk keberlanjutan usaha masih minim. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk memberikan pendampingan pemberdayaan perempuan pelaku usaha industri rumahan dalam upaya keberlanjutan ekonomi rumah tangga. Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) di Desa Sengkaling, Kelurahan Mulyoagung, Kecamatan Dau, Kabupaten Malang dengan jumlah 25 pelaku usaha industri rumah tangga. Data diambil dengan observasi, wawancara, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hasil: Pemahaman yang lebih baik oleh perempuan pelaku usaha tentang perencanaan bisnis, produk, pemasaran, dan pembuatan laporan keuangan dasar. Dengan pemahaman pelaku usaha industri rumah tangga yang lebih baik, maka kaum perempuan juga bisa menjadi pioneer untuk menanggulangi kemiskinan ekstrim dalam sektor rumah tangga. Kesimpulan: Melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan perencanaan bisnis untuk usaha mikro terlihat adanya peningkatan pengetahun perempuan pelaku usaha Industri Rumah Tangga. Sudah tidak ada lagi ketakutan akan rugi yang lebih besar dari produk yang tidak terjual serta pemahaman ibu rumah tangga terkait dengan poin-poin krusial dalam berbisnis seperti perencanaan dalam memulai bisnis, pemilihan produk, strategi marketing, hingga pembukuan dan manajemen keuangan yang baik untuk keberlanjutan usaha sudah mulai meningkat.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic affects financial institutions worldwide, including Islamic financial institutions such as sharia insurance. This research focuses on sharia insurance in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) that provide governance mechanisms and audit quality. The value of sharia insurance income in the MENA did not show a certain trend during the study period, although there were some extreme values during this COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to examine the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on sharia insurance earned in MENA. The quarterly data from 2010 to 2020 is used with panel regression as an analytical tool. As a result, the COVID-19 pandemic had no significant effect on sharia insurance earned in MENA. On the other hand, net income, long-term investment, assets have a significant effect. It shows that most sharia insurance in the MENA can survive during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study also confirms that Islamic financial institutions are still the best in their ability to stay during the COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, sharia insurance is an alternative for welfare protection for residents in the MENA.

Abstract

The green economy system is a positive economic activity that can improve people's welfare by reducing the risk of environmental pollution. Sugarcane is one of the big income in one of the Lamongan areas and in the area there is the largest sugar production factory in Asia, this has the potential for a lot of waste generated from the factory activities. This research aims to find out how sugar cane waste management is in accordance with the Green economy and what impact the establishment of a sugar production factory has on the green economy system and community activities. This research uses a qualitative method that focuses on interviews with parties concerned with the factory and a descriptive approach. The results showed that the factory had successfully treated waste by implementing a green economy system so that the waste flowing into the community did not interfere with community activities and pollute the environment. This research underscores the importance of implementing a green economy system in waste management.

Abstract

Poverty is an important problem that can affect the global economy, including Indonesia. The number of poverty in Indonesia is still very fluctuating, while the acquisition of zakah and infaq continues to increase from year to year. The main target in the distribution of zakah and infaq funds is to reduce to alleviate poverty. This study aims to determine the effect of zakah and infaq on poverty in Indonesia. This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research showed that zakah had a significant negative influence on poverty. Infaq also has a significant negative effect on poverty. Simultaneously, zakah and infaq have a significant effect on poverty.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the soundness of Islamic Commercial Banks listed on theIndonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018-2020 using the REGC method Risk profile(Risk profile), Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Profitability (Earnings) and Capital(Capital). This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with the research subject ofIslamic Commercial Banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2020 period.The data were obtained by using literature study and documentation techniques. The dataanalysis technique used in this study is financial analysis using the RGEC method The resultsof the study show that the performance of each Islamic Commercial Bank is in the samecomposite rank each year, namely: BRI Syariah Bank for the 2018-2020 period is at compositerank 2 (PK-2) with the HEALTHY category according to the details of the weight of thedetermination composite ratings are 74.29%, 82.86% and 82.86. Panin Dubai Syariah Bank forthe 2018-2020 period is at composite rank 3 (PK-3) with the ENOUGH HEALTHY categoryaccording to the weighting of the composite ratings of 65.71%, 62.86% and 62.86.Furthermore, BTPN Syariah is ranked composite 1 (PK-1) with the VERY HEALTHYcategory according to the weight of the composite rating of 91.43% in a row during the 2018-2020 period.
