Abstract

ABSTRAKPersalinan merupakan proses fisiologis tubuh yang menimbulkan nyeri, tetapi persepsi nyeri yang dirasakan seseorang berbeda-beda tergantung adaptasinya selama proses persalinan. Intervensi yang dapat diberikan untuk menurunkan nyeri persalinan diantaranya adalah stimulasi kulit dengan teknik kompres menggunakan es. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh stimulasi kulit dengan teknik kompres menggunakan es terhadap penurunan persepsi kala I fase aktif persalinan fisiologis. Desain penelitian ini Quasy Eksperimental tipe non randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Populasinya ibu inpartu di ruang Ponek RSUD Kabupaten Jombang dan sampelnya ibu inpartu yang memenuhi kriteria penelitian dengan jumlah 23 responden untuk kelompok perlakuan dan 23 responden untuk kelompok kontrol dengan teknik purposive sampling. Variabel independentnya stimulasi kulit dengan teknik kompres menggunakan es dan variabel dependentnya penurunan persepsi nyeri kala I fase aktif persalinan fisiologis. Uji statistik yang digunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test dan Mann Whitney Test dengan tingkat kemaknaan P ≤ 0,05. Sesuai dengan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test didapatkan skala nyeri sebelum dan sesudah intervensi P = 0,00 yang berarti ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara stimulasi kulit dengan teknik kompres menggunakan es terhadap penurunan persepsi nyeri. Dan berdasarkan uji Mann Whitney Test didapatkan P = 0,209 dari P ≤ 0,05.Kata kunci: kompres es, penurunan persepsi nyeri ABSTRACTChildbearing is a phisiological body process which couse pain but the pain perceptions are different among other because it depends on their adaptation during childbearing process. The intervention of childbearing pain decreasing is by stimulating skin with ice compress technique. This research aims to investigate the influence of skin stimulus in accordance with ice compress technique in reducing the first stage of pain perception on active phase of phisiological childbearing process. This research uses Quasy Experimental Non Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The samples and population are taken from childbearing mother at gynecological ward of general hospital of RSUD Jombang who has research criteria with 23 respondents for a threatment group and 23 respondents for a control group with Purposive Sampling technique. The independent variable is skin stimulus with ice compress technique and dependent variable is the decreasing of active stage I of pain perception in phisiological childbearing process. The statistic test uses Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test dan Mann Whitney Test with the meaning level of P ≤ 0,05.Key word: ice compress, reducing of pain perception

Abstract

Social interaction is the key of all social life, because without social interaction there may be no life together. In order to make the individuals are able to interact socially well, somebody must have high confidence in order to make it easier in interacting with other individuals. Confidence is also needed to be more self-respecting, because it is built on the basis of a positive feeling of your own self-respect. The general purpose of this study was to describe the influence of self-confidence to the social interaction of 10th grade students of Panca Bhakti Vocational High School Kubu Raya.  The population in this study was 146 students and the sample was 59 students at the tenth grade of Panca Bhakti Vocational High School Kubu Raya. This study used quantitave approach. The techniques in collecting data used data analysis technique using the percentage formula and product moment correlation and coefficient of determination. Based on the result of this study, it could be concluded that: (1) self-confidence of 10th grade students of Panca Bhakti Vocational High School Kubu Raya was classified “high”, (2) the social interaction of 10th grade students of Panca Bhakti Vocational High School Kubu Raya was classified “good”, (3) there is significant influence of the social interaction of 10th grade students of Panca Bhakti Vocational High School Kubu Raya.   Keywords: Self-Confidence, Social Interaction

Abstract

Majalah Tempo merupakan majalah yang didirikan oleh Goenawan Mohamad dan Fikri Jufri. Majalah ini berhasil diterbitkan pada tanggal 6 Maret 1971. Pendirian majalah Tempo, bertepatan dengan situasi pers Indonesia yang bebas dan cenderung berarah pada sistem pers liberal. Oleh karena itu, majalah Tempo tidak segan-segan melakukan kritik terhadap kebijakan pemerintah melalui pemberitaannya. Satu tahun setelah pendirian majalah Tempo, Indonesia mengalami kelangkaan beras pada akhir 1972 hingga pertengahan 1973 yang ditandai dengan naiknya harga beras. Majalah Tempo menunjukkan perannya dengan memberitakan kasus kelangkaan beras Beberapa pemberitaan mengandung unsur kritik sosial karena berdampak pada masyarakat. Kritik yang disampaikan majalah Tempo ditujukan bagi pihak yang dianggap lalai dalam pengadaan beras nasional. Pihak ?pihak tersebut yaitu pemerintah, BULOG, dan BUUD. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini yaitu (1) Bagaimana kritik sosial majalah Tempo terhadap kasus kelangkaan beras di Indonesia tahun 1972-1973; (2) Bagaimana respon pemerintah terhadap kritik majalah Tempo mengenai kasus kelangkaan beras tahun 1972-1973. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah yaitu heuristik (pengumpulan sumber), kritik sumber, interpretasi (penafsiran), dan historiografi (penulisan). Berdasarkan tujuan penelitian dan latar belakang diatas, maka hasil penelitian ini yaitu dari 38 artikel majalah Tempo mengenai kasus kelangkaan beras tahun 1972-1973, terdapat tujuh artikel majalah Tempo yang mengandung kritik terhadap apatur Negara. Kritik majalah Tempo terhadap aparatur Negara sesuai dengan kondisi di dalam masyarakat karena didukung oleh sumber lain. Bahwasanya kelangkaan beras tahun 1972-1973 menyengsarakan sebagian besar masyarakat Indonesia. Kritik yang disampaikan majalah Tempo dipengaruhi oleh kondisi sistem pers saat itu yang cenderung mengarah pada sistem pers liberal. Penyampaian kritik oleh Tempo disebabkan oleh kinerja pemerintah dan aparatnya yang buruk. Dengan adanya kritik ini, diharapkan muncul kebijakan baru sebagai wujud evaluasi kinerja sebelumnya. Oleh karena itu, kritik yang disampaikan majalah Tempo ini mendapatkan respon secara tidak langsung dari pemerintah. Kebijakan-kebijakan baru yang diterapkan oleh pemerintah sesuai dengan kritik yang disampaikan majalah Tempo.Kata Kunci: Kritik Sosial, Majalah Tempo, Kelangkaan Beras Tahun 1972-1973.

Abstract

ABSTRACTMenstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) is painful during menstrual periods or during menstruation to make the woman is not working and must sleep. Pain along with nausea, headache, feeling fainted, irritability. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of warm compresses of ginger stew to decrease menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea). This research uses Quasy Experiment design pretest-posttest design using Purposive Sampling technique. The subjects in this study were female students in Sulaiman-Bilqis Darul 'Ulum dormitory as many as 38 respondents who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data retrieval was obtained using observation. Data were analyzed using Paired Sample T-Test and Independent Sample T-Test with significance level ?0.05. The results showed the pain intensity before treatment in both groups was comparable p> 0.05. The intensity of menstrual pain decreased significantly after the treatment of 6.42-3.21 in the warm ginger stew compress group, and from 6.84 to 5.63 in the warm compress group (p <0.05). Intensity of menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) after treatment there was no significant difference between warm ginger stir compress group and warm compress (3.21 ± 2.070 vs. 5.63 ± 2.314). Group of warm ginger stew compresses decreased the level of pain higher than the control group with warm compress only. From result of paired t-test in treatment group obtained result of P-value = 0,000. Warm compresses of ginger stew and warm compresses decrease menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea), so it can be used as an alternative or nonfakmakologi way in reducing the intensity of menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea). Abstract

Abstract Infant massage is the oldest and most popular touch therapy known to man. Role in ruralcommunities is still held by the midwife. Lack of knowledge of mothers on infant massagetechniques, could result in the mother can not properly massage their infants would likely occur a result of unwanted things that could be fatal for infants.The purpose of this study was determine maternal knowledge about massage techniques on infants aged 0-12 months.The methodused is descriptive survey approach. Samples taken in this study were mothers who had infantaged 0-12 months in the Village District Bulurejo Diwek Jombang District, in a way probabililisampling with cluster sampling technique, number of population is 116 by the number of samplused 89 respondents who carried out the month June 2012. The instrument used was questionnaire. From the results showed 42.7% knowledgeable enough about the massatechniques on infants aged 0-12 months, 34.8% and 22.5% knowledgeable both lesknowledgeable. It is expected that the mothers further enhance knowledge of massage techniqueon infants aged 0-12 months with more consultation with local health workers, following tcounseling's and find information in various media such as books, internet, television, radio, andso forth, so the mother can increase knowledge.  Key words: Knowledge Capital, Technical Massaging the Baby Ages 0-12 Months

Abstract

Abstract                Inguinal hernia is a condition in which intra-abdominal fat protrudes through the weak part of the lower abdominal muscles. Caused by congenital, obesity, pregnancy, straining, chronic coughing and clients who work as physical workers, strenuous physical activity results in a continuous increase in pressure on the intra-abdominal muscles, thus triggering the protrusion of organs through the walls of weak organs. This study aims to conduct a study of Nursing Care literature on Inguinal Hernia clients. This research method the study of literature in the scientific papers of diploma nursing study program at the Faculty of Health Science, Unipdu Jombang in 2016-2018 which includes assessment analysis, diagnosis determination, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in several research units. The results of the literature study found that pain priority problems with different scales, in post-operative clients, there were pain and risk of infection problems, after the nursing action was carried out for 3x24 hours of pain and the risk of infection experienced by clients decreased. There are differences regarding the etiology of 4 clients. As such, efforts are made to prevent inguinal hernias from reducing the activity of lifting heavy loads, maintaining ideal body weight, eating foods high in fiber to prevent constipation.       Keywords : Nursing care, hernia,intra-abdominal muscles.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Istirahat tidur merupakan kebutuhan dasar yang harus dipenuhi oleh semua orang. Tidur yang normal melibatkan dua fase, yaitu gerakan bola mata cepat (REM), Rappid Eye Movement, dan tidur dengan gerakan bola mata lambat yaitu (NREM), Non Rappid Eye Monement. Metode: Di dapatkan sebanyak 10 jurnal, yang berasal dari database PubMed , google scholar sebanyak 716 jurnal. Kemudian di ekslusi full text dan yang diluar rentang tahun 2015-2020. Hasil: faktor Usia, stress emosional, stress akademik, lingkungan, handphone dan internet. Pembahasan: Kegiatan tidur yang menghubungkan mekanisme serebral secara bergantian agar mengaktifkan san menekan pusat otak untuk dapat tidur dan bangun. Salah satu aktivitas tidur ini diatur oleh sistem pengaktivasi retikulasi. Sistem pengaktifasi retikulasi mengatur seluruh tingkatan kegiatan susunan saraf pusat, termasuk pengaturan kewaspadaan dan tidur terletak dalam mesensefalon dan bagian atas pons.

Abstract

Previous studies revealed that genre awareness and reading habits partially correlate with reading comprehension. This article reported the results of a study aiming to find out the contribution of genre awareness and reading habits towards the development of students’ comprehension of reading English texts. The participants of this study were 68 students of the Department of English of a state-owned university in East Java, Indonesia, in the 2020/2021 academic year. These students took the three reading courses (Intensive Course, Basic, and Intermediate Reading courses) and were assumed to have been familiar with genres and have developed some reading habits. This research employed a correlational design, involving two predicting variables (genre awareness and reading habits), and one response variable (comprehension). The data were gathered using three instruments: an objective test to measure students’ genre awareness, an online questionnaire to identify students’ reading habits, and an objective test to measure students’ reading comprehension. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis aided by SPSS/PASW Program. The results showed that the data are normally distributed so that conclusions can be drawn accurately that genre awareness and reading habits partially and significantly contribute to reading comprehension. The results also indicated that genre awareness and reading habits simultaneously and significantly contribute to reading comprehension, as shown by the results of the analysis that genre awareness and reading habits contributed 0.203 or 20.3% to reading comprehension. The rest (79.7%) was attributed to other variables outside the variables under study. This study concludes that good genre awareness and good reading habits help students develop good reading comprehension. The results provided in this paper can be used by English teachers as an alternative to help their students improve their genre awareness and cultivate good reading habits.

Abstract

Student participation and student motivation are pivotal efforts to optimize student learning outcomes, particularly in English achievement. This research aimed to ascertain the correlation between student participation (X1) and student motivation (X2) with English achievement (Y) among the twelfth science 3 graders of SMA Negeri 4 Malang. Employing a quantitative approach with a correlational research design, the study quantitatively describes the extent to which these variables are related. The subjects of this research comprised 32 students. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire and student achievement documentation. The data analysis utilized the Azwar 2012 formula and the SPSS 23 version software. The results indicated that the F achievement value was 3.470, while the F table value at n=29 with a significance error of 0.05 was 3.33. This finding suggests that the F achievement value is higher than the F table value (F achievement > F table), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho) and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). Thus, the research concludes that student participation and motivation significantly contribute to improving students' English achievement. Furthermore, this study highlights the importance of fostering an engaging and motivating classroom environment to enhance students' language skills. Active student participation not only reflects their interest in the subject matter but also encourages a more dynamic and interactive learning process. Similarly, motivation serves as a driving force that propels students to strive for better performance and achievement. By understanding and leveraging these factors, educators can implement strategies that better support students' academic growth and proficiency in English. This research provides valuable insights for educational practitioners aiming to improve English learning outcomes through targeted interventions that boost student engagement and motivation.
