Abstract

The post-millennial generation or currently known as the Z generation, is the generation born in the 2000s, the future generation born in the Internet age. This post-millennial generation does not like rigid rules, tends to think creatively and openly and is very easy to comment on. An important point in dealing with the post-millennial generation by providing specific direction for understanding ethics in social life. In the learning process, post millennial generation has visual characteristics, tries and sees the results of the process, wants the teacher as a facilitator, learning starts with "how", and is very easy to get information / knowledge. This is a challenge in determining the right learning strategy for them. With the problem-based learning method it is expected that students / vocational high school (SMK) students will be able to create something different to produce rewards in the form of money as well as personal satisfaction and freedom. Students are required to understand the importance of maintaining health by maintaining and protecting food hygiene, through controlling environmental factors that can or can cause illness and health problems.

Abstract

The learning model that has been applied to the learning process in schools is a direct teaching model. In this learning model, teachers only provide concepts and students only accept these concepts. Although students have been given the opportunity to ask questions, in reality only a few are doing it. This is because many students do not master the material about the arrangement of the modified bun area, so they are afraid or confused about what will be asked, besides the students are less enthusiastic and less active in the classroom which then results in less optimal student learning outcomes. Because this learning is taught step by step, the demonstration is very dependent on students' observation skills. One alternative learning model that allows the development of students' thinking skills (reasoning, communication, and connections) in solving problems in the learning of the Modified Regional Bun Reorganization is Problem Based Learning (PBM). This type of research used in this study is experimental research with 2x2 factorial design. The sampling technique used in this study is a non-probability sampling (quota sampling). Data collection techniques in this study used tests of thinking ability, performance tests, and observations. The results of the study can be concluded that the use of PBM models is very appropriate to be used to improve student learning outcomes compared to using direct learning models with regard to facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

The study aims to know the computational thinking students who are taught using blended learning and students taught using a direct learning model. To find out the thinking of students with self-efficacy owned by students . This type of research is experimental research using factorial design. The results of the study found that (1) Computational thinking students taught using blended learning are higher than the computational thinking students taught using direct learning models; (2) Computational thinking students with self-efficacy higher height than computational thinking students with self-efficacy low on the basic programming subjects; and (3) There is an interaction between learning models (blended learning and direct learning models) and self-efficacy against computational thinking students in basic programming subjects.

Abstract

Industry 4.0 is the state of the industry in the face of the 21st century when there is a massive change through technology that opens a barrier between the digital and physical worlds. There will be many types of jobs lost, and new types of jobs will emerge. Faced with this, high mastery skills are required by graduates. In vocational high schools the mastery of skills is done by sending students directly into industrial work practices. But are IWP activities really able to be used to improve skills in dealing with Industry 4.0? What types of skills students must master when dealing with industry 4.0 This article will conduct a study of various related literature about IWP and industry 4.0. The results of the study will link the effects resulting from IWP activities and needs in industry 4.0. The results of the study indicate that the IWP program in vocational high schools needs some improvement to be able to produce vocational high school graduates who are ready to face industry 4.0.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a valid teaching media for microprocessor engineering subject named Mikro-X. Mikro-X can be accessed online either using computer or smartphone. The development of Mikro-X is based on ten step R&D by Borg and Gall. In the experiment step two class is used, X-EDK 1 as experiment class and X-EDK 2 as control class. Mikro-X is used in experiment class while conventional media is used in control class. Two class is compared by their learning outcomes (affective, cognitive, and psychomotor). Mikro-X has validity 4.539 (Likert scale) based on four validator responses. On the experiment stage, students who use Mikro-X have a higher learning outcome (affective, cognitive, and psychomotor) than students who use conventional media.

Abstract

This study is a research on the development of devices in basic culinary subjects by applying a problem based learning models to increase students’ creativity, consisting of: 1) analysis the validity of the device, 2) analysis the practicality of the device, and 3) analysis the effectiveness of the device. This research was conducted in three stages of the 4-D model, which are defined, design, and develop. A device that have been developed will be tested in 10th Culinary Art 1 and 10th Culinary Art 2 grade of state vocational high school 1 Cerme in even semester of academic year 2019/2020 with by using a research design of One Group Pre-test Post-test Design Learning tools developed include: syllabus, lesson plans scenario, student book, worksheet and key worksheet, affective (social skills), affective (character behavior), cognitive (product), cognitive (process), cognitive (scientific creativity), and psikomotor. The results showed that (a) learning tools that are developed are valid, (b) the learning process runs well, (c) student creativity learning outcomes produce an increase in the high category.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan suatu sistem yang diciptakan untuk terlaksananya pembelajaran yang terdiri dari proses pengajaran dan belajar dengan harapan dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang telah ditetapkan. Untuk dapat mencapai tujuan tersebut dapat dilakukan upaya dengan optimalisasi pestasi belajar siswa. Pertanyaan yang diajukan yakni “apakah sikap kemandirian belajar dapat mengoptimalkan prestasi belajar siswa?” dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah sikap kemandirian belajar dapat mengoptimalkan prestasi belajar ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa. Melalui kajian literatur beberapa referensi dan penelitian yang relevan, analisa hasil penelitian, dan kemudian dilaksanakan focus group discussion. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) Optimalisasi hasil belajar dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa khususnya jurusan multimedia; (2) Adapun peningkatan kemandirian belajar siswa dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai langkah seperti perencanaan pembelajaran yang lebih mengarah pada penumbuhan sikap belajar secara mandiri baik berbantuan media atau kolaborasi metode pembelajaran yang bervariasi; (3) Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran untuk optimalisasi hasil belajar melalui sikap kemandirian belajar perlu mempertimbangkan berbagai hal seperti sarana prasarana serta kelengkapan pembelajaran baik pihak sekolah maupun siswa.

Abstract

Covid-19 telah mengubah pola pembelajaran yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara tatap muka dan kini mulai beralih menggunakan metode pembelajaran daring. Beberapa alternatif telah diberikan, namun alternatif lain paling memungkinkan untuk diterapkan adalah dengan melaksanakan pembelajaran daring yang didukung dengan dukungan e-modul. Penelitian berjenis kuasi eksperimen ini menggunakan desain penelitian one group pre-test post-test design. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis dengan bantuan software SPSS 16. Temuan penelitian ini adalah kompetensi siswa dinyatakan meningkat secara signifikan. Ini dibuktikan dari hasil uji hipotesis yang mendapatkan nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari 0.05 atau H0 ditolak. Selain itu, nilai rata-rata siswa juga meningkat secara dimana nilai pre-test sebesar 59.97, kemudian nilai post-test meningkat sebesar 37% menjadi 82.23 setelah pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring yang didukung e-modul.

Abstract

Bahan ajar adalah sarana dalam proses pembelajaran yang dirangkai secara terstruktur untuk menyampaikan materi dengan praktis dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar, salah satu bahan ajar yaitu berupa modul. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru, kurangnya sumber belajar, dan kurangnya pemahaman peserta didik sehingga hasil belajar kurang maksimal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh Modul Instalasi Bangunan Sederhana (M-IBS) yang layak digunakan, dilihat dari sisi validitas, praktikalitas dan efektivitas. Jenis penelitian ini penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model Research andDevelopment yang mengadopsi model penelitian Sugiyono dengan menerapkan 6 tahap pertama, dilanjukan pengolahan data dan pelaporan, dengan desain penelitian One Shot-Case Study. Subjek uji coba 20 peserta didik SMK Negeri 1 Driyorejo kelas XI TITL. Pengambilan data digunakan untuk mengetahui validitas M-IBS dengan instrumen validasi, untuk mengukur praktikalitas M-IBS menggunakan angket respon siswa dan guru, untuk mengukur efektivitas M-IBS menggunakan hasil belajar peserta didik yang dinilai dengan instrumen butir soal pos-test, lembar observasi tes kinerja dan lembar observasi sikap. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tingkat validitas modul sebesar 84% (sangat valid), tingkat praktikalitas modul dari angket respon guru dan siswa sebesar 82,45% (sangat praktis), sedangkan efektivitas modul dari hasil belajar peserta didik dengan rerata 86,97 (sangat efektif) dan hasil analisis data uji-t mendapat rerata sig.(2-tiled) sebesar 0.000 artinya data deskriptif lebih tinggi signifikan dari KKM ?75. Dapat disimpulkan M-IBS sangat valid, praktis dan efektif, artinya modul sangat layak digunakan.

Abstract

Dasar listrik dan elektronika merupakan mata pelajaran dasar bagi siswa kelas X. Pembuatan media pembelajaran ini berfungsi untuk memudahkan guru dan siswa ketika melakukan proses pembelajaran. Dikarenakan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin canggih peran guru selaku pendidik diharuskan mempunyai kreativitas lebih ketika memilih media alternatif untuk berlangsungnya proses pembelajaran yang bertujuan agar peserta didik dapat lebih menguasai dan mengerti materi yang akan diberikan. Dengan adanya media ini belajar akan lebih mudah dan menghemat waktu, siswa akan belajar mandiri dan meningkatkan minat belajar karena media ini disertai gambar, teks dan video yang menarik. Fungsi media pembelajaran sendiri yaitu untuk meningkatkan kualitas belajar pada saat pembelajaran untuk mempertinggi nilai belajar peserta didik. Manfaat dari media pembelajaran sendiri yaitu untuk menyajikan materi yang jelas dan tidak bersifat verbalitas, mempersingkat waktu pembelajaran, daya indera dan ruang, semakin menarik dan beragam media yang digunakan dapat mencegah sikap siswa yang terkadang sulit untuk mengungkapkan perasaan dan bantuan bantuan orang-orang, penyampaian materi oleh guru lebih jelas dan lebih mudah.
