Abstract

Tangerang is one of the big cities that is developing in Indonesia. Along with the development of the city, one sector that is increasingly developing is the housing sector. In implementing construction projects, problems are often faced, one of which is the occurrence of changes. Almost all existing projects experience variation orders (VO). Variation orders always have cost and time implications. Whatever the variation, there will be risks to the work being done, both in terms of work delays and additional costs that must be borne. Research using the SEM PLS method was carried out to find out what factors cause variation orders and how they affect time and cost performance in channel diversion infrastructure projects in residential areas. Based on the results of responses from correspondents, the significant value that influences project performance is planning and design with indicators of errors in planning drawings. Based on the results of the cost performance analysis for the amount of costs resulting from variation orders on work, the total increase was IDR. 10.516.305.346 and for less work the total is IDR. 6.628.461.533 around 12.96% of the initial contract price and the results of the time performance analysis for the amount of time resulting from variation orders on the project work show that there was a time extension of 5 months or 125%.

Abstract

Cold Storage Building is a building specifically designed to maintain room temperature in very cold conditions which functions as a commodity preservation area so that it can be stored fresh for a long period of time. When constructing a Cold Storage Building, a very specialist construction process is required. Therefore, it must be carried out using a certain construction method (modular construction), using special Materials (sandwich panels), requiring several specialist subcons & a lack of experienced workers. These conditions make the challenge of building a Cold Storage Building more difficult, which can affect the time performance of the project. This research aims to analyze factors that can influence time performance in the implementation of the Cold Storage Building construction project using the Multiple Linear Regression Analysis method. Based on data analysis, the equation Y = 3.166 + 0.108 X1 + 0.208 X2 + 0.040 X3 + 0.112 X4 + 0.164 Based on the results of the Coefficient of Determination Test, simultaneously Manpower Factors (X1), Material Factors (X2), Machine Factors (X3), Method Factors (X4), Money Factors (X5) and Environment Factors (X6) have an influence contribution of 87.6 % of Time Performance (Y). Meanwhile, for the results of the most dominant factors analysis using Beta Standardized x Zero-Order, it was found that the Material Factors (X2) was the most dominant factors that could influence time performance with an influence value of 34.01%. Considerations in determining alternative solutions to improve time performance on Cold Storage Building construction projects are carried out on the most dominant factors, namely the Material Factors (X2).

Abstract

The SPALD Project is currently undergoing a survey phase to gather data on perceptions and experiences related to risks. Data analysis has been conducted using statistical methods to explore the relationship between risk identification and risk management effectiveness in the context of the SPALD project. The analysis results indicate a significant positive correlation between risk identification and risk management effectiveness, with a correlation coefficient of 0.75 (p < 0.01). Regression analysis indicates that the risk identification variable significantly predicts risk management effectiveness (F(1, 123) = 64.32, p < 0.001), with a coefficient of determination (R squared) of 0.52. These findings affirm that enhancing the risk identification process meticulously and comprehensively can enhance risk management effectiveness in the SPALD project in DKI Jakarta. Recommendations for this project include initial risk identification, the use of adaptive risk management systems, implementation of analysis-based mitigation strategies, and team awareness enhancement. These recommendations aim to enhance risk management effectiveness, achieve project objectives, and mitigate potential negative impacts.

Abstract

Many construction companies still employ their workers without caring about the implementation of accident risks, by paying attention to work safety, it is expected that the performance of the workers will increase. This study aims to analyze the influence of occupational safety and health factors and worker motivation factors that affect the performance of workers in residential construction projects. The relationship between occupational safety and health, worker motivation and worker performance will be made in a path diagram model, and analyzed using SEM-PLS with a sample of 72 respondents. The results of the study found that the dominant factors in occupational safety and health are worker health monitoring, emergencies, personnel selection and placement, and hazard inspections. Meanwhile, the dominant factors that influence the motivation of craftsmen are wages, timely payment, and continuity (job security). In residential construction projects, occupational safety and health have a significant positive effect (P <0.0.5) on the motivation of craftsmen, in addition, worker motivation also has a significant positive effect on worker performance. In addition, occupational safety and health also have a significant positive effect directly on worker performance.

Abstract

The Road Infrastructure Development Acceleration Program that has been launched by the Serang Regency Government in the 2017 fiscal year to the 2021 fiscal year, In the implementation of road improvement work in Serang Regency, a working length of 100 kilometers per year has been set for 5 budget years starting from the 2017-2021 fiscal year, the implementation of road improvement work in Serang Regency until the end of 2021 the remaining 20 kilometers due to changes in road length and increase in the volume of work in the field. This study analyzes the factors of additional costs incurred on road improvement work in Serang Regency by identifying the factors causing the cost increase from the largest to smallest factors data collection methods through questionnaires and interviews addressed to contractor personnel with validity, reliability and correlation tests used for data processing, while descriptive analysis is used for data analysis using Jeffreys Amazing Statistics Program (JASP) version 0.16.2 and Relative Importance Index (RII) are expected with this method to determine the factors causing additional costs in road improvement work. The highest level factor was identified as causing the additional cost of implementing Serang Regency road improvement work, namely Volume Changes (Technical Factors) with an RII index value of 0.715.
