Abstract

Marga Indigofera merupakan salah satu sumber pewarna biru alami untuk batik dan tenun.  Jumlah jenis marga ini mencapai 750–780 di dunia. Jenis yang sering dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber pewarna biru oleh pembatik dan penenun di Indonesia, yaitu I. tinctoria. Warna biru yang dihasilkan daun Indigofera  berasal dari senyawa glukosida yang disebut indikan. Namun, keberadaan indikan dalam daun hingga kini belum dapat dikenali dari ciri morfologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memutahirkan data keberagaman jenis Indigofera, memetakan persebaran Indigofera pewarna di Indonesia, kualitas indikan dan indigo dari Indigofera penghasil pewarna, dan menganalisis keberagaman genetic berdasar  marka molekuler.  Data keberagaman diperoleh dengan eksplorasi pada 5 pulau dan koleksi herbarium. Sebaran Indigofera pewarna dipetakan dengan ArcGIS 10.1 . Kuantitas indikan diukur dengan HPLC. Kualitas pewarna indigo diuji  melalui ketahanan luntur warna terhadap pencucian 40 0C, keringat asam dan basa, sinar terang dan penekanan panas. Analisis kualitatif terhadap sembilan jenis Indigofera dari koleksi lapangan berhasil mengidentifikasi empat jenis penghasil warna biru yaitu I. arrecta, I. longiracemosa, I. suffruticosa, and I. tinctoria. Indikator keberadaan indikan pada daun ditandai dengan berubahnya warna air rendaman daun menjadi hijau tua, permukaan atas rendaman berbuih dan berbau tajam setelah percobaan perendaman. Uji kualitas indigo terhadap empat jenis tersebut menunjukkan keempat jenis menghasilkan warna biru dengan kualitas baik yang memenuhi syarat kualitas warna sesuai SNI ditandai nilai 4–5 pada 4 kualitas yang diuji, yaitu ketahanan luntur warna terhadap pencucian 40 0C, keringat asam dan basa, sinar terang dan penekanan panas.

Abstract

The objective of research was to improve the question’s quantity and quality student’s through the application of PBL using dialogue Socratic model at grade X MIA 4 of State Senior High School Gondangrejo. The result of the pre-cycleobservation shows that the quality of the question are 6 question. The quality of the question is in the C2 thinking level while according to the knowledge dimension is un the conceptual knowledge dimension. Mostly, the students thinking skill were low. So that, it needed to be improved. This study was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycle. Subject were 36 students of X MIA 4 State Senior High School Gondangrejo. The steps of the research were planning, acting, and reflecting in each cycle. Data collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The data validation used triangulation method, and then were analized using qualitative-descriptive analysis technique. The improvement of the quantity and the quality of students question indicated by 6 question of pre-cycle activities with conceptual C2 as the best question quality, became 54 questions with procedural C3 as the highest questions quality within first cycle and 70 questions with metacognition C2 as the highest questions quality within the final cycle. The conclusion of research was the application of PBL using dialogue Socratic model improve the quantity and quality of question student at grade X MIA 4 State High School Gondangrejo.

Abstract

Abstract- A few people know Indigofera, but as a admirer of batik and tenun, these plant gives hope for the preservation of batik. Indigofera has a variety of benefits , but more commonly known as blue dye in batik and tenun. The problems of restore the glory of Indigofera from Indonesia who had experienced the triumph can be divided into three principal. There are the increasing scarcity of Indigofera plant, the lack of willingness of the community batik for the cultivation, the process of indigo dyeing longer and complicated, and the results of staining with the natural color is not uniform. The problem by the business presence of more efficient synthetic dyes,  the price of synthetic dyes is cheaper. While research on Indigofera dye is still limited and stagnate, this is a problem should be a concern Botanist .  Keywords: Indigofera, batik, tenun, natural dye

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh problem posing dalam model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif berdasar dari aspek fluency, fleksibility, originality dan elaboration. Penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan desain The Rendomized Posttest only Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar Tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 yang terdiri dari enam kelas dengan 201 siswa. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan simple random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas XI IPA 6 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 28 siswa dengan perlakukan problem posing dalam model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E dan kelas XI IPA 5 yang memiliki 34 siswa sebagai kontrol dengan perlakuan  model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Uji prasyarat hipotesis menggunakan uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah  uji  MANOVA dan pengujian lanjut menggunakan uji Tukey dengan taraf signifikansi 5% yang dibantu dengan program SPSS 22. Prosedur penelitian meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh problem posing dalam model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif berdasar dari aspek fluency, fleksibility, originality dan elaboration. Problem posing dalam model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E memberikan pengaruh terhadap aspek-aspek kemampuan berpikir kreatif mulai paling tinggi sampai paling rendah adalah pada aspek fluency dan  originality  dilanjutkan aspek flexibility dan elaboration.

Abstract

Tom-toman (Indigofera),  plants introduced but become an important for the batik and weavers community in Indonesia. This study aims to explore information of  Indigofera. Most people use tom as natural dyes. Most people in Flores and Sumba were utilized as a livestock sheep, sheep, and cattle. People in Pamekasan using leaf tom (I. tinctoria) as a herbal medicine for children are difficult to eat (cekok).

Abstract

This research aims to study (1) the pattern of scientific communication in biology classes, and (2) the factors and reasons hinder the communication process during the learning process. This is a classroom observation conducted in two classes of grade XI Science of Gondangrejo High School, which were selected randomly. Fifty-five students participated, and two biology teachers had also been involved. The pattern of scientific communication was analyzed based on 10 times observations of both classes, then all communications recorded and analyzed based on VICS Flanders. The hindrances of communication were checked based on categorization introduced by Lunenburg, which consists of four: process, physics, semantic, and psycho social. The findings of the research shows that the pattern of communication is mostly balance between teacher and students, which is represented by region C G J K L M P R (52.43%). Whilst, the area of teacher's domination is 24.79% (A B D E F H I ), and the area of student’s domination scores 22.78% (N O S T). The pattern of scientific communication is two ways communication between teacher and students, but the frequency of student to initiate the communication remains low. The factors hinder the communication process are process barriers.
