Abstract

This research aims to improve the outcomes of student learning and teacher skills in learning science by implementing the experiential learning model. This research is an action class research which is done in two cycles. The subjects of this research are teacher and students in fifth grade on Bulukantil Elementary School of Surakarta academic year 2014/1015. Data collection techniques used the methods of test and observation. Based on the results of the research shown increasing in the average of studied results from cycle I to cycle II from 61, 07 with percentage of 60,7 % to 75,09 with percentage rose to 85%. The research also shown increase in the skills of teachers, on average cycle I teacher skills was 3, 11 with percentage of 48.3% (good in scale) in cycle II rose to 3,5 with percentage88.8% (very good in scale). As a result the experiential learning model can improve the quality of learning that can be suggested to apply in learning especially in natural science.Keyword: experiential learning model, Study result, teacher skills

Abstract

Gardu induk adalah peralatan yang sangat penting dalam menyalurkan energi listrik ke berbagai macam konsumen seperti pendidikan, industri, rumah sakit, dll. Energi lisrik tersebut disalurkan melalui saluran udara (overhead), sehingga menimbulkan permasalahan yaitu gangguan sambaran petir langsung yang dapat merusak sistem isolasi dan peralatan karena nilainya melebihi Basic Insulation System (BIL). Peralatan proteksi dibutuhkan untuk mencegah dan mengurangi gangguan sambaran petir langsung yang dapat menaikkan tegangan sistem. Arester jenis metal-oxide adalah peralatan proteksi yang saat ini banyak digunakan untuk melindungi dari sambaran petir dengan manyalurkan tegangan lebih ke tanah (ground). Pada penelitian ini dua tipe arester dibandingkan serta memodelkan peralatan yang ada pada gardu induk dengan menggunakan simulasi ATPDraw. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa arester tipe Q150NA121A mempunyai kinerja yang sangat baik dengan nilai tegangan lebih sebesar 458 kV. Sedangkan untuk arester tipe Q150NB121A nilai tegangan lebih masih cukup tinggi yaitu sebesar 585 kV.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran di sekolah saat terjadi pandemi covid-19 berubah dari sistem menjadi sistem daring.  Perubahan inilah yang yang menjadikan para orang tua siap untuk bersinergi dengan sekolah saat pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi orang tua terkait ada atau tidaknya kendala yang dihadapi dalam melakukan pendampingan anak saat daring selama pandemi covid-19 terjadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif.  Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan angket online dan disebar pada bulan april 2021. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua di Kelurahan Jebres, Surakarta. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara diskriptif, yaitu memaparkan data setelah dikelompokkan dan menganalisisnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) sebanyak 73,3% orang tua mengalami kendala saat mendampingi anak belajar daring dan 26,7% orang tua tidak mengalami kendala saat mendampingi anak belajar online, 2) Faktor yang menyebabkan orang tua mengalami kendala saat mendampingi anak belajar daring antara lain faktor waktu/kesibukan orang tua 40%, faktor kesulitan mengkondisikan anak 26,67%, faktor ketidak pahaman orang tua terhadap materi yang diajarkan 13,33%, faktor lingkungan yang tidak mendukung seperti bermain handphone dan terkendala sinyal 20%.

Abstract

Innovation in the food sector to support national development in alleviating hunger and creating a healthy and prosperous life can be carried out in various fields, one of which is education. The aim of the implementation of SUS-PDAT in this applied IPA learning is to give practical experience to students in the process of making red oncoms. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection is carried out through the study of literature from various sources, including national and international journals relevant to research topics. Research shows that by introducing food innovations like red oncom to students, it can raise awareness of the importance of healthy and sustainable food consumption in society. Besides, this learning can also be a source of inspiration for the younger generation to engage in the innovative and environmentally friendly food industry of the future. Therefore, red oncom is included in healthy food with affordable economic value. It is hoped that the red oncom innovation which has an umami taste can help the government in sustainable development for a healthy and healthy life without hunger.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the differences in writing skills in elementary schools by using Mind Mapping based joy full learning models and determining the effectiveness of using Mind Mapping based joy full learning models in Indonesian writing skills. This research method is included in experimental research, which takes two groups as research samples. A quasi-experimental study was conducted on 30 elementary school students randomly assigned to the experimental or control group. The data collection method used is the writing skill test method. Before giving the writing activity, a pre-test was carried out. It continued the writing activity by using the experimental group's mind mapping model based on joyful learning. At the same time, the control class did not receive treatment using this model. Next, a post-test was conducted in both groups to determine the effectiveness of the joyful learning-based mind mapping learning model. The data analysis techniques were validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, and t-test. Data analysis used the Independent Sample T-Test technique. The Independent sample t-test showed that the experimental group obtained a higher mean score than the control group. The results of this study indicate that T- arithmetic: 2.354> T-table: 2,000. It can be concluded that the teaching system using the Mind Mapping-based Joy full learning models was better than those that did not use the Mind Mapping-based Joyful learning models. The results of the data analysis are Mind Mapping-based joy-full learning models effectively teach Indonesian writing skills in elementary school. The recommendation of this research is for further research to modify the mind mapping learning model based on joyful learning to be more effective in improving writing skills in elementary school students.

Abstract

The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Problem-based Learning model in improving the students' ability to collaborate on practical activities related to the solution colligative properties. The research design uses quasi-experimental methods with control groups and experiments. The study sample consisted of 60 XI IPA class students selected using purposive sampling techniques, with 30 students in the experimental group and 30 in the control group. The research instruments include a test of collaborative abilities, a sheet of observations on collaborative activities, and an elevator of student responses. The results showed that the average pre-test scores of students' collaboration ability in experimental and control groups were relatively the same. Still, there was a significant improvement in the experimental group's post-test score after applying the Problem-Based Learning model. The pair t-test results showed a substantial improvement in both groups, but the increase in the experimental group was significantly higher (t(30) = 12.45, p < 0.05) compared to the control group (t(30) = 3.21, p < 0.05). Independent t-tests showed significant differences between the experimental and control groups after treatment (t(60) = 6.34, p < 0.05). Observations during the practice showed that students in the experimental group were more active in communicating, sharing tasks, collaborating, and solving problems than in the control group. In addition, the student response raise showed that the majority of students responded positively to the Problem-Based Learning model, with a high average score on interesting and enjoyable aspects (4.5), boosting motivation (4.6), facilitating the understanding of concepts (4.4), and enhance the ability to collaborate (4.7).

Abstract

This study aims to develop a green synthesis method of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) by utilising cassava (Manihot esculenta) peel waste extract and gelatin as reducing and stabilising agents for Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) applications. This synthesis technique promotes environmentally friendly principles by using natural materials that are easily available, cost-effective, and reduce the use of hazardous chemicals. The synthesis results show that the silver nanoparticles obtained have high stability and are able to increase the intensity of the Raman signal, allowing the detection of molecules at very low concentrations. Characterisation of AgNPs includes analysis using UV-Vis spectroscopy, TEM, XRD, as well as SERS performance measurements. This research shows that green chemistry-based synthesis methods can produce high-quality nanoparticles with high efficiency, so they have the potential to be widely applied in various chemical sensor applications that require high sensitivity.

Abstract

Pembiasaan doa harian merupakan salah satu upaya penting dalam pendidikan agama untuk anak usia dini, terutama di lembaga PAUD. Namun, keterbatasan perhatian dan minat anak sering kali menjadi tantangan dalam metode pembelajaran konvensional. Begitupun pada PAUD Insan Muda mulia. Metode pembelajaran doa yang diterapkan masih menggunakan metode mendengarkan guru secara berulang. Anak-anak cenderung kurang tertarik apalagi yang memiliki fokus terbatas sehingga dibutuhkan metode yang lebih interaktif untuk mempelajari doa-doa harian. Dengan demikian, dikembangkan model pembelajaran berupa smart daily pray . Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode prototyping untuk membangun prototipe sebelum mengembangkan sistem secara keseluruhan, sementara metode kualitatif mendukung proses pengumpulan data dan analisis. Dari hasil pengujian yang dilakukan sistem dapat berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan fungsionalitasnya. Dengan adanya sistem ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran yang inovatif dan interaktif dalam membantu pembiasaan doa harian pada PAUD Insan Muda Mulia.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penyakit tidak menular adalah penyakit yang tidak menular melalui kontak apapun. Penyakit tidak menular diantaranya adalah diabetes melitus, kadar kolesterol, dan kadar asam urat tinggi. Ketiganya menjadi penyebab kematian yang tinggi khususnya di Indonesia. Maka dari itu perlu dilakukan pemeriksaan awal sebagai bentuk pencegahan. Biasanya pemeriksaan dilakukan dengan metode invasif atau membuat perlukaan pada tubuh. Hal ini memberikan resiko timbulnya trauma dan infeksi serius. Oleh karena itu dilakukan pengembangan suatu metode non invasif untuk melakukan pemeriksaan awal kadar gula, kolesterol, dan asam urat dalam darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang alat cek gula darah, kolesterol, dan asam urat dengan sensor GY MAX30102 serta mengetahui cara memvalidasi alat cek gula darah,kolesterol, dan asam urat dengan sensor GY MAX 30102. Sensor ini menggunakan metode photoplethysmograph dengan memanfaatkan infrared untuk memantulkan objek lalu tertangkap oleh sensor detektor dan dioleh dengan mikrokontroler berupa seeeduino. Pada Penelitian ini metode yang digunakan berupa Research and Development (RnD). Setelah dilakukan penelitian didapatkan rata rata kestabilan alat dalam mengambil data adalah 95,27% angka ini menunjukan bahwa alat cukup stabil. Lalu didapatkan akurasi dalam membaca nilai gula darah sebesar 92,3%, kolesterol 92,9% dan asam urat sebesar 94,5% yang menunjukan bahwa alat ini melampaui batas eror kalibrasi. Presentase kesalahan error (kesalahan relative) dari alat sebesar 6,7%.
