Abstract

The increasing need for paper and the demands of the community for environmentally friendly technology is increasing, causing the need for a large supply of paper raw materials to the paper industry sector. The limited supply of raw materials for paper production caused by environmental issues causes the price of paper to rise. The content of bagasse is cellulose, pentosan, lignin and others, while the content of corn husk consists of ash, lignin, cellulose, and hemicellulose. These components can be used as paper making materials because they have high cellulose content. The resulting paper is expected to be used as an environmentally friendly packaging material. The purpose of this study is to determine the potential of corn husk waste and bagasse as an environmentally friendly packaging paper material, as well as to analyze the comparison between the composition of corn husk and sugarcane bagasse to produce the highest quality packaging paper . The test samples used in this study are tensile, elasticity and biodegradability tests. The results showed that corn husk waste and sugarcane bagasse have the potential to be environmentally friendly packaging paper. Paper with the best quality is compared to 25% corn husk and 75% bagasse with a tensile test of 14.8 N elasticity test of 13.33% and 50% biodegrated paper area.

Abstract

Learning is a process of negotiation, the meaning, and the process of assimilation of the new concepts into cognitive schema that is owned by the student. In order that it occurs a problem faced by every individual with respect to the ability to absorb new information. Each individual will have different speeds and produce different achievements also depend on factors that surrounded him. One important factor is the method of teaching. Various methods are available to explain to the students but each method will have different characteristics. In addition to the method, also pay attention to learning media in accordance with the character of the material, the method chosen and the students. In this research method used is a method STAD it is selected so that the quality of learning in the aspect of the interest and activity of increasing student learning. Media animation of the character this adjusting stoichiometry tend to be abstract. From the selection of a suitable model and the media are expected to increase learning achievement so that the quality of learning achieved. Keywords : STAD, Media Animasi

Abstract

(Eco-education) pemberian edukasi tentang lingkungan sebenarnya sudah diberikankepada mahasiswa pendidikan IPA Unhasy lengkap dengan isu-isu terbaru terkait permasalahanlingkungan melalui matakuliah PKLH dan IPL. Namun pemberian edukasi sekedar teori sajaternyata kurang memberikan efek maksimal kepada mahasiswa. Masih banyak mahasiswa yangkurang peduli terhadap permasalahan mengenai isu lingkungan. Salah satu contohnya adalahkurangnya kesadaran mahasiswa mengenai pengolahan sampah di lingkungan sekitar kampus.Kami sebagai peneliti tergerak untuk melakukan suatu upaya memberikan edukasi secara langsungkepada mahasiswa sekaligus melibatkan mereka dalam kegiatan pengolahan sampah menjadisesuatu yang lebih bernilai. Peneliti mencoba memanfaatkan sampah organik rumah tangga yangberupa sisa sayuran, kulit buah, dan air cucian beras menjadi pupuk cair organik organik (poc)dengan memanfaatkan Mikroorganisme Lokal (mol) pada budidaya Tanaman Buah dalam Pot(tabulampot). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi dan ketrampilan dasar tentangpemanfaatan sampah organik menjadi poc ramah lingkungan untuk budidaya tabulampot denganmemanfaatkan mol pada mahasiswa pendidikan IPA Unhasy Tebuireng Jombang. Berdasarkanhasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pemberian edukasi dan ketrampilan tentang pemanfaatan sampahorganik menjadi poc berbasis mol yang dimanfaatkan sebagai nutrisi tambahan pada budidayatabulampot memberikan pengaruh yang cukup besar terhadap pengetahuan dan ketrampilanmahasiswa mengenai ilmu lingkungan terutama mengenai pengelolahan sampah. Hal ini bisadilihat dari nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 76 dan nilai post-test 81.

Abstract

The characteristics of healthy snacks are containing healthy nutrition criteria, clean, and free from harmful additives, so it is safe to consume. Banjar cake is a sweet and crunchy cake made from glutinous rice flour with original flavors, chocolate and ginger. So, this community service entitled "Edu Krisza (criteria for healthy snacks free from additives), a typical Banjarese cake, culinary of Sumbernongko village". Some of the reasons why this Banjar cake has not become the main daily snack of the community are: 1) limited human resources, limited people who makes this Banjar cakes, because there is remain elder women only who can make Banjar cake in Nongko village, from 4 other villages; 2) Limited marketing including packaging factors and women who produce Banjar cake do not have ability in science and technology to promote; 3) limited consumers, which are only produced based on demands or certain events. These are the stages: 1) educational training on the criteria for healthy snacks free from additives; 2) Simulation of making Banjar cake; 3) Online marketing of Banjar cake through social media (Facebook, YouTube and Instagram).

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the science learning process which is stillcentered on the teacher (teacher center) and is still fixated on textbooks, so it requireslearning resources in the form of LKPD. The purpose of this study was to determine thefeasibility of student worksheets developed based on the validity of the LKPD based on thescientificoapproach. The type of research used in this researchiisdevelopmentjresearchjusing thejADDIE developmentpmodel whichjconsists of severalstagesk namely, Analysis,iDesign, Development, Implementation,iandEvaluation.oHowever, the implementation stage could not be implemented due to the covid19 pandemic. The subjects ofithis studyiconsisted of experts (material experts andvalidation experts). The expert provides an assessment of the validity level of the LKPDbasedpon the scientificoapproach developed by the researcher. Basedpon theiresults ofithevalidators, validation results obtained based on the assessment of two validation expertsand one material expert with an average score of 3.45% and 3.43% with the Very Validcategory as LKPD on global warming material. Thus , the developed LKPD has met theeligibility criteria.

Abstract

The Light brick is an engineered product developed from the usual brick with the addition of mixed materials. Brick is one type of composite material. Many people choose to use natural fiber-reinforced composites to replace synthetic ones and composite materials engineering development. So in the technology of brick-making, natural fibers are currently used as a choice as additional material mixed to produce light bricks. Additional materials often used in light bricks include fly ash, sawdust, coconut husks, rice husks, etc. This study used corn husk waste as additional material in the light bricks making. The addition of corn husk powder can affect the mechanical properties of brick. It is shown by the more significant the percentage of corn husk powder added, the smaller the density and compressive test value of the brick produced. Meanwhile, the greater the porosity value is. The decrease in density level and compressive test value will undoubtedly affect the brick's mechanical and physical properties. The reduction in density level and mechanical properties of the brickwork can be minimized by applying an outer layer in the form of cement mortar of the products.

Abstract

Interests and talents have a very big influence in achieving educational, job, position, or career achievements. Multiple Intelligences or multiple intelligences are various skills and talents that students have to solve various problems in learning and life. MA Midanutta'lim students Jogoroto Jombang do not yet know the urgency of talent and interest in achieving academic and career achievements, nor do they recognize their own talents and interests. The service that is carried out for the students of MA Midanutta'lim Jogoroto Jombang is training to track students' talents and interests. The purpose of this interest and talent training using the Multiple Intelligences method is to find out the interests and talents and intelligence of MA Midanut Ta'lim Jogoroto Jombang students. Based on the results of the dedication that has been carried out, it can be concluded as follows: 1) The talent and interest search training activities through the Multiple Intelligences approach are running smoothly. 2) The highest intelligence is linguistic 69.23% and the least naturalist intelligence is 9.23%. From the results of the questionnaire on student responses to this training, most of them 98% agreed. This shows that the training received a good response.Keywords: interest; talent; multiple intelegences AbstrakMinat dan bakat sangat besar pengaruhnya dalam mencapai prestasi pendidikan, pekerjaan, jabatan, atau karir. Multiple Intelligences atau kecerdasan majemuk merupakan berbagai keterampilan dan bakat yang dimiliki siswa untuk menyelesaikan berbagai persoalan dalam pembelajaran dan kehidupan. Siswa MA Midanutta’lim Jogoroto Jombang belum mengetahui urgensi bakat dan minat dalam mencapai prestasi akademik dan karir, juga belum mengenali bakat dan minat yang ada pada diri mereka sendiri. Pengabdian yang dilakukan pada siswa MA Midanutta’lim Jogoroto Jombang adalah pelatihan penelusuran bakat dan minat pada siswa. Tujuan pelatihan minat dan bakat dengan metode Multiple Intelegences ini adalah untuk mengetahui minat dan bakat serta kecerdasan pada siswa MA Midanut Ta’lim Jogoroto Jombang. Berdasarkan hasil pengabdian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: 1) Kegiatan pelatihan penelusuran bakat dan minat melalui pendekatan Multiple Intellegences berjalan lancar. 2) Kecerdasan terbanyak adalah pada linguistik 69,23% dan paling sedikit kecerdasan naturalis 9,23%. Dari hasil angket respon siswa terhadap pelatihan ini terbanyak 98% setuju. Hal ini menunjukkan pelatihan mendapat respon baik.Kata kunci: bakat; minat; multiple intelegences

Abstract

The rising of an environmental issue and the lack of the handling of garbage organizing give support to us to do the research by involving garbages as the main material in making simple visual aids of physics. Based on that condition, we try to make new innovations in stimulating the creativity developing of natural science education department students of UNHASY having done the lecturing of basic physics collaborated with environmental science. The purpose of the research is to be able to give insight through education program of 5R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Replace, Respect) to students of natural science department of University of Hasyim Asy’ari and apply that knowledge in changing garbage to be simple visual aids of physics. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive, whose data can be divided into 3 kinds: observation results (detail description of what has happened in the field), interview results ( direct citation from people’s statements in interview session) dan written material. The results of the data are, then analyzed by using observation sheets of creative thinking ability. The main research subjects are 29 students. Abstract

This community service program aimed to increase the knowledge and awareness of mothers in Sumbernongko Village, Ngusikan District, Jombang Regency about the importance of early education about the risks and dangers of electromagnetic waves exposed by smartphone signals (gadgets). The activities in this program were carried out by giving lectures, presenting interactive videos and question and answer. The first step was to provide education about what radiation is and its use in communication and the impacts that will occur in the short and long term. Then, it was followed by giving tips on reducing the use of gadgets. The target of this community service program was to make parents able to be wise and firm when limit ing the use of gadgets to their children and familiarize their children with activities outside or inside the home more because the role of parents in children's development is largely determined by their daily activities.

Abstract

Peristiwa pandemi Covid-19 di dunia termasuk Indonesia, menyebabkan perubahan sistem pembelajaran yang signifikan, biasanya tatap muka di kelas, kegiatan praktek di laboratorium berubah menjadi pembelajaran dalam jaringan atau daring. Pembelajaran proyek menggunakan masalah sebagai langkah awal dalam mengumpulkan dan mengintegrasikan pengetahuan baru berdasarkan pengalamannya dalam beraktivitas secara nyata. Mata kuliah model pembelajaran inovatif IPA adalah mata kuliah wajib dalam fakultas ilmu pendidikan yang menuntut mahasiswa dalam keaktifan dan kreatifitas menguasai materi tersebut sehingga lebih aplikatif dimanfaatkan saat kelak menjadi guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimental dengan teknik pengumpulan data secara observasi dan angket. Model Pembelajaran IPA SMP pada materi kimia mempunyai karakteristik pengetahuan yang abstrak bagi siswa SMP sehingga dibutuhkan keaktifan dan kreatifitas saat mengajar. Berdasarkan hasil angket didapatkan hasil sebagai berikut: persepsi mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah model pembelajaran inovatif 76,8; motivasi mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah model pembelajaran inovatif 78,40; pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah model pembelajaran inovatif 87,6; aktifitas dan kreatifitas mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran proyek 88,7; Kesan mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran proyek adalah 84,6. Dari hasil rerata diatas 75,0 hal ini menunjukkan pembelajaran proyek efektif diterapkan pada mata kuliah model pembelajaran inovatif IPA materi kimia SMP.
