Abstract

Telah dilakukan pengukuran gayaberat di daerah Lombok Tengah dan Lombok Timur yaitu dari Jonggat hingga Pringgabaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketebalan sedimen daerah Lombok Tengah dan Lombok Timur dengan menggunakan analisis spektrum pada data gayaberat. Dalam penelitian ini analisis spektrum dilakukan dengan cara mengubah data dari domain ruang ke dalam domain bilangan gelombang. Pada peta kontur complete bouguer anomaly daerah penelitian dibuat dua macam slicing yaitu slicing horizontal dari arah barat hingga timur daerah penelitian dan slicing vertikal dari arah utara hingga selatan daerah penelitian. Dari slicing arah horizontal didapatkan rata-rata ketebalan residual yang merepresentasikan ketebalan sedimen dari arah utara hingga selatan daerah penelitian sebesar (2154,47±1231,83) meter, sedangkan dari slicing arah vertikal didapatkan rata-rata ketebalan residual yang merepresentasikan ketebalan sedimen dari arah barat hingga timur  daerah penelitian (790,73±260,53) meter. Dari nilai ketebalan sedimen yang didapatkan menandakan daerah Lombok Tengah dan Lombok Timur memiliki tingkat keamanan dan ketahanan bangunan terhadap gempabumi lebih besar dibandingkan dengan daerah Lombok bagian utara. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari setelah terjadi gempabumi, kerusakan di daerah Lombok Tengah dan Lombok Timur lebih ringan dibandingkan dengan daerah Lombok bagian utara.

Abstract

One of the impacts of waste management is the presence of side-residual landfill waste that causes pollution potential of pollutants results in the form of decaying garbage leachate. This contamination occurs around the landfill Kebon Kongok impacting environmental degradation around the landfill area. To determine the extent to which and how the subsurface conditions around the landfill Kebon Kongok it will do the mapping and modeling using 3-dimensional (3D) geoelectrical method. The study was conducted on 3 pieces of lines are trending relative Southwest-Northeast. Each track has a length of 150m and retrieval of data using a dipole – dipole configuration-with spacing of 10m length. Resistivity measurements carried out with resistivitimeter GL-4100 GSound type and processed with software Res3Dinv. From the analysis it can be concluded that the entire study area has been contaminated by leachate polution, especially in the surface layer to a depth of 13.9 meters.

Abstract

Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilatar belakangi adanya kesenjangan kemampuan dan prestasi siswa antara Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) dan Madrasah Aliyah (MA) dalam memahami konsep Fisika. Untuk itu diadakan kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan pembuatan alat peraga fisika pada Siswa MA, dengan harapan dapat membantu para siswa MA dalam memahami konsep fisika dengan cara pengamatan langsung menggunakan alat peraga. Kegiatan ini dibagi menjadi tiga tahapan yaitu pra pelaksanaan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Pra pelaksanaan dilaksanakan untuk pembuatan alat peraga sederhana pada kasus Gerak Jatuh Bebas (GJB) dan pengukuran massa jenis cairan oleh Tim Pengabdian. Alat peraga dibangun berbasis Mikrokontroler. Tahap pelaksanaan berupa pelatihan pembuatan alat peraga dengan metode direct instruction. Pada tahap ini tim pengabdian memberikan materi mengenai konsep dasar pengenalan mikrokontroler sebagai komponen alat peraga dan cara pembuatan alat peraga berdasarkan konsep Fisika. Pada tahap ini Tim PKM juga mendemonstrasikan prinsip kerja alat peraga dan memberikan kesempatan peserta untuk mencoba langsung menggunakan alat peraga. Tahapan terakhir adalah evalusi kegiatan dengan melihat respon peserta pengabdian dan pemahaman materi kegiatan. Kegiatan pengabdian berjalan lancar, respon peserta sangat baik. Kegiatan pengabdian memberikan pengalaman baru bagi peserta dimana siswa dapat melihat langsung fenomena fisika yang terjadi melalui pengamatan dan dan pengenalan Mikrokontroler yang sangat luas penggunaanya untuk pembuatan alat Peraga Fisika.

Abstract

Gold processing waste contains many chemicals compound such as mercury and cyanide, which may help change the physical character of soil. In this study, the temperature, humidity and soil pH has been measured. Measurements of temperature and soil moisture are carried out using SHT11 sensors directly during gold processing. Measurements were carried out around the pond in three different directions. Each direction has 6 points, spaced 5 m apart. Measurements at one point are carried out for 20-21 hours. The measurement results are then mapped to a contour using Surfer-13. Based on the measurement results, obtained temperature values for all points are in the range 25.2-30.3 °C. While the value of soil moisture around 63.8-89.9%, and the soil pH value ranged from 6.8 to 8.1. The mapping results shows the distribution of temperature, humidity and soil pH with almost the same pattern, where the mercury concentration is linear with soil temperature, and soil pH, but non-linear with soil moisture

Abstract

The research has been done using geoelectric resistivity method to estimate the volume of Manganese (Mn)  carrier rock in Empol sub-village, Central Sekotong Village, West Lombok NTB. Measurements was conducted with the Wenner configuration using a Resistivity Meter G-Sound GL - 4100. Data was modeled and calculated using three software, there are Res2Dinv 3.5, Surfer 10, and Rockwork 15.  The rocks that regarded as carrier mangaan is pyrolusite manganese (Mn02). The description and distribution of MnO2 can be determined from the results of 2-dimension modeling using Res2Dinv. Mn02 was detected in  almost all resistivity line with value around 0,023  Wm up to 9,8  Wm.  From the 3-dimension visualization processed using RockWorks 15 software, we obtained volume of pirolusit about 38,199 m3 of area 160,000 m2 and 100 m of thickness.DOI: 10.29408/kpj.v4i2.2731

Abstract

Nusa Tenggara is one of the areas with a high level of seismic activity in Indonesia because this area is located between the Indian Ocean plate, which moves northward and pushes the Eurasian plate. One method that is often used to determine an earthquake's epicentre is the Tensor Moment Inversion method. This study aims to determine the moment tensor magnitude of each earthquake event and determine earthquake characteristics based on the earthquake focus mechanism in Nusa Tenggara from 2018 to 2019.  The earthquake with a magnitude of ≥ 5.7 SR and to find out the fault parameters, namely strike, dip, and rake using waveform data. One method that is often used to determine an earthquake's epicentre is the Tensor Moment Inversion method. The results showed that the fault planes formed were reverse faults and oblique faults. It has been calculated the moment tensor for each of the six components, namely Mxx, Myy, Mzz, Mxy, Myz and Mxz. From the results of the focal analysis of the 2018-2019 Nusa Tenggara earthquake mechanism, the values of the fault plane orientation parameters such as strike, dip and rake are obtained. For strikes in Nusa Tenggara on area 1, namely: 73° to 122°, Dip: 20° to 72° and Rake: 53° to 139°. While in field 2 for a strike, it is 232° to 280°, Dip 28° to 75°, Rake: 52° to 102°.

Abstract

The research has a goal to develop a model-based filter to separate the time lapse microgravity anomali caused by the 3 pieces of the source of anomalies with different depths. The activities which included in this research are: geological modeling, calculation of time lapse microgravity responses caused by several sources, designing of digital model based filter, application of the filter to separate synthetic time lapse microgravity anomali data, and performance test of the filter. Designed model is multi aquifer sistem with homogeny isotropic properties at different depth. Equipment of this research is a unit computer with MATLAB Version 7.11.0.584 (R2010b) and Microsoft Excel 2007 software. The designed filter can separate time lapse microgravity anomali based on its sources successfully with error less than 5%.Keywords: Filter, synthetic, time lapse microgravity anomaly

Abstract

Studies have been conducted to identify the occurrence of subsidence, a decline of groundwater, and to model the causes of subsidence in areas of Jakarta based on response of microgravity anomaly and vertical gravity gradient over time. Based on the processing and interpretation of gravity data advance of the time concluded that by using a combination of time lapse microgravity and its vertical gradient have been able to localize the source of the gravity anomaly and the results are strongly support the results of filtering to separate the source of the anomaly. The subsidence that occurs predominantly due to resettlement (in West and North Jakarta), caused by the extraction of groundwater and resettlement (in Central and East Jakarta), and dominated due to the extraction of groundwater (in South Jakarta).Keywords : Groundwater, time lapse micogravity, time lapse vertical gradient, resettlement, subsidence

Abstract

This research aimed to identify the presence of faults in Taman Ayu Village, Gerung District, West Lombok Regency by mapping the magnetic field. The fault outcrops found near this location becomes the reason to suspected the fault existence that reaching residents, farming area and access roads, so it is necessary to study the type, depth and direction of the fault. Measurements were made on 11 lines with a length of each line is 3 km. Each line of measurement is 300 m apart from each other and the distance between measurement points is 50 m, 100 m, and 200 m depending on the distance from the target location. Separation between regional anomalies and residual anomalies using the upward continuation method at an altitude of 1000 m. Qualitative interpretation of residual anomalies results in low anomalies with values from -890.9 nT to 897.3 nT. Quantitative interpretation of the five cross sections by the inverse modeling method with Oasis Montaj 6.4.2 software resulting subsurface geological structures in the form of normal fault. This normal fault is at a depth of 30 m to 480 m which is composed of layers of silt, sandy silt, sand, clay and breccia. The fault passes through Gapuk Village, Taman Ayu and Kebon Ayu and passes through the highway in Northeast – Southwest direction
