Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare the independent variables of Telkomsel cellular operators with other operators and determine the discriminant model of the brand switching of cellular operators Telkomsel. The approach used in this study is a comparative quantitative method. Independent variable consisting of product quality (X1), price (X2), promotion (X3) and brand image (X4), the dependent variable is Brand Switching (Y). The population of this study was 1028 STIE Dewantara (Odd Year 2015-2018) students. The number of samples taken was 100 samples with Slovin formula with alpha 5%. Data analysis using discriminant analysis. The results showed that the variables used in this study were overall valid and reliable so that the data obtained could be used in discriminant analysis of cellular operators of Telkomsel and other cellular operators. The value of consumer satisfaction of cellular operators is, on average, more satisfied to Telkomsel cellular operators, which is shown by the average value of satisfaction of 397.07 points while other cellular operators amount to 357.87 points. There are 3 differences in consumer perceptions of cellular operators towards Telkomsel. The difference in perception is in the variables of product quality, promotion and brand image. This means that users of cellular operators will compare these 3 variables before making a move to the Telkomsel brand.

Abstract

This study the sampling technique used accidental sampling technique and the samples of this study was 100 respondents. The results of the study show that the results of the partial hypothesis test prove that the product variable with a t-count value of 3,240> t-table value 1.66. With a significance value of 0.002 <0.05 a significance value smaller than 0.05 indicates that at the significance level of 5%, the hypothesis HO is rejected and Ha is accepted. Hypothesis test results simultaneously prove that together the factors of product, price, location and promotion have a positive and significant influence on consumer purchasing decisions Distro Club Kota Bogor. The results of multiple linear regression test obtained a regression equation that is Y = 5.743 + 0.399 X1 + 0.187 X2 + 0.010 X3 + 0.081 X4 which means that there is an increase in product, price, location and promotion as much as one unit will raise consumer purchasing decisions Distro Club City of Bogor. Whereas if there is no increase in product value, price, location and promotion then the value of the consumer purchasing decision Distro Club Bogor City will be constant at 5.743. The results of the coefficient of determination test obtained an adjusted R² value of 0.290, this shows that 29.0% purchasing decisions in Distro Club Bogor City influenced by the marketing mix while the remaining 71.0% purchasing decisions are influenced by other variables not examined in this research.

This study aims to identify the causes of low quality and provide suggestions for improving the painting process of the NGH 320 Excavator. The method used to conduct this research is the Six Sigma DMAIC method. With a sigma level value of 3.86, the painting process for the Excavator NGH 320 still requires process improvements to increase the sigma value. Based on the Pareto Diagram, the types of defects that dominate in the painting process are Runs/Saging (too much paint attached) of 65.08% and Fish Eyes (painting defects in the form of craters on the top coat paint) of 14.29%. At the repair stage using steps 5W + 1H and FMEA, the results obtained are 6 recommendations for improvement, namely providing IQA (Incoming Quality Assurance) in the goods receiving area, changing the operator's rolling schedule to every 1 or 2 weeks, changing the size of the spray gun nozzle to a larger size. small size (size 413 to 411), installing a filter regulator on the mixing machine, conducting training on understanding the working methods used, providing new tools for cleaning plates and some suggestions from the results of this research on the painting process of the NGH 320 Excavator.

Abstract

Fulfilling the need for transportation equipment is not only fulfilled by buying but, can also be done through a rental system. As a result, the vehicle rental business has become a very lucrative business opportunity, both corporate and individual. Efforts to seize a fairly large market share require the right strategy so that business owners can achieve the targets that have been set and can increase the number of management units (units in contract). This study aims to determine the effect of marketing variables (7P) on rental decisions at PT Surya Sudeco either partially or simultaneously. This study was also conducted to determine the marketing mix (7P) and how much the marketing mix (7P) can explain the vehicle rental decision at PT Surya Sudeco. The results of the T test show that among the independent variables (X) analyzed, only the product variable has a positive and partially significant effect on vehicle rental decisions. While the results of the F test show that the independent variable (X) simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable (Y). The value of the coefficient of determination (R Square) of 35.1% indicates the contribution of the influence of the independent variable simultaneously to the dependent variable. While the remaining 64.9% is the influence of other variables (residual/error values) outside of the variables studied.
