Abstract

Penguatan edukasi menjadi langkah penting dalam menghadapi perkembangan sistem pembayaran non-tunai di era digital. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) dalam menggunakan QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) sebagai metode pembayaran digital. Kegiatan dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa KKN Universitas Trunojoyo Madura Kelompok 43 yang bekerjasama dengan Bank Indonesia pada Juli 2025 di Desa Tampojung Tenggina, Kabupaten Pamekasan, Jawa Timur. Metode yang digunakan mencakup observasi awal, wawancara, sosialisasi interaktif, dan pendampingan teknis langsung kepada pelaku UMKM. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam penggunaan aplikasi pembayaran digital, dengan 3 UMKM berhasil mendaftar QRIS, 35 pelaku usaha menggunakan Dana, dan 9 menggunakan GoPay. Selain itu, pelaku UMKM juga mulai memanfaatkan media digital untuk pencatatan keuangan dan promosi produk. Dampak kegiatan ini terlihat dari meningkatnya kepercayaan diri pelaku usaha dalam mengadopsi sistem pembayaran digital. Meskipun masih terdapat tantangan infrastruktur seperti jaringan internet dan keterbatasan perangkat, kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam mendorong inklusi keuangan dan transformasi digital di tingkat desa.

Abstract

The cultivation area for melon (Cucumis melo L.) in Indonesia has been declining despite increasing consumption, necessitating innovative production techniques. This study evaluates the application of the Internet of Things (IoT) in greenhouse-based melon cultivation using an automated drip irrigation system. The system integrates solar-powered sensors and microcontrollers to monitor temperature, humidity, pH, and Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), with real-time feedback via the Blynk application. Melon plants were grown hydroponically (cocopeat: sawdust 1:1) in a 6×12 m greenhouse at P4S Bumiaji Sejahtera, Batu, East Java. Results showed that measured temperature (21.9–30.3 °C) and humidity (57–99.9%) were generally within optimal ranges for melon growth.  The TDS of the nutrient solution (≈1860–1894 ppm) was near the recommended 1600–1800 ppm for hydroponic melon. The humidifier operated as intended (ON at 50–70% RH, OFF at 80–90%). Blynk connectivity allowed real-time data display only when the internet was available. Water discharge from the drippers varied widely (10–60 mL/min) across seven points, attributed to emitter placement and backflow. Camera feeds from the greenhouse were viewable in the Blynk app when online, but not when offline. The IoT drip-irrigation system functioned and provided remote monitoring, but sensor issues and uneven flow limited optimal automation. Future work should improve sensor calibration, flow uniformity, and integrate fertigation.

Abstract

Abstrak Program pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di Desa Sana Tengah, Kecamatan Pasean, Kabupaten Pamekasan, merupakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan sebagai bentuk untuk menciptakan kelompok tani yang sejahtera. Kegiatan ini memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani dalam menggunakan light trap sebagai alat monitoring dalam pengendalian hama terpadu. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 50 responden dari anggota Kelompok Tani Padi Mas, program ini menggunakan tahapan yaitu koordinasi dengan kelompok tani, pemantauan lapang kondisi lahan pertanian bawang merah, FGD, Penerapan light trap, pendampingan dan evaluasi kegiatan untuk mengukur efektivitas kegiatan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan petani mengenai pengendalian hama, di mana dari 60% responden yang awalnya tidak mengetahui menjadi 80% tahu dan sangat tahu, serta mengalami peningkatan keterampilan penggunaan lightrap lebih dari 70% setelah mengikuti program ini. Selain itu, program ini juga memperkenalkan teknik pertanian tumpangsari, yang memungkinkan petani untuk menanam lebih dari satu jenis tanaman dalam satu lahan, sehingga meningkatkan produktivitas dan keuntungan secara ekonomi. Kata kunci: bawang merah; kelompok tani; light trap; pengendalian hama terpadu. Abstract The community service programme conducted in Sana Tengah Village, Pasean Sub-district, Pamekasan Regency, represents an initiative aimed at fostering prosperous farmer groups. The programme sought to enhance farmers' knowledge and skills in using light traps as a monitoring tool within an integrated pest management framework. This initiative involved 50 respondents from the Padi Mas Farmers Group. It was carried out in several stages, including coordination with the farmer group, field monitoring of red onion agricultural conditions, focus group discussions (FGDs), implementation of light traps, assistance, and activity evaluation to measure programme effectiveness. Evaluation results indicated a significant improvement in farmers’ knowledge of pest control, with the percentage of respondents who were previously unaware decreasing from 60% to only 20%, while 80% became knowledgeable or highly knowledgeable. Additionally, over 70% of participants improved their skills in using light traps following the programme. The initiative also introduced intercropping techniques, enabling farmers to cultivate multiple crops on the same land, thereby increasing productivity and economic profitability. Keywords: red onion; farmers group; light trap; integrated pest management

Biopesticides derived from Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) offer a sustainable alternative to chemical insecticides; however, their widespread adoption is often constrained by the high cost of production media. This study aimed to develop low-cost media using locally available flours (tapioca, arrowroot, mung bean, and soybean) for Bt-based biopesticide production and to evaluate their efficacy against S. frugiperda larvae. Bacillus thuringiensis strain Bt21was inoculated into each low-cost medium, and their bacterial growth was recorded. Bacterial viability during eight weeks of storage was monitored weekly using the spread agar methods. Insecticidal activity was evaluated through larval bioassays using ten larvae per experimental unit with four replications. Larval mortality was recorded and determined using probit analysis to estimate Lethal Concentration (LC) and Lethal Time (LT) values. The results showed that among the four flour, tapioca-based medium supported the highest bacterial growth and maintained viability over time compared with others. At 15% concentration, Bt formulations using tapioca and arrowroot resulted in the highest larval mortality (95% and 90%, respectively), with low LC₅₀ values (1.67% and 1.80%) and rapid LT₅₀ value (3.20 h and 9.07 h). In contrast, mung bean and soybean-based media were found less effective, exhibiting higher LC and LT values. These findings demonstrate that substrate composition significantly influences bacterial viability and insecticidal activity. In conclusion, tapioca and arrowroot flours are effective and low-cost substrates for Bt-based biopesticide production and offer promising options for sustainable pest management. The use of locally available agricultural resources can support more economical and environmentally friendly biopesticide development for farming systems.
